Just a heads up, I overdid it with the battle between Diantha and May. Sorry for those of you who aren't into action, but this story won't have as much as action as Advanced Wishes so I figured I might as well have some heavy action included in a chapter just to entertain those who like action. If you don't want to read the battle, just go ahead and skip because no major details are included. Other than that, enjoy!

Chapter 11: Stop Pressurin' Me

"May…why are you introducing yourself?" Ash was almost at a loss for words because of the puzzlement in the air.

May retreated her hand and raised an eyebrow. "I thought it would be formal of me to introduce myself."

"But May we already know each other. I've known you for a long time. We even traveled together. It seems silly to introduce yourself again." Ash became further perplexed with every second.

May rested her chin on her fist and placed one arm under her elbow as she looked at him with bafflement. "I'm sorry, but I don't recall ever traveling with you," May apologized.

"Hey May, please talk to us too!" A man was prepared to burst out of the crowd until an agent managed to hold him back.

"May, the crowd is getting out of control," one of her agents whispered in her ear.

When May say how overwhelming the crowd was becoming, even for her agents, she nodded. "Please excuse me, I really can't stick around any longer." May turned around to her limo.

"May!" Ash tried to reach his hand out in grab to stop her, but then he decided not to.

"By the way Ash, thank you for the letter," May grinned sweetly at him as she entered her limo then pulled the door so that the vehicle would close.

With that said and done the limo took off, leaving a cloud of dust behind. All Ash and Pikachu could do was stand there with the greatest form of perplexity across their faces. What the heck just happened? Ash stared at the spot where the limo was parked.

Ash took a spoon of his ice cream. He quickly ate it and turned his eyes to Pikachu, "I don't get it pal. Why was May acting like that? Like if she didn't remember us," the boy sighed. He wondered if it was a trick just get back at him for not contacting her all these years or May just simply forgot about him after all these years.

"Pika pi," Pikachu tried to comfort his friend as he sat on the table eating his ice cream like a human for the fun of it.

"Has the fame gotten to her head then? Are we not good enough to be her friends anymore?" Ash became unsettled as he pictured May as a primadonna.

"Pi pika!" Pikachu frowned at Ash, immediately dismissing the thought as preposterous.

The raven-haired boy merely sighed in response. "Well at least we know she got the letter now." May's words of the letter echoed in Ash's head as he thought about it. By the way Ash, thank you for the letter.

"Pikachu pipipika pika pikachu." Pikachu began flap his arms. The mouse spoke about May never being the kind of person who would just forget about her friends. He then reminded Ash of the brunette's kind heart. He reminded Ash of the girl who was willing to give up the Grand Festival simply out of concern for her brother.

Ash nodded as Pikachu kept talking, easily remembering that day on Donphan Island when May had cried in front of the pair. Never had Ash witnessed such a selfless action from anyone. Since that day he had undying respect for the lovable coordinator.

"You're right pal. There must be a reasonable explanation. After all it did some hours for me to remember Serena when we met up with her." Ash smiled sheepishly and finally understood how Serena must have felt that day.

"Pika!" Pikachu shook his head with a grin.

"Pikachu, after everything May's family told us we can't give up now. As May's friends we're going to figure out what's going on around here." Ash beamed confidently while pulling down the brim of his hat.

"Pikachu!" Pikachu shouted enthusiastically, pointing right behind Ash.

Ash turned around to see what Pikachu was looking at. Guess we know where we'll start now, Ash thought coolly as he gazed at a poster posted on the window of the café. May vs. Diantha tonight at the Prism Tower! The boy read the poster.

May gently combed her hair as she looked at the mirror. "It's unbelievable how people can rush a girl out of her home even when she hasn't finished brushing her hair," she complained as she brushed her beautiful brown hair.

To keep her mind off the annoyance she currently felt, she wondered about what happened earlier today, which she did not have a chance earlier thanks to the craze around the city. That boy from today, Ash, May recalled his name and an image of the boy popped in her head. She remembered his features quite well: the blue short-sleeved shirt, the red hat, his raven black hair, and auburn eyes. She assumed he was around her age, but when she was near him she felt a very childlike and innocent aura. I felt kind of pure, strange, and happy around him, May thought. She disregarded the idea as just her mind playing tricks.

"It sure was a nice surprise to see him. Meeting him this far away from Kanto was the last thing I would expect," May spoke. But then again, fans are unpredictable too, May giggled. May placed her brush on the bathroom counter and had thinking face on. "I just wonder why he kept saying that we traveled together and we are friends, it's just like in the letter."

The brunette placed her finger on her chin and stood like that for several seconds. Suddenly, she sighed, I can't remember any Ash that I met while traveling. She turned around to exit the bathroom. I wish I could have found out more. I did have some questions, and I wanted to thank him more about that letter he sent, the girl thought as she stepped out onto the back part of her private jet. She took out some of her stuff stored in a compartment over the seats, oh well…I doubt I'll ever see him again.

Night was beautiful, the stars shined like diamonds and giant spotlights released beams of light that danced in the sky. The Prism Tower also shined a beautiful bright blue, especially at the top that resembled a star in the air. The most obvious feature of the night though was the hundreds if not thousands of people crowded around the Prism Tower area. Ash mingled into the crowd as he admired the exciting place. Everywhere he looked, people were waving flags with May or Diantha's face. They even wore accessories associated the two trainers; some wore Blaziken shirts or Beautifly hats. Some were a bit more extreme with their dedication. When Ash saw several girls dressed like May he got slightly disturbed but let it go.

"Pikachu, all of these people are here to cheer for May and Diantha. We rarely ever see crowds this big." Ash looked over to the Pokémon on his shoulder.

"Pikachu pi," Pikachu laughed nervously, a bit frightened by the eccentric people.

"WHOO MAY! WE'RE HERE TO ROOT FOR YOU GIRL!" a woman screamed, scaring Ash and Pikachu a bit.

Ash laughed uneasily as he scratched his cheek. "Look it's a plane!" a man shouted.

Everybody around the pair looked up immediately. Ash and Pikachu quickly did the same and spotted an aircraft. "Is that a jet?" Ash narrowed his eyes a bit to better identify the object.

"It's a jet with May inside!" a little girl screamed.

Abruptly, the crowd roared into sheer screams that hurt Ash and Pikachu's ears. Suddenly I kind of regret coming here. Ash covered his ears but proved futile in trying to block out the screams.

