A/N: Thanks to everyone for continuing to read. Sorry it has taken me so long to get chapters up but I finally took the time to lay everything out with where I want the story to go and eventually end. So now that I have my direction it is much easier to write so new chapters will hopefully be more frequent. Also I made a few subtle changes in chapters 9 and 10 just to make the whole timeline of everything work a bit better so if you're confused on that at all just check back on those chapters. Please keep reviewing, your feedback is appreciated.
Chapter 11: Adjusting For New Winds
Harry woke the next morning with yet another black blob drifting down over his face. He grabbed his glasses, which had been set behind him the night before, and blew away the dust bunny that was descending down from the old ceiling. Smiling to himself he gazed down at the two beautifully bare ladies that were both begging to stir on his chest. "Well good morning Beautifuls," he said as they woke from his movement.
"Mmm does it have to be?" Ginny asked sleepily.
"Well the sun coming in certainly seems to insist," Harry replied as he leaned down to kiss the top of her head.
"Oh phooey who needs the sun? I much prefer what happens in the dark," Hermione said playfully.
"Well Heaven knows I try to avoid the sun," Ginny replied as she sat up and looked down at her pale complexion.
"Oh I love your skin," Hermione stated and she sat up and leaned over and lightly kissed Ginny's collarbone.
At that moment Harry reached over and punched both ladies on the sides, "Ouch, what was that for you prat?" Ginny reeled swatting Harry's hand away.
"I just had to make sure I wasn't still dreaming," he said grinning. "It's not every day one wakes up to a scene like this."
"Oh if only it could be," Ginny whined. "Gryffindor Tower feels ever so lonely now."
"I'm sorry Love," Hermione replied as she began to sort through the pile of clothes to find her own. "But for this morning you're welcome to use our bathroom to get ready and Harry can have Kreacher get you some new clothes," she offered.
"That would be great. I was trying to figure out how I was going to explain myself to Lavender and Parvati when I showed back up in the same clothes as yesterday."
"Yes perhaps we should give this some time before we announce to the world our little arrangement," Hermione replied.
"Whatever you say Minoe," Harry said grinning as he slowly pulled himself to his feet.
So gradually they all found their own clothing before making their way towards the doors to their rooms. Harry gave the girls one final kiss before turning for the door that led to the stairs of his room. When he got to the top of the stairs however he was greeted with an unfamiliar sight. Gone was his four poster bed, trunk and really any semblance of his own room. In their place in this new much larger room was a bed at least twice the size of any Harry had ever seen in the castle and a trio of armoires. Harry was just noticing the fact that Crookshank's cat house was now sitting right beside Fawk's perch when he heard giggling and looked over to see that Ginny and Hermione were just walking up from a second set of staircases that hadn't been in the room before. When they finally stopped and looked around the room Hermione shared the look of shock that was on Harry's face before finding him with her eyes and asking, "Harry what is this?"
"I don't know," Harry replied. "Did you guys just come up from the same set of stairs you always have?" he asked.
"Yes of course," she replied. "But where are we now?" she asked.
Harry made his way over to the only door in the room and peered inside, "Well this appears to be our bathroom but there are now three sinks as well as an extra shower," he stated.
"Wait did you say three sinks?" Ginny asked, walking over to peak into the bathroom as well. "That's my toiletry bag," she exclaimed pointing to the bag next to one of the sinks.
"Wait a moment," Hermione said walking over to eh armoires and pulling open all of the doors. "Ginny I don't believe we are going to need to send Kreacher for a change of clothes."
Ginny turned and ran over to the left most armoire, "This is all of my things," she said pulling out a shirt or two before pulling her broomstick out from the bottom drawer.
"Yes and the middle one is all of yours Harry, and the other is mine," Hermione clarified.
"But how did this happen?" Ginny asked.
"Well even Dumbledore said he didn't know all of the secrets of the castle. Fred and George learned a lot but they never would have set foot near the head boy and girls room. Apparently this room is somewhat of another room of requirement," Harry explained. "And it seems as though it has decided that the three of us need to share a room."
"Smart room," Hermione said with a smirk.
"So you're saying I live here now?" Ginny asked.
"It seems you have no other choice," Harry replied smiling at her.
"Well then, who's in the mood for a bath?" she asked with a gleam in her eye.
...
