"Last Time on Total Drama: A Season at Sea, the contestants had a boat race through the Bermuda Triangle! There were winners and losers and in-betweeners! The Krakens took the victory for the second time in a row! Meanwhile, Ezekiel managed to convince Dakota to vote out Duncan when the Seals lost for the third time in a row! We're down to the final eleven, and I have a very special surprise waiting for them on the Caribbean Island of Curacao!"
Team Kraken was enjoying the Lido Deck.
"See? This is what hard work and dedication gets you." Courtney said, "Take note, Zoey."
Zoey nodded, basking in the sunlight.
"The weather is amazing!" Bridgette said, swimming in the small pool provided to them.
"It sure is." Geoff said, drinking a smoothie.
"Where do you think we'll stop next?" Zoey asked.
"Somewhere amazing and tropical, no doubt." Courtney said.
"Hopefully." Bridgette said.
"Knowing Chris, he'll probably pick somewhere crappy." Geoff said.
Courtney thought about this.
"You have a point there." Courtney said.
"Chris is terrible." Zoey agreed.
Bridgette shrugged, sipping a smoothie.
"Dude, what is that?" Tyler asked, poking the bowl of gruel.
"It looks like... sludge." Brick said.
Tyler shrugged and shoved some in his mouth.
"Okay people, We cannot get get second place again." Heather spat.
"What do you suggest we do?" Dawn asked.
"Win!" Heather shouted.
Lindsay skipped in.
"Hi, guys! How's it going?" She asked.
"Why are you so happy?" Tyler asked.
"We're in the Caribbean! Duh!" Lindsay said, "This is where the pirates are!"
"Pirates?" Dawn asked, "You don't think Chris will be desperate enough to base our challenge off of that movie do you?"
"Who knows?" Brick asked.
"Chris loves to make references. So maybe." Heather said.
Dawn sighed.
At this point, Dakota and Ezekiel entered to get some gruel.
Dawn shivered.
Dawn Confessional: I've been getting some sort of vibe coming from Team Seal. It's pure evil. But I just don't know who it's coming from...
Dakota grabbed her bowl of gruel and plopped herself down on her table.
Ezekiel grabbed his bowl and sat down across from her.
"So that's when I though, hey. Why not just snatch the million, aye?" And so then-" Ezekiel said.
"Look. I could really care less." Dakota said, "I just want this challenge to be over with."
"But the challenge hasn't even started yet." Ezekiel said, confused.
"Exactly." Dakota said, slightly annoyed by Ezekiel's obliviousness.
"Contestants! Please meet me on deck! We will be docking soon!" Chris announced over the PA System.
"Thank god." Dakota said to herself.
Chris was smiling when the contestants reached the main deck.
"What are you so happy about?" Courtney asked.
"It's almost challenge time!" Chris cheered.
"And?" Heather asked.
"This one is special!" Chris cheered.
Heather rolled her eyes.
"So here's the jist!" Chris said, "I will be giving you a map. Since we are in the Caribbean, it won't be an average map! It'll be a treasure map!"
"I knew it." Dawn sighed.
"Psychic Powers?" Chris asked.
"No. It's just that you're extremely cheesy." Tyler pointed out.
Chris narrowed his eyes. "Your task is to find the loot that your map takes you to. Once you find the loot, your job is to make your way to the boats. There will be three boats, each equipped with a canon. Your job is to make your way to the small island country of St. Vincent and the Grenadines! Whichever team manages to get there first wins and gets to keep whats inside of their treasure chest!"
"Alright." Heather said.
"Oh and one more thing! You can knock the other teams out of the game by destroying their ship with your canon. If your boat is destroyed, you can still win if you manage to make it to St. Vincent and the Grenadines before the other teams, which will be virtually impossible!" Chris laughed.
"Is that it?" Bridgette asked.
"...Pretty much." Chris said.
"Well that isn't too hard." Dakota said.
"Well it will be for you guys. The Terrible Twosome will have to man that whole ship by themselves!" Chris said.
"Aw man." Ezekiel whined.
"We can do this. No problem." Dakota said,
"Be prepared to lose. Yet again." Courtney said, laughing.
Dakota rolled her eyes.
"Whales! Here is your map." Chris said, holding out a roll of paper.
Lindsay went to grab it, but Heather intervened.
"Hey!" Lindsay said.
"What?" Heather asked, "Still hung up on being the leader?"
Lindsay pouted.
Heather rolled her eyes.
"Krakens, here is your map." Chris said, holding it out for them.
Courtney grabbed it and unrolled it.
"Oh, well this shouldn't be too hard." Courtney said.
"And Seals! Since you have the least amount of players, I've decided to give you the shortest path!" Chris said.
"How generous." Dakota said, sarcastically.
"I could always have you switch with the Whales. They have the most complicated one." Chris said.