As the shouting eased a bit, the two returned their eyes to the sky. Tonight May battles the Kalos League Champion. Ash smiled as he stared at the aircraft. Never thought I would end up thinking that. Ash chuckled, once again thinking of May's incredible feats.

"May, don't you think it would be better if we just land?" an agent suggested.

"Nope," May laughed. Then she excitedly opened the plane's door, allowing the cool breeze of the night to enter. "I think it's more fun this way, plus we have to give the fans what they want right?" May winked.

"Oh no," the agent sighed.

All of a sudden May walked to the opposite end facing the entrance of the plane. "Here we go!" May shouted as she threw herself out the plane.

"May!" the agent shouted in fear.

People screamed in horror and shock when they saw May. Ash and Pikachu's eyes widened when they saw her pop out of the jet. May smiled and acted like she was sky diving for a few seconds. She made several movements that made people question if she was actually entertaining them or was trying to kill herself. Can't die just yet. May felt it was time to call out her Pokémon.

She grabbed one of her Pokéballs and threw it in the air. "Salamence, let's fly!" May shouted, once again amazing the crowd.

Her Pokéball released an energy beam that instantly took the shape of the intimidating Dragon Pokémon. Salamence made a revolution (math term) and then let out a "RAAAAAAWWW!" roaring proudly as May landed on its back.

"Dragon Rush!" May ordered as soon she landed.

Without wasting another second or giving the crowd a chance to praise her, May and Salamence took off. As Salamence danced in the night, a blue sphere engulfed the dragon and May. When the Dragon-type's speed became more intense it began to leave a long trail of blue energy as well. Everyone was captured by the gorgeous blue aura and trail Salamence gave off.

"Spiral," May grinned confidently. At the sound of May's command Salamence aimed straight at the Prism Tower and fascinated the crowd even more when it began to spiral around the tower. The blue energy from Dragon Push began to envelope the tower like a giant spiral and the pattern continued until Salamence reached the top.

"You know the rest." May scratched the dragon behind his ear.

Salamence growled at the moon as it reached the top of the tower and spread its wings majestically. The moment it spread its wings the blue energy that enveloped Salamence broke into a shape of Salamence itself except four times bigger. The blue shadow left the crowd with jaws dropping. As the blue energy began to fade from the tower May and Salamence mobilized to the next part of their performance.

The dragon raised its head high and fired a sphere of energy that's gleam competed with that of the moon. At that moment it burst into multiple shining meteors of all colors. "It's a rainbow Draco Meteor!" a woman clasped her hands together as she admired the multicolored dragon attack.

May snapped her fingers as the meteor shower perfected the night's splendor. "GRAAAAWW!" Salamence formed rock-shaped energy attacks around it and then fired them in all directions. The white glow of the Stone Edge was a marvelous spectacle, but it was still far from over.

The stones lined up together like a stream and together emitted an even bright white glow. The magnificent Rock-type move motioned left, right, up, and down all over the sky until it took the shape of a belt around the Draco Meteor like an asteroid belt and moved in a circular fashion around the dragon attack. May then clapped her hands together and the Stone Edge belt closed in on Draco Meteor before it could shoot down any further. The sharp stones cut through the dragon attack like paper and the collision resulted in a shower of sparkles that were of all colors. With the performance wrapped up May spread her arms out, indicating that she had finished.

Within a second the crowd erupted into praise as May waved at them while flying around playfully with Salamence. Pikachu and especially Ash were awestruck. Ash was simply taken back by the demonstration. It was the greatest spectacle he had ever seen. It topped many of the techniques he had seen coordinator's do; it was the most phenomenal thing he had ever seen. What also caught his attention as much May's show was her appearance. He couldn't help but admire how beautiful the dress May wore fitted with the atmosphere.

The outfit sort of resembled the one she had worn long ago at the Wallace Cup in Sinnoh. It certainly had the same Arabian fashion, but it was a bit more. This time the pants were a blue of the same color as May's eyes with a gold-colored section at the waist. Her top was the same color as her bottom and exposed her stomach. The lower part of the top was transparent compared to the rest of it and at the middle it had a gold-colored line design that traced the bottom of her breasts. Passing the gold-colored line that divided the shirt in half, the rest was the same color but not transparent like the lower part of her top. Not surprisingly, the shirt did make May's chest more noticeable and in the space between her breasts rested a sapphire gem with a golden outline. The top also exposed May's shoulders and hung from the sections between May's elbows and shoulders. However, the most obvious part of the outfit was the sapphire-colored headband on her head and another sapphire gem with a golden outline that rested right in the middle of the headband.

With the moonlight and glistening stars, May's outfit gleamed beautifully and gave off a mystic appearance. When the girl and her dragon descended at the top of the Prism Tower she waved once more. Her position under the moon and her striking appearance along with her dragon completely beautified the event.

When May left the scene everyone mobilized to enter the Prism Tower in order. However, no one would be more excited to watch the battle then Ash. So this is superstar May, huh? Ash grinned confidently as prepared to witness one of the greatest battles of his life.

"Good evening madams and monsieurs, tonight we are going to witness history in the making. The Lumiose City Gym Leader, who is currently away, has been incredibly generous in opening the Prism Tower stadium for this one night event! My dear amis (French for friends) tonight I'm happy to host the battle between Kalos's renowned Champion and a world favorite, but first let's start with the introductions. She is known for her powerful skills as a trainer, for her talented acting, and luring charm. She's the celebrity crush of many; she remains Kalos's undefeated sweetheart. Everyone please welcome the gorgeous and prodigious Diantha, leader of the Elite Four and Champion of Kalos!" the man pointed in the direction from where Diantha would appear from.

As soon as all spotlights turned to the exit, a cloud of smoke appeared there and there were multiple flashes that appeared to be that of cameras. Through the smoke effects walked out a glamorous woman in a white fashionable outfit. She coolly winked at the audience and blew a kiss, causing a huge uproar.

"Look Pikachu, its Diantha. She looks as pumped as ever." Ash watched from the audience, briefly remembering the day he met the famous champion with Serena, Clemont, and Bonnie.

"And her opponent, who I'm proud to present, has visited us all the way from Hoenn. The revolutionary of Pokémon Coordinating, she is without a doubt the leader and queen of the field. She trained under Wallace's guidance and has not lost a contest since first Grand Festival victory in Johto. Please welcome the beautiful child prodigy of the era and the future of Pokémon contests and battles, ladies and gentlemen, I bring you the Magnificent May!" the man pointed to where May would appear from.

