Chapter 11: An ally returns and Dathomier Burns.

The months had passed since the death watch had joined the Nightsisters and Padme had gained the favour of most of the clones she was instructed to befriend Captain Rex he was the poster boy clone and if he could get him on her side he would be very valuable in persuading the clones to support her. Padme reported that she had been successful, and that Rex was a supporter of hers. She was also becoming very popular with the other senators and was seen as a sort of hero considering how quickly she went back from her capture to getting back to work and trying to help the war. The general public and the senate did not know that she had been captured by Ahsoka just that she was captured by an unknown party only the Jedi council knew it was Ahsoka and they wanted to keep it that way.

All was well however an unexpected return had thrown the Nightsister's plan a little, Asajj Ventress Dooku's apprentice had returned, she told Talzan what had happened and that she wanted revenge. Talzan had proceeded to tell Ventress what was being planned and when Ventress saw Ahsoka she was enraged but Talzan explained and she relaxed a little although she didn't fully trust Ahsoka. Ahsoka backed Talzan's plan to help Asajj get revenge on Dooku It had took a while but the pieces were in place only for Ventress to return and say she ha been betrayed by Savage Oppress the very weapon created to help her. This concerned Ahsoka but she knew the plan was a long shot. Now here they stood deciding on what to do next.

"As our plan has failed we will have to go to our original plan, although it will have to be enacted sooner than we originally hopped but it should not matter" Talzan said as she waved her hand a produced a small wax work figure of Dooku with a strand of silver hair pocking out of it "I will conduct the ritual Sister Tano, Sister Ventress make ready for an attack. Once the ritual starts he will most likely send someone to stop us. Kill them" she ordered Ahsoka smiled and bowed as did Ventress although she was confused as to what exactly would happen.

As the call went out Ahsoka met up with Seliea "Master" she said kneeling

"Master?" Ventress asked

"Yes Seliea is my apprentice. Seliea ready the defence we will have to fight the droids and by enough time for the ritual to be completed" she said as they headed of ready for the fight.

Dooku was sleeping a dreamless sleep in his home when he felt a sharp pain ripple through his body the pain intensified and he rolled out of bed writhing in pain. He felt as if his head was going to explode and he knew who was responsible. He crawled to his holo-emitter and contacted grievous "Destroy the night sisters quickly" he grunted as the pain increased further. "Yes count" the hologram of Grievous said as his ship descended above Dathomier. He launched waves of troop carries and tanks to destroy the Night sisters. Grievous got on a landing craft ready to kill as many as he could it was the only thing that gave him joy.

Ahsoka looked up at the sheer number of craft landing and activated her light sabres. She looked to the lines of Death watch, Zabbraks and Nightsisters all ready to fight. When the first craft landed Ahsoka gave the order to attack. The Nightsisters and zabrack started firing with blaster as laser bows as Ahsoka, Ventress, Seliea and the Death watch charged forward into the ranks of droids dropping them like flies. Grievous was surprised by the number of troops the night sisters had but he knew he would even the odds. Ahsoka carved her way through the droid units Ventress at her side "You know I thought I put this behind" she joked as she cut another row of droids to scrape. Ventress just smirked which she found amazing as she had just smirked at comment form Ahsoka Tano. Her smile faded however when she saw Grievous emerge from and landing craft and carving a path through the defenders. Ahsoka saw this too and headed for him Ventress and Serleia close behind. Grievous laughed as he saw the three women standing before him "this will be easy" he coughed.

"I don't think so" Ahsoka said as she raised both her light sabres, as did Ventress while Seliea raised her single light sabre "Five blades against four" she said as she began attacking Grievous she attacked from the front stabbing at him and blocking his attack Serliea attacked from behind only to get kicked back by Grevouises foot. Ventress came at him from the side and he blocked her to blades with two of his own. The battle intensified as they fought through the scorched ground of Dathomier.

Pre Vizal and his death watch were targeting the tanks and super battle droids although they were successful they had a lost a number of men. However as the last tank was destroyed he turned his attention to the moving battle heading for the cavern of the Nightsisters. He ignited his jet pack and began attacking the droids form the air. The battle was turning in favour of the Nightsisters but it was still a long way from being won by either side. Just then an ungodly, blood curdling scream was heard from the dark of the woods as several undead night sisters charged the lines attacking with voracity. It was clear mother Talzen had asked the high Nightsister to bring the dead back to assist in the battle and Vizal was glad of it. The droid numbers started to thin but they still had a very large problem Grievous was still up and fighting the Girls with no mercy.

Grievous was concerned he had lost one arm and as a result was down a bald, he had managed to Injure Serleia but Ahsoka and Ventress where still fighting hard. He tried to run but found himself being blocked by Ahsoka who had jumped in front of him. Luckily his magna-guards were keeping her busy until the undead attacked them and reduced them to scrape. He was losing and he needed to get out however he had to fight off these two women before he could. He found himself once again being attacked from the front and the side he blocked Ahsoka but one of Ventress's blades snuck past him and struck his face plate. He was blinded for a moment then he felt and intense pain and heat in his chest he looked down to see Ahsoka's blade through his chest. He crumbled to the floor and looked up "A Child I was defeated by a child" he said as he fell to the side and his eyes shut. "No not a child a Nightsister" Ahsoka said soothingly as if she was sending a child to sleep. Grievous was now nothing but a shell of metal prone on a blasted rock. Ahsoka smiled evilly and went to assist the rest of the defenders soon the droids where defeated. It had been a costly battle. The dark surface of Dathiomier was now charred and littered with the dead and wounded amongst the scrape remains of the droid army and the lifeless shell of the once feared general. The villages where ablaze, as where the trees and plants. However the Nigtsisters where victorious now nothing except the republic stood in their way. The night sister had lost a third of their army but they wold soon have a new army to do their bidding. They would have to bide their time now and wait for the right moment to strike.

Dooku crumple up in pain as he felt his very soul being ripped from his body his empty shell lay unmoving on the cold stone floor of his ancestral home. In one day Palpertine had lost his apprentice and the general of the droid army. His grand plan was unravelling and yet he still didn't know who it was that was responsible. As the Nightsister's buried their dead and treated their wounded a cold shiver blew through the council of the Jedi as they felt the darkness grip the force tighter and an old green master frowned.

AN: so here's another chapter and it's all going downhill for Palpertine. If you expected Dooku or Grievous to stick around sorry I needed them out of the way and this worked best. What will happen now? Find out in my next chapter. As always please review it makes me happy.
