Chapter 11

TEN YEARS LATER…

It was one of the December mornings, the air was quite chill and cold, which made her to stay under the cover of blankets for a longer time of the day than her usual routine. It made her felt so warm, she wished to stay as it is for a longer period of time but she knew she can't. So she got up somewhat hesitatingly, stretching herself lazily on the large sized bed, she glanced at the other side; there was no sign of him. She looked at the watch hanged at the opposite wall which showed a strict 10.

"Maybe he is off to office.." she thought, but why today? After all today was not just an ordinary day. She pouted at the thought that he had left for the office even at such an important day but not thinking much about it, she pulled out a clip from the side table and started pinning her hair upwards as she took few steps towards her wardrobe, after choosing her sets of clothes for today; she made her way towards the washroom for a quick shower.

Around 15-20 minutes later she came out from her washroom drying her hair roughly. After drying her hair and setting it up in a bun, she was about to move out from their room, when something caught her eye, she quickly turned towards the direction to analyze it and as the realization drawn a smile broke out on her lips. She took few steps towards the table where a big bouquet of roses was kept, in that every colored rose was kept. She moved her hand from the flowers gently as she didn't wanted to crush them, when she noticed that a card was placed just at the back of it, she kept the bouquet aside as she read the card,

Dear Tarika,

Thanks for being the most wonderful friend, partner, soul-mate, and wife! I'm blessed to have you in my incomplete life, thanks for making it perfectly complete.

Happy Anniversary dear, lots of LOVE

You're stupid husband.

Tarika smiled as she read those lines. A blush lit up on her cheeks as she glanced back at the roses. But suddenly her blush faded and smile from her face withered away, she sighed deeply before turning back to the card,

"How, I wish yo..(but stopped in mid as she realized her mistake, she shook her head and clear up the tears which were on the verge of falling down, she quickly took the bouquet and placed it on the table and headed towards the other room which was next to her. She opened the door softly as she didn't want the person who was sleeping inside to wake up. As she glanced inside she found that both of them were peacefully sleeping on their respective beds. She made her way inside and adjusted the blankets on them, since she didn't wanted anyone of them to catch cold and turn sick. After carefully adjusting the blankets, she kissed each of them forehead and smiled meaningfully.

If it would have been another day she wouldn't have allowed them to sleep such late but since it was Christmas vacation she extended their time limit. After checking once again on them she moved towards the kitchen and started making tea for herself on the side note she was also checking for any anniversary wishes on her cell phone. She noticed a message from Salunkhe sir, Daya and Tasha, there were also some unwanted messages which she deleted from the inbox.

She quickly poured herself a cup of tea and made herself comfortable on the couch when her cell phone buzzed, she quickly checked it. It was message from him, a bitter smile curved up on her lips as she opened the message,

"Tarika, Happy Married Anniversary !

From Adi.

She replied "thanks " to him, after that she tossed her mobile on the couch as she once again headed towards her room. She closed the room and locked it for precautions, then carefully heading towards her wardrobe she opened her drawer and pulled out one big maroon colored album, it was quite huge album.

She took it and sat across her bed as she opened it, the first page showed a big photo of her with her husband dressed in wedding attire and holding each other hands and above them with a bold letters it was written

"TARIKA WEDS DEEPAK!"

Tarika turned the pages which had photos of her wedding rituals, after that there were reception photographs and then that photo came, the photo which had him,

She and Deepak were standing next to each other and next to her was Aditya and Maya.

She moved her hands from his face,

"Ab.."

She closed the album with a jerk as she remembered all the things from the past, she knew that it was wrong but still she can't help it, when she was busy thinking suddenly her phone rang once again, she quickly picked it up before it could get disconnected,

"Hello?"

"…" but no one spoke.

"hello?" she called out once again but once again there was no reply she was about to disconnect the call when she heard something which sounded like a "sigh" she quickly pulled the phone to her ear as she realized who the caller was,

"A..Adi.." she called out.

"hmm, it's me.." he replied, though he was shocked that she recognized him by just hearing his breathe but then she was SHE, she could have easily guessed it, didn't she?

"kaise ho?"

"theek..tum?"

"main bhi theek.."

"aaj tumhari anniversary hain na? Happy Married Ann-iverary" he replied hesitatingly. God, how he hated him so much for this.

" "

"wait, Maya wants to talk to you.." and he passed the phone to Maya.

"Happy Married Anniversary Tarika." Maya wished her.

"Thanks, maya.."

"and how are ridhima and raunak?"

"doing good.."

"that's nice.."

"Maya, how's he?"

"he is fine.."

"and how are things going in between you and him?"

"It is much better than what I was expecting but you he still thinks about you.."

"He shouldn't Maya, after all You are his wife, I'm not..btw..is he around you?"

"no..he is in Siya's room, mostly checking on her.."

"ohh..okay, so I guess bye then.."

"okay..bye.."

But before they could hung up, Tarika called Maya one more time.

"Maya.."

"huh?"

"Take care of him.."

"yeah, I will.."

"Take care of Abhijeet.."

"of course I will Tarika.."

Sorry once again for the late update..

So I know yeh update padhke mujhe ap sab logon ki galiyan aur bad-duwa milengei..and sare Abhrika lovers mujhe par gussa honge but guyz maine jab story likhni shuru ki thi tabse maine Ending plan kiya tha so end change karna possible nhi hain coz end ko dhyan main rakhe mains sare chapters likhe hain

so ending keliye main kuch nhi karti, SOrry!.

Btw SO Tarika is Married to Deepak and have kids Ridhima and Raunak, Adi is Married to Maya and have a girl named Siya..

Tarika knows that Adi is ABhijeet :O