When spotlights focused in the spot where the girl would appear, special fire effects got activated. The fire seemed so real that a few individuals became alarmed, but everyone got astonished when they saw a confident brunette walk out without a burn on her skin. She looked like an Arabian princess who courageously walked out of the fire; her presence clearly gave off a powerful aura when everyone sighted her.

May waved and blew kisses here and there; the only person who could compete with the commotion May caused was Diantha herself. "Go May!" Ash shouted, causing other people to follow his lead and scream the same thing as well as Pikachu.

"May, it is such an honor to finally meet you. I've heard a great deal from Wallace about you," Diantha spoke to the girl from across the battlefield.

"The honor is all mine Diantha. I never imagined you would invite me for a battle, so let me thank you for having me," the sapphire-eyed girl grinned at her.

"Anything for a fellow celebrity," Diantha grinned. "By the way I hope you know I'm expecting a superb battle from you. You must be aware that you are considered among the strongest trainers around."

"I don't intend on disappointing, but I hope you'll play your part as well," May beamed slyly.

"Never," Diantha chuckled as she reached for a Pokéball.

A referee appeared in the position they would normally stand to judge the battle. "This will be a one-on-one battle between Champion Diantha and Special Guest May. No substitutions are allowed. First trainer who gets their Pokémon knocked out loses. Let the battle begin!" the referee raised his flags.

"Let the excitement begin folks!" the host announced, causing another series of screams.

"Go Gardevoir!" Diantha kissed her Pokéball and through it.

"Blaziken…" May reached for her Pokéball and began to spin like a top, making her shirt spin like a skirt. "Take the stage!" May threw her Pokéball like if it were a Frisbee once she stopped spinning.

"Gar," Gardevoir had sparkles emerge with it once it appeared on the field, gazing mysteriously at her opponent.

"Blaz," Blaziken appeared on the battlefield with a spinning entrance similar to what May had done but with some embers encircling. "Ken!" the speedy Pokémon stopped instantly and powered up the flares on its wrists.

"Looks like I have the advantage," Diantha smirked.

"There's more to a battle then type advantages," May crossed her arms.

"Alright Gardevoir, Teleport," Diantha made a fist.

"Gar," Gardevoir closed its eyes then suddenly vanished.

"Blaziken, we've been in this situation. I'm sure you know we deal with it," May smiled confidently at her Fire-type.

"Ken," Blaziken nodded.

"Moonblast," Diantha opened her fist.

Gardevoir abruptly appeared in front of Blaziken with a pink ball of energy charged up and ready to be launched. "Blaziken deliver our Blaze Revolution Kick!" May made a fist.

"Ken!" Blaziken prepared to somersault over the Psychic-type. The quick Fighting-type successfully jumped over Moonblast, but Diantha responded with a chuckle.

"Bring it down with Psychic," Diantha smirked.

"Gardevoir," Gardevoir's eyes began to glow and so did Blaziken.

"Blaz?" Blaziken remained paralyzed in midair, gritting its teeth out of annoyance.

"Don't lose your cool Blaziken, we've just begun," May extended her arm out to the right.

"Slam it," Diantha crossed her arms. Gardevoir quickly obeyed and slammed Blaziken into the ground, making the Fire-type cry in pain. Blaziken attempted to free himself, but Psychic had him stuck in place. "Moonblast," Diantha closed her eyes.

"Gaaaaar," Gardevoir charged up a Moonblast while still using Psychic. Blaziken and May remained calm as the Fairy-type move grew in size.

"Fire," Diantha opened her eyes, wondering why her opponents had not reacted.

"Flamethrower," May extended her arm out once again.

"Blaziken!" Blaziken declared then released an intense flame to counter Moonblast.

"Voir!" Gardevoir fired Moonblast that instant and both mighty attacks exploded on contact, creating a cloud of smoke. The force of the impact also sent Gardevoir flying some feet back as she winced in slight pain.

"Now let's use that Blaze Kick from earlier," May commanded confidently.

"Blaze!" Blaziken shot out of the cloud unharmed. With Gardevoir still recovering from the side effects of the collision, Blaziken gave her no time to react. When Gardevoir saw Blaziken do a revolution and aim its fiery talon right at her face, her eyes grew. "Ken!" the Fire-type spat as it kicked Gardevoir in the face with full force from the fiery kick.

"Voir!" Gardevoir squealed in pain as it flew back against the wall in seconds.

"I don't understand, how was your Blaziken able to remain unaffected by the blast from Flamethrower and Moonblast," Diantha looked at her Pokémon who slowly tried to get itself off the wall.

"Blaziken was lying on the ground when that happened so the force didn't necessarily push him back because he had to be standing to get affected by the physics behind it, clever huh?" May chuckled, smirking at her opponent.

The majority of the crowd roared with excitement over the result, amazed by the turn of events. Among them was Ash, "Did you see that Pikachu, Diantha didn't stand a chance. Blaziken was too fast and that revolution Blaziken did to enhance the force Blaze Kick was even smarter. The Blaze Kick built up so much force it was able to sent Gardevoir flying back like a bullet!"

"Pika," Pikachu nodded, but his eyes never turned away from the gripping battle Ash and he were watching.

Several others however became disappointed with May's advantage over Diantha. Diantha herself knew she would have to try harder against the younger woman. "Ok May, we'll play with tricks," Diantha smirked. At that moment Gardevoir freed itself from its position against the wall. The Psychic-type hovered over to its spot on the battlefield then Diantha made her move, "Double Team."

Gardevoir closed its eyes and multiplied into enough Gardevoir to create a whole perimeter around the battlefield. Smart, but not smart enough, May smirked. "Psyshock!" Diantha yelled.

"Gardevoir!" the Gardevoir cried out then released blobs of psychic power from all directions.

"Fire Spin!" May shouted her counter. Blaziken saw the incoming barrage of psychic moves and without wasting another minute began to perform multiple revolutions. It moved so fast it was a red blur shooting out a twister of fire. The fiery spiral fascinated everyone as it got high enough to touch the ceiling.

The Psyshock instantly blew up on contact with Blaziken's improvised Fire Spin. "Now let her rip!" May extended her arm forward.

"Blaziken!" Blaziken roared and extended its arms out immediately after halting its spinning. The intense fire flames it gathered up were sent in all directions like tsunamis except smaller and made of fire.

The trick easily wiped out all the Gardevoir, but Diantha's Gardevoir was smart enough to dodge with Teleport. Once Blaziken's fire attack passed its former position Gardevoir reappeared again.

"Tres bien, this is turning out to be like my kind of battle. Everything I've heard about you as a trainer is true, your strength, speed, ferocity, it's all impeccable," Diantha smiled.

