Well lookie here! Another update and somewhat quick too! Thanks for all the continued support; it means so much to me. After reading this chapter I want to know one thing; are you uncomfortable yet ;)

Steven sat in the grass, smiling as he watched Aiden do random cartwheels. They'd only been waiting for twenty minutes and Aiden seemed content to just play in the grass so he was in no hurry. He watched his son, love swelling in his chest as he watched the little boy smile and chase a butterfly. He adored his son; there was no denying that. Aiden was his reason for trying to succeed in life. As he watched his son crouch down, he idly wondered if he could love Bianca's daughters the same way he loved Aiden. They were cute kids, that was for sure. They looked so much like their beautiful mother, dark eyes, dark hair, and smiles that lit up his day. As he remembered the way he'd heard the oldest chattering on in the grocery store and the adorable look of concentration on the little one's face, he realized he could love them the way he loved Aiden.

"Hey Miranda!" he glanced up in time to see Bianca and the girls approaching. He leaned back on his hands, smiling in a friendly manner as Aiden darted toward them. He tilted his head, watching the way Bianca interacted with Aiden so naturally before handing the boy a small bag and the four of them made their way toward him. As he watched them, his breath caught in his throat; it was perfect. Bianca and the kids….hopefully one day their kids, walking toward him with bright smiles.

"Well hello ladies!" he greeted leaning forward and up onto his knees to grab a few bags.

Bianca smiled gently when Gabby waved shyly and sat down right beside Miranda. It didn't take long for them all to get into the project, Miranda telling Aiden random facts and Aiden debating her on those facts. It was cute; the little boy almost reminded her of AJ. The thought of the blond little boy sent a pang through her heart. She missed him more than she thought she could miss someone else's child. She felt a poke in her arm and turned to see Steven watching her, pencil in his hand ready to poke her again.

"You okay?" he asked quietly. The children weren't paying any attention, too busy drawing random dinosaurs on the construction paper. She smiled tightly,

"Just missing the rest of my family." She said and turned back to focus on the kids. She missed the slight frown on Steven's face.

"Well hello," Marissa answered the phone tiredly that night. She heard what sounded like Bianca's breathe hitching but the woman spoke before she could dwell on it.

"Did I wake you? I'm so sorry." Bianca sounded so sincerely apologetic that Marissa couldn't help but smile.

"No, no," she said yawning and sitting up. "It's fine. I've missed you." She said softly. Bianca was quiet for a moment,

"I've missed you too." She admitted softly. "Today, I was helping Mimo and Aiden with a project and I thought about how much he reminded me of AJ. Then I thought of you." Bianca said, her voice bordering on being wistful. Marissa couldn't help the smile that almost overtook her face as she pulled the pillow to her chest.

"We'll be there this weekend." She said her voice just as quiet. She didn't know why they were talking so softly, but it felt right so she wasn't going to question it.

"I know, I can't wait." Bianca said. Marissa could imagine that little smile on Bianca's face, the one that always drove her crazy. "Though I'll admit, I'll be a horrible tour guide because I haven't been out all that much." Bianca added. Marissa snorted.

"We're not coming to see Atlanta, we're coming to see you and the girls." She said bluntly. "Besides; I've got a few extra days off. Maybe I could book a hotel and we could explore together?" she asked hopefully.

"Absolutely not." Bianca said without hesitation and Marissa felt her heart drop. "You can just stay here with me and the girls." She said. Marissa closed her eyes, willing her heart to slow down. She could imagine that little grin on Bianca's face and she wanted to be there and kiss it off.

"I don't want to be a bother. I can book a hotel, it's no problem." She tried. Bianca scoffed.

"You wouldn't be a bother; we'd be happy to have you." She said. Marissa almost retorted with an 'I wish you'd be happy to have me.' But she managed to control herself. "Unless you'd rather sta-"

"Nope. You've invited me and now you've got to deal with me." She said with a grin. Bianca chuckled. "So, tell me everything about your week so far." She said settling in for what she hoped was a long conversation.

Bianca rubbed her forehead as she waited for the train to approach; she felt oddly exhausted. Then again, she'd been on the phone with Marissa until four that morning so it was well worth it. Thinking about the redhead brought a bright smile to her face and she stepped onto the train when it finally arrived. She didn't even bother to hide her annoyance at some of the people shoving her.

"Wait!" she heard over the loud sounds of the station. She glanced up with a frown, wondering idly why the doors were taking extra long to close. Finally, a panting body practically threw itself into the car and leaned against the far wall. She smiled to herself, shaking her head and moved a little closer.

"There are some seats in the back of the car." She said and watched as Steven's head snapped up in surprise.

"Bianca! Hey!" he said happily.

Steven really didn't want to even think about being late to work; he was just a substitute after all. It's not like he had the actual job security of knowing he could call in so he ran as fast as he could when he heard the train approaching. He barely made it down the stairs before he had to call out to the operator who still had her head out the window looking for passengers. The woman offered him an annoyed look and he just flung himself inside before she could close the doors. It wasn't until he heard Bianca's voice did he realize that fate had been on his side. She led him back to the seats and he glared at anyone who wouldn't move out of her way.

"Thanks." He said once they were seated. Bianca smiled at him, facing forward and clutching her purse to her lap tightly so it wouldn't fall from the jerky train movements. He smiled himself, turning to look at the window. He was more than happy when they entered a tunnel because it gave him a chance to study Bianca's reflection without her really noticing. He could only see the side of her face but he couldn't help but internally comment on her beauty.

Bianca felt uncomfortable for some reason; like someone was watching her. She glanced around the car with a confused frown but no one was paying her any attention. She just sighed, shaking her head. Now she was being paranoid. When her stop came up, she stood and almost jumped when she felt Steven's hand brush her arm.

"Sorry." He said ducking his head. She shook her head.

"No, no it's fine." She assured him, all but running from the car. She was so intent on getting to her destination that she didn't even bother to offer him a goodbye nor did she see the heartbroken look on his face when she exited the car.

Steven sighed sadly when Bianca all but ran from him and made his way to the elevator. He didn't have time to analyze that right now; he needed to be at work soon.
