chapter Ten
I wish you harm
Summary: Max's is a threat

"How's mommy and daddy?" Max asked as he pinned Eddward to the empty gym wall. The raven haired teen glared quietly at the larger teen. "Where's my replacement?" Max asked jealousy rich in his voice. Now that his goons were nowhere in sight the blondes lips were a bit looser on the subject of their past relationship. Eddward rolled his blue eyes in response.
"Jealousy isn't your best quality, Max." The said teen beamed. A weird smile decorating his face as he tightened his grip on Eddward's wrist and brought them over the smaller teens head.
"Don't make me jealous then." It sounded like a demand to Eddward and he wasn't to keen on being demanded to do anything.
"Kevin is a much better man than you." Eddward wasn't lying. Kevin was. The snide comment earned him a growl following a rough mashing of lips against his. Eddward fought viciously against Max hopping he could wiggle free. Once Max removed his lips Eddward spat the remains of the kiss back into the blond's face. Max joined Eddward's wrist into one hand before wiping the spit off his face.
"Cute." Max said anger evident in his voice. The blonde laughed bitterly before punching Eddward in the lips and causing him to hit his head harshly on the brick wall behind him. Ringing erupted in the brunettes ears and his vision began to blur. The sock head teen slowly lost balance and was ushered to the floor by his attacker. Eddward could fill the blood trickle down his neck. Max loomed over the smaller teen. A smile still plastered on his face. The larger teen slipped a wandering hand up Eddward's shirt. Panic began to surge through the teens body. His head was spinning way too fast to move, Max could do whatever he pleased, and no one would be coming to the gym for another hour. Eddward put his hands up and pushed again. His arms weakly shook and dropped to his side and his eyes shut hard. The more he moved the worse he felt. Nausea settled into Eddward's stomach and when the teen attempted to express the urgency of his injury he found he could only groan out the blonde teens name.
"What?" Max answered while he waited patiently for Eddward to finish as he ran his hands all over the small teens body. "Should I finish what we started?" Eddward shot his eyes open and tried harder to fight. Max held the teen down and began to undo the sock clad teens pants. Eddward felt like he hand no control over his body. the more he fought the less strength he had until Max easily swatted his hands away. roughly the blonde removed his victims pants.
"I don't think you need these." Max announced as he leaned over Eddward and once again pinned his arms above his head. The large teen used his free hand to undo his own pants. Eddward let the panic he felt slip onto his face as he began to cry.
"P-p-please?" Eddward managed out to the blonde. Max dropped his smile and wiped some of the tears off of the small teens face. Eddward could almost see a moment of clarity on Max's face. The blonde wasn't sure what he was doing at this point. quickly the large teen stood up and zipped his pants up. He looked down at his handy work. Eddward laid unable to move covered in blood wearing nothing but his underwear. The blonde ran his fingers through his hair and quickly walked away.
Marie sighed and opened the gym door. She scanned the outside one last time before slipping in. It was thursday and Marie always ditched homeroom on thursdays. It was her thing. and normally Marie's thing evolved her taking the rest of the day off and heading down to the creek to draw in her sketch pad, but today she had forgotten her art supplies. So the blue haired girl was currently sneaking back into the school she had become an expert at leaving, but coming back? not so much. The gym was dark as Marie walked casually through. Her art flooding her brain more than her surroundings.
"M-marie.." The voice sounded weak but she heard it all the same and in a flurry she spun around to see who had her name on their lips.
"Edd?" Marie asked as she let her eyes focus on the mess of a teen laying a skew on the gym floor. "What the fuck?" Eddward smiled softly as she jogged over. "What the fuck?" The blue hair teen dropped to her knees and pulled her phone out of her packet. Marie slipped a comforting hand into Eddward's as she talked vigorously to 911. As soon as she hung up she sighed and sat on her butt.
"Helps coming boyfriend." Eddward giggled slightly at the term. Marie looked Eddward over and sighed before dialing another number in her phone. The bloodied teen on the floor eyed the girl in confusion.
