It had taken a while to explain her week in Norway but eventually everyone understood that their sister/daughter was pregnant by an Asgardian. George was the first to congratulate her, bringing her to tears, after learning about it she had worried about his reaction the most.

April Fool's Day brought about a huge party held at the Burrow, members of the extend family, as they were considered, all there to celebrate Teddy turning 2 and George 22, while also remembering the quartet who should have been there, Fred, Remus, Tonks and her father Ted.

Mia had done her rounds before doing as she had the previous year. Taking a meal, she apparated to the cemetery, very grateful for Molly's potion and pregnancy expertise as she remained puke free, and went to sit by the well maintained grave, "Hey Fred, just me."

Leaning against the headstone, the brunette looked to the sky and rubbed her bump, "You brought Loki to me, I know you did, sneaky sod that you are. But now I'm pregnant with no way of telling him, no clue as to when he'll be back, or if the lockets even work at this distance. I could really use you now, always were there for me to talk things over with. I think I'll always love you but Loki, only here a week and I could feel that same burn in my soul I felt with you."

Obviously not going to get a response, Mia got comfortable and closed her eyes to replay her stored away memories. Of course, closing your eyes and getting comfortable, no matter where, leaves you open to the risk of falling asleep. Before she realised it, that's exactly what happened.

Mia 'woke' under the beech tree and her heart almost stopped, "Fred?"

"Hello there sleepy head," Fred said longingly, holding her tight to him after she had launched herself at him, "Gods I've missed you baby."

The tears were openly falling from both of their eyes, "I love you so much, I don't care that this is just a dream."

"I love you too but this is more than a dream," sitting with her, the man sighed, "We don't have long, a lot of people pulled every remaining string they had to get me here. I will always love you but you have to understand and accept that you can love others, you can't be afraid to love with all of your heart again. Your twins are going to need you to be strong, it's going to be a while before Loki comes back, not even Frigga could change Odin's mind at the moment. Remember, you have people who will need you to live in the present, not grieving for the past or longing for the future. Things will only move as fast as the Fates allow it, don't go trying to speed them up."

"You said twins," golden brown eyes shone with love and shock, "I'm having twins?"

Fred nodded, placing a hand over her growing children, "You're going to be a great mum Mia, for both your son and daughter."

Her hand joined his, "We should have had a chance of our own."

"One of many regrets I had to put aside, would have gone mental otherwise," sensing their time was coming to an end, he rose with her, "One thing I've missed though."

Knowing what that was, Mia grinned and their lips connected, making the kisses enough to last a lifetime and allowed them both the goodbyes they were denied. When she woke in the cemetery, it was to still tingling lips and a soul that was much freer and clearer than it had been for 2 years. Arriving back at the Burrow, a plan was forming and must have shown on her face because George groaned as he came to hug her, "I better not end up with a busted eardrum again Mione."

"I couldn't let my twins' Uncle George go through that again," holding her friend tightly, she spoke into his only ear, "Fred came to my dream."

"Wondered how long it would take, visited me a few months ago," George admitted with a blush, "So, twins hey? That's awesome, Mum's first set, she'll go batty with the knitting."

"Yes but Gred," using his 'twin' name, she gained his full attention, "We said goodbye and he told me I have to live in the present, Loki's going to be a while still. This will always be my home but I can't stay here, not with Loki's son and daughter and feeling the burn again, even if Fred would be ok with me moving on I can't do that."

"Hey, you don't need to tell me, I'll back you all the way but," turning his taller sister's head so they were looking at Molly playing with Victoire, "We're going to need all family back-up before facing Grandma Molly."

Mia nodded as she gulped, "Oh yeah."

"Before that though, where are you escaping to exactly?"

A large grin came to her face as she answered, "Malibu, California."
