Alize had just finished setting up the gorgeous table setting. She had everything but the food, which she would pick up later and was just setting up the candles when the earth began shaking.

Regina looked up as Belle burst into the den. "I sincerely apologize for not knocking but we have a problem." Both mothers made Henry go upstairs and stay there. Regina tried to call Alize as Belle lead them out into the streets but she couldn't get ahold of her.

"What's the problem?" Emma asked.

"That." Belle said as a massive dark creature with a mane of fire suddenly landed on top of a bright blue miata.

"A yaoguai?" Regina whispered.

"What the hell's a yaoguai?" Emma asked. "That thing?! There's no way we can kill that."

"Water." Belle said. "Water will kill it, or at least weaken it."

"Then we need to get to the docks. Emma take your car and distract it." said Regina.

"That thing will catch me." Emma glared at her.

"Then you should buy a car that doesn't suck!"

Alize tried to call Regina again but got no answer. She pulled up in front of the mansion and got out of the car.

"Alize!" She looked up to see Henry, climbing out of the window onto the roof.

"Henry! What the hell are you-" Her question was answered as a dark creature with a fiery mane tried to grab the boy, but couldn't fit through the window. It roared and raked at him while Henry made his way towards the edge. Alize ran to catch him and was nearly flattened.

"You are much bigger than you look." She groaned and he got off of her. "What's going on?"

"Mom, well both of them, were called away by Belle and they told me to stay upstairs. But that thing came and I ran!"

"We need to get you to your mother. Go get in the car." They ran towards the dark red vehicle and were nearly upon it when the Yaoguai burst out of the front door and attacked the car, tearing it apart. "Okay, not the car! Not the car!" She pulled him away and pushed him ahead of her as they raced down the street. The Yaoguai came barreling after them and Alize shifted on instinct. Her lion form was even larger than before and a quick rake over the creature's face made it double take. She threw Henry onto her back. He hung on for dear life as she propelled herself forward with powerful bunches of her muscles. She lengthened her stride and made herself run faster, forced herself faster as she took off towards down the street.

They came upon Regina and Emma battling another Yaoguai in the town square. Alize let out a thunderous roar and tossed Henry at his mothers before launching herself at the Yaoguai, viciously raking at it with her claws and locking her teeth into its shoulder. It tried to shake her off but she simply reaffirmed her grip and clung on tight.

"Alize, look out!" Henry called as the other Yaoguai came up from behind her and locked its teeth in her back.

"Alize!" Regina cried, unleashing a burst of electricity, fearing for her lover's life.

The Yaoguai barely felt her attack and continued to double team Alize. She fought valiantly, but her claws caught in the hide of one the Yaoguai and she cried out in pain as nearly all of her claws were ripped out of her paws. She struck hard with her paws, but they did little to help. One grabbed her by the neck and tossed her sideways, straight through the window of a nearby store.

"No." Regina gasped. Her magic burst out of her hands, fueled by rage and desperation. She attacked with every offensive spell she knew. Emma stepped up next to her and helped, but nothing they did seemed to have any effect. "Where did they come from?"

"The water." said Belle. "It has to be it. The magic from the water must have something to do this."

"Alize absorbed all of the magic!" Regina raised a shield around them as the two Yaoguai now turned towards them.

"Maybe not all of it. Some of it may have leaked through the dirt." Henry supplied.

"Guess we'll never know, because now we're gonna die." Emma said.

The Yaoguai beat at the shield angrily but Regina held it. All the while, her thoughts were on Alize, laying in the store probably dead or dying. Her stomach threatened to turn at the thought of losing her. The thought of losing Alize was almost...A tear leaked out her eye. The thought of life without Alize was unbearable.

Then a powerful roar shook the ground and the air. Alize arose from the store, completely healed and pissed as hell. Her wounds were completely gone with not even a scar in sight and her claws had regenerated twice as long as before. Fire burned in her eyes. She let out another roar that was so strong that it splintered Regina's shields and Emma had to add to her magic to keep them standing at all. Alize launched herself at one of the Yaoguai, completely disregarding its mane of fire and dug her teeth into its neck. With a twist of her neck, the Yaoguai was pulled backwards and she launched him a full 12 yards down the road. The other managed to knock her off her feet and pin her to the ground.

Regina dropped her shield and launched the nearest car at the creature, effectively freeing her girlfriend.

"Alize, lead them to the well! Or whatever you want to call it now." Belle called.

Regina transported them to the well, slightly annoyed that she didn't think to do that in the first place. Why did she never think to do that? Gold was seated on a rock, staring at the water.

"This is where you've been?! There are Yaoguai running through the town and you're sitting here on a fucking rock?!" Regina roared. Gold didn't acknowledge her and she angrily punched him as hard as she could, nearly breaking the man's jaw. He was on his feet instantly, his magic glowing red in his hands, but Regina was livid and hardly afraid. There was no fear when it came to Alize. "Alize could be dead because of you." She growled.

"You've got a hard touch, Miss Mills, just like your girl. But you better be glad Belle is here or I would end you right here and now."

"Go to hell." Regina said lowly.

A roar made them turn as Alize ran full pelt towards them, the Yaoguai hot on her trail. They moved out of the way as Alize skidded to a halt just in front of the water and turned. The first Yaoguai was going too fast to stop and she easily threw it over her shoulder and into the water. It hissed and bubbled before falling still, clouding over. She turned to face the next one but it barrelled into her and both of them went spiraling into the water.

There was complete silence and Regina was sure her heart had stopped. "Alize?"

A deep puffing sound was heard as a lioness pulled herself out of the water. She shook herself and continued making the deep puffing noise and looking around, no doubt for Regina. She stepped forward and Alize purred as the brunette wrapped her arms around the wet cat. Alize licked her cheek and she scowled, wiping it off before punching her girlfriend in the shoulder.

"What the hell were you thinking?! You could've died!" She roared. Alize lowered her head and flattened her ears. Regina sighed and scratched her behind the ears, evoking another purr from the lioness. "What would I do without you?"

Alize shifted and hugged her tightly. "You would probably be very bored." She smiled. "I'm sorry Gina. I wasn't even thinking, I thought they were going to hurt you. I wanted to protect you, not that you need it most if the time. Please don't be mad."

"I'm not. I was just worried." Regina said, leaning into her embrace, the entire ordeal momentarily forgotten as she relaxed into the arms of the wet blonde.

"That was amazing!" Henry cried as he raced over. "Mom, can you change me into a lion?"

"What?" Regina said.

"No she can't ." Emma cut in.

"On to more important business," belle interrupted. She nodded towards the water. It had turned brown as though a bunch of dirt had been poured into it.

"They were made of dirt?" Emma asked.

"Sure as hell didn't feel like it." Alize murmured.

"Where's Gold?"