"I'm calling Kevin." She answered with an eye roll. Eddward shut his eyes and let more tears slip down his face as he mouthed thank you. Seconds later both Marie and Eddward exchanged surprised expressions. Kevin's ringtone polluted the airwaves and it was coming from outside of the gym.
"Who's that?" Nazz's voice asked from just outside the double doors. Marie would have answered but right now she was focused on Eddward and the amount of blood that began to halo around his head. "It's...uh...Marie?" Kevin answered with a bewildered tone in his voice. The said blue haired teen held the phone absentmindedly to her ear as she slowly reached out for Eddward's sock hat. Kevin finally answered the phone and in echo heard Marie.
"I'm gonna take off your hat." Kevin and Nazz both eyed the gym doors in confusion. Marie had forgotten about the phone glued to her ear. she silently began to panic. "Edd, That's a lot of blood." Kevin and Nazz exchanged looks before both rammed the gym doors open and switched on the lights. Eddward sucked air in through his lips and hissed in pain. He squeezed Marie's hand tighter and the blue haired teen ran her fingers across the brunettes scared forehead.
"It's okay. Kevin's here." She comforted. Nazz and Kevin fell at the teens otherside. Eddward let his blue eyes fall onto Kevin and a smile grace his bruised and swollen lips. Kevin could clearly make out a split in his lips.
"Marie, what happened?" Nazz asked as she surveyed the blood. Marie shook her head in response.
"I don't know. I was just coming to nab my things." The blue haired teen sat in deep thought before it dawned on her. Kevin looked up to her the same realization flooding his mind. Both Marie and Kevin frowned before stating the same one word.
"Max…" Marie paused and quickly stood up untangling her hand from Eddward's and stuffing his hat in her back pocket. she was rushed now and quickly plucked a bobby pin from her hair and crammed it into the lock leading to the gym equipment.
"Kevin, he needs you." Marie remarked slightly distracted as she jimmied the lock open. "I'm already busted for ditching." Marie slipped inside and quickly grabbed what she had been searching for. She emerged from the room a bat sat lose on her small shoulders. "See ya later losers." Kevin and Nazz watched Marie walk calmly away in search of her target.
Eddward's eyes fluttered open and pain surged through his head. The teen quickly closed his eyes again trying to will some of the ache to subside. He could feel someone's hand grasping his tightly and a dip in the bed. Eddward's first thought was his mother. And for a minute Eddward's mind told him it was her holding tightly onto him. The teen opened a groggy blue eye and instead was met with Kevin who slept hunched over Edd's Bed.
"Oh right. she's passed." Eddward said out loud as he closed his eye. Nausea filled the teens stomach once again as the memories of Max
overwhelmed him. Eddward swallow the bile that threatened to spill out. After a few deep breaths the raven haired teen felt better. He briefly wondered where his hat was. Slowly the teen shook the hand that Kevin held onto. The redhead shoot up and looked at Eddward in panic and fear. The small teen smiled. It felt nice to have someone worry about his well-being. Kevin let a relieved smile cross his lips.
"Thank fucking god." Kevin whispered while his free hand pushed the nurse button. Nurses flooded the room and a doctor followed suite. After what Eddward thought felt like hours they were finally all done prodding him. Honestly the raven haired teen just wanted to sleep. He had cracked part of his skull and had a small fracture in his neck. Eddward sighed. He was gonna be in the hospital for another two weeks and a cone for another 3 months.
"I thought you digged hospital's?" Kevin asked with a smirk his hand back with Eddward's. The brunette glared and laid back.
"Where's my hat?" Eddward asked as he ran his finger across his scars. He desperately tried to piece together it's location.
"It's in Marie Kanker's back pocket." Eddward smiled. That was right Marie came to his rescue. He mentally took note to thank her. "She lucked out and claimed self defense against Max. I was a good witness." Eddward let confusion drift over him.
