A/N: Requst: Please may anyone write me Iron Husband (Iron Man) or Digoli (Arrow) stories. I'd pay, but no money, shame. Thank you :).

Notes:

Mason is a week and a few days old

Warnings:

No New Warnings

Shout_Outs:

FrankieQuinn13: It would've been, but now he's worked through it and figured 'Hey, this kid is like half me, and he's gonna have awesome people around him and he's gonna be a good kid' and so you know, yeah. Oh he is gonna be in deep doo–doo, and he's gonna in swimming in the river of denial, you know how it goes. Here's the next chapter for you :).

lytbrythybrid88: Reluctantly, they will because they know Jake isn't well so they kinda do believe the Cullens. Bella's gonna freak obviously, she's gonna be pissed! It's gonna be a while before Nessie goes big sister crazy, Edward and Bella have to find out first.

Rat3000: Thank you, here is more for you :), enjoy.

Mizuki 8D: She is, she already spoils Nessie, so Mase is just another kid to over–buy things for. And Jake's gonna be all 'stop with the buying, Alice, he's a child, he doesn't know anything' and Alice will be all 'Did you saying something, Jake' while hauling in more clothes and toys for le baby (well it won't be exactly like that but you get the picture). She is defs gonna go insane, coz I mean, even I'd go insane really, like not Bella insane, but like yeah, insane. You'll just have to wait and see about that…

Munuzilda: Muito obrigado. Estou feliz que você está gostando dessa história. Vou certamente ter mais angústia e drama parta você espero que gostem deste capítulo, e desculpe se as traduções estão erradas. Eu só posso trsut Google traduzir tanto, você sabe. Beijos!

EdwardsMate4ever: It's a pleasure :), I'm glad you're enjoying it. There really should be more, and I'm only happy to be one of the people that increases the number :D. *eek*! Huge fan of your work btw!

Guest: Aaaw, I love you too :).. sorry it's so very late, but here it is, and I hope you enjoy it. Yep, Edward still has to work hard for that, lots of people are angry about what he did. Here's more, hope you enjoy it :).

Cinnamon–Romanji: That's exactly it! I mean I don't know how like canon Alice's visions worked, but here I think it works more like a decision is made and Alice can see how that path goes but her Visions are susceptible to change because what she sees is only one version of how things could go. That's kinda why she didn't see Nessie during the vision, because this is only one version—each decision had many different ways of going, if you get what I mean. I hope you understand what I'm trying to say coz I think I've confused myself *face–palm*. No, it definitely won't be easy to forgive, it's going to be a long, hard road, but they'll get there. We'll definitely see how things turn out with Bella. I'm not sure what I'm planning for her yet, but we'll see…

Marie One: There are many ways that this could go, but I mean the end result is pretty obvious. No, no more spoilers, at least no more intentional spoilers. Sorry for the late update, hope you like it though… I'm actually slowly starting to work on it again, I had like badass writers block, but slowly working on it. Can't say when it'll be update but it won't be too long, hopefully.

KxZ fan girl: Thank you :). Oh, he will be, don't you worry about that. Sorry it's late, but please enjoy.

purplebluejay: Here is more for you, enjoy :D!

nicolelilfreak: I'm glad, here's more for you :). Well, it's good to know that you didn't because I would've been real sad. I'm sorry that it's late though, don't leave me! I promise next chapter will come sooner. Whoow, he will definitely be sweating, beg and cry and everything else in between.

smartbookworm: Sorry it's late, but here you go :).

Even In the Darkness

Jacob's chest pains were getting worse by the day, but he was doing a good job hiding them from everyone else. To everyone, Jacob was recovering, though not as quickly as they would've liked, but recovering nonetheless. He hadn't Phased since he found out he was pregnant and he didn't think he'd be doing it any time soon, his body hurt and Shifting would only let the Pack know about his pain.

The Shifter was pulled from his thoughts by the sound of Mason crying. He quickly rushed out of bed to get to his son's room. Since a few days ago, Jacob had been the one to do everything for his son—feeding, diaper change, bathing and such things—and Emily had moved back to her own house. She came by every day just to make sure that Jacob and Mason were doing all right.

