The oldest brother turned in his bed and yawned. The birds were singing their song and they could look at the blonde brother from outside his window. He opened one eye and rubbed it, looking around. He grabbed Robin's picture from his night stand and kissed the glass, since it was his morning rutieel. He put it down again and he climbed out of his bed. He walked to his window and brushed his blonde hair. He looked and frowned, seeing he had to shave again, but it wasn't a big bother since Robin didn't mind beards and he didn't had to go to work or school. He went downstairs in easy clothes and he saw his brother slumped on the dinner table.

"Luf, what's wro-" his black haired brother lifted his head, seeing Ace instead of Luffy. Sabo blinked a few times and smiled "Sorry... You looked like Luffy for a second..." Sabo walked to the kitchen, preparing his breakfast. Sabo was whistling while preparing his cereal.

"Why? Because he also always looked this depressed in the morning?" Ace murmured, nearly audible. Sabo turned to look at him with a cocked eyebrow.

"Yes." Sabo answered, eating his cereal and sitting on the kitchen counter. Sabo's eyes never left Ace's back, mostly in interest but also in confusion. What did Ace think about? Sabo looked around the kitchen table and saw a few used packages for aspirin. Sabo now glanced towards the kitchen counter, seeing a used glass with water leavings in it. Sabo again looked at Ace, and all this while eating his cereal. The blonde brother reached for an empty, clean pan on the stove. He softly grabbed the handle, lift it up and held it above the floor. He still looked at Ace in the progress, seeing what his reaction would be... Will he get shocked or...

Sabo grinned, also enjoying it. Sabo dropped the pan on the floor. Ace yelled and grabbed his head, doing exactly what Sabo thought he would do. "Hangover? You shouldn't drink too much." Sabo said, eating further. Ace turned and glared at his older brother. Sabo cocked an eyebrow, seeing how tired Ace was and how pale he looked. Ace rubbed his eyes and face. He looked at Sabo again and sighed.

"Euhm..." Ace began "I have to talk to you about Luffy..." Ace began. Sabo put his spoon in his mouth and he looked surprised "And mostly because I am afraid I am going to do something to him, I shouldn't do..."

~Flashback~

"Sabo... Could you go and look where Luffy is?" Makino asked worried after she finished dinner.

Sabo looked up from his book and blinked a few times. He looked at Ace and Ace shrugged his shoulders, also in confusion. Sabo put his book on the table and he went outside. It was cold and it was already dark. Sabo walked onto the sandpath, looking around and hoping to find his younger brother. Sabo thought for a few seconds and he already found out where. Luffy was laying in the grass with his strawhat on his head and his hands under his head. Sabo walked towards him and stood still next to him. He was looking at the view while blowing into his hands. He glanced at his baby brother, still seeing him on the ground. Sabo sat down next to him, still blowing his hands.

"Aren't you cold?" Sabo asked looking at him and shivering. "It is really cold." He couldn't tell if Luffy was sleeping or awake, but he was still going to talk to him. "Mom is finished with dinner. I figured you were hungry... I am so I am going home soon..." Sabo explained

"How's it going with your wound? I bet it still hurts... It's only been a week ago... But you are strong so I know you're alright..." Sabo looked into the sky, looking at the beautiful stars. "Well... You are physically strong... Mentally not so..." Sabo murmured. He looked at his baby brother, seeing a single tear coming under his hat and sliding on his cheek.

Sabo sighed and he laid down next to him. He grabbed his cellphone and he dialled home, getting Makino on the phone. "Hi... I found Luffy, but I forgot he still owned me dinner, so we are going to eat somewhere." Sabo said. He looked at Luffy when he finally moved and rubbed his eyes with his fist. His hat slid next to him and he sobbed more. While Sabo still talked further, he ruffled his baby brother's hair.

Sabo put his mobile away and looked into the sky. "Ah! That star is beautiful!" He said, pointing at it. Luffy still hid his eyes and Sabo talked about everything and nothing. He was very bad at comforting people, so he just talked, hoping people would relax more.