"Oh, um. No thanks! We'll take the shorter trail!" Dakota said.
She and Ezekiel flashed cheeky smiles.
"Mhmm." Chris said.
"When can we start?" Courtney asked.
"Now!" Chris said.
All of the contestants scrambled to get off the boat.
"Get out of the way!" Courtney shouted.
"Ow! Stop stepping on me!" Lindsay cried.
"What is that, aye! Don't put that there!" Ezekiel screamed.
They eventually made their ways out of the boat, going their different directions.
Heather Confessional: I don't know how clever Chris thinks he is, but-
Geoff Confessional: ...This is going to be the easiest-
Ezekiel Confessional: ...Challenge-
Lindsay Confessional: Ever!
The Krakens were running on their path, which was marked with purple markers.
"How long is the way?" Geoff asked.
"Not that long. Not too close!" Courtney said.
"Oh great." Bridgette said.
"Whoa! What is that doing here?" Courtney asked, stopping in her tracks.
Standing in the middle of the path was a giant brick wall.
There were four ropes attached.
"Don't tell me we have obstacles..." Zoey sighed.
Geoff facepalmed.
"If this is Chris' idea of making things challenging, it really isn't working!" Courtney laughed.
She grabbed the rope and began to climb.
Before she reached the top, she fell.
"Are you okay?" Geoff asked.
"That rope is covered in gel or something!" Courtney said, dusting herself off.
Geoff grabbed his rope and began to climb.
He was so close to the top.
And then he fell, too.
"Ow!" Geoff cried.
"These ropes are covered in slippery gunk, how are we supposed to climb them?" Zoey asked.
"... I have an idea!" Bridgette said.
"Okay... so this map says to walk down the coast. We should find it eventually." Dakota said.
"Great, aye! We could win this thing!" Ezekiel said.
"Don't count on that yet. We only have two people and we have to man a boat." Dakota pointed out.
"Oh yeah..." Ezekiel sighed.
"If only Duncan were here. Or Mike." Dakota said, "I would even go for Anne Maria."
Ezekiel shrugged and looked over Dakota's shoulder and at the map.
"I don't even know why I'm on this show." Dakota said.
"What do you mean, aye?" Ezekiel asked.
"Well, my therapist, and Dawn, told me once that my hunger for fame was really a cry for love." Dakota explained.
"And?" Ezekiel asked.
"Well..." Dakota started, "I already found love. I have Sam. And I've made so many awesome friends. Duncan, Mike, Zoey, Dawn..."
"Me!" Ezekiel smiled.
"... sure." Dakota said, unenthusiastic.
Ezekiel rolled his eyes.
"Okay, it says that we only have to go a few more meters and we can make it." Dakota said.
"How do you think it's marked?" Ezekiel asked.
"I dunno. Probably with a big X or something." Dakota said.
"How about a treasure chest suspending over a vat of toxic waste?" Ezekiel asked.
Dakota dropped the map and stared forward.
Her biggest enemy had returned.
Toxic Waste.
"We've been walking for, like, twenty minutes." Lindsay sighed, "I'm getting tired!"
"Suck it up!" Heather said.
"Your cruelness derives from the lack of love given to you by your parents." Dawn said simply.
Heather stopped in her tracks, her eye twitching.
Heather Confessional: How. Did she. Know. That. *Shudders*
"How long is this walk?" Tyler asked.
"It's not that long." Heather said.
"What's your estimate of how fast we'll get there, ma'am?" Brick asked.
"I don't know... maybe like an hour." Heather said, absent-mindedly.
"An hour?!" Tyler, Brick, Lindsay, and Dawn asked in unison.
"Stop bugging me!" Heather said, "Here! You take the map!"
She shoved the map in Brick's face.
"Alright." Brick said.
Heather rolled her eyes and crossed her arms.
"Heather..." He said.
"What?" Heather asked.
"You've been holding the map upside down." Brick said.
"What?" Heather asked, flocking him. "That's impossible."
"Look." Brick said, pointing. "The Compass Rose is upside down."
"How could I have missed that?" Heather asked.
"Your finger was probably covering it." Tyler sighed.
"So we have to walk back?!" Lindsay asked, "I can't do this anymore!"
Tyler sighed and picked up Lindsay.
"Yay!" Lindsay cheered.
"That's just great!" Heather sighed.
"Let's start walking..." Dawn said.
Bridgette had climbed over the wall.
She had her sweater in her hand.
"Just use something to wipe off the gel!" Bridgette called over.
Geoff took off his shirt and used it as he climbed.
Geoff stood on the top of the wall.
"I'm the king of the world!" He laughed.
The sun hit his abs perfectly.
Bridgette's eyes went wide.
Her mouth dropped and smiled.
Bridgette Confessional: He was sooo hot! I can't believe I was keeping myself from him, how could I ever do that to my schoon- Stop! Keep it together, Bridgette!
