Sabers rebirth chapter 10 soldier of winter/broken shield

This chapter will cover the event before, after and during winter soldier with Shirou and Ichigo as well as Ruri setting up some events for getting ready for infinity war I will also go into bucky pov a little

Ichigo pov Latveria Ichigo's castle

I just got back from school and has running my country for the summer, I was in control during college but it was more or less most of it was making the final say or leaving class only for life and death matters. The people of the country knew of me but I rarely showed my face to them. I wasn't sure how if they viewed me of a good queen or just better than Doom. The biggest issue with the country was freeing it from the grasp of Doom, the first step was getting rid of every last statue of the madman and he had a lot, I had now became their de facto god in Doom's place just from my display of control of the so called angels of light army. The next goal was building a real economy doom made money from selling his tech so after selling the tech doom left behind the area did have lots of metals to sell so mining became the new major economy. After getting that set up was renaming all the cities that came down to the Sternritters they would have contests with the winners getting to rename cities after them.

The first major conflict the country had after reconstruction infiltration by a man with a mask and metal arm with a red star on it and he also had long stringy hair, the man made it past all of the weaker quincies but when the he met the Sternritters he ran to the nearest border to be picked up at least half dead by cloaked jet before we could find him.

Winter soldier pov

I completely failed the mission lucky to make it to my handler I learned one thing the country was ruled by some kind of god queen with a super human army with light based powers as well as flight and other enhanced powers. When I got back to base I sat in my chair and waiting for healing. I heard the voices of handler 1 saying "winter soldier didn't fail his mission completely, we learned base powers of the new royal army and the queen doesn't want to fight based on her last words to winter soldier of 'stay away and leave us alone or I will hunt you and your group down.' We also know that said army is insanely powerful with the face they did what every other local army did by taking out Doom. We believe Doom is alive and in hiding around the borders of Latveria if we find him Doom may be willing to help us if we help him." Before the 2nd handler came in a man in suit came in and said "damage report" handler 2 said "he took laser burns to 20% of his body, broke several bones and his arm mechanical arm is more or less scrap we can have him online for the next mission in 6 months." The man in the suit said you have 2 put him in healing status and get him to at least 75%. We have to have him kill the current head of the Hadou family before Insight launches." Those were the last words I heard before they put me under.

Shirou pov Miskatonic University 2 months later

I went for the same college path as my other self with as an archaeology student on the surface with magic theory as my true major over the summer I compared notes on my field of magic studies with Rin it turns out my courses were more designed for general magus while Rin's were much more focused on self study and experimentation it would overall help me become a more well rounded magus with potential for a real world career over Rin's as a magic researcher. I also used some of my archaeology knowledge to help Ichigo build Latverian economic base, it turns out the country of my wife also was rich in the gems needed for Tohsaka and Edelfelt Jewel Magecraft but due to the isolationist nature of our new home know body figured out heck is Doom figured out he may have been able to win. Rin was very proud of her sister wife for the fact Ichigo gave her a reason to lord of her rival/2nd cousin Luvia, besides just showing pictures of our son to lord over her as well.

Back at school I found my other self's granddaughter was in most of the same courses except my minor courses in politics. Ruri's major was business with minor in archaeology/magic theory I wasn't sure if she had the same element/origins as me but I would ask to test her whenever I got a free time to help her master her own training. Al was considered my mistress since Ichigo liked her enough but Rin couldn't deal with another tsundere most of my nights were spend studying followed by sex with book/tutor/partner in a past life.

A few days after the term began during lunch hours Ruri, her Butler Winfield and I were having lunch together when we met someone even Winfield couldn't take the same man my first wife met trying to infiltrate her country a man I wish she would've killed a man that I wasn't supposed to kill become of his future role. This man was Bucky Barnes the winter soldier and friend of Captain America and would have a big role in the future due to the recent letter from my future self, I had to protect Ruri from this man and at the same time not kill this man I had to disable him to a point handlers would pick him up or scare him off like Ichigo did.