~flashback over~

The frontdoor opened and Robin entered the house, seeing Ace and Sabo. Ace sat on his chair, looking at the table and Sabo still sat on the kitchen counter and he stared at the ground. Robin frowned and they looked like statues. "H...Hello?" she said. Sabo got out of his trance and looked at his beauty. He smiled and jumped from the counter. Ace glanced at the couple with tired eyes. Sabo kissed her cheek and he then looked at Ace.

"Sis... Can I talk with you about Luffy?" Ace asked. Robin frowned worried, but she nodded nonetheless.

~Flashback~

Robin turned and she opened her eyes slowly, looking at a sleeping Sabo. She looked at the clock and sees it's very late or early. Robin turned again, causing Sabo's hand to fall from her side. Sabo opened his eyes slowly and Robin smiled, giving a kiss on his forehead.

"I am going to the bathroom." she explained. Sabo nodded and fell alseep fast. Robin crept out of the bed and she put her vest on. She walked to the hallway and she wanted to walk to the bathroom, until she saw lights in Luffy's room. Robin cocked an eyebrow and she walked to Luffy's door. She listened softly and she frowned hearing nothing. Maybe he let the lights on? She knocked a few times. She heard nothing and she opened the door softly, whispering Luffy's name. She looked and she saw him sit on his bed, staring onto a 'red scarlet' comic book. Robin looked apologethic and she closed the door behind her, walking to him. She sat down next to him. He still didn't look up.

"Luffy... It is quite late... Shouldn't you sleep?" Robin whispered. Luffy rubbed his eyes and he hummed

"I can't sleep." he murmured. Robin frowned and she grabbed his comic book. She laid it on his nightstand and she looked at him.

"Luffy... You are like a little brother to me... Seeing you like this really hurts... Is there something I... We can do?" Luffy looked at her, the bags visible under his eyes and the pain expressing through his eyes, but he forced a smile

"No... I never knew something could hurt this much... Even more than the wound on my chest... Even when I open my curtain and see Nami's room and a picture of her and Ace on her nightstand, my heart breaks..." he whispered, still with the forced smile on his face. Robin gulped nothing and her eyes began to tear up. She hugged him because she couldn't do more for him.

"I am sorry. I can't imagine the pain but I know love is what hurts most... I am really sorry." Robin looked at him and she saw him nod his head in sleep. She smiled and laid him down. "I am sorry..." she said again. She turned the lights off and she walked out of his room. She saw Sabo standing with a sad frown, already imagining what happened. Robin looked at him with a sad smile.

~Flashback over~

Robin looked at Sabo, who was holding her hand. She answered Ace's questions and the black haired stood up. He walked towards the front door and he walked outside. Robin frowned and looked at Ace "I am having a slight dejavou from the past..." Robin murmured. Sabo pouted slightly and nodded again.

Ace walked towards Nami's house, and he knew well the back door was always opened. He entered the house and looked around. He heard music from upstairs. He walked upstairs and followed the music. He opened Nojiko's bedroomdoor and he saw her lying on her bed, reading a magazine and moving her foot on the rythem of the music. Ace knocked on the open door and Nojiko looked to see who it was, seeing her ex brother-in-law. "Ace-san?" Nojiko said confused. Ace smiled and entered the bedroom

"I have a question." He said. Nojiko cocked an eyebrow suspiciouness. "About Luffy." her other eyebrow raised now too.

~Flashback~

"Nami! You stole my shoes again!" The tattooed tomboy yelled. She opened Nami's bedroom door, but Nami wasn't there. She frowned mad and she looked around, hoping to find her shoes. She couldn't find them and figured she was wearing them "Figures..." She hissed. She walked to Nami's closet and looked. She smirked when she saw Nami's hotpants and she grabbed them. "We trade." she closed Nami's closet again, but she saw Luffy in his room. Nojiko looked at him seeing rub his eyes on his bed. Nojiko's eyes slowly widened when she looked better. She walked towards the window and she climbed onto the railing. Luffy's eyes slowly widened, seeing something in his eye corner. He looked and he saw Nojiko trying to climb from Nami's room to his room with the tree in the middle of their houses.

"Nojiko!" Luffy yelled, looking at her. Nojiko reached the railing of Luffy's window and Luffy grabbed her hand, pulling her hand. He pulled too hard and she fell into his room. They both grunted and looked at each other, rubbing their heads. Nojiko started to laugh and Luffy looked confused.