"What do you mean?" Kevin smiled and laid his head back down.
"She broke his arm with a bat." Eddward eyed Kevin.
"A-a bat?" Eddward asked. Kevin sat up and nodded his answer.
"She's gonna visit in a day or two." Kevin said after the shock evaporated. Eddward nodded as the pain medication flooded his system. Slowly Eddward turned to his side so he could better look at Kevin. His ability to make logical decisions slowly drifted away. Along with the filter keeping his secrets at bay. Kevin could feel Eddward staring and brought his head up from its spot. The brunette smiled happily and placed a hand on Kevin's lightly freckled face.
"You are so handsome, you know that?" Eddward's drugged mouth slurred out. Kevin smiled and chuckled. " I really, really want you to fuck me." Eddward wasn't very good with any kind of drug. Kevin sat very still a blush stained his face. "Language Eddward." the brunette scolded. Kevin laughed and put his head in his hands.
"Did you just scold yourself?" Eddward sighed his response tiredly.
"I love you so much." Eddward smiled at his own words. " So much Kevin Barr." The said teen smiled.
"I love you too Double Dork." Kevin smiled bigger when a soft snore echoed out. The drugs overcame Eddward. He never heard Kevin's response.
Eddward sighed his eyes still shut as he stirred. It had been a week and it seemed every time the teen fell asleep he awoke to a new guest. The raven haired teen stained his ears while he took guess on who this person could be. He could distinctly hear pencil on paper. Though he didn't recognize how. It scratched and stopped randomly and just as soon as it stopped it started again. Eddward opened an eye and glanced to the source of the sound.
"Hey boyfriend." Marie never looked up from her sketch pad. Eddward smiled excitedly at the blue haired girl.
"Salutations Marie." The blue haired girl smiled as well. Edd let his eyes fall to her head where his trademark sock hat sat. The act didn't go unnoticed to Marie who was instantly in the process of grabbing it.
"You should keep it." Eddward whispered. "It suits you." Marie let her eyes fall onto the bedridden teen. Her hands slowly placed the hat back on top her head.
"Boyfriend?" Eddward rose a brow to the question. "You and Kevin...Are a thing right?" Marie asked quickly. Eddward sighed and looked to the ceiling.
"No." It was the only answer he could muster. The blue haired girl tapped her pencil against her sketch book.
"Can I tell you something?" Eddward sighed again. He wasn't ready for this conversation but nodded anyway.
"I think I'm gay." Marie said with a big breath. Once the sentence left her mouth her shoulders relaxed and she smiled. Eddward laid in bed shocked by her words. That wasn't what he expected her to say.
"I guess we have that in common." Eddward answered with a giggle. Marie smiled and nodded back.
"Hey, I'm sorry about when we were kids. I just wanted to be like my sisters." Eddward smiled kindly at the girl. "I picked you because you were feminine, And it just sorts went out of control." The raven haired teen keep his smile on his face.
"I might have done the same with Nazz." Marie smiled and slumped down in her chair.
"Eddy's so fucking lucky. she's so goddamn hot." Eddward laughed and scooted closer.
"Language Marie." The girl rolled her eyes in response. "Well girlfriend...What are you working on?" Marie smiled and held her portrait of a sleeping Eddward up for him to see. A blush creeped on to his nose.
"It's for Kevin. He got me out of trouble with the poe, poe." She answered when Eddward hadn't answered.
"You are really amazing! What talent!" It was Marie's turn to blush. She eyed her work and smiled proudly.
"You are a hot ass model, so it was easy." Eddward and Marie laughed hysterically for quite awhile.
"Can I really keep the headgear?" Eddward thought for a minute before answering.
"It looks more appropriate on you." Marie nodded her head in thought. She pursed her lips before smiling again.
"Good! cause you look better without it." Eddward giggled and looked at the time before frowning.
"Marie, shouldn't you be in school?" The girl shrugged her shoulders in response before handing Eddward his book and going back to her art.