Bridgette shook her head, refusing to look at Geoff.
Geoff jumped off the wall.
Courtney took off the sweater she wore over her white blouse and used it to take the gel off.
"What about me? I don't have anything!" Zoey called.
"Here! Catch my shirt!" Geoff announced.
He threw the pink shirt over the wall and Zoey caught it.
"Thanks!" Zoey called.
She used the shirt to wipe off the gel and shimmied up the rope.
"Excellent plan, Bridge!" Courtney said.
"Thanks!" Bridgette said.
"Now all we have to do is get the treasure chest." Geoff explained.
Zoey jumped off the wall and gave Geoff his shirt back.
Look! There's the treasure chest!" Courtney said.
And it was true.
Right in front of them was the treasure chest.
Bridgette and Zoey grabbed it, pulling as they walked.
"This is going smoothly guys!" Courtney cheered.
"Well, I'm not getting it. No way." Dakota said, crossing her arms. "You do it."
"No way!" Ezekiel said, "I barely got un-gollemed, aye!"
"Well I was a fifty foot tall freak! Get it!" Dakota said.
Ezekiel rolled his eyes and got near the vat of Toxic Waste.
It was bubbling.
Ezekiel took a deep breath and lunged for the treasure chest.
He grabbed it and the rope that suspended it snapped.
He went tumbling with the treasure chest, narrowly missing the vat of toxic waste.
"Yes!" Dakota cheered.
Ezekiel dragged the treasure chest.
"Hurry up! I'll meet you at the dock!" Dakota shouted.
"Okay! It won't be... that long, aye!" Ezekiel said, struggling.
Dakota ran off, leaving Ezekiel in charge of the treasure chest.
"Why is this so heavy?" Ezekiel asked himself.
He began to run, hoping it would help.
Thirty minutes later, the Whales found their chest.
"Finally." Heather cried.
"We could still win this thing!" Tyler cheered.
"Woo-hoo!" Lindsay cheered.
"Come on! We still have to make it back to the dock!" Dawn pointed out.
"Brick, Tyler! Grab the chest." Heather commanded.
Brick and Tyler did as they were told.
Heather smirked.
Lindsay frowned.
Lindsay Confessional: Urg. Why can't I be taken seriously like Heather? What does Heather have that I don't?! Besides a... a mean personality...
Brick and Tyler picked up the chest and began to run.
Heather, Lindsay, and Dawn followed.
The Krakens and the Seals were already in the water.
"Fire!" Dakota shouted.
She was currently manning the ship as Ezekiel was manning the canon.
Ezekiel stuffed a canon ball into the canon and lit the fuse.
The canon went off and the canon ball went into the air.
"Watch out!" Zoey cried.
She ducked as the canon ball whizzed past her head.
Bridgette dropped to the floor as the canon ball almost hit her.
Instead, it hit the ship's mast.
"Agh!" Courtney cried, as she manned the ship.
"Geoff! Fire another canonball!" Courtney commanded.
Geoff nodded and grabbed a canon ball.
He put it in the canon and fired it.
The canon ball compromised the ship's integrity.
"D'ah!" Dakota cried, "Fix it!"
"I can't! I have to man the canon!" Ezekiel said. "You fix it!"
"I can't! I have to steer the boat! Just keep firing! Aim for the hull or something!"
Ezekiel nodded and fire another canon ball, this time aiming for the belly of the ship.
The Kraken's ship rumbled.
"Ah!" Bridgette screamed, "This is insane!"
"We aren't that far!" Courtney said.
"I can see the island from here!" Zoey ageed.
"Keep on firing?" Geoff called.
"Yes!" Courtney commanded.
Geoff stuffed a canon ball into the canon and fired.
The Seal's boat rumbled.
"We're going down!" Ezekiel said.
"Fire another shot!" Dakota called.
Ezekiel did as instructed and hit the Kraken's ship in the rear.
That's when the Seal's boat collapsed.
"Agh!" Dakota cried.
They were sinking.
"Abandon ship, aye!" Ezekiel said.
He jumped off.
Dakota jumped off after him.
"Keep going! We can make it!" Zoey said.
"We're falling apart!" Courtney cried.
"Still! Try!" Bridgette cried.
"Fine!" Courtney sighed.
Ten minutes later, the Whales were in the water, sailing for St. Vincent and Grenadines.
"It's smooth sailing from here!" Tyler cheered.
"We can still beat the others!" Dawn agreed.
"Hey! What is that?" Brick said, pointing to a wooden pole in the water.
"That looks like a mast!" Heather said.
"Heather! Shut up!" Lindsay said.
Heather snapped around.
"What?" She asked, in disbelief.
"S-shut up!" Lindsay said, trying to maintain her bad girl persona.
