Two years after Blue Diamond's return, the blue court could see stability again. The gems made for Blue were glad to have their diamond back. For a moment, Homeworld looked like it used to be. But, judt for a moment.
The three diamonds are inside throne room with Peridot.
"How was your training?" White asks the gemling.
"Irrelevant. It will only be nice on the day it is over." Peridot crosses her arms. "I'm a peridot and not a quartz. I should work with the gems of my kind and not with that stupid pearl and that ruby."
"I am not sure you can work with the rest of the peridots. If they find out about you while working with them, we will have a few problems to deal with." Yellow crosses her arms.
"I wouldn't mind working with them." Peridot crosses her arms too.
"I'm receiving reports about your behavior every day from Jasper. How can we trust you to hide a secret like that if you can't even deal with a simple training?" Yellow looks at her daughter.
"The Jasper says that you call her a clod all the time." White tries not to laugh.
"But she is a clod! She doesn't know how to do simple things right. She should have been shattered years ago." Peridot looks at the diamonds.
"She was the best soldier during the war. I'm not shattering her."
"You know, Peridot, your mother didn't use to be bad with her gems, but she has changed. I don't know exactly why, but she has..." Blue Diamond gets a bad face from Yellow and some laughs from White.
"I understand, Blue Diamond, she was nice... I don't believe that." Peridot laughs.
"Are you gonna talk about me like I wasn't here at all?"
"We like to drive you crazy." Blue smiles.
"I see. You two are always gossiping about me. Sometimes it looks like Peridot is your daughter and not mine, Blue."
"It probably looks like it because I spend more time with her than you do."
"Probably..." Yellow crosses her arms.
"Alright you two. You don't need to fight because of me and my attention..." Peridot laughs. "Blue. can I ask you something else." Peridot whispers.
"Yes."
"Well... I'm gonna ask you about this again... so, here I go... Are you going to tell me who my feather is or not?"
"Peridot, I wish I could tell you all about him... but I can't. You'll have to find out about him by yourself. I'm sorry…" Blue looks at Yellow.
"Okay. How about Lapis? You never tell me about her when I ask…"
"Maybe we should not talk about her either." Blue looks at Peridot again.
"Fine." Peridot turns her back at the diamonds.
Right when Peridot looks at the door, an Amazonite shows up, running into the room.
"My diamonds!" She barely does the diamonds salute signal with the hands.
"What's wrong with you?" Yellow Diamond asks with a serious face.
"Who do you think you are to enter in this room like that?" Blue raises an eyebrow.
"What do you want?" White finally asks, rolling his eyes.
"We are having a problem... with your pearls."
"What?" Yellow stands up.
"Yes. White Diamond's Pearl is trying to shatter the Blue and the Yellow." Amazonite tells them.
"Seriously? What's wrong with your pearls White? First, that one that tried to kill Peridot when she was a baby. Now, this one tries to kill the other pearls. You should not have a pearl anymore." Yellow looks at him.
"Where are they?" Peridot asks, worried.
"In your room, Peridot Diamond."
"Well, we should go. You know how pearls can be mad. Do you remember that Pink Diamond's pearl?" Blue stands up.
"The rebel one?" White asks, following the other two.
"Yes! She was really unusual and, well, she was trying to be something that she wasn't supposed to be. She was a big problem, specially to me."
"But, I'm trying to be something that I wasn't supposed to be." Peridot says.
"Uour case is different..." White says.
"Why?" Peridot asks.
"Because they want to be another thing. You don't. I'm forcing you to be a soldier." Yellow opens Peridot's room.
It is a mess inside of the room. The curtains are torn, the window is shattered and pieces of glass are around the floor. White Pearl is holding Yellow Pearl against the floor, trying to shatter her gem with a sword. Blue is on the floor with some scratches on her gem.
"Oh my...!" Blue says, surprised.
"Blue Pearl!" Peridot screams, trying to run towards the pearl, but White Diamond holds her.
"No, it's too dangerous." He says.
