Here's another update for you guys. I'm saying we're about 75% done with the story right now so prepare for a bit more action from here on out. My excuse for not updating lately has been some medical problems I wanted to get checked out and some more normal work.

Anyway, enjoy your read!

After a long, confusing, tiring week for everyone, a certain person's loud voice echoed through the halls of the institute of war; yell of joy and eagerness.

Summoners, staff, and champions alike stared as the person walked through the halls. Some stared in shock, others in fear, others just waved as she moved with dedication to a certain room.

That person was about to get a wake up call.

Izuna turned on her bed, slowly opening her eyes. She gazed groggily at her clock, which read 7:14 am and slowly closed her eyes again.

'Sweet, two more hours of sleep,' Izuna happily thought to herself.

As she pulled her sheets higher, she heard a strange noise. The only sound she occasionally heard from her room was footsteps or birds. This sounded like a hissing of sorts. She sat up slowly and looked around in fear.

'There better not be a snake here...' She thought, looking at the ground.

A few seconds later, her door swung open, hitting the wall hard. If there was a snake, it'd be gone now. Izuna looked up at a familiar person and at source of the sound. Vi gave a small wave, with her gauntlets releasing a bit of steam.

"C'mon, I'm finally allowed back here and you're asleep? Let's party!" Vi said, jumping towards the girl. She bounced on the bed, sitting near her as she landed. Izuna smiled weakly.

"You would come here at seven in the morning..." Izuna said, giving up on the idea of any further rest. She got up and stretched slightly. Vi crossed her arms behind her head as she laid on the bed. "You hungry?"

"Not really... so what's been up with you?" Vi asked, arching herself up on her right elbow. Izuna sat back down. She wasn't very hungry after just waking up anyway.

"Quite a few things actually... Hehe..." Izuna said, tapping her fingers together. She began talking quickly. "Joey and Catherine finally became a couple, Mel and I became a couple, student Joey got to platinum already, some asshole tried to make me duo with him but aside from that nothing new."

"Heh, had a good week then," Vi said. "At least the worst is behind us then. I've had to deal with annoying Ezreal most of the week from when Cait came here, god I hate that kid."

"Well... Now I have three hours to kill, what do you want to do?" Izuna asked. As she did, the door to her room opened, revealing Mel smiling.

"Some girl time wouldn't kill us," Mel said, walking inside, shutting the door behind her. Vi sat up with a smirk and Izuna fell on the bed sighing, covering her head with her pillow.

'Oh. God.'

"Fuck you," the angered boy said, as the chair fell from his forceful standing. His father walked in, shushing him as the woman on the bed sat calmly. "Why do you keep sucking me into this crap?"

"Don't speak around your mother that way, Jack," his father said, walking towards him. Jack let loose a punch, hitting his father in his chest as hard as he could but his armor made it hurt the boy more.

"You don't lie about someone being sick! That's messed up," Jack said, clenching his fists. "Why do you want Izuna so bad?"

"That's none of your concern. Your job is to obey your father. I knew that half assed academy would do this to you," Thomas said, gravely as usual. Jack turned and knelt beside his mother's bed. While she was sick, it was nothing too grave and she had explained what was going on in a nicer attempt to get her son to join her husband's plan.

"Izuna is my friend and I will never do anything to hurt her. I hope you understand mom," Jack said, standing up and facing his father as he finished, not waiting for an answer. He walked up to him, looking up angrily. "Things aren't the way you think they are, Dad. We don't need wars to decide things and I'm a part of that movement. Keep me out of this and don't come find me again."

Jack began to walk to the door and, as he opened it, his father spoke up.

"If you leave, don't expect to be welcomed back anytime soon," Thomas growled.

"Huh, you act like I've been dying to ever come here in the first place," Jack said, chuckling slightly. "It's pathetic to think you used to be a summoner."

With that, the boy took his leave. If his father had responded, he didn't listen; he didn't care to. His mind was clouded with emotions. Anger, frustration, confusing, love; all of those came to mind. He closed his eyes for a few seconds as a thought came into his mind.

You know I would never force you to do something you don't want to, Jack," the bedridden woman said, coughing as she finished.

"You both know I hate being lied to. I was worried sick," Jack said, sitting across from the bed on a simple wooden desk chair.

"Your father's ways are a bit... Forceful, I'll agree. You know how old fashioned he is... But I have to admit I am too. I won't let that get in the way of your choices though; it's your life. Your grandfather made your dad a Noxian prodigy and he wanted the same for you," the woman said. She reached forward and Jack quickly handed her the glass of water beside him.

"I just want a peaceful life. The world is fine the way it is now... We don't need wars anymore. Are you going to hate me?" Jack asked, seriously.

"I can't ever hate you, Jack. It will take your father some time to come around though..." His mother said, calmly.

Jack nodded and remained quiet. He would stay that way for almost ten minutes until he heard his father's voice approaching and a surge of anger arose.

"What are we going to do?" one boy asked, as his champion, Sivir, tossed her boomerang blade at the incoming minions.

In the intense first ranked match for Izuna and Mel, they had ended up in a tight spot. With their middle inhibitor exposed and the five enemies group waiting for their side lanes to push, they were stuck clearing the waves of minions until they came up with a plan.

"We need to fight soon... We're running out of time," their captain said, as his champion, Shyvana, was standing ready to engage, or counter-engage, with her Dragon's Descent.

"If one makes a mistake... It could cost them the game..." Izuna said, looking around. For a split second, she noticed one enemy champion was gone; their ADC, Varus. Izuna dropped a summoner ping on the opposite side of the wall. "Mel, ward that."

