"Albus, you must know something!"
Albus shrugged, and Rose fumed. James looked at Ryan, and raised an eyebrow.
"Do you know anything?"
Ryan looked up at the Gryffindors, from his spot on the couch in their Common Room.
"It's Albus."
James whooped, Albus rolled his eyes, and Rose placed her hand on her hips.
"You don't know that.", the Weasley, accused.
"Actually, I do. And so does Albus. From day one, their was sexual tension. I just jumped in to have a quick fling with the blond, but once I saw how angry it made you to see Scorpius and I together...", the boy shrugged.
James nodded.
"Your lying.", Rose and Albus said in unison, before Rose looked at Albus in surprise. Albus crossed his arms.
"I get that you just wanted a fling, that makes sense. But what doesn't make sense, is you constantly fighting me, physically, when you know I'm a Potter, just to see me angry."
Ryan growled, and Albus continued. "In fact, even when I didn't fight back, even when you knew I wasn't the least bit mad, you were still fighting me. Fighting me for Scorpius. Why?"
Albus smirked. "Because you developed feelings for him. You care about Scorpius. He's not just some fling, anymore. He's the apple of your eye. I'd even go so far, as to say you're in love with him. Not that it matters."
Albus pretended to examine his fingernails, arrogantly. "You and I both just realized that Scorp and I have wanted each other, since the beginning. And we never stopped wanting each other. Just like, Reign was my distraction, you were Scorpius'. You weren't having a fling with him, he was having one with you. And now?"
Emerald eyes shone, as Albus looked down at Ryan, with his smirk still in place.
"Scorpius didn't make a decision. He didn't have to. The decision was already set in stone, when we first met."
Ryan looked away, a scowl in place. James and Rose looked at Albus in awe. Rose cleared her throat, and began speaking. "Albus I-"
"...always told you, you were a Slytherin, at heart."
Scorpius stood, leaning on the Gryffindor portrait hole, grinning. Albus all but ran over.
"Scorpius, did you-?"
"I heard your whole speech. It must have took a lot of cleverness, to figure all that out. I didn't even know half the things you did. A true Slytherin, just like I told you, way back then."
"But, that's not the point.", Albus whined, and Scorpius laughed at how unbelievably cute the son of Harry Potter was.
"Then what, pray tell, is the point?"
"This."
And Albus dipped Scorpius down, (like they were doing the bloody tango, Scorpius would later say, when they talked about it), and kissed him.