The fight was tough but nothing I couldn't handle with magus mode. I used a nameless sword overloaded to blow up the metal arm and scare him off. If I didn't have Al winter soldier might have been a challenge but with I am at the level of a mid level Quincy without holy form. Maybe using shining Trapezohedron but its use could bring thing worse than the mad titan out from continued usage or even break multiverse to pieces I was only supposed to use it again if this got very very very dire on the world ending scale that even the avengers couldn't handle.

Ruri pov after the attack

Right after my classmate Shirou Emiya fought off the man designated winter soldier. I knew grandfather's predictions were all right. I know I need to finish his last project I need to get demonbane ready in 5 years or less to fight off the monster that helped Loki cause the battle of New York. I noticed something about Shirou Emiya I never noticed till today he reminds me of grandfather if Shirou grew out his beard they would be almost dead ringers.

Shirou pov a few days later

I help as many shield agents out as I could escape from the Triskelion and their fellow agents that were really with hydra. After I was done I had a chat with the other version of myself greatest success the hero I could have never been in that life Captain America. Steve told me "good job helping those agents escape young man, you remind me of an old friend, one from before I went on ice." I replied with "I get that a lot, my father in law is a big fan of yours fan I get an autograph for him." I wasn't lying Isshan would come to the living to listen to the Captain America radio show and owned every old comic Capt showed up in. "sure if you can bring him to Stark tower we can even meet." Isshan would go crazy after meeting Steve I just hope my insane Soul reaper father doesn't tackle hug the man like he did with Rin, Ichigo and I or hug him like he did with our children.

A few hours later I was picked up by a helicopter with Nick Fury. He said to me "Sword boy I have one last mission as director before I turn Shield over to someone else and I could use your help to handle a few potential enhanced people and I could use some fire power. Want to help me sword boy."

Our first stop was the middle of the ocean and we had to help save 2 agents broadcasting a single. The female agent Jemma Simmons was fine but the make agent Leo Fitz was at death's door it took use of Avalon to get him at least stable I could have prevented brain damage if I had the real thing but the copy at least saved his life. Simmons asked "who is the red head?" Fury said "super human combat specialist and foreign dignitary he will help us deal with centipede soldiers." is he from Japan, cause he looks Japanese?" asked the female agent. "Nope, New Latveria he is going to college in the states and his name is Shirou Emiya. Yes that Emiya "said Fury. "Kiritsugu Emiya was my adopted father and is also the name of my son." I said. After that the trip was pretty quite until we landed on the plane and then went to Cybertek to battle the centipede soldiers and their leader Garrett, to save the government contractors. The battle ended with me blowing the mad cyborg up with an exploding sword then after Fury had his chat with his chosen Successor Phil Coulson. Fury asked me to see if the revival serum did anything to Coulson. After structural analyses I found a small blue area in his brain I could tell the blue area was alien but had no idea what it did.

After I told Fury and he said "I should be ok I have a feeling I could be connected to your soul reaper wife and her people if the spot is bad my agent in his group will take him out if not he may find something big." Then Fury took me into a private room and said "I know you are you are Kouzou Hadou, I checked your DNA and compared it to his 100% match. Let me guess it is some time travel bullshit, my father also Nick Fury knew about that kind of shit and figured out Kouzou was from another time or reality and that he when he died another incarnation would come and help in our future fights, heck he even predicted all of this shit would happen only my father, you and I have been seen his predictions. Your other self wanted nobody to know what he saw until it is close to happening. The one time I asked Kouzou he said that he was inside some kind of evil space god that connected all of space and time and before he land he saw these events happen and how to lead this timeline to the best path. If he keeps sending me the future I will share it with the avengers if not I trust you to help them."

With that he left and said "please ask your wife to help when either my agents or any of the avengers if they really need it and you may have got this letter as well another infinity stone popped up on the other side of the galaxy and Loki may have given Thanos the gauntlet so be prepared for hell to pay soon."

With that Fury left and told Coulson to give me a ride back to school I hoped Ruri took notes for me.
