Continued from previous chapter

"Just remember there is no way any of them possibly could be in this room waiting to kill you." Fury said.

Perhaps he thought they made me promise not to say anything or perhaps he actually knew about the betraying thing. But maybe he was right. Maybe I should tell him and the people would never know. However something happened that changed my mind. I heard an explosion come from somewhere else on the airship and then alarms started to go off. An Agent of SHIELD came to Fury's office and knocked on the door. I saw her nametag which said

"What is it Agent Hill?" Fury said to her.

"Someone set of a bomb in one of compartments and there is a huge fire. We have being working on trying to fix it but we need more help," She looked specifically at the Avengers.

"I would like to help," Steve said patriotically.

"Avengers go and help stop fix the compartment and stop the fire," He said. Fury left the room with all of Avengers. Before he left Mr. Stark said to me "Stay here and don't go anywhere, it could be dangerous". He then shut the door and locked it. I sat in the office by myself. All I could hear was the alarm going off and it was getting annoying. Then I heard the door being opened. It wasn't Fury or one of the Avengers that walked in but a person in a SHIELD uniform. His faced was covered with a Balaklava and he was wearing no name tag.

"Did you say anything?" he asked hastily

"What do you mean?" I asked in return. I disliked it when people didn't give context.

"About the kidnapping?"

"I did say I was kidnapped,"

"I mean about how you are alive?"

I knew he was referring to how I was meant to betray the Avengers.

"No,"

"And were you going to?"

I was thinking about it but I decided to lie "Of course not," I replied.

"And if you do you know your fate,"

"Death,"

"Exactly." The guy looked at his watch. It looked pretty expensive "I have to go now people will get suspicious of my departure,"

He went out of the office and locked the door. He was pretty smart as this was the only room in the entire airship with no security camera, or so I was led to believe. I thought about this guy. This meant that there was some kind of double agent in SHIELD. This is how they knew about me going to live with Aunt Pepper and Mr. Stark as well them being able to know about Thor going to Stark Tower so they could poison him. That is also how they knew the perfect time to 'kidnap' me as they knew when the Avengers were not in the house together. This organisation was very smart. I spent five minutes sitting down listening to the alarm blur away and I was nearly going to rip it off the wall in frustration when it stopped. Soon enough the Avengers and Fury returned.

"Are you Ok?" Mr. Stark asked me

"I am fine, but the question is are you okay?" I noticed they had burn marks and were covered in ash and dust.

"Explosives stronger than I imagined," Thor said like he was amazed at it. "Do we have any food?"

"No Thor we aren't going to have any food," Steve said shaking his head in frustration. Thor frowned. A hungry Demi-God is a sad Demi-God.

"So let's continue from before," Fury said. "Is there anything in particular you want to tell us about the kidnapping?"

I thought for a second about my response. I could tell them but then I would die and they would feel really bad for bringing me into this. But then I could conceal it and tell no one but then I would feel guilty which would make me act weird around the Avengers all the time. I hate making tough decision and none were as tough as this before.

"Well you see um…" I rambled.

"Just be honest," Steve said. He always believed honestly is the best policy.

"I might die," I said quietly.

"What?" Mr. Stark said.

"They said if I said anything I would be killed," I said "I know this is about saving the world but I kinda want to live,"

"Sacrifices are sometimes necessary," Fury added.

"We can't, she might die," Mr. Stark pleaded. "I promised I would take care of her,"

"Is the fate of one thirteen year old girl more important than the safety of the world?" Fury shouted loudly. All the Avengers paid attention and judging by their facial expressions they all had a different opinion of what should happen. Fury noticed that everyone was speechless and continued to speak. "To convince Joanne I will tell her about the organisation."

"At least we know agree on something," Tony Stark said referencing before when he wanted to tell me about the organisation.

Fury started to talk "After Loki was defeated in New York and sent back to Asgard there obviously was positive and negative reactions. One group of people decided they wanted to follow in Loki's smug footsteps and control the world, with the help of other realms. They recently managed to contact a realm using some complicated science and threatened that they would use the secrets they discovered to wipe out America and then the rest of the world. They use Loki as inspiration and as a symbol but as far as we know he is not involved with them."

"My brother would never associate with mere mortals," Thor added.

"That is why I contacted the Avengers, including Thor who of course came from another realm, especially after they killed all the SHIELD agents in our secret base in a location I can't say. But somehow they know everything."

"I know how," I said. I'd decided to tell them. After hearing who these people were I decided it was best that I help stop them before it was too late.

"How?" Fury asked like he was in a rush.

"There is someone in SHIELD, like a double agent, and he was on this Airship before I saw him." This is what I said but 'I am so dead' is what I thought.

"Just as I suspected." Fury said. "What did he look like?"

"He was wearing a mask and had no name tag but I noticed he was wearing a really expensive watch,"

"We'll have to look out for people with expensive watches,"

"And also they wanted me to spy on you guys and report back to them,"

"What?" they all said in surprise.

"They said that if I didn't I would be killed. I am guessing they wanted me to be their eyes whenever this SHIELD double agent couldn't hear information."

"We need to put you in maximum security immediately!" Mr Stark said. "We can't risk her dying. Why did you say it? I'd prefer it if you betrayed us and then you would be alive,"

"I am alive," I reminded him.

"Stark that is a good idea. We are taking you to a maximum security underground place in a secret location and no one.." he looked at all the Avengers and Mr. Stark especially "Can tell anyone!"

"Yes, sir," They all said.

And that is where I am headed. A maximum security place underground somewhere. If I complained about the Stark Towers, a luxury mansion, then I knew I would hate this place.
