Here's the New chapter !

Yuuki was in a very good mood today, humming to herself she cleaned her room and just stopped in front of her full-sized-body mirror to smile at herself.

The reason being the fact that she easily passed all the tests and interviews and now was one of the ten students selected, with Yori ofcourse.

She played with the edges of her White curtains just besides the mirror.

If only Zero would also agree to this.

Sighing, she remembered last night.

•Flashback•

After changing into her favourite Pj's and tank top Yuuki arranged her hair into a Loose ponytail as she went to the kitchen.

Kaein was as usual fussing with the microwave, he was baking something, she looked at the cookbook Lying on the counter. A beautiful picture of Apple pie greeted her, maybe he was trying to make it.

She Loved Pie, her mouth watered but soon puckered up when she smelled the bitterness in air.

Ofcourse, he Burnt it!

"Dad? Can I help you ?" She quietly said. After 7 Long years she had became habitual of eating such food.

"Oh yes my darling daughter! Please set up the table, I made something special for you and Zero-kun" He chirped.

"Where is Zero anyways?" I asked as i started on my task.

"I don't know, but i highly think that he is plotting as to how to torture his next victim" he replied with a Laugh.

"I was cleaning my weapons"

Both me and dad looked up to see Zero descending down, doning his signature Grumpy Look.

"Oh Zero-kun just in Time! Come join us"

He quietly took the seat besides me and eyed the burnt piece of so called pie.

I couldn't blame him it looked more like a charcoal than Pie, but he started eating it anyway.

By now, my stomach was practically itching with the need to tell them the news of my selection. So, I just looked at them both and started.

"Well I have something to tell you guys" I said barely containing my excitness.

They looked at me as I continued.

"Well, there was this assignment sorta thing which only ten people could participate in and Guess what ? I got selected !" I exclaimed, my face glowing with happiness.

"Congrats my Little Girl!"

" Thanks dad"

" What you guys have to do anyway?" Zero asked.

Well, this was the tricky part and when i said tricky it meant really really tricky, because there was only few things i couldn't get even after i do the puppy eyes thing and THIS was one them. Zero was protective of me since forever and i knew this was something he wouldn't like at all.

"Well, we get our assignments next Monday, its sort of like work experience which could eventually turn into a permanent job, but the real gig is that, I-I have to leave this city and maybe theCountryForAFewDays" I blurted out really fast especially the last part hoping that he wouldn't hear that. But, God of Luck always was angry at me for something.

"Whhatt?" He practically yelled at me, his eyes wide and threatening to pop out anytime.

I squirmed in my seat as I glanced at dad to help me out. He quickly complied.

"Zero -kun it isn't so bad, she is a big girl now she can take care of herself, no matter how clumsy, she is still a vampire"

I looked at Zero again with pleading eyes.

It seemed as he was in an internal battle , his eyes unfocused before regaining their originality. He Looked at me again.

"There is noway you are going anywhere outside this city! Boston is the safest place and don't even think about arguing. This discussion is over!" He yelled as he got up and made his way upstairs.

I wasn't surprised at his outburst, I knew this was gonna happen.

Kaien squeezed my hand slightly.

"He just worries about you too much" He said.

I gave him a soft smile before making my way into my own Room.

•End Flashback•

Yuuki sighed again for the nth time that Day.

This was going to be hard.

Asato was as usual sitting in his study ,Deep in thoughts, plotting out his next move.

This game of Hide and seek had became long.

After 7 long years of searching he was still nowhere near finding about the whereabouts of this girl. How can one little girl manage to hide so well. It was impossible, unless there was something or someone helping her.

He had earlier gone to the Taira Mansion to check the place again for the nth time since last 7 years, he had no luck in finding any clue however.

He sighed.

Suddenly someone opened his door and entered , he didn't had to look up to see who his intruder was, his presence and scent gave away the Identity. Kaname Kuran.

He quickly shot up from his seat to bow at the pureblood.

"You should have called me Kuran-sama" Asato said with a straight face.

"May I know the reason of your presence at the Taira Mansion ? Ichiou." Kaname asked with a blank expression. His inner was full of venom towards this particular man but still his outer appearance remained unreadable.

Ichiou surprised by his sudden question formed a reply in his mind before delivering it to the pureblood before him.

"Yesterday was the day we lost three of our precious Jewels kaname-sama. I was passing from there and couldn't help but go there to grieve for the loss we suffered" He replied with his eyes staring directly into Kaname's. He knew better than to Avert his eyes and make Kaname suspicious than he already was.