Jacob picked his son up gently, holding him with the utmost care and patting him as he made his way to the kitchen to warm up a bottle. When the young Shifter walked in, he found his father and Harry Clearwater at the kitchen, cooking. He nodded at them in greeting and they nodded back.

"How's he doing?" Billy asked, looking at the baby in his son's arms.

"He's okay, just hungry," Jacob replied handing the baby to Billy while he warmed up the bottle. Billy nodded, holding his grandson more carefully—almost as though he were glass—just as the boy's father had done.

"Are you sure you're alright, Jake? You've been sleeping a lot more than usual."

"I'm sure dad. It's just taking a little longer than expected for me to heal, but I'll be fine."

Billy didn't look too convinced, but he nodded and turned to Mason, smiling to himself when he found the boy was once more asleep. Mason was like that, he'd be crying his eyes out one moment, and as soon as he was in someone's arms, he'd be fast asleep, sucking on his little hand. Billy had enough of those pictures to share with the Pack… twice!

"Here you go." Jacob handed his father the bottle and Billy went to work feeding the child. Billy loved doing this as much as Jacob did, it relaxed both of them. Most of the time Jacob did it, but there were other times where Billy would be given the privilege.

"Your sisters said they'd be coming to visit soon," Billy said, careful not to speak too loudly or move too much since Mason was asleep—though he sucked on that bottle as though there wasn't going to be a next feeding.

"Okay."

"They may ask questions. We could tell them you met a girl, she got pregnant but couldn't keep the baby."

"Or we could tell them the truth."

"Your sisters left so they wouldn't be tangled in this life—" Billy was cut off by the arrival of Collin and Brady. The pair was out of breath from running and they'd rushed in the kitchen none–too–quietly which resulted in Mason being woken, eyes wide with shock before he started crying.

"Dammit, could you not run into the house like that, we do have a baby in here?" Jacob scolded, getting his son from his father and shushing the little boy.

"Sorry Jake, we uh…" Brady stopped talking and looked from Collin to Billy and Harry then to Jacob awkwardly.

"I'm going to go put Mason down."

"Okay kid."

Jacob left the kitchen, leaving Collin and Brady with the two older men.

"What's going on?" Harry asked quietly.

"The Cullen's are here—"

"What?!" Billy interrupted, looking for the two young Shifters and towards the door that led out to the living room.

"Well it's the doctor and his uh… daughters," Collin said. "They have medical stuff with them, said it's for Jake."

"What for?"

"They said he was sick. The Seer Vamp said she Saw something and they had to save Jake."

"Save him?"

"Yep, that's what they said. Blondie said they aren't leaving till they see Jake. Sam wants to know if he should allow them to cross."

Billy let out a sigh then nodded. "Fine, let them pass. But keep them at Sam's house. I want to hear what this is about before having to get Jacob into it."

"'Kay." The two Shifters left the house and made their way to the border with the answer.

&—&

When the three Cullen's had reached Forks, it had been dark out—just a little past midnight. It'd been easy for them to get from the airport and back to their old house in the middle of the woods without notice. Everything was still in order since they hadn't been gone that long. Alice was jumpy from nerves, she hadn't gotten any new Visions, but she was hopeful that things would turn out okay in the end.

The small Vampire's jumpiness came as an annoyance to Rosalie, but the blonde said nothing, partially understanding why her sister would be so nervous and excited about seeing the Wolf. Rosalie had seen the way Alice had been when the Seer had gotten that first Vision; she'd been completely distraught, just about losing it. But then she'd gotten another Vision, Jacob had survived, he and Edward had been together and they'd had another child.

Whether the Vision was true or not, Rosalie didn't care, she just wanted to see the puppy herself, make sure he was all right. She wanted to let him know that she was there, that she knew what it was like and that if he needed something to punch or a shoulder to cry on, she'd be there.

Rosalie hadn't studied psychology for nothing. She knew how things worked. But she also knew how Jacob felt, and that would work well for her in her process to help him… if the Wolf allowed her to help him.