"Lindsay I don't get it..." Tyler said.
"You shut up too then! You stupid... face!" Lindsay said, "Take control of the canon in case we see the other team!"
"Fine..." Tyler mumbled, walking over to the canon.
"Heather! Get out of the way so I can man the ship!" Lindsay said.
Heather moved out of the way, shocked.
"Thanks!" Lindsay chirped, "I mean. Good."
Lindsay Confessional: It's working! They're starting to think of me, as like, a leader! Yay! ... I just feel kinda mean doing this..
"Hey! Is that Dakota and Ezekiel?" Dawn asked, pointing to two people in the water.
"It is!" Brick said, "Should we help them?"
"No! They'd only get a free ride to St Vincent's! Let them swim!" Heather said.
"Rude!" Dakota called from down below.
"We can hear you, aye!" Ezekiel shouted.
"We don't care!" Heather shouted.
The Whales continued to sail, they weren't having any troubles.
The Krakens were a different story.
"Water is seeping into the lower deck!" Zoey informed, running onto the maindeck.
"We're only a few kilometers away!" Bridgette informed.
"We can still make it! Go faster!" Geoff said.
"I'm trying!" Courtney cried.
They began to sink slowly.
At this time, the Whales passed them up.
"Looks like you guys are in a rough situation, huh?" Heather called from her boat.
"Fire!" Courtney shouted.
"What good will it do?" Geoff asked.
"Just get out of the way!" Courtney said, pushing Geoff.
She put a canon ball in the canon.
She then fired.
It hit the Whales' ship, compromising it's integrity.
"No!" Heather said.
"Hurry! Do something! Patch it up... losers!" Lindsay said. "Tyler, Brick!"
"I know that we're in a dangerous situation, but no! I'm not doing it!" Brick said, stubbornly.
"I'm sorry. You've been acting like a jerk this whole boat ride! I'm not doing it either." Tyler said.
"Heather! Dawn!" Lindsay said, desperate.
"As if." Heather said, "You do it."
"Look! I'm sorry, guys. I thought being a jerk would help me be a leader. But I know that that's not true. So please? Pretty please?" Lindsay begged.
Silence.
"Fine." Tyler said.
"I'll help, too." Brick smiled.
Lindsay clapped.
"Alright, let's try to get to the island!" Heather said.
"Woo-hoo!" Lindsay cheered.
She ran to the ship's wheel and set the course for St. Vincent's.
The Krakens were in the water.
Geoff was floating on the treasure chest.
"Hurry! Swim for the island!" Courtney said.
"We're going to lose either way! They have a ship!" Zoey pointed out.
"But we still might get second!" Courtney said.
"Swim!" Bridgette agreed.
"This is just great!" Dakota sighed, as she swam.
The duo were only a few meters behind the Krakens.
"We can still get second, aye!" Ezekiel said.
"Not likely! Eat my foam, losers!" Courtney laughed.
Dakota growled.
"Hey! Watch it, aye!" Ezekiel said, getting water in his eyes from Zoey's kicks.
"Sorry!" Zoey said, "Do you want me to stop?"
"Yes!" Ezekiel said.
"No!" Courtney, Bridgette, and Geoff said.
The Whales reached St. Vincent's first.
"Yes! We won!" Heather cheered, stepping onto the island.
"Woo-hoo!" Tyler cheered.
Brick and Dawn hugged, jumping up and down.
Lindsay smiled and clapped.
Chris, who was standing on the beach, smirked.
"Congrats, Team Whale! Now we just have to see who gets second!" Chris said.
It was a neck and neck tie between the Krakens and the Seals.
Courtney reached the island first, followed by Dakota.
Bridgette and Geoff reached the island after them.
Zoey washed up on the shore, just seconds before Ezekiel.
"Second place goes to the Krakens! Seals! You're heading to elimination!" Chris said.
"Awe man." Ezekiel sighed.
Later that night, Dakota and Ezekiel sat on the bleachers.
"Since there are only two of you, I've decided to hold an epic tie-breaker that will test your-" Chris began.
"Save it." Dakota said, "I quit."
"What?" Ezekiel and Chris asked in unison.
"I'm done with this show. I have to get back to Sam." Dakota said, smiling.
"Aw, how sweet. Gross. But sweet." Chris said, smiling.
Dakota got up and jogged down the Deck of Shame.
She placed herself on the Plank of Losers.
"Sam, here I come!" Dakota shouted as she jumped off.
"And it looks like it's just Ezekiel." Chris laughed, "Come back next time to see a big shift in the team dynamics! Only on the next installment of Total Drama: A Season At Sea!"
Well that was it! What'd you think? How did you feel about Dakota quitting? Ezekiel is the only member left on Team Seal now, do you think they'll lose the next challenge? What is this big shift in team dynamics? Who will return? Leave a review and tell me what ya think!