"But, she's hurt..." Peridot cries.
"YES. SHE. IS." White Pearl says, laughing madly.
"White Pearl, let go of the pearl right now!" Yellow Diamond orders.
"NO! I wanna be your pearl, my diamond, and for that I need to kill this one!" She looks at Yellow Pearl.
"What?" White. asks, confused.
Yellow places her hand on her face.
"But you are my tutor's pearl." Peridot says.
"I'm not! I'm loyal to Yellow Diamond!"
"But I don't want you!" Yellow fianlly says.
"What?" White Pearl asks, confused.
"I DON'T WANT YOU AS MY PEARL!" Yellow shouts. "YOU ARE TOO STUPID. JUST LIKE YOUR OWNER!"
White Pearl looks around, while realising what she has done.
She looks at Yellow Pearl again and they reach eye to eye.
"Stop. It is not worth it." Y.P whispers, scared.
"What do you know? You are officially Yellow Diamond's pearl! You don't have to take orders from her without even being her pearl. I have this dream of becoming her pearl since the day I met her! I was made for her, but she gave me to White Diamond!"
"You never told me…" Yellow Pearl whispers with a sad voice.
"Of course I didn't tell you! I could not tell anyone! It was an order." White Pearl looks at the window. "But I'm defective. I can't follow rules like a normal pearl…" She takes a deep breath.
"We can still change things. Let me go and we will think of something."
"It's too late..." White Pearl whispers back. "I am defective and now they know that. I'm sorry, Yellow. All my life I wanted to be like you, but I ruined myself. I pushed you away from me nust because I wanted to be you... it's my fault."
"I forgive you." Yellow Pearl finally says. "Now I understand… and I can finally forgive you for all those years."
The pearls smile at each other
"Have you finished?" Yellow Diamond interrupts the moment.
"No, not yet, my diamond!" White Pearl stands up with a confident smile on her face. "First I need to help someone I used to hate to find her answers." She looks at Peridot. "Just because I was jealous like the diamond I was made for, I don't need to be shattered without making at least one good thing in my life. I am sorry, Peridot." She holds her own hands and places them on her chest.
The diamonds realize the pearl's inattention.
"Don't you dare!" Yellow Diamond shouts.
"Peridot..." She looks at her diamond and smiles. "White Diamond is your father! He is the one you have been looking for all those years."
Peridot widens her eyes and looks at him.
"Enough!" Yellow Diamond runs towards the pearl and hits her gem, shattering it in one attack only.
Yellow Pearl looks at the shards of the other pearl shocked, while Peridot starts to cry.
"Hey, don't worry, Dot. Everything is gonna be-" He walkd to hug the gemling.
"Don't touch me! You lied to me! You never wanted to tell me the truth. I thought I could trust you!"
"But I had to do that or-" He tried to talk to her.
"I don't care!" Peridot runs away.
"Peridot!" He shouts.
"Don't go." Blue stops him.
"Why not?"
"She needs time to think." Blue looks at the door.
"She is gonna hate you forever." Yellow says, cleaning her hands full of pearl's dust and laughing.
"It's your fault!" He grabs Yellow's arm.
"Not this time. Blame your pearl!" She looks at the floor. "Or the rest of her."
"Stop you two! If you wanna discuss this, we can go to another place and do this as civilized rulers!" Blue Diamond shouts.
Yellow and White look at Blue, surprised to see her shouting.
"Okay." White lets Yellow go.
"Good. Pearl?" Blue looks at the pearl, who is next to Blue Pearl, holding her hand.
"Yes, Blue Diamond." She says, standing up from the floor.
"Take her to your room and, if you find Peridot, tell her I want to talk to her." Blue says.
"Yes." Yellow Pearl makes the diamonds salute.
"What do you want to talk to her?" Yellow Diamond asks.
"It's none of your business. Let's go."
White Diamond looks at Yellow with an angry face.
"I don't care about your anger." She tells him.
"Without talking!" Blue Diamond says, walking back to the throne room.
