"Augh!.." I managed to gasp out while biting down on Leah's gray neck, throwing her into the ground. Small whimpers escape both of our mouth. Every part of our bodies aching dully.
Is..t-that all you got..? I spat at Leah. Not really liking her at all.
"Alright Shadow, Leah. Enough." My head snapped around to see Sam walking towards us, his body tall with authority. Leah crouching down towards the mud. I looked around us to see all the guys handing each other money. Even though neither one of us really won. I would of by the way, just thought I would clear that up. Trotting over behind a tree, I change back. My body still in intense pain, this only being my third time turning back.
Coming back around, I see Jacob smiling. His teeth glowing bright against his dark skin.
"My turn." Jake said with a smirk on his face that made me really want to punch it right off. You know the kind I'm talking about. My mouth dropped open. His turn?
"Your turn?"
He nodded to confirm. "Did I stutter Shad? You have to fight two of us. I guess I forgot to say that?"
My nose instantly flaring. Man, can you really get pissed off any easier Shad? My breath was still rough, my cheeks flushed, and blood rolling down the side of my head.
"Fine. I'll beat your ass. But, lets make it interesting." I said while crossing my arms over my chest. "If I win, which I will, you have to be my slave for a week." And Paul, being the nasty man he is, howls at that. Earning a laugh from everyone else.
"And if I win?" He questions. I just laugh. He glared at me through his beautiful, full lashes. "If I win, you have to look me in the eye," It's weird to bet on such a thing. But I haven't been able to look him in the eye, too afraid, for some reason. "and go on a second date with me."
"Deal." That one single word, the four letters that made me happy and nervous.
Both of us crouched down, my eyes on his body, taking in his stance, his glistening chest. His eyes on my face. Right before I was about to kick his ass and phase, an old orange truck pulled up. I took my eyes off of Jacobs chest and looked up to see a skinny, very pale girl stumbling her way over to us. "Jacob?" I could hear her heart skip a beat as she said his name. My blood boiling at that.
Forcing my eyes back over to Jacob, I saw his face pale, eyes on the ground, slowly turning his back to me.
"Bella..." I heard him breath out. The way he said it instantly made me know that they had something. My chest felt like it was going to burst. My breath caught in my throat as I saw the pale girl run up to Jacob and hug him. Her eyes traveling to me, our eyes meeting. My jaw was set, my lips pursed together in a straight line, my eyes flaring with envy and rage.
"Jacob?" She said as she pulled back, her hands still resting on his chest. "Who's the new girl?" Her head nodding to where I was currently shaking.
"Oh! T-that's-"
"-My name's Shadow." I managed to push out while I stalked toward her, her hands grabbing Jacob's huge arms, being the scared little baby she is. Trying to hide behind him. Jacob looked down at me, a lovestruck smile on his face. And for the first time since my world turned upside down, I looked into his beautiful, brown eyes.
My breathing stopped. My lips parting. All thoughts left my head as the new ones came rushing in all at once. Ones only of him. We both just stared at each other, forgetting everything and everyone around us.
"...Jake? Did she just..?" A small, annoying voice said in the foggy background.
Yep. There you go. I was planning on making this chapter different, but I forgot because I haven't updated in such a long time! Haha. I'm sorry. Cliff hanger? In a way. I decided to bring Bella in. So review and tell me what you think! The more reviews the faster I'll update!
