I've finally got Brown-white's real name for a while now, but it would not be revealed very soon. I think you guys would like it.

I never knew that this story would even have a plot, but alas, it has, so I have edited chapters before to include some relevant foreshadowing. Kudos if you catch them!

Some of the plot is written down, and I'm so excited for the ending! I just need to know what happens between those times and snag the time to fabricate it all. XD Enjoy, and please review if you like it, have critique, suggestions, etc. Thank you so much to those who have.

Icepaw

We head back to our willow-strewn territory after saying good-byes to the cats who woke up around us. We went to different directions: the friendly she-cat and her dumb younger companion to the treeless territory, the lost-foot ginger tom to the dark pine forest, and the bulky brown she-cat I haven't seen before to the crowded oak forest. By now the sun has started to sleep, and stretched across the sky was a star-strewn blanket - oh, it was like the cat I saw, Hazelstar!

Why should I listen to him? The brown-pelted she-cat leaned her over the bundles of fur. She ate the sharp herbs that rested in her den. Disapproved by Leader, disapproved by the Clan? shamed by her kits

I mustn't think of such things, but I will do as they say. I will belong as medicine cat, like Brown-white has. Speaking of him, he keeps glancing at me, as if he was expecting me to do something. Green eyes flicker my way for just a fraction of a moment, then continue to look forward into the darkness. At one point I return the glance, but he gives me a little smile and continues like he did nothing.

He seems so hopeful from when we had left the moonlit stream. Did a cat visit his dream, too? I tilt my head to the side but continues on. There were so many things that could've happened! Maybe Hazelstar visited his dream, too!

When we finally enter the camp, we were met by happy Leader. She seems so unlike from when she was shaking her head like in the illusion.

The symphony of scents that were wafting from the medicine den gives me an idea, and when Brown-white settles into his nest, I stand up and find it nestled right like it was in the dream. I present it to him proudly, grasping it firmly in my jaws. Ooh, the parsley was so strong!

It seems like he had another dream because his eyes crinkle in bemusement, but he gives me a small nod and all is good.

StarClan

"What happened?!" Wrenstar screams at Hazelstar, pacing the area and her dark eyes flashing vehemently.

"I tried, all right?" Hazelstar snarled back. "I did what you wanted - and then I even made the damn birds and wind sing and blow louder! It's not even your Clan, but I did what you asked!"

"Apparently, it didn't work, so try harder!" the little she-cat spits back.

Froststar blinks in surprise; although Wrenstar was known to have one of her bouts, Hazelstar never did so. "Wrenstar, that's unfair. I knew Hazelstar made sure she could hear - what we must discuss now is what we can do about it. It could have been worse if it was the other way around, and there are plenty of other chances to let her know."

Wrenstar shakes her head angrily. "Time doesn't wait for you or for anyone. We just have to start over. At least she learned one lesson that night," she said haughtily, and padded away, each step seeming awfully heavy for a cat her size.

"At least your medicine cat knows about her power, right?" Froststar muttered to Hazelstar. "And what's his name again?"

"Yes. And that was another matter we had to discuss, about Icepaw," Hazelstar said, his voice lowered to a growl and eyes glaring after Wrenstar, "and we never gave Icepaw her powers, didn't we?"

Froststar shook her head. "No."
