I would like to aplogise for the delay but to the folks following and reading this I am happy with your patience and I hope you enjoy this latest chapter and give it some good reviews.

Chapter 10: Entering Liar's Berg
After taking care of Knuckle Dragger and getting some new weapons the Vault Hunters and Claptrap made their way out of the old Hyperion transport and up a hill.
"Feeling okay everyone?" Maya asked and everyone said or nodded yes "Good, hopefully the worst is behind us now."
"I wouldn't lose your wits yet minons" Claptrap spoke up and explained "After all this glacier's run by a bandit named Captain Flynt."
"Sounds like you have personal experience with this guy" Axton said noting how Claptrap knows how dangerous this bandit was.
"You bet I do. The jerk kept as his torture plaything for a few months." Claptrap told them "We played games like 'dodge the blowtorch' and don't get dunked into the pool of acid' I was very good at the first one."
"Ohhhhhh, I don't want to meet this guy" Gaige said as they came up to a cliff edge overlooking a small town.
"I guess that's the town where Claptrap's friend is." Alex said seeing it. "Let's get there so we can give Claptrap his vision back cause blind Claptrap is getting old"
As if to prove his point Claptrap fell down the cliff and none of the others even chuckled. The Vault Hunters went after Claptrap being careful.
As they got halfway down a message to all Echo's was played and it was Handsome Jack who said "Attention, People of Pandora! Handsome Jack here. Offering a million bucks to whomever brings me the heads of the Vault Hunters who just arrived in Liar's Berg."
"These include Axton the awol commando, Salvador the Gunzurger who's murdered a whole bunch of people, Maya the Siren who is wanted by the Order of Impeding Storm, Zer0 the assassin wanted for several political assasinations, Krieg the Psycho don't need to go into too much detail there he's crazy that's all, Gaige the Mecromancer who's robot killed another highschool girl and Alex the Naturick."
"All the others can be dead or alive but I want the Naturick alive at least if possible." Jack explained and then said "Oh, and I'm still offering a reward for Roland, the mass-murdering leader of the Crimson Raiders. Good hunting bandits!"
"Well that just made our lives more difficult" Alex said as they made it to the bottom
"Yeah with an award like that we're going to have targets on our backs" Gaige said in agreement.
"Relax mi'emego's maybe none of the bandits got that transmission" Salvador said trying to raise the others spirits
However those are then spilled away when anther transmission came in and said "A million bucks? Alright, boys this is Captain Flynt! I want you to find those Vault Hunters and bring'em to me now!"
"Well so much for that suggestion Salvador" Axton said as the group approaches a closed off gate. "Okay Claptrap get us in here before we spotted by Flynt's men"
"Sure thing" Claptrap said a goes to the console bumping into it. He tried to get it to work but it was busted he then turns to the gate and calls out "Hey Hammerlock!"
Pretty soon a man on the echo contacts them and said "Spectacular, first Captain Flynt's bandits attack, then Claptrap shows up! I must have been horrifyingly cruel to puppies in a previous life to deserve this kind of treatment."
"I doubt anyone would be that cruel to puppies" Gaige said thinking
"Even so looks like the bandits are in there waiting for us" Alex said.
"I say Vault Hunters could you kill Flynt's men for me?" Hammerlock said knowing there were with Claptrap.
"We could but the gate is closed" Axton said into the ECHO.
"Don't worry I'll open it up remotely from where I am" Hammerlock said and the gate begins to open only to stop and fall back down closed and then fall off the hinges flat.
The bandits see the Vault Hunters and a Maruader said "Well look at there boys, The guys Flynt wants us to catch get them!"
There was then a fire fight between the Vault Hunters and bandits, Claptrap doing his best to stay out of the way of fire.
Soon Captain Flynt contacts the Vault Hunters and said "I got a proposition for you Vault Hunters. If you all give up we'll just shoot you all in the head. It'll be quick, clean and a hell of a lot less painful then what Handsome Jack'll do to ya."
"Yeah nice offer but I will have to say no" Alex said as he shoots a bandit dead.
"I think that goes for all of us" Axton said punching one off the ledge letting him fall to his death.
Maya binds another and Zer0 leaps and slices him in half. "Nice move assassin" Zer0 remains quiet but gives a smiley face on his helmet.
Captain Flynt then comes on the ECHO this time addressing his men as he yells "What is WRONG with you boys?! Just kill them slaglicks, so's we can get our reward!"
