Previously on 'What's My Age Again?':
Regina and Neal diffuse Charming family tension by commandeering Emma and Henry respectively. Taking advantage of the situation, Regina asks Emma for advice on her new thing with Neal. Meanwhile, back at the diner….
Chapter 10 ½ : Food For Thought
Charming watched Emma, Regina, Neal and Henry leave the diner, then turned back to his wife who was looking disapprovingly at him. A couple of seconds of silence passed, but Snow gave no explanation for her annoyance. Eventually, David couldn't take it any longer.
"What?" he asked.
Snow gave him a stare of disbelief. "You really don't see anything wrong with the behaviour you've just exhibited?" she asked sardonically.
David laughed. "What, with Hook? He's a pirate! One who obviously spent the night with our daughter! My behaviour is perfectly justified," he replied haughtily.
"Justified? David, you just glared at the man so much he felt he had to leave! You need to get over this stupid protective father thing you've got going on and accept him as Emma's choice," Snow berated, "Otherwise, I'm kicking you out of the bedroom."
She picked up her bag and strutted out of the diner, leaving a dumbstruck David behind her.
End note: It's a mini chap, isn't it adorable! (in size, not in content..) Normal size chapters should resume with the next update, and chapter 11 or 12 will be dealing with the change back to adults, so would love to hear your thoughts on that.