Sona moved quickly with Mel's command and a ward was placed in the right spot. Varus was revealed, as he took a quick shot at the ward. This was it.

"Go now, I'll get Varus!" Vi shouted, as she focused on the archer and dived past the wall with her vault breaker. 'I hope they're listening.'

A powerful punch landed on the archer, knocking him back and causing a flash. He threw his ultimate ability, the Tendrils of Corruption, as the enforcer, rooting him in place as he ran away. After a second, thanks to her mercury treads, Vi charged at the archer with her Assault and Battery ability.

Varus attempted to move away while shooting his arrows but, while he did a heavy number on Vi's health bar, the enforcer came out on top. Meanwhile, the rest of her team had begun to fight and she began to charge her vault breaker again as she came from behind the enemy team.

Despite Vi eventually being defeated, the remaining two members from her team were Tristana and Malphite, which was enough to finish off the remaining inhibitor, towers, and finally, Nexus. Malphite's tankiness made the little Yordle's job almost too easy.

"I missed Vi," Izuna said, coming out of the room they were in.

"That was a great plan Izuna, Varus' summoner got a little too cocky with the minion wave at the bottom lane," Mel said, walking behind her. Izuna turned and looked at her confused.

"Oh, that was all Vi, she likes to just do things after telling me to trust her, I eventually just let her," Izuna said, smiling slightly.

"Really now... So I guess Vi should be the summoner here, had she been doing all your homework and test over the years?" Mel asked, jokingly.

"I don't think Vi'd have the patience to sit in a desk for seven hours a day, do you?" Izuna said, thinking about it slightly. "I know we have to re-create our bonds in every match but I have an easier time with Vi doing that."

"That makes sense. Champion-Summoner synergy seems just as important as team synergy. Trusting a champion to act on their own is easier with some… imagine if we let Nocturne or Renekton do as they please," Mel said, turning towards her.

They stopped in the halls outside of the match queue room as they waited for Vi, who had insisted they wait for. Behind Mel, Izuna saw a familiar boy wave at her slightly, who she turned away from to ignore.

"I wonder how Jack is, haven't seen him in a while," Izuna said quietly. As Mel went to talk, Izuna made a loud noise as she nearly fell over from what she assumed was the force most champions felt when hit by her vault breaker ability.

"Time to celebrate!" Vi yelled, loudly enough for people down the hall to turn to look.

"Why am I always getting attacked like this!" Izuna yelped from under Vi, quickly moving away and taking a breath. "You could've asked without nearly killing me, you know."

"Where's the fun in that? You get to kill me whenever you want, you sadist," Vi said, laughing. Izuna let her quick frustration go; she had missed her and she was only being herself.

"Let's go to my room, I can make us something to eat before you have to go to another match," Mel said, as Vi eagerly nodded.

"We always end up going to your room," Izuna said, as they began to walk.

"Yeah but at least this time you're ending there fully clothed," Mel said, smirking.

"Sounds like you've had quite the 'normal' week?" Vi said, elbowing her sides lightly.

Izuna sighed and smiled right after.

"I love you guys."

After the last plan of deception failed, Swain sat quietly at the end of the table with his hands on his temples. LeBlanc sat nearby, toying with her staff as she stared at the rest of the other men sat impatiently. Thomas spoke up.

"Just challenge them to a battle, we're wasting time here," he said, standing up.

"We can't just do that. Their summoners are more powerful than ours," Swain said, looking up at the man.

"We can't just keep trying to get the girl, it seems like she doesn't even know her own powers. Challenge them before we lost the deposit," Thomas said.

"From a champion's perspective, we won't have a great chance. I agree we must act now, however," Swain said, standing up slowly.

LeBlanc stood up herself and walked out the door quickly. She had grown tired of this and decided to go spend her free time elsewhere. As she stepped in the courtyard of the war hall, she felt an ominous wind again and immediately sat on the stone bench, crossing her legs and placing her staff on her lap.

"You again, huh?" LeBlanc said, as the woman slowly sat beside her.

"For a dead woman, you sure get around much," the hooded woman said, laughing.

"I suppose I do. What do you want this time?" LeBlanc said, monotonically.

"I'm wondering why you people like to meddle in things that do not concern you, thinking you have a way to change the inevitable. You, a two-faced woman, seemed like a good person to ask," the woman said, standing up. Her arms seemed to be crossed under her robe. "Surely it'll relieve your boredom."

"It might. I'll humor you for now, witch," LeBlanc said, standing up herself. "You're lying to yourself if you aren't the same way. You're doing the same thing, aren't you? I doubt Izuna will ever ally herself with the likes of either of us."

"I know my methods will work. We shall see then," the woman said, turning back at the sorceress. "If our goals hadn't been so conflicting, we could have perhaps been friends. We both seem to favor lying as a means of communication."

"I suppose everyone wants to be the ones in control, to answer your first question. Who wouldn't want to be the hero of their nation?" LeBlanc said, pushing her short hair to the side. "I don't frankly care. I'm just repaying debts. I don't think this will be the last time we meet, witch."

"Just do yourself a favor and stay away from the girl," the woman said, beginning to walk forward.

"I'll do what is needed of me. I don't make promises I won't keep," LeBlanc said, smirking.

"Then this might be our penultimate encounter, deceiver," the woman said, fading away in her traditional wind, causing LeBlanc to shield her eyes. The sorceress smiled as she walked towards the city square.

"I'll be ready, witch," LeBlanc said. "You too, summoner Izuna."