Around midmorning, the day after they'd arrived in Forks, the three members of the Cullen family made their way to the Quileute Reservation in a rented car. Carlisle sat in the driver's seat, mentally going over what he'd say to the Wolves in order to convince them to let him and his daughters cross the border to help Jacob. He was sure that the Wolves wouldn't take their coming back well, especially with the way they left.

Alice sat on the passenger seat, silently watching the world go by. She was even more jumpy then before. She'd seen that Jacob would be okay, but she couldn't be certain.

Alice's Vision weren't certain, what she saw was only one side of a million possibilities. What she Saw in that Vision could simply change in an instance. She might See Edward and Jacob ending up together now, but Jacob could just as easily meet someone in the next few seconds and the future would change.

That was why Alice was so nervous. She could maybe believe that Jacob would be all right, but even then chances could be that the Shifter's kill them before they can help the Wolf and he ends up being healed on his own. But Alice doubted that. She could feel it in her dead bones that they are supposed to help Jacob, and even if he didn't end up with Edward, he'd still be alive, maybe be happy with someone else.

Rosalie sat in the back seat of the car, already going through what she'd say to Jacob when she finally had time alone with him. She wanted to help him move on from what happened to him without being as destructive as she had been. After she'd killed Royce and his friends, she had to admit she hadn't felt as liberated as she'd thought. Instead she'd felt sick to her stomach and had wanted to literally throw up. She didn't want that for the puppy, she didn't want that for anyone.

The three Vampires reached the La Push/Forks boarder and Carlisle stopped at the side of the road and got out. He could smell the Wolves close by and was sure they'd be at the border in no time. It wasn't ten minutes later that the Wolves showed up. They glared at the doctor and let out low, warning growls, daring him to come any closer.

"I'm not here to cause trouble," Carlisle said carefully, his hands up in surrender. Someone stepped out from the forest—Sam Uley, the Pack Alpha. The man glared hard at Carlisle then glared into the car where Alice and Rosalie sat, looking back at them. It was easy to see that the man was holding himself back, that he wanted nothing more than to rip Carlilse to shreds.

"What do you want?" Sam demanded with a growl. He was doing everything in his power to not Phase and attack this man. They'd run away like cowards and they hadn't looked back. What the hell where they doing back here now?

"We need to see Jacob," Carlisle replied, wishing Jasper were around to calm the Wolves, but if Carlisle really thought about, things were better without Jasper's influence which would've probably made things worse.

"Like hell you need to see him!"

"This is for everyone's sake." Sam scoffed. "He's ill."

"And how would you know that?" The door to the car opened and Alice stepped out, quickly joining Carlisle.

"I Saw it," the Seer spoke, keeping her cool. She knew the Shifters wouldn't take their being there well, so for the sake of everyone's safety, she, Carlisle and Rosalie had to stay calm. The Wolves had ever right to be angry.

"Like hell you did!"

"I did! I know he has a son, Mason. We know what Edward did to him, and we want to help."

"You ran away like cowards!" Sam shouted, his hands shaking with anger that was barely restrained.

"We didn't know what he'd done then. He said he'd just had a run–in with Jacob and we didn't think anything of it. We were planning on leaving that day, Bella was going to have her baby soon and we needed to change her as soon as the birth was over. We couldn't do that here, that's why we left. Not because of what Edward did. We never would've left if we'd known! Please, you have to believe us; you have to let us pass. Jacob will die if you don't!" Alice's voice shook at the end with raw emotion.

"Why am I supposed to believe that?" Sam asked looking at the now distraught looking girl. It confused him. Why would she care? Did he believe her? Well he wasn't sure about that right now.

"Because it's true. I Saw you with Mason; you were at Jacob's grave. I Saw Billy and Jacob's sister Rachel."

"How were you able to See me? You can't See me!"

"I think you lost your Wolf after Jacob died, I don't know. But I know what I Saw and you have to let us pass. Please."

Sam turned, looking at his Pack mates. They looked just as shocked. The Vampire Seer looked almost close to tears. They could be faked, she could be lying, but it didn't seem like she was. She knew about Mason, she knew Jacob had a sister and she knew her name. But it could be a trick, they could've been sent here by Edward to finish Jacob off. But Edward wouldn't be able to command them to kill Jacob, no matter how much Edward hated Jacob—well at least that's what the books Billy had found said. A Vampire was dependant on it's Mate, just as a Shifter was dependant on it's Imprint, in simple terms, Edward would go insane and eventually find a way to end his life if Jacob died.