"We always take our battles serious, ain't that right Blaziken," May smirked.

"Blaze!" Blaziken intensified the fires on its wrist in response.

"I do hope you realize that this was a warm-up though. The real battle has just begun," Diantha moved her fingers to a peculiar item on her necklace.

When May saw where her fingers were moving she smiled, "The real battle begins." The girl raised her arm to reveal the Mega Ring on her wrist.

Diantha shook her head then touched her Mega Charm. All of a sudden, a bright energy began to engulf Gardevoir. May slammed her fingers on her Mega Ring as well and Blaziken got engulfed in a bright power.

"Pikachu you see that too right?" Ash took a careful look at the items on Diantha and May.

"Pi," Pikachu nodded, who was just as astonished as Ash.

"Who would've known that May had a Mega Ring too," Ash grinned. His eyes began to glisten and he formed fists of excitement, "Pikachu this battle is getting so fired up I can hardly contain my excitement!"

Other people in the audience also got shocked by the Mega Evolution occurring in front of them. It was at this sudden moment that they all knew Diantha and May were going to give it everything they had. The energies enveloping the Pokémon soon got out of control and rays of energy burst randomly. The gleam from the transformation became so bright it became momentarily blinding. The power exerted formed cracks on the battlefield and bolts of power blasted random areas of the stadium, causing minor damage. When the transformation finally settled and the powers had eased, in Blaziken and Gardevoir's place were somewhat different Pokémon.

Blaziken could easily be recognized, but it also had some noticeable features you wouldn't see in its regular form. The structure of its head and the black color scheme were easily the most obvious differences between Blaziken and Mega Blaziken.

On the other side Gardevoir remained relatively the same except its gown seemed to resemble a bridal gown and the Pokémon itself was almost entirely white. There were also two horns extending out of its chest instead of one.

"May you can do it!" Ash shouted, but he was clearly too far to be heard and there were many other people shouting as well.

"Misty Terrain and send it hurling with Psychic!" Diantha extended her arm out to the left.

"Gar!" Gardevoir raised its arms and called forth a light blue mist. Once it became covered in the dense mist it spread it out with Psychic.

"You intend to blind us with a Misty Terrain; don't you think we know a way to counter it?" May raised an eyebrow.

"Spin your way out of this one," Diantha frowned at her.

"Focus Energy Blaziken and use Quick Attack!" May exclaimed.

Blaziken flexed its muscles as it got enveloped in a red aura. Relying on its energy it saw through the mist and identified Gardevoir's position. The Blaze Pokémon jetted off so fast that the wind it built up moved away some of the mist.

"Stop it with Psychic," Diantha made a fist.

"Gar," Gardevoir's eyes began to glow.

"Not so fast, Stone Edge Blaziken!" May made a fist as well.

As Blaziken charged forward it summoned stones of the same kind as Salamence. Before he could reach Gardevoir he sent the stones aiming right at the Psychic-type. Diantha's eyes grew, having gotten caught off guard by the surprise move. "Gardevoir use Psychic on the Stone Edge instead!"

Gardevoir's focus turned to the stones and once it had control over them it got ordered to send them back. The Stone Edge shot at Blaziken like bullets it wasn't something May and Blaziken couldn't handle. "Shatter them with Power-Up Punch," May smiled mischievously.

Blaziken forgot about its Quick Attack and transitioned to using its glowing blue fists. When it saw the incoming Stone Edge it began to punch through them like a boxer practicing with a punching bag. The more punches Blaziken delivered the more intense the fires on its wrists got.

"May is really heating things up," Ash watched with curiosity.

"Thunderbolt!" Diantha spread her arms out.

"Huh?" May got caught off guard and Blaziken's eyes widened.

Just after finishing bashing through Stone Edge, Blaziken faced the electric sensation of Thunderbolt. Gardevoir unleashed the fierce Electric-type move and shocked Blaziken to its very core.

"Blaaaaaaaz!" Blaziken cried out in pain.

"Take advantage of its paralyzed state to use Psychic," Diantha commanded. Gardevoir did just that. Before Blaziken could recover from the shock it found its body outlined in blue energy. Then without warning it got sent flying against a wall, leaving a trace of its body.

"Blaziken!" May gasped.

Diantha motioned her hand to the left and Blaziken was thrown against the wall left of her. The Fighting-type left a trace of its body there as well, leaving rubble everywhere it was slammed against. Diantha raised her hand up as a way of telling Gardevoir to send Blaziken up, slamming the Fire-type against the metallic ceiling. The champion then motioned her hand down.

"Blaziken ease your crash with Flamethrower!" May demanded, but her Blaziken appeared to do nothing except take the blows.

"It's no use May, as Mega Gardevoir, Gardevoir has absolute control of Blaziken's body. With Psychic we control every way it functions, tricky to get around isn't it?" Diantha chuckled.

Blaziken got slammed against the earth, leaving a trace of its body in the ground as well. Gardevoir's aggression continued with Blaziken being slammed in every spot around the battlefield until it appeared to be battered and beaten. May was left completely powerless against the might of Mega Gardevoir.

Many were cheering for Diantha's upcoming victory but just as many were silent over May's loss, especially Ash. He wish he could have May hear his voice, he wish his encouragement could reach her, but with all the yelling and the fact that May can't even remember him won't help right now. All he could think wasc'mon May think of something.

Gardevoir had Blaziken hovering just above the ground. Diantha and her Pokémon took a look at the exhausted Fighting-type then sighed. Diantha flicked her hand, and then Gardevoir threw Blaziken away like garbage, freeing it from Psychic. "Finish this with Psyshock," Diantha closed her eyes.

"Gardevoir," Gardevoir charged up the move and fired as Blaziken flied in the air.

"Blaziken get it together. We've been through so much, we can't let them win. We're a dynamic duo; when we're battling together we never lose. I've raised you since you were a little Torchic; I know you can win this for us!" May tried to get Blaziken to regain its composure.

"Blaz," Blaziken eyed the incoming Psyshock weakly. He couldn't find the will to fight back after the sudden beat down.

"Blaziken, you're the strongest Pokémon I know. Don't let some Gardevoir beat you, if we can beat a Milotic, a Dragonite, and even a Darkrai then there's no one we can lose! I believe in you, remember what I always tell you when we get stuck in a corner!" May shouted. The brunette's pleas began to make her fans sweat out of nervousness as Psyshock closed in.

May no, you can win I know it! Ash clenched his fists.

