Shopping and impromptu Visits

Ella's POV

Alice woke me up early in the morning, practically dragging me out of my tent. Apparently she had vision, this one had to do with a giant sale that was happening in the mall that was on our way back and she wished to stop there before going back home. The groan and mental curses were smothered by a glare from Edward and I shot him a glare. I flopped myself down on the backseat of Emmie's truck, my eyes closing as soon as my head landed in the car seat. I felt my head being moved and a cold object touching my cheek before disappearing.

Rosalie shook me awake and I gave an audible groan as I saw where I was. Alice squealed as she dragged me out of the car and towards the open doors. I grasped the doors as we walked by, clinging onto it almost as though my very life depended on it. People were staring and frankly I could care less. I was not going into that abomination, they call a mall.

"Ella!" Alice whimpered as she tugged on my sneaker.

"No, Alice no." I hissed.

"Please! I won't give you a makeover for a month or make you do a fashion show."

I let go and jumped up and smiled at her. Linking my arm with hers I asked what we were waiting for before marching her into the mall and the nearest store.

Bella glared at me and I grinned. I was not letting an opportunity to get out of Alice's death traps go by, she herself knew how rare and far between these were and you had to grab it while it was still there.

Surprisingly I had a great time; it probably had nothing to do with the deal that I made with Alice, absolutely nothing. Alice dedicated herself to buying clothes for Alec who had resigned himself allowing Alice to do as she pleased, smart boy. When Alice wanted something it was best that you gave it to her as he result of her not having it was… not pleasant to say the least. I watched as she busied herself and the rest of my family shop and avoid any prolonged exposure to Alice.

"You seem to be well." A voice whispered noiselessly in my ear.

I froze and my family members all became alert their attention on me.

"What are you doing here?" I asked my mouth hardly moving.

A chair was dragged across the floor and I looked up. Sitting across from me was a boy no older than seventeen or at least that was what he looked like. Dark midnight black hair just like my own with two tantalizing orange mixed with a yellow hue cat like eyes sat on an angular face, which was not to pale but not tan either, a smirk on his lips and his ringed hand under his chin propping up his face as he leaned across the white circular table, Lucifer, my fraternal half-brother, also the devil himself.

"Can't I visit my special little woman?" he asked hurt, faker the smile on his face, coloured his voice.

A growl erupted from my left and Lucifer chuckled, reaching across the table and taking one of my hands and bring it up to his face and kissing it. Another growl this one more fueled with rage.

"Well isn't someone a little possessive." He commented throwing a glance over my shoulder.

"Lu, what do you want?" I asked once more and he sighed.

"Fine, fine ruin all the fun why don't you. I need you to watch Sylence. I have a date, Ella please it would mean so much to me." He cooed.

"No. Lucifer no. I am not watching him so you can go get some poor innocent girl pregnant! Must I remind you of Constantine, I mean one is more than enough." I hissed.

"Ella do it for me. Please. Do it for your big brother!" he pleaded.

"Sylence tried to kill me and he's my big brother." I said as I patted his hand. "Besides what would Enigma say?"

I knew from the frown that I had won and grinned as he scrunched up his face before collapsing into a cloud of dark dust and disappearing. I sighed and turned around and saw the Cullens staring at me with varying expressions of shock. I giggled nervously and small smile graced my lips, I turned and it vanished, "Oops."