"Did I make you happy? You're not thinking about Nami, do you?" she asked with a smile. Luffy's eyes widened a bit, figuring she saw him cry just a moment ago.

"Y...You could have fallen down!" Luffy said in disbelieve.

Nojiko laughed and nodded "I could, but I didn't." she exclaimed. Luffy smiled and appreciate the gesture. Nojiko stood up and grabbed Luffy's hand. "Come on! Let's play cards!"

~Flashback over~

Ace frowned and Nojiko read her magazine further. She looked at him and she sighed. She grabbed something out of her nightstand and Ace looked with confusion. "You brothers are a pain in the ass. Sit down. We'll play cards and I deal." Nojiko explained. Ace looked with widened eyes, but finally a smile turned onto his face.

"Fine, but is it ok with you if I keep asking questions about Luffy." Nojiko smiled and nodded.

Ace went outside again and sighed. He was thinking. He talked with Zoro and Sanji yesterday in the bar and he drank too much... And he saw his baby brother and ex kissing... Ace frowned and stared in front of him... He decided what he was going to do. He looked at his watch and he saw that Luffy's and Nami's school just ended. He sighed and he walked on the sandpath, towards the school.

Kaya, Usopp, Vivi, Nami and Luffy walked on the sandpath and they joked around. Nami and Luffy walked hand in hand and Vivi, Usopp and Kaya were really happy for them, being together. Nami frowned confused when Luffy suddenly let go of her hand. She looked at him and she saw him gazing in front of him. Nami looked too and she stopped walking when she saw Ace. She acted a smile and waved. Ace smiled back and waved too. Usopp looked behind him and he saw Sabo and Robin walking towards them.

"I have a bad feeling..." Kaya whispered. Usopp and Vivi nodded.

"Luffy, Nami." Ace began. Sabo frowned, hearing the tone in his voice. Sabo walked closer towards Nami until he stood behind the orange haired.

"Remember when Ace and Luffy fought about something they both wanted 10 years ago." Sabo whispered in Nami's ear. Nami's eyes widened as she looked at Ace. Luffy looked with an expressionless face. He was more surprised over the tired and pale face of Ace.

"I talked with a few people." Ace said, scratching his head. Luffy still looked at his face and Nami looked worried. "And I am sorry."

"Sorry?" Usopp asked, before Luffy received a fist against his cheek.

"Luffy!" yelled Nami. The other's gasped or just looked perplexed. Sabo grabbed Nami's wrist and Luffy rubbed his cheek, looking at him with a frown. "Ace, why-!"

"You idiot!" Ace yelled on the ferge of crying. Luffy and Nami looked with widened eyes. "I talked with everyone and asked them how you were in the past!" He yelled. "You have been living with the pain for 5 fucking years and I can't even take it anymore for 5 days!" tears rolled down from Nami's eyes listening what he had to say.

"I want to punch the living soul out of you, because you make me so enourmous angry. Because you have been keeping this a secret for so long! Not once thinking about your own feelings! If you ever, EVER, hurt her-" he said pointing at Nami "I will hurt you ten times worse!" Luffy was speechless, seeing all the emotion in Ace's eyes.

"And you won't like what I am going to say... But I will always love Nami..." Ace murmured. Luffy's and Nami's expression softened. "So I am moving out and I will live on my own."

"What!" yelled Nami, Luffy and Sabo. Ace smiled and looked at them.

"I have no idea how you did it, Luffy... Dealing with all the pain... But I can't. So I am going to avoid you both until it doesn't hurt that much anymore."

"Y... You must be kidding..." Luffy said. Ace shook his head with a soft smile. "B...But..." Ace hugged Luffy out of nowhere.

"I am sorry. We were both idiots..." He said. He chuckled even though the two brothers were on the ferge of crying "I appreciate how much you two love me." Luffy chuckled too, a tear rolling down. Nami cried too and hugged them both, repeating 'I'm sorry, I'm sorry,'

"B... But... How are we going to explain mom and dad!" Sabo said in stress. Robin smiled and grabbed his hands.

"Look at them..." She said. "Everything turns all right..."