Blaziken took deep breaths as it prepared to take on Psyshock. It was ready to give in until May's voice pierced his ears with a reminder, "Blaziken I know you have goals set for you, you've proven it countless times. Look at this as one of those goals. Look at what's possible and then surpass the boundaries!"

Surpass rang like an alarm in Mega Blaziken's mind then it remembered its battles against a Sceptile, a Roserade, and countless other formidable opponents. Abruptly, the fire on its wrists began to intensify and an intense red energy covered its entire body.

"Blaziken!" Blaziken unleashed Flamethrower.

"What?" Diantha raised an eyebrow.

The fire shot through Psyshock like nothing and then scorched through Gardevoir, making it squeal in pain. "I figured it would be over by now, guess not. Gardevoir disperse that fire and use Moonblast!" Diantha ordered.

"Gard!" Gardevoir glared then with its psychic powers dispersed the fire. The Psychic-type was covered in scorch marks, but it was nowhere near giving up. The Pokémon charged up Moonblast and in another second released it.

"Fire Blast!" May had a wide grin on her face, not surprised by Blaziken's sudden recovery and will to keep fighting.

"Blaaaaaz!" Blaziken built up Fire Blast in its beak then with enough force built it sent it flying against the Fairy-type move.

The two attacks burst on impact, creating a cloud of smoke. However, Diantha and May quickly continued with their fighting. The series of exchanges were Blaziken attempting to use Blaze Kick on Gardevoir, but the psychic Pokémon dodged with Teleport and used Moonblast only to have Blaziken dodge it. The cycle repeated itself for several moments until May had a trick up her sleeve.

Blaziken used Blaze Kick by doing a horizontal revolution, but Gardevoir easily dodged the move with Teleport. Then once Blaze Kick had missed its mark, Gardevoir reappeared with Moonblast ready to fire. Perfect now instead of dodging we'll…May thought in her head, "Blaziken let's use a vertical Mega Kick!"

"What?" Diantha became surprised by the sudden change in offense.

Just as Gardevoir prepared to fire, the faster Blaziken motioned its body in a vertical position rather than horizontal like before. The Fighting-type's talon began to glow blue and motioned upwards as Blaziken executed a Mega Kick revolution. Unfortunately for Gardevoir, a second before it could fire Moonblast, Blaziken kicked it by its chin and sent the Psychic-type flying while Moonblast fired at the ceiling directly.

"Now Fire Blast!" May made a fist of confidence.

"Ken!" Blaziken took advantage of the moment to fire the kanji-shaped fire move. Within seconds it took down Gardevoir like a sitting duck. The Psychic-type squealed in pain as it fell to the ground.

"Gardevoir, stop your fall!" Diantha demanded.

Hearing its trainer's request the Psychic-type mustered enough of its energy to stop itself from hitting the ground. "Use Thunderbolt!" Diantha frowned.

Gardevoir aggressively cried out its name and fired bolts of electricity. "Watch this," May winked. "Blaziken dodge with our improvised Blaze Kick, let's entertain the audience," May smiled confidently.

Blaziken smirked, knowing exactly what May meant. The moment it saw the Thunderbolt it wasted no time in dodging the move that almost cost him the match. What was odd about the way he avoided it was the way he used Blaze Kick. Blaziken's talons were on fire and even though the Fire-type looked it was walking forward began to slide backwards. After several attempts by Gardevoir's Thunderbolt to take Blaziken down, Diantha had a different approach.

"Control the trajectory," Diantha clenched her fists.

Gardevoir quickly obeyed and fired Thunderbolt again and just as Blaziken dodged it refocused its trajectory. The frustration for Diantha was that somehow Blaziken was still able to dodge. Blaziken continued its amusing trick of sliding backwards while walking in a forward motion. The Fire-type did it so fast that it began to leave trails of fire on the battlefield, causing a problem for Gardevoir.

Every Thunderbolt aimed at Blaziken got nimbly avoided. The crowd applauded, whistled, and cheered for Blaziken's most notable battle and contest trick. "Blaziken using Blaze Kick to leave a trail of fire and it make it appealing, they make it look like an illusion," Ash analyzed Blaziken's footwork. No matter how closely he examined it though he failed to understand the physics behind. Blaziken's talons were moving forward, yet somehow it motioned backwards.

"Pika!" Pikachu snapped Ash out of his train of thought and pointed at something else that was unfolding.

"No way," Ash's eyes grew and became as dumbfounded as everyone else.

The trail the sliding Blaziken left with Blaze Kick not only proved to be astounding in itself, but all the fire it left behind as a trail traced what looked like a Blaziken carved into the floor with fire. It may not have been incredibly detailed, but it had the basic features from head to toe.

May and Diantha looked at the screen and the Kalos Champion gasped at what unfolded. May on the other hand didn't think much of it as Blaziken swiftly dodged Thunderbolt with its tricky Blaze Kick footwork.

Diantha's eyes turned to Gardevoir and could tell the Psychic-type was getting exhausted from using Thunderbolt multiple times and to make matters worse it began to sweat from the intense heat Blaziken had created.

"Stop Gardevoir," Diantha extended her arm out, making the Pokémon stop immediately.

"Looks like the tables have turned Diantha. At this rate Gardevoir will get consumed by the fire," May said and right on cue the height of the flames seemed to increase even if Blaziken had stopped sliding on the battlefield.

If I let that fire remain on the battlefield my Gardevoir will get cremated, Diantha grinded her teeth as she thought of the consequences of letting Mega Blaziken's fire burn. "Gardevoir, use Rain Dance!" Diantha shouted, preparing to end the battle once and for all.

"Gar!" Mega Gardevoir summoned a blue sphere of energy that it quickly shot up into the air.

"Sunny Day!" May threw her arm in the air.

"Blaz!" Blaziken acted fast and shot a red sphere of energy that stopped Rain Dance in its tracks. When the two techniques collided with each other a shower of white sparkles fell over the battlefield, which only augmented the intensity of the flames.

"Darn," Diantha cursed her luck.

"We're more prepared than you give us credit for," May crossed her arms.

"Fine, we'll fight fire with fire. Gardevoir, use Psychic!" Diantha prepared to use the strategy it had nearly beaten Blaziken with.

"Flamethrower!" May instructed. At that instant, Mega Blaziken fired Flamethrower much faster than Gardevoir could concentrate the energy of Psychic. The flames burned the Psychic-type's body and once the flames dispersed it was panting out of pain.