News of this new trio's new little arrangement spread quite quickly through the castle over the next couple of weeks. While thy did their best to hide it while in public being three of the most famous people in the country let alone just the school meant that nearly everything they did was being watched by someone. So with every playful glance and each flirtatious action people began to put two and two, or make that three and three together. Couple that with the fact that there was little hiding the fact that Ginny's bed had disappeared from the Gryffindor girls dormitory and she had been seen several times going through the same portrait hole as Harry and Hermione and there was simply no denying it anymore.
Now under any normal circumstance this would have been all anyone could ever talk about but luckily this was the 'Year of Celebration,' and the first Quidditch matches of the season where just around the corner so there was a little something extra riding on them to hold people's attention. This of course came as little relief to Harry and Ginny who were smack in the middle of that as well. Harry found himself relieved that he now shared a room with his two lovely ladies otherwise the only time he likely would have seen them was during classes and practices. While Hermione was far from having loads of free time she had been generous enough to offer both Ginny and Harry massages after a few particularly taxing practices.
Before they knew it the first game was upon them and Hermione was giving each other them a kiss before they headed down to the locker rooms. After the team was dressed and ready to go Ginny stood before them, "Alright guys there's a bit of a wind coming from the west today so we'll need to lag off a bit on the weak side passes. In the past Hufflepuff has played very defensively but with Ernie Macmillian as their captain I expect they'll come out fighting. Ernie's always been a bit of a loudmouth and I'm sure he's told his team to play fast especially with this wind." Harry watched her in awe as she described to them an entire game plan set up to exploit every mistake Hufflepuff was sure to make given the conditions and a counter for it. "I said have you got that Harry?" she asked bringing Harry back from his stupor.
"What oh yeah, yeah, sure. Keep to the west," he replied.
"And why is that?" Ginny questioned.
"Because that's where the sun sets?" Harry asked grinning sheepishly.
"Ahh no it's because Hannah's hates tying her hair back so it will likely be flying in her face from that direction making it difficult for her to track your movements."
"Oh yes of course, her hair," Harry mentioned.
"Careful Harry," Seamus called. "She's likely to hold out on you if you don't listen up," he teased bringing about a glare from Ginny and a fit of laughter from the rest of the team.
"Let's just get out there," Ginny directed and they all followed her out onto the pitch.
After their brief instructions from Madam Hooch and a forced handshake between Ernie and Ginny the balls were released and the teams kicked off. The match played out exactly as Ginny had described it would. Hufflepuff played aggressively but sometimes too much so meaning whenever Jimmy or Ritchie were able to time the bludger right Demelza was able to sling it back down to Seamus who was cherry picking for an easy goal. As was usually the case Harry watched a bit too much of the game and occasionally had to be brought back to it by a rouge bludger or two. With Gryffindor up 110-70 Harry finally found the glint of gold he had been looking for. Unfortunately it was at the far east end of the stadium so he was forced to dive low to try and avoid Hannah. She saw where he was going but Harry knew it was too late as he had at least 50 yards on her until the snitch made a beeline up and west seemingly straight towards Hannah. Harry pulled his Firebolt to a screeching halt and turned just in from of Neville and headed back towards the snitch which was now directly between him and Hannah. At that point Harry really didn't feel like breaking every bone in both his and Hannah's bodies with a head on collision but he really, really didn't feel like loosing so he got as aerodynamic as possible and sped towards her. Just feet away Harry saw the fear in her eyes and just as Harry reached for the snitch Hannah veered left narrowly avoiding Harry. Harry's wrapped his fingers around the fighting ball for a moment before holding it high for the crowd, which was now roaring enthusiastically, to see. Moments later Harry was tackled back to the ground by his entire team as they celebrated together. When they finally collected themselves Ginny wrapped her arms around Harry and kissed him hard as the rest of the team laughed around them.
"Umm yeah great job Harry but excuse me if I just go for a nice bro hug," Seamus said laughing as she grabbed Harry's hand and patted him on the back. Even Ginny laughed at this while keeping her arms firmly around Harry until an elated Hermione found her way over to both of them and pulled them each into a tight embrace with the whole school still watching.
"Well I guess the cat is officially out of the bag now isn't it," Harry said smiling at the two ladies.
"I guess so," Hermione replied blushing a bit.
"Now there's only one thing to decide," Harry stated.
"What's that?" Ginny asked.
"Who has to tell Ron?" The three of them smiled at each other, a mixture of joy and dream etched on their faces.
