This will change back more continuing timeline, so no more timejumps. And because this happens mostly in New york, this chapter is from Emma´s POV :)

Apologizing that this chapter is un-betad. But I really needed to put this out before there is too long time from 3x12 because this is my version of it ;)

Morning starts peacefully with me making us breakfast and Henry watering our plants. When we are ready to start eating our breakfast someone knocks on the door. I´m little worried because no-one should be coming and my job as bail bonds person isn´t the safest one. What if someone I have caught has found out where I live? On my way to the door I turn music down, so our apartment don´t seem so welcoming.
When I open the door there is handsome man with weird leather outfit who says my name very lovingly. I can´t understand how he knows my name, because I can swear I haven´t ever seen him before.
"Do I know you?" I say to him while trying to stop him from entering.
"I need your help. Something´s happened. Something´s terrible. Your family is in trouble." He starts explaining.
I don´t understand what the hell he is trying to say. I don´t have any other family than Henry, my parents left me as soon as I was born. And I make sure he gets that and go back to finding out who he is.
"An old friend. And I know you can´t remember me, but I can make you." He states and go straight to kissing me.
And that´s enough for me. I kick him on the groins and push him out of my doorway. "What the hell are you doing?"
"A long shot. I had to try. I was hoping you felt as I did." He growls out in pain.
"All you gonna feel is handcuffs when I call to cops." I warn him, just wanting him away from me.
"Look I know this seems crazy, but you have to listen to me, you have to remember…" He continues pleading to me as I close door to his face.
"Who was that?" Henry turns in table to ask when I walk back to apartment.
"No idea. Someone must have left the door open downstairs." I explain to him, but couldn´t get that kiss away from my thoughts. It somehow felt familiar and there is no explanation why. "Come on, let´s eat." I just want to continue this day as normal and forget about this incident.
After I drop Henry to school, I walk to the police station to see if there is some job for me. For my surprise I see my earlier visitor there. Against my better judgment I end up paying him out. I guess that kiss affected me much more than I like to admit.
"Thank you, I hoped you will come for me." He says when we leave station.
"Well I didn´t even know that you were there, but I just felt that I couldn´t leave you there for reasons I can´t understand. Don't prove me wrong." I really hope I didn´t make the biggest mistake of my life.
"I won´t ever do something to cause you trouble. At least not if you don´t ask for it." He chuckles.
"Well then we both just have to behave ourselves, do we?" I chuckle back.
"So good to have you back Swan. I see you haven´t lost all of you with your memories." He says with a smile.
"I don´t understand this memory loss thing you kept saying, because for my knowledge I remember all of my life." I really don´t understand how I seem to know all and still he seems to know things about me I don´t. "Let´s go to somewhere quieter so we can talk this through." I say to him and lead him to the quiet pub in the corner of the street.
I usually don´t drink at day time, but this really screams me to make an exception. So after we get our pints and sit on the table I beg him to tell me all.
"For starts it was bloody difficult to find you in this city, took me 2 months." He sighs.
"Well this is a big city." I chuckle. "I take it you aren´t from here?"
"I´m very far away from here, you wouldn´t even believe how far. But I have visited here once before, but that was short visit and only for one purpose." He speaks very cryptic.
"And what would have that purpose been?" I´m really curious, but also fear little bit the answer.
"Just paying back some old debts, but that´s in the past now. And I don´t think we should talk more about that now, it´s more important to focus here and now." He says pleading.
So it clearly was something bad, but because he clearly isn´t going to harm me, I let it slide.
"So what is this talk about my family? I don´t have any other family than Henry. Or do you know my deadbeat parents somehow?" I´m really curious to know what he is meaning with all of this.
"I really do know your parents and they are not deadbeat. There was some circumstances you couldn´t now remember why they were forced to let you go. I didn´t know them then, but I have heard this all later on. They really do miss you. I can promise you that." He explains.
So maybe that´s it then, my parents suddenly have decided after 30 years to find me and have send him.
"So are you here to pick me up to them then? And why they haven´t come themselves or come earlier?" My mind is bussing with questions after this thought came through.
"Yes. And for your other questions I could just say that when you get your memories back it will all clear out for you." He says clearly pleased that I´m now more co-operative.
"And how you suggest we do that? Meaning if I even have any memory loss." I´m really skeptical with all this memory talk.
"I have potion for that, but I guess you wouldn't trust me and drink it just because I say so?" He asks, really seeming to already know what my answer will be.
"Definitely not drinking anything I don´t know what it is." I say pointedly, now this starts to get creepy again.
"So then follow me. I know a place to make you believe in me." He says and stands up handing me his hand to help me up.
I know this is probably bad idea, but I just can´t turn off my curiosity to watch this through, so I take his hand and let him lead me to the deserted apartment on the other side of the city.
"What are we doing here? Don´t even try anything!" I warn him.
"I wouldn´t ever do anything for you without you asking for it." He states so sure of himself. "And we are here to give you some proves. Just look around if you see anything familiar."
I let my eyes wander around the apartment and notice very familiar dream catcher hanging on window. "So you know Neal. Is this some joke? Just cataloging every person that have ever left me?" I start to get angry, this seems like some sick joke.
"Yes, this was his apartment, but we are not so close with him. And this definitely isn´t a joke. Your parents really send me." He explains.
"And how they know Neal? Is my whole live been just experiment how many times could we abandon Emma and see what it do to her?" I start really losing it.
"Calm down love. It isn´t anything like that. And all those people have met only recently and haven´t plot anything behind your back. There isn´t any conspiracy." He says, but something tells me he isn't completely honest.
"And what here should convince me to drink that potion of yours?" I ask him skeptically.
"Just look that dream catcher closer, it should bring some back to you." He plead to me.