"We may not have had the chance to act fast last time, but you should know that Mega Blaziken's speed is second to none. Even if you used Psychic, our projectile attacks will shoot fast enough to stop Gardevoir. You may also want to know that Blaziken's speed just keeps increasing with each turn thanks to Speed Boost, an ability it has, and most of its fire power stems from its other ability, Blaze. Even its attack power is higher than normal thanks to the Power-Up Punch we had used earlier. Clearly even the stats are against you Diantha," May smirked.

Diantha gritted her teeth and prepared to make her last stand on against her superior opponent. "Gardevoir, fling all the fire Blaziken created with Psychic!" Diantha extended her arm out.

"Dodge," May decided not to stop Psychic this time and Blaziken proceeded to just leaping across the field as Gardevoir tried to control the trajectory of the fire. As strong as Mega Gardevoir was and with all the fire it gathered with Psychic, it still wasn't enough to defeat Blaziken.

The Fire-type jumped and dashed all over the field, nimbly dodging Gardevoir's attack. It even decided to taunt the Fairy-type by using its unique Blaze Kick motion again but this time left no trail of fire.

Time for the grand finale, May grinned. "Spin into our special ultimate attack," May calmly instructed with a smile.

Blaziken grinned confidently as it stopped its dodging and looked on as Gardevoir prepared to redirect the fire again. The Fighting-type dug its talons into the earth then with all the power it had built it began to spin a similar fashion as when the battle had first started. In seconds, Blaziken turned into a red blur, but even more disturbing, after a few more seconds it moved so fast not even its color scheme could be identified. The only thing that indicated its presence was the wind it built up. As Gardevoir directed Blaziken's fire at the Blaze Pokémon, May made the last call, "Blast Burn."

Abruptly, a powerful flame fired out of the position where Blaziken was spinning and in milliseconds took the shape of a twister. Although, this time it was thicker, hotter, and stronger. Rays of fire shot out of the Blast Burn tornado like Thunderbolt and just as Gardevoir's fire came into contact with Blast Burn; it seemed to be sucked into the twister, only enhancing its power.

"Suck it in!" May commanded.

The Blast Burn grew more intense as Blaziken spun faster from the inside. Red static began to envelope the tornado and the power became so immense that it started to suck in Gardevoir. "Gardevoir hold on, try to control the fire with Psychic!" Diantha ordered.

Just as Gardevoir prepared to fight back a bolt of fire shot at the Fairy-type and made it squeal in pain. Diantha's eyes widened as the Blast Burn sucked in Gardevoir during its moment of weakness.

Now inside the Blast Burn twister were Mega Blaziken and Mega Gardevoir. Mega Gardevoir eyed the spinning Mega Blaziken weakly. It observed the fiery red storm inside the tornado and submitted to its demise. Mega Blaziken took a second to stop its spinning, but despite stopping the twister remained present.

Blast Burn inflicted heavy damage to Gardevoir with every moment it was in the twister and Blaziken prepared to deliver the final blow. Mustering the required strength, Blaziken got enveloped in an intense red aura. In moments the aura developed red static similar to Blast Burn and then Blaziken launched itself at Mega Gardevoir. Mega Blaziken struck right through the Psychic/Fairy-type Pokémon with the combined power of Blast Burn and Flare Blitz. As Blaziken burst out of the twister, leaving Gardevoir scorched, the tower of Blast Burn lost stability and burst, burning everything that had gotten inside. Gardevoir, no longer Mega Gardevoir, flew out of the tornado with swirl eyes.

"Gardevoir is unable to battle; therefore, the victor is May and Blaziken!" the referee declared.

At that moment Kalos remained silent, not sure how to respond to the outcome. Even Ash and Pikachu were left speechless; did she just beat a champion? Ash kept thinking in his head as he tried to tie the situation together.

"Um wow," the host could barely say anything as he straightened his tie.

"We won Blaziken, I knew you could do it," May smiled at Blaziken, who looked back at her and gave her a thumbs up. Even after all the injuries and scorch marks, Blaziken still managed to flash its cool grin.

Diantha quietly returned Gardevoir, thanking it for its efforts. Then her attention turned to May. The woman smiled and began to clap as she walked over to the host. As she clapped, bit by bit, so did the rest of the audience. Diantha silently took the microphone from the host and spoke, "Let's give a cheer for May, the winner of the match and technically the strongest trainer in Kalos!"

At that moment rounds of clapping erupted. Roses were thrown onto to the battlefield, whistling created a great deal of noise, compliments were thrown as much as roses. "Way to go May, you were awesome! We knew you could do it!" Ash futilely yelled to get May's attention.

"Pikachu pi!" Pikachu cheered alongside the boy.

The two then looked at each other with grins. "Well Pikachu, looks like May's just reached a whole new level with this win. She sure has come a long way," Ash's eyes turned from Pikachu to May as he tried to picture that same young woman as the young traveler he met years ago, but clearly things had changed.

May sighed and smiled sheepishly as she waved at the people, "Thank you thank you, I love you guys," the girl smiled guiltily.

Her eyes met with Diantha's and the champion winked at her, making May chuckle uneasily. She had wanted to win, May had goals for herself and she always wanted to come on top, but now that the excitement had passed, reality sunk in. This victory is going to be on every newspaper…can't say if that's good or not, the girl thought nervously in her mind about what the media would write this time.

May exited the Prism Tower with her agents and got received by a large crowd of cheering fans, which was of little surprise. Many of them congratulated her over her victory and flapped banners, bandanas, and whistled as ways of praising her. Among the large crowd an excited auburn-eyed boy was pushing through the crowd.

"Excuse me, coming through. Sorry I'm in a hurry," Ash squeezed through every thick and thin person blocking him from the walkway.

Many of them got a bit annoyed with Ash but let him pass. The raven-haired boy was rushing as fast as possible to get a sight of May and hopefully get a second shot at trying to talk to the girl.

As the boy pushed through May found herself in a world of problems. Unfortunately, among all the fans were a bunch of reporters and people who represented the media. The brunette sighed as she peacefully walked, waving and thanking everyone for their undying support, "Thank you so much, I really appreciate it! I love you too!"

May's statements were cut short though when a reporter got near. "Excuse me May, this is unrelated to the event but, why are you always at hospitals and Pokémon shelters?" the reporter questioned curiously.

"What's wrong with that?" May kept walking, not bothering to even look at the reporter.

"You receive criticism for canceling performances in order to go to shelters and hospitals. Some think you should be more dedicated to your work, but you make priorities out of other things," the reporter responded.