"It's Thursday." Eddward wasn't quite sure what that meant but he decided he didn't care. He liked the company. The raven haired hat less boy looked to his book while the blue haired sock clad girl sketched away in silence.
"Marie." Eddward began with a smile. "If we were straight we would make a fantastic couple." Marie smiled and looked up from her work.
"To bad." Eddward laughed and began to read his book out loud to the artist.
"I Might have told him I wanted to uhm… copulate with him." Eddward told Marie. His book long forgotten and her sketch book sat in in her lap. "To quote ,and excuse my language, I want you to fuck me." Marie laughed hard as she wrapped her arms around her midsection.
"Oh man, you and drugs are fucking brutal." Marie said in between laughs. Eddward buried his face in his hands and groaned.
"He acts like it didn't happen. He's under the assumption I don't remember my own words." Marie sighed happily and placed her sketch book next to Eddward's lost book.
"I got ya beat...Remember Nora Roslindale?" Eddward sucked in his bruised lips as he thought.
"Auburn hair?" Marie nodded her head and sighed.
"So two years ago my sisters had this party. And you know who was at it? Nora. Well I had been like crushing hard as fuck on the little chickadee. we shared a science class." Marie threw her legs over the arm of the chair. "So Nora is at this party. looking fine as hell in some tight pair of white shorts, And Edd she's flirting...with me...So one thing leads to another and we end up drunk and in her bed." Marie took a breath before she continued. "I had been so goddamn nervous and I thought drinking it away would help. I got little Nora Roslindale pinned naked under me and I'm like about to lose my V-card when the alcohol hit me…" Eddward waited a moment for her to continue. He watched as the blue haired girl slumped into her chair. "I up chucked spaghetti and vodka all over poor Nora Roslindale, I still have my V-card, and she never talked to me again." Eddward let his mouth fall open and close.
"Well...it seems you are victorious my dear Marie." The sock clad girl frowned. she didn't feel victorious. "I just want him." Eddward announced to Marie. It was nice to talk about it. Eddy never brought it up after Edd's little phone confession the brunette teen left the subject alone. "He's so handsome and kind. My lord he's smart too. Don't forget all those years of sports, Marie. The man has the body of a god." Eddward groaned. He sounded worse than a teenage girl.
"Well….I mean he knows you wanna sit on his dick." Marie blurted causing a blush to erupted on both of them.
"I'm the one who would like a sexual relationship with him. Why are you blushing?" Eddward asked with a smile.
"I don't even know." The blue haired teen sighed and picked up her sketch book. "Kevin's wants you on his dick. so give it time." Eddward blushed darker.
"Max and I did a lot of activities together, but I've never...uhm.." Marie put her hands up indicating she understood what he was trying to convey. The girl tapped her chin as she thought for a second. "How bad do you think it will hurt?"
"Boyfriend, you're asking a Virgin lesbian. I'm probably gonna be holding my V-card till college." Marie crossed her arms in defeat and pouted. "I'm pretty sure I vomited on the only other lesbian or bi sexual in Peachcreek." Eddward pointed to himself in confusion. "I meant female ones. We seem to be swimming in guys who swing all over the place." both teens sighed.
"Why are we even talking about this. We can't just assume Kevin's sexuality." Eddward said after the sigh. "Beside mother and father wouldn't really approve." Marie tapped her sketchbook with a frown.
" I don't mean to be blunt, but your parents aren't here." The girl fidgeted nervously, while Eddward looked at her in shock.
"I know, I just love him so much. I'm so scared he won't fill the same." The dark haired teen began to cry and Marie stood up and laid next to him before wrapping her arms around him.
"It's okay boyfriend. Don't be scared. If Kevin's mean I'll break his arm too." Eddward calmed down and laughed. With a sigh he wiped his tears.
"Marie, are you gonna come tomorrow too?" The raven haired teen asked.
"Duh! We're like best friends or some shit." Eddward smiled. She was right. They were.