Well what could I loose, he couldn´t hurt me with a dream catcher. Though this whole thing is ridiculous. I pick the dream catcher to my hands and try to look it keenly without thinking Neal, and then I´m hit with flood of memories about me being in this apartment earlier with Neal, Henry and an older man I haven´t ever seen.
"What was that?" I gasp out.
"So you did see something?" He asks curious.
"Something yeah, and I could have sworn earlier that I haven´t ever been in here, but those felt like memories." I´m flabbergasted and don´t understand anything anymore. Nothing feels real.
"Like I said I can help with that love. Just drink this and it will all clear out." He says calmingly and hands to me blue vial with some liquid in it. "Just leave little for Henry also."
"Well I´m surely not giving to my son anything maybe poisonous." I warn him.
"It´s not poison, it really will help you remember." He try to convince me.
"Or give me hallucinations." I still don´t believe him.
"Just do it love? I´m not lying to you. It just clears your head to see the truth." He says calmly.
This time I couldn´t detect any hint of lies, so I lift the vial to my lips and drink. Instantly I´m hit with onslaught of pictures and pass out. When I woke up later, he is kneeling beside me and brushes my hair gently with worried look on his face.
"Hook." I say quietly. It really is him, I remember all now.
"Swan, I´m so grateful you are back. I was worried for you for a while. Regina didn´t say anything about this making you pass out." He says in quick order clearly relieved.
"So you did thought of me?" I ask him amused, remembering our last words to each other before leaving Storybrooke.
"Every day love." He states with love.
"Thank you." I say to him touched with his words. "Now help me up and explain everything. How did you come back here?"
"We managed to find magic bean and grow them more." He answers while helping me up from the floor.
"Is anyone else here?" I just have to know and even more I´m curious to know why he is here.
"No, all of our homes are now there and so is yours if you want it." He states.
"So why you are here? And what is this talk about my family being in trouble? I hope nothing terrible haven´t happened to my parents? Are they still alive?" I start to become frantic. It´s been a year and it´s pretty big shock starting to realize this all. That I have been living basically a lie.
"They are alive and well. It´s more about something bad being in the air and they really need your help with that. I know you must wonder why they didn´t come themselves, but it all will come clear to you in time." He tries to calm me down.
"Why so cryptic all the time? Why can´t you just tell me? And why you came only now?" I know I have maybe too much questions for his liking.
"It´s because it´s something they want to tell you themselves. Just trust me with this that they have missed you terribly. And the timing of my coming, that was because this was the point we get drop on bean field. We didn´t have enough beans to make trip on both directions before." He explains. "So would you come back with me?"
"Our whole life is now here, but how can I say no to family. I have also missed you all so much in my heart. No matter that I didn´t know what that unexplainable longing was I felt time to time. So yeah, I will come. But is it that post-apocalyptic destroyed world still? How can anyone live in there?" I´m not completely sure going back to that world, but I need my parents too much. Now that I remember, I know how completely it broke me to go away from them.
"It all returned to the state it was before curse when Regina undid it. So everything is like it was before your birth and curses first casting." Hook says and chuckles a little.
"So I can finally see what it really would have been like." I say more to myself. Then I notice clock. Damn it´s already 2 pm, I must go to pick Henry from school. How will I ever explain this all to him? "We need to pick Henry up. His school day is finishing."
"Well let´s get your lad and then start to plan our trip back." Hook states and we leave Neal´s apartment.
Henry is fairly easy to talk to drink the rest of the potion, though he first looks Hook skeptically. After he gets his memories back he is right away more than willing to leave to the Enchanted forest. I guess regardless of our false memories of our live together, he misses Regina a lot now that he remembers his true mother from his real childhood. Plus he always was so eager to get to that world.
We go to our apartment and pack some most treasured belongings and then Hook throw bean to the floor and we all jump in portal without second thoughts. Hook just instructed us to think my parents and said that will lead us to the right place and time.
We come out in middle of the forest. But soon I notice there is very evil looking castle on the horizon.
"What is this place? Didn´t see this on our last visit here?" I ask Hook.
"That is Regina´s castle. Thought that we could bring Henry to meet his other mom first." He explains.
"Maybe it´s a good idea. I can really see why she was called the evil queen by looking that place." I sigh, not really sure if I really want my son to go in that place.
"Actually this was originally your mom´s childhood home, so it´s not so evil place." Hook chuckles trying to ease my mind.
"Yeah mom, it´s our family home and I really want to see my mom now." Henry chimes in.
"So let´s go." I say and take Henry´s hand and let Hook lead us to the castle.
We found Regina standing in big hall wearing stunning Red dress which really makes justice to her body. I´m taken by how regal she looks. She on the other hand rushes immediately to hug Henry after seeing us.
"I have missed you so much." She breaths out tears falling from her eyes.
"I have missed you too mom. At least in my heart, though I didn´t know what it was." Henry mumbles to her.
Hearing and watching this breaks my heart. So Henry has been little lost like me and never said a word.
"Could you Regina take Henry for few days? Hook here tells that there is something important my parents like to tell themselves, and I would like to sort this out before taking him in there." I ask her.
I couldn't help but notice the little look Regina exchange with Hook before she answers. "Of course, Henry can be with me as long as he wants."
"But mom, I want to see grams and gramps too." Henry chimes in.
"You will kid eventually, I just like to know where we stand before that. Please trust me in this." I plead to him, because I don´t want to bring him in possible danger or something.
"Ok. I will stay here with mom. But promise to get me there as soon as possible and tell me everything." He says defeated.
"I promise." I say and give his head a quick kiss before we leave with Hook in carriage Regina gave us towards my parent's castle. I´m really anxious to see them, but at the same time I fear what is coming, because it´s clear they all are hiding something from me.