There was a heavy silence in the room.

"I see" Kaname said before he got up and made his way towards the door "I truly hope that you are telling the Truth, you know better than to lie to me" he added before leaving the room completely.

Asato exhaled the breath he didn't knew he was holding.

I will deal with you too , Kaname-sama

One week Later.

Yuuki was now officially tired of reasoning her way out with Zero. He wouldn't listen to her requests no matter what the reason.

Sigh.

But besides that today was the day she got her project letter which also included her to be destination of work. She mentally squealed as she thought of the possibilities.

She glanced at the wall clock 7:45am, she was up quiet early today. Which also meant that Zero would be coming at any time to wake her up, she sighed again as she already knew the topic of their next conversion.

Mental Scenario

Zero comes in her room surprised to see her already awake.

"Zero-sama please allow me to Leave for my life long awaited wish! Please I beg you!" Yuuki would say crying a river.

"Yuuki! How many times do i have to tell you ?" Zero would say as he would give her a glare. "No means no"

.Ends.

Yuuki Laughed at the perfect depiction of her situation and felt a little bit sad too. Why was he so...overprotective? It was not like she was the only girl in the world people are interested in.

She sighed again as she made her way to the bathroom for a quick shower.

Zero was laying on his bed with a hand over his eyes , one leg straight and the other dangling off the bed.

There were thousands things going through his mind. His promise to Hana-sama currently dominating his mind.

Protect her.

He knew he had to protect Yuuki at all costs, she was not awake to her true nature but was still vulnerable.

Even though he didn't knew how the seal could be broken, he also knew that nothing was permanent and there was probably a way to break this seal too.

Am I doing the right thing ? Keeping her a prisoner here ? Nowadays Mormos have been increasing and also the danger surrounding her.

He however had already taught Yuuki enough self defense in case she ever encountered one. Silver dipped in holy water, first stab their heart it will slow them down and repeat it with their head , they were a goner after that.

This was the method used by humans ofcourse and vampires of lower class. However the purebloods were completely different case, after a year since they first appeared , purebloods had developed a more advance method to kill them.

They just used their powers to crush their Heart and Brains simultaneously.

He looked at his wrist watch which showed 8:20.

Damn. He got up and went to wake up Yuuki. He opened her Room's door to see that she was already sitting at her bed staring at him. He was shocked was an understatement. She could never wake up so early.

"Zero I need to talk to you" she said her eyes unwavering. "You know, I can take care of myself I'm a vampire and I always keep the dagger you gave me. See" she said as she showed him the silver dagger. "This project is really really really important to me, so please could you go easy on me a little?"

Zero smirked, truth be told he didn't liked this idea one bit but still he knew what he had to do.

"You can go Yuuki" he said as he smiled at her.

Yuuki had closed her eyes after what she said, preparing herself for the lecture she was going to receive , her eyes snapped open at his response.

"Really ?" She asked still not believing it.

"Yes" He again said.

"Thank you so much Zeroo!" She said as she tackled him into a hug, he moved back two steps at the impact and patted her head. "Just don't make me regret it"

"I won't"

.At the university.

Yuuki was on time today actually before time, she couldn't contain her happiness.

She Inhaled deeply and quickly picked up a familiar scent which was coming from the canteen. She went there and quickly spotted Yori buying two cans of orange juice.

"YORI!" She yelled as she ran up to her and hugged her. "Zero agreed!"

Yori trying to gain her balance held the nearby wall for support.

"Wow! Great Yuuki! Now we can be tension free. Finally he agreed. Thankgod" she said happily.

"I know right" Yuuki smiled "lets head back to class, I'm dyeing To see our assigned places"

They chatted happily as the duo made their way towards the class.

After 1 hour of boring lecture, all the ten students were given their peoject letters.

Yuuki looked at her's and was in seventh heaven , the letter clearly telling her destination.

'London'

She asked Yori where she was assigned to. Paris were the words that rolled out of her best friend's tongue. Yuuki smiled at her happily and showed Yori her own letter.

It was all so surreal and unreal that she had to pinch herself to see if it was all real.

Yuuki was literally dancing with Kaein on the peppy music playing on the TV. She was so happy. After dinner and her little dancing workout she retreated to her room and started to pack all her imporatnt belongings in a large purple colored suitcase. She happily hummed to herself, she was going to leave Boston in two days.