"My life isn't just about performing for your information. People often don't see that wants tend to outweigh the needs, but I do and I choose to help those in need whenever I get the chance. If I could choose between a home and seeing someone perform, I'd choose the home because I know I need a place to live under. I visit as many hospitals and orphanages as I do performances, so I'm not forgetting about my fans or the needy. I'm a fair person, yet some people just always stare at the half empty glass," May got annoyed with the ridiculous topic she was being brought into. There was no doubt the criticism came from the media itself in an attempt to sell.

"May what do you have to say about the stuff talked about you in the tabloids. I hear rumors that your drug addiction was the real culprit behind the faint you had some time ago," the reporter got her microphone close to May's lips.

May scowled at the woman then with a very sharp tone answered, "Just because you read it in a magazine or see it on the TV screen doesn't make it factual." The reporters stepped back a bit out of fear that the coordinator might lose it.

"Pardon me; I have to see a friend. Sorry, I'm in a hurry," Ash excused himself as he kept pushing through. He was nearly at the walkway and closer he got the more nervous he became, he wasn't sure what to expect this time. I hope I can get some answers this time, Ash wondered in his mind as he and Pikachu squeezed past a few more people.

"Almost there," Ash looked at his friend and the two pushed through together. Then once at the end where the walkway was in view, the boy shouted, "May!" He saw May standing just a few feet away but she didn't turn around to look at him; instead it looked like she was busy in an argument with some reporters.

"I fainted because of the stress you people put me through. The stuff you write, the accusations you make. It's sickening!" May spat at a third reporter who had appeared.

"Maybe it's because you're a brat and your bizarre behavior gives the impression that you are doing things you shouldn't be doing at such a young age," the third obnoxious reporter waved his finger back and forth.

"I'm 18," May gritted her teeth.

"Are you saying that you do mess around with boys and certain substances?" the reporter chuckled.

"That's not the point!" May was tempted to grab him by the collar and slap some sense into him, but with all the eyes aiming at her she decided not to.

"One point for CBS, zero for May," the reporter smirked at her.

"You're so damn disrespectful." May swiftly turned her head around to keep walking. Her anger blinded her from seeing Ash and Pikachu, who were taken back by all the arguing they had witnessed.

Ash wasn't sure if he should pull her by the arm to make her notice him, but then again now doesn't seem like the best time, the raven-haired boy thought as he watched his friend walk by him with an annoyed expression.

"Such an aggressive little brat," the reporter stated to his colleagues.

The comment reached May's ears and turned her head around. Her sweet and caring sapphire eyes were replaced by vicious and furious eyes. Her glare suggested that was about to rip the reporter apart. May seemed so frustrated that she was even sweating a little as her eyes pierced into the reporter's. "You only focus on antagonizing because you think bad news sells and good news doesn't. I wasn't born to make money for people, especially for people of your kind," May spoke with a very cold voice.

"Hey you're the one committing the actions, we just discover them. Tell us this May, why are you stressed, what could a celebrity be sad about with so much money and power at her hands. Couldn't you simply silence us with your mighty Blaziken? Don't you feel like the problem isn't us? May be the problem is you," the reporter pointed his finger at her.

May clenched her fists and grinded her teeth. She was at the brink of crying, she wasn't even sure how to respond anymore. "Just leave me alone," May said with a low tone as she turned.

"May!" Ash could easily tell the sadness on her face and tried to call for her attention, but all the booing overwhelmed his call.

May's fans began to throw paper balls, food, and drinks at the reporter who had challenged May, but he was only chuckling. As May walked down even more reporters approached with concerns over her sudden outburst. "May, May, May!" the word kept repeating itself among the reporters as May clinched her eyes shut in an attempt to get them to go away.

"May, we have a question about the Manizer claims," a female reporter grabbed her by the arm.

At that moment, May violently pulled her arm away as the agents quickly mobilized to protect her. "Just stop pressuring me. I'm sick of it! Stop effing with me!" May angrily answered.

"Excuse me?" the reporter's eyes grew. The other reporters and even people in the crowd got shocked by May nearly dropping the f-bomb. Even Ash who had heard it loud and clear got caught by surprise. Other people erupted with support and praised May for aggressive stand against the reporters.

"Just stop doggin' me around!" May looked away from the reporter. As she prepared to enter her vehicle someone else decided to take a shot at May.

"Manizer!" the insult got thrown in the air, causing many to turn their heads to the source. May's angry got the best of her and in response raised the notorious middle finger. Without another word she got in then took off.

As some people around Ash tried to understand what just happened and others began to argue amongst each other, the boy and his Pikachu popped out of the crowd. No May, you can't let this be happening to you, Ash thought as he ran in the direction of the limo in a foolish attempt to catch up with it.

Pikachu ran alongside him and together the pair ran at full speed, but it was starting to become clear that it was no use. May's limo disappeared into the night while Ash dropped on his knees and began panting.

"Pikachu," Pikachu lowered his ears as he stared down the empty street.

"Everything that just happened…I'm starting to understand now," Ash said with his eyes staring at the concrete. May, please be ok, Ash placed his palms on the cement floor.

Images of May's frustrated voice came to his mind. The words of the reporters ganging up on her also rang in his head. The picture suddenly became a bit clearer to Ash; he had found a cause for May's irritation.

"Pi pika," Pikachu tapped Ash's arm gently.

"This isn't right Pikachu. Something is very wrong with all this and it is really bugging me. We can't just stop here and let May continue living like that, we are her friends. We aren't going to leave her," Ash stood up with a stern face. When Pikachu analyzed his face, the mouse knew his friend was serious. The only time he had seen his trainer get this serious about something was when they stood on top of the Prism Tower in order to help a Garchomp after arriving in Kalos. That same determined attitude glowed in his eyes now.

Ash grabbed a Pokéball and without a word threw it. From the ball emerged Ash's strongest Pokémon. The Fire-type roared at the sky and spread its wings with a prideful attitude. He sensed the emotion Ash was feeling. Charizard released a Flamethrower aiming for the sky then nodded at his two dearest friends.

"Time to fly Charizard," Ash smiled confidently while pulling down the brim of his hat. Charizard once more, then Ash and Pikachu got on the dragon-like Pokémon.

"Head this way and follow a limo when you see it," Ash pointed in the direction the limo had gone. Charizard gently took off the ground then with its great power flew at an amazing speed.

It only took a few minutes for Ash's Charizard to catch up with the vehicle. "Look down below," Ash spotted the car as it left the city. The auburn-eyed trainer and his Pokémon quietly flied over the automobile as they followed it.