"Sounds like the captain is getting really annoyed" Gaige said as she blasts another bandit away with a shotgun.
"I guess he thought we'd be easy pickings" Alex said as he watches Krieg slice a bandits arm off.
Suddenly a roar is heard and Claptrap screamed "Oh no Bullymongs! " and sure enough a few of the creatures showed and begin attacking both the Vault Hunter and Bandits.
"I guess these were part of Knuckle Draggers pack" Salvador said as he pulls out two machine guns and starts rapid firing at the bandits and Bullymongs.
"More then likely" Alex said nodding as he and the others get behind Salvador and attack all who get out of the way of the hail of bullets.
Soon the last bandits and bullymongs die and Maya said "Is that the last of them?"
"Looks like it" Alex said looking round.
Soon Flynt contacts them and said "DAMMIT! This isn't over grinders!"
"Well, looks like if we want to get off this glacier we'll have to go through more of Captain Flynt's men" Axton said to his allies
"I agree but we'll worry about that when it comes" Maya said before adding "For now let's focus on sorting out Claptrap."
As if taking that as his queue Calptrap called out to the house on the top of the hill "Hey Hammerlock! Since my minions just saved your town, you wanna do your bestie Claptrap a favour and repair my eye?!"
"Save the town is iffy if Hammerlock is the only one here" Gaige said with thought
"I guess but still Hammerlock should fix Claptrap for us for saving him at least" Alex said nodding
Hammerlock gets on the ECHO sighing as he said "Yes, I suppose I am in your debt now, aren't I? Come to my shack and I shall restore Claptrap's sight, First I shall shut off the electrical fence for you."
The Vault Hunters approach the fence that was clearly electrified and Hammerlock contacts them and said "Please stay back Vault Hunters, let Claptrap go first."
Claptrap begins moving not knowing the fence was still on due to lack of vision the others wanted to warn him but Claptrap kept talking saying "I knew Hammerlock would come around eventually. Me and him are like two peas in a pod! Two bullets in a mag! Two cannabel midgets in a fat guys ribcage!"
He then bumps into the fence and get electrocuted and falls down flat. Gaige concerned said "Is he okay?!"
"Don't worry that fence had enough electricity just to shut him down, he'll be fine" Hammerlock said "Apologies for the ruse but when Claptrap speaks, I feel my brain cells committing suicide one by one. I shall be out directly"
"Can't say I blame him" Axton said with a shrug through that was a bit extreme.
Soon the door opens up and black male human wearing an explorer outfit with a robotic eye, arm and leg comes out of the house and salutes and said to the group "A pleasure to meet you Vault Hunters. I am Sir Hammerlock. At your service."
"I think I read about you," Alex said recognising Hammerlock "Yeah you're the Sir Hammerlock a hunter, scholer and a gentleman rolled into one."
"Indeed that is me my friends, nice to be recognised for my work." Hammerlock said as he made his way down to the gate.
"What are you doing all the way our here anyway?" Maya asked
"You see I came out here to research the Bullymongs for my almanac, but Captain Flynt's men trapped me on this glacier." Hammerlock explained as he got to the gate console "Many thanks for disposing of them by the way, to survive a direct run in with Handsome Jack and defeat Captain Flynt's bandits? Unheard of."
"Don't forget Knuckle Dragger, we took him down too." Axton said
"Technically it was Alex who took him down" Maya corrected the commando
"Really now? You took down Knuckle Dragger yourself?" Hammerlock asked looking at Alex
"Kind of…it's hard to talk about, we'll discuss it later after more important matters" Alex said rubbing the back of his head
"Yeah such as getting to Santuary." Gaige said nodding
"Heading there are you, good to here as I'm heading to Santuary myself and I can tell from what I heard, the Crimson Raiders there could use some heroes like you." Hammerlock said after thinking.
"Really now I wouldn't call our band of misfits heroes yet, a lot of us haven't been exactly pure in our lives." Axton said
"Axton what makes a hero isn't if there pure but there actions, maybe helping the rebels will help you see that" Alex said looking at the commando.
"I will agree with the young one on this my friends" Salvador said nodding "But I think we should fix our robot friend first."
"Good idea" Hammerlock said remembering Claptrap was still deactivated "Now hand me Claptrap's eye please."
"Here you go" Gaige said handing the eye to Hammerlock.