"Please Sam, I have to know that Jake's going to be okay. I can't—" Alice choked on her words. She shook her head and looked desperately at Sam, her arms wrapped around her as though she were cold. She looked so scared and small.

The Wolf realised then how serious the girl was, he could literally smell the tears that would never fall. He was shocked and confused. He could see the way the Vampire almost twitched from nerves. She was telling the truth.

"Please," Alice whispered. The blonde Vampire stepped out of the car and stood beside her sister and father. With her arms crossed and a defiant look in her eyes, she told them that she and her family weren't leaving till they saw Jacob, that she'd stand there till they let them pass or they ripped her to shreds.

Sam turned to the two smallest Wolves. "Go to Billy's and let him know the Cullen's are here." The two small Wolves nodded then ran off towards the Black house.

The Wolves and Vampires stood about awkwardly, waiting for the two youngest Wolves to return. Rosalie was holding Alice, whispering to her, Carlisle nodding every once in a while. Neither group looked away from the other.

It was at least twenty–minutes later when the two youngest Shifters returned. One of the boys quickly Shifted into their Human forms to communicate with the Vampires.

"What did Billy say?" Sam asked, not once looking back.

"He said you must let them pass, they must go to your house and he would meet them there, hear what they have to say." Sam nodded and turned to the leeches.

"You heard him."

"Thank you," Alice said with a relieved sigh.

"This doesn't mean that Jacob will want your help."

"I know." The three Vampires went back into their rented car and got inside. Sam and Collin Shifted back into their Wolf forms then led the car to Sam's house where Billy, Emily, Harry and Sue were waiting at the porch. The Wolves Shifted back into their Human forms before they came into view and the Cullen's stepped out the car.

Everyone was led inside, to the living room. They all sat around where there was space, everyone tense and uncomfortable. The Wolves could so easily kill the Vampires now, but the place was small and the Vampires had better movement space. It could all go to shit very, very quickly.

Alice explained things. She told them about her first Vision—and only her first Vision—and everyone could see her desperation, they could see how much she wanted to help Jacob. They weren't sure if she was being honest or not, but by the way she looked, it would appear she was though.

"You have to let us help him," Alice repeated for what must've been the tenth time since they'd arrived. "Please! For all of you, for Mason."

"I don't know how Jacob will react to all of this, but if you think you can help him, than I won't stop you," Billy said. He'd suspected—no, he'd been pretty damn sure that Jacob was sick, but every time he'd asked, Jacob had brushed it off and said he was okay. But now he knew that his son was not okay, hadn't been for a while now.

"Thank you." Alice honestly looked relieved. She was sure it would be harder to convince Jacob but she knew he'd be okay in the end.

"Only the doctor can come with us though—"

"What, no!" Rosalie protested. She was going to stand, but the Wolves tensed and she stayed down. "I need to see him too!"

"Rose," Carlisle said gently. Rosalie huffed, but shut up. "Mr Black, please allow my daughters to see him. Alice just wants to make sure he's all right, she's been like this since she got the Vision and I don't think she'll relax until she sees him herself. And Rosalie… Rosalie wants to speak to him."

"Why would she want to do that?" Sam asked, genuinely confused. He knew that the blonde leech disliked them the most, she absolutely loathed them. Why would she want to speak to Jacob?

"Because I know what he's going through," Rosalie said simply. "I just want him to know that he has someone to talk to." Everyone looked at the blonde in shock. They'd never thought…

"Fine… But only if Jake allows it." Rosalie shrugged.

"Sam and I will talk to Jacob first, see what he has to say," Billy said.

"That all right with me," Carlisle agreed. Billy nodded then he and Sam left and headed to the Black house to speak to Jacob.

TBC…

Okay… So Jake's about to have a complete freak–out maybe go into shock, a panic attack, pass out, don't know, something along those lines…

Anywhoo…
