Sundays had become Chandra's primary 'Lazy days'. She would spend most of the morning in bed before taking an extra-long shower followed by a breakfast of sausage, eggs, bacon, hash browns, biscuits, and gravy.

But this Sunday was different seeing as how she awoke in her wife's arms. 'Hm wife' Chandra thought, 'for once you caused some happiness grandma.' The thought of the vile woman made her frown but a glance at a sleeping Liliana instantly banished any thoughts of her.

She leaned over and placed a gentle kiss on her sleeping lover's lips. "rrrmm, it's too early, go back to sleep dearest."

"Already trying out pet names are we?" Chandra whispered seductively with a smile.

"Why not? Now go back to sleep." Liliana said putting an arm around Chandra and pulling her close.

Chandra checked the time, "It's ten o'clock."

"And?"

Four hours later they finally rolled out of bed. They went to the apartment's bathroom and took a shower together, though that led to a lot of making out. After they emerged they got dressed and headed to the cafeteria for 'breakfast.'

Normally Liliana was a pretty healthy eater but the sight of the late breakfast Chandra ordered made her decide to throw that to the wind.

"So how'd it go last night?" Tamiyo asked scaring Chandra slightly and making her and Liliana blush.

"I don't believe that's any of your business." Liliana said.

"But if you must know it went great, amazingly even." Chandra said, enjoying how Liliana's blush deepened.

"Hm, well it sounds like your liking the married life," Tamiyo whispered, sitting down and eyeing a piece of Chandra's bacon.

"Get your own bacon." Chandra said, calling Apophis to 'stand' between her plate and Tamiyo.

With a smile Tamiyo ordered a similar breakfast and when she got it she mashed up the biscuits and then piled everything on top before adding more gravy.

"You know," Liliana said before swallowing, "Eating like this is going to ruin our figures." She said, poking Chandra's stomach.

"Hey I only eat like this on Sunday mornings. And I don't much care for your accusation." She said before taking a finger covered in gravy and smearing it on Liliana's forehead.

"Oh you're so going to pay for that." Liliana said, but before she could do anything another student walked up behind her.

"Um excuse me ma'am, could you explain something for me?" the boy asked.

"Sure." Liliana said while wiping off the gravy.

"When resurrecting a fallen soldier what type of object makes the best 'leash'?" he asked with air quotes around the word leash.

"Well a piece of quartz crystal works the best but if you don't have that a bone or even a fossil will work." Liliana said.

"Thanks." The boy said, walking away.

"Always ready to help," Chandra said with a chuckle.

"Hey I am a teacher in case you've forgotten." Liliana said before smacking Chandra on the forehead with an egg.

The rest of the day was spent mostly in the library with both Liliana and Chandra taking turns either drawing or painting the other naked. They both at times changed the other a little. At one point Chandra drew Liliana as a mermaid, again, while Liliana drew Chandra as a Naga. (Like a mermaid but with a snake tail instead of a fish tail.) They kept the curtains over the window and weren't disturbed except when Avacyn and Kaalia came in looking for a private place to make out and found Chandra modeling. They looked at all the pictures and had asked if they would paint them each something.

Deciding 'what the hell' Liliana painted Avacyn naked with her wings around a naked Kaalia, while Chandra painted Kaalia standing next to a summoning circle with Avacyn naked inside it. All were pleased with how they turned out, though Chandra was beet red for most of it.

When they left surprisingly Tamiyo showed up with food. As they ate she went over the pictures they had made, "These are amazing. You should make this a job instead of just a hobby."

"You know I just might." Chandra said, "Who knows, if I'm good enough maybe the king will request a portrait of himself."

When Tamiyo left they continued with their painting for about an hour till they packed up and headed to their separate homes.

The next day during Chandra's dark magic class Sorin asked her to stay after class, "So I heard you made a painting of Kaalia and Avacyn yesterday."

Chandra blushed heavily, "Yes sir." She said scared about where he was taking this.

"What would be the possibility of you making a portrait of me to hang on my wall?" he asked gesturing to the empty walls.

"Well… I could start one tonight. Depending on the size it may take a while."

"I was thinking maybe five feet by seven feet. It would be a full body portrait with a background of your choice."

"Um, ok. That'll take a while, and I'll definitely need you to model for it. Come find me in the library eighth period." Chandra said, not looking forward to painting the vampire but not wanting to get on his bad side.

"Ok, see you then." Sorin said.

When Liliana entered the library hours later she was surprised to see Sorin standing outside her and Chandra's usual room, "What're you doing here?" she asked, her hatred of him present in her voice.

"Now Miss Vess, is that any way to talk to a fellow teacher?" Sorin asked, his voice annoyingly formal.

"Considering the pain you caused Emma, just enjoy the fact that I don't kill you where you stand."

"Hey, she killed herself. It isn't my fault she was overly susceptible to vampiric emotional draining. If I had known…"

"You should have seen it!" Liliana exploded, "You should have seen it in her eyes. In the way she looked depressed all the time."

"It's true Sorin, you should have taken better notice." Karn said from behind Lilliana.

"Back to my question, why are you here?"

"I'm going to be paying Miss Nalaar to paint a portrait of me."

"You stay the hell away from her."

"Liliana!" Chanda's voice echoed through the library, "He's willing to pay, if I'm to make a career out of painting I need to start somewhere."

Liliana turned to look at her, "Just be careful, ok?"

"If you want you may oversee the project." Sorin said.

"I will be."

For the next two hours Chandra set up the frame and canvas and started to sketch Sorin. She started with his face then as she was starting to move to his body Karn told them to pack up.

Over the next month Chandra would work on the portrait during study hall. When it was done it had Sorin in his usual attire, wiping blood off a sword while standing in front of the castle. It was eerie, menacing, and intimidating. He was quite pleased with how it turned out.

He hung it in his classroom, and when students questioned him about who had made it, he replied that it had been Chandra. She received compliments about it from many students, and was even asked by some teachers to make some for them.