After taking it Hammerlock kneels by Claptrap and begins working and said "Now, I need only to conncet this to this, and…" He then shoves the eye in Claptrap and twists it in and smacks it in "That should do it!" He stands up
Claptrap reactivates and upon finding out he can see calls out "Ha-ha! I am ALIIIVE!"
"Oh dear, he's talking again" Hammerlock said looking down upset that the peace and quiet was disturbed
"Hey Claptrap how's the vision?" Gaige asked smiling
"Minions! Now I've got my Eyesight back and some of you are far uglier then I remembered!" Claptrap said outloud
"I'd watch the insults if you want to keep that vision" Axton said offended
"Sorry, anyway time to join up with the Crimson Raiders in Santuary! This glaicer's full of nothing but murderers or jerkbags, like that Hammerlock dude!" Claptrap said unaware Hammerslock was standing next to him.
"I'm standing right here dude" Hammerlock said offended
"Now I know we're excited or eager to get off this glacier but are we actually fully prepared, we don't know what to expect" Maya said concerned
"I guess your right even if we salvage the ammo and weapons from the dead bandits I doubt it will be enough." Gaige said
"Well, you could use the venders here, now that Liar's berg is clear. I might as well turn on the main power" Hammerlock said and explained "This town is full of things that may be of use to a go-getting slayer of men like yourselves."
"Thank you Hammerlock" Alex said as he and the others followed him to the generator.
"I see our fearless leader Jack is looking for you. Charming fellow isn't he?" Hammerlock said making conversation
"Yeah about as charming as Marcy in history class" Gaige said rolling her eyes.
"Have no idea who that is but I'll agree" Hammerlock said "Anyway Jack spouts drivel about bring peace to the frontier, then shoots unarmed men, women and children like it was going out of style. Bah, I'm spouting exposition again aren't I? Aplogises."
"It's alright…I think we get the picture that Jack is heartless" Maya said horrified to hear some of the cruel things Jack has done.
"Defiantly worse than Marcy in history right Gaige?" Alex said who nods.
"I was surprised to hear he wanted you alive at least, he called you a Naturick right?" Hammerlock said looking at Alex who nods "I thought so, I heard about you from Dr. Cole, we met at a convention a few years ago and he told me about you. It's nice to finally meet you"
"Same here" Alex said nodding
They soon come to the generator and Hammerlock gets it working which turns on all things powered by it including the fast travel stations, gun, medical and ammo venders.
"I don't know guys, do any you have any money to pay for the weapons and ammo?" Axton asked
"I think we lost a bunch of what we brought after the crash" Salvador said thinking
"If it's money your looking for you could check this bounty borad" Hammerlock said going to the inactive board and pounds it "Come on, work, curse you! Ah fecal matter the bounty board's brocken."
"I take it that's bad" Maya asked curious
"Yes, the resistance must have disconnected it before they left for Sanctuary. I planned to post some jobs for you, if you're going staying here for a while. I would gladly pay you for the work."
The Vault Hunters looked at each other the looks they gave were nodding to approve they could stay a while to help Hammerlock with his work he needs done.
Axton said "Sure, if Claptrap can be patient and give us a while till we've done all you need"
Claptrap said "Sure, just let me know when you're ready to leave"
"Excellent, just speak to me when you're wanting to know the job. In fact take this for clearing the town" Hammerlock said handing them some money and shields to use.
"Thanks Hammerlock" Gaige said smiling
"I only hope you're all enjoying Liar's Berg, it used to have a spectacular amount of hustle and/or bustle before it's denizens fled to Sanctuary to escape Jack's army. Most of them anyway."
"What happened to the rest?" Salvador asked concerned
"Well, Captain Flynt's men killed anyone who stayed" Hammerlock said with a bit of unease "Anyway let's get you settled in a house, I'm sure your battle with Knuckle Dragger's pack and Captain Flynt's men you could all use a rest, when you're all rested come speak to me on the jobs I need you to do"
"Sure, a rest sound good" Alex said and the others nod and follow Hammerlock into his shack to have a brief rest for when they're ready they will tackle his jobs

So our heroes made it to Liar's Berg, what jobs does Hammerlock have in store for them find out in the side story but next time on here the Vault Hunters will have to face the wrath of Boom Bewm.
Also when the Side story comes up I will be opening up a poll mainly for quests that are multiple choice stuff in them more on that when the story comes.
