Four days, they've been here four days and haven't seen anymore of the blonde celestial mage other than the glimpse they gone on the first day and nothing at all of Cobra, her accomplice. Vander was sure it was sure more than ever it had only been those two involved in the looting from everything he and his brother had learned so far.

Not much is known about Cobra other than he was a sound mage, like their older brother Farron, turned poison dragon slayer due to the lacrima implanted in him in an illegal experimentation done by Fiore's Bureau of Magical was originally a member of the Oracion Seis until he broke out of prison a second time only to be fully pardoned of his crimes by the Queen herself for his actions during the Alvarez war.

He was most likely the mastermind, look out and physical muscle of their brief partnership.

Lucy was a powerful celestial spirit mage at a level unheard of for her magic type at such a tender age. There had been 6 false trails left by her spirits so that meant she'd been able to hold that many gates open for hours… It was impressive and made Vander really want to try sparing with her as well as a good amount of other things.

She was born a Fioren heiress who ran away from home to be a mage then joined Fairy Tail. She's a well known adventure and romance novelist here in Fiore and oddly enough Cealum. Nothing in her history suggests she'd have a clue how plan her little heist but it had to be her heist given the key they recovered was Aquarius; last known to have been contracted to Lucy before the key disappeared 4 years ago.

Yes, his quarry was good but the largest impediments in his being able to track either down was Freed and both of his brothers.

Kaleb, the traitor, had completely backed off most likely because he got the answers he was looking for from the knowledge he'd surreptitiously pulled from everyone's minds and because of Bickslow's warning. Jerk wouldn't share it either as a sort of payback for what Vander had done earlier - ass didn't know how to take a joke.

While the youngest of the Pradesh bunch loved all of his family and showed it through his loyalty and respect, he also believed that an adult had the right to make decisions for themselves and until Lucy or Cobra told him no… he was going to try his damnedest to get the answers he wanted and them both in his bed...or up against a wall, on the floor, in the shower...he wasn't picky.

So now, four fucking days had passed and he'd finally slipped his watch dogs and was out looking for the blonde. She was much more likely to give into his brand of interrogation than a reformed criminal so he'd track her down first which happened to be a lot more difficult than he'd have thought.

She hadn't been home in days, there were no records of her getting on a train to leave town and she wasn't staying with any of her friends. The shadowquip had managed to sneak into the Rune Knights local post and access their monitoring lacrima cameras and saw Lucy leaving toward the east.

Oh this was already so much fun. There was a huge forest to the east of magnolia filled with all sorts of magical creatures that would do a lot to hide a mage's natural magical signature, well from everyone except from him. He'd made sure to memorize both mage's signatures while he'd snuck up on them in the voids just in case they ran so now as long as he was within a certain distance from them he'd be able to root them out. Which is what he had done but her location didn't make sense. Lucy was somehow several feet underground with no apparent access point in the vicinity.

Challenge accepted.