"I'm guessing May has a home outside the city?" Ash spoke to his friends, who agreed.

As they flew deeper into remote areas, there was one odd thing that stood out among all the trees. "Look over there," Ash pointed. Among the forest appeared a very fancy-looking mansion with a large perimeter.

The trainer looked down to see that the limo was entering through a gate. "Charizard, land just outside this gate, I have a feeling security will be tight if we just sweep in," Ash suggested.

Charizard obediently started to descend whilst Ash and Pikachu focused their eyes on May's car. They landed among the dense trees that were several feet away from the gate. By the time Ash got off Charizard the gate was closing. "I knew it," Ash mumbled when he saw the men standing by the gate. Pikachu shook its head in agreement. "Getting in won't be easy. Good thing we have just the right Pokémon for this," Ash smiled at his friends as he took out another Pokéball.

Bushes and trees began to rustle around the observant bodyguards. "Did you hear that?" the agent spoke with concern to his partner.

"I did, let's go check it out. May would not be happy if she discovered paparazzi all the way out here," the other agent answered.

The pair then ran into forest without knowing the mess they'd be getting themselves into. Once they were gone Ash, Pikachu, and Sceptile came out. "Well that was easier than I thought," Ash placed his hands behind his head and laughed.

"Pi pikachu," Pikachu reminded the boy that now wasn't the time to relax.

"Right," Ash's face became serious again and nodded. His eyes turned to the gate and tall fence blocking them from entering May's property. "We can't risk just climbing over it. I've seen in movies that these things activate an alarm or something," Ash placed his hands on his waist.

"Scep," Sceptile suggested with a cool grin.

"That's just what I was thinking Sceptile," Ash nodded. Pikachu and Ash stood near the gecko Pokémon and the Grass-type grabbed both of them with each arm. "Tile!" Sceptile mustered all the strength in its muscles and jumped over the gate with Ash and Pikachu.

Once they landed on the other side, the Grass-type let them go. "Sceptile," Sceptile crossed his arms arrogantly.

"Piece of cake," Ash smiled confidently as he looked back at the gate.

"Did you hear something?" a man's voice stated.

Ash and his two Pokémon quickly threw themselves behind a thick and rather large bush that just happened to be there. The boy placed a finger over his lips to indicate that they had to be real quiet. They peeked through the bush and saw several agents standing by the gate. "Where did Blade and Slade go?" an agent noticed that the agents guarding the gate were gone.

"Probably spotted a blasted paparazzo that must have been what we heard. Come on, let's get back to our spots," another agent ordered, causing them all to split up again.

"We'll have to be real quiet if we want to avoid any trouble. Obviously May has a lot of security in this place," Ash told his two friends.

"Pikachu pika," Pikachu pointed at what appeared to be the front entrance just a distance away.

"That's probably the main entrance. We can't afford to take that entrance though, it wouldn't be very subtle and we'd most likely alert someone," Ash told his partner. "We'll have to find a back entrance, follow me," Ash began to quietly move.

As they moved through May's property the three companions narrowly avoided the sights of multiple agents. If it had hadn't been for Sceptile or Pikachu's clever tricks and speed Ash would've easily been spotted. At one point Sceptile took the drastic measure of knocking a guard out with Leaf Blade, much to Ash's annoyance but knew there was no time for arguing.

Once they made a turn to reach the back of house they discovered a pool and many beautiful statues that served as fountains as well as decorative plants lying around. "How can May afford all this?" Ash murmured as they sneaked through the back.

"Agent K, we've received reports that several knocked out guards were found outside the perimeter, please mobilize there quickly," a man's voice informed.

The trio instantly hid behind a statue to avoid the man they had failed to spot earlier. Luckily the darkness had been a good ally and the agent passed right by them. "Phew," Ash wiped away the little sweat that formed on his forehead.

"Pi pika," Pikachu pulled on Ash's jeans then pointed at a balcony.

"Huh?" Ash looked up to see what appeared to be the shadow of girl in the curtains. The auburn-eyed boy smiled at his little friend, "Good job Pikachu, you found May's room."

"Pikachu pi," Pikachu grinned back.

"Gren," a call caught the trio's attention. Ash turned around to see Greninja in a ninja stance.

Ash grinned at his powerful Water-type, "Greninja, great job on distracting the guards at the gate and the other guards wandering around. Although we did hear you knocked several out," Ash sighed, but then smiled again.

"Ninja," Greninja nodded as Ash returned it to its ball, thanking it once more for its job.

After Ash put the Pokéball away he turned to the balcony. "Now we just need to get on that balcony," the boy said, his eyes motioning to Sceptile.

"Scep," Sceptile knew what Ash required. The Hoenn Pokémon grabbed his two friends once more, and then with its great strength leaped upward. In a second they were standing on May's balcony.

"Awesome job guys," Ash smiled at his partners. Then out of joy he turned the handle on the balcony door only to discover that it was locked. "Well that wasn't expected," Ash moved his hand away and scratched his cheek.

"Tile scep," Sceptile told Ash to stand back.

"What are you going to do Sceptile?" Ash raised an eyebrow.

"Sceptile," Sceptile raised one of its claws, making it shine under the moon. The Grass-type then inserted its claw into the keyhole. After a few tweaks with the lock, Sceptile pulled his claw out. "Tile," Sceptile gave Ash the go.

Impressed with Sceptile's work, Ash smiled thankfully. When the Pallet boy grabbed the handle he gulped a bit. "Well here goes nothing," Ash whispered to himself. The boy turned the handle and entered the room with his Pokémon.

What he saw alarmed him instantly. He saw May raise her head slowly. The girl had pink eyes, there were tears on her cheeks, and tissues were lying around. "Ash?" May asked him with a surprised expression.

This is clearly the longest chapter so far, but I hope it wasn't too much of a burden to read through all of it. I hope you guys enjoyed the battle, for those of you who read it! Nevertheless, I hope you liked it. This chapter clearly has its moments, especially with May cursing, but this is the only time throughout the whole story someone curses so for those who did not like it, rest assured it won't happen. I just included it because if I had May lose her temper like that then you may understand just how annoyed she feels. I've always wondered if they curse behind the scenes in the Pokémon world, but then again it's a silly thought. Anyway, enough of me, not much else to say about this chapter except this the point Ash and May truly start to hit it off. AS ALWAYS REMEMBER TO REVIEW, PM, ETC, FEEDBACK IS GREATLY APPRECIATED GUYS! I'll have chapter 12 up sometime later. Till then guys, take care!
