I know, I know, I've been gone for a looooooonnnnngggggg time, but that was because I just got lazy in uploading stories and I was plotting so many ideas for books I plan to write and future fanfiction projects. See, the problem with me is that I want to write everything I have no idea where to begin. I tried to devote a week or whole day to write for one day but with the combination of a selfish dad who thinks MY computer belongs to him, and AP teachers assigning three essays on one day thinking I have no life, I get kind of busy. Anyway, sorry for ranting, but here you go. Part Two of Racing Chariots.

Racing Chariots, Part 2:

The Hephaestus cabin easily overtook Percy, laughing at his misery. Percy scowled. Annabeth snapped the reins, whipping Blackjack and Porkpie into a frenzy.

Watch the mane! Blackjack shouted.

The chariots drifted on the track, slamming into each other. Percy sliced at Nyssa, but Jake deflected the strike with his sword. Percy smiled and smacked the reins out of Jake's hands.

"We're in the lead!" Annabeth shouted.

As if to mock her, a hole exploded in front of their chariot. Annabeth snapped the reins, and barely managed to turn around the hole. Blackjack had said some unkind words while Porkpie repeated, I almost died over and over again.

Myrmekes exploded out of the hole, shooting webs at the chariots. Percy sliced at the webs, but they just got tangled in his blade. The myrmekes pulled and Percy's sword flew into the air.

"An ant just disarmed me." Percy said. "What's next? A man covered in gold?" Percy unsheathed Annabeth's dagger and tried to block the acid attacks. "Next time, I'm bringing a bottle of water!"

"You should, I'm thirsty." Annabeth said.

Nyssa pressed a button. Turbo boosters released themselves from the Hephaestus chariot and raced across the track. Annabeth crossed the finish line and made another turn.

"They're catching up!" Percy warned.

I can fly. Then, we'll win for sure! Blackjack suggested.

Percy smiled. He uncapped Riptide and waited as the Hephaestus chariot continued to advance.

"Percy, something's slowing us down." Annabeth said. She turned and screamed. Myrmekes were clinging on to webs attached to the sides of the chariot. Percy sliced the webbing off the left side, and ducked to avoid a spit of acid.

"Hello Percy." Jake Mason said, raising his sword as they flanked their right. Percy raised Riptide, but noticed his mistake. Nyssa pressed a button and a boxing glove punched him overboard. Percy grabbed the webbing at the last second and screamed as Annabeth made a turn.

"Annabeth, watch out!" Percy warned.

Annabeth ducked a slice from Jake's sword and kicked him in the chest with her foot. She grabbed her knife and threw it at the wheel. The wheel exploded and flew into the crowd.

"I got it!" Travis shouted, holding the wheel.

"Annabeth, would you autograph it for us?" Connor asked.

Percy grabbed Annabeth's knife with his hand and heaved himself onto the chariot. The demigod sliced at Nyssa, but she ducked and pressed another button. Small squares opened up like cannons on a ship. Percy gulped. Nyssa pressed another button, and small cannonballs shot out of the chariot as they crossed the finish line once again.

"Aye, we be under attack!" Percy said, blinking when he spoke pirate.

"Why are you talking like that?" Annabeth asked.

"I think it sets the mood, no, lassie?" Percy asked.

"You're clueless."

"That be why you like me, no?"

Nyssa shouted, "Act like a pirate then! We'll still beat you!"

"Hold yer tongue!" Annabeth shouted, and slapped herself. "Now, I'm doing it!"

Percy leaped onto the Hephaestus chariot and slashed at Nyssa. She dodged and kicked Percy in the groin. He winced, "That's going to hurt."

Nyssa smiled, "It should." She pressed a button and smiled. Rope shot out from the sides of the chariot and tightly bound Percy from neck to toe.

Annabeth rolled her eyes as they neared the finish line. She wanted to help Percy, who struggled in his bonds.

"Nyssa," Jake Mason said, "Go knock out Annabeth!"

Nyssa nodded, but Percy danced the worm, and managed to trip Nyssa. She fell and landed on top of him.

"Nice try," Nyssa smiled and stood back up. She screamed as a branch whacked her face and shot her onto the ground.

"Percy!" Annabeth shouted. Her knife flew into the air and landed beside Percy's neck. He grabbed the handle with his teeth and started untying the bonds. Jake Mason turned, and reached out to grab it.

Percy pressed a button on the remote with his head. Oil slicked out the front of the chariot. The chariot wobbled and smacked into Annabeth's. She kicked Jake out and untied Percy as Nyssa helped Jake back up.

"Let's go!" Percy shouted.

The chariots continued to race as Percy sparred with Nyssa.

Creepy man ahoy! Blackjack shouted.

Percy momentarily stopped fighting with Nyssa. The old man Percy had seen was at the finish line grinning like a madman. Annabeth gulped. Jake screamed. The horses reared back and raised their hooves. Annabeth and Percy cheered as they crossed the finish line.

Percy raised Riptide. "Who are you?" He asked the old man,

"I am Pelops." The old man said casually. "Brother, tell me, what ever happened to Tantalus, the activities director here?"

The Hephaestus cabin crossed the finish line. As soon as their chariot crossed the red line, the old man vanished and screaming erupted in the crowds.

Percy and Annabeth turned and gasped. The Hephaestus cabin was on fire and the Bronze Dragon was the source of the flame.

"The satyrs and I put out the fire as fast as we could." Grover explained. "If Percy hadn't arrived in time, then the cabin would've been destroyed."

Percy nodded, confirming Grover's story. He, Grover, Annabeth, Rachel, Clarisse, and the other camp counselors, except Nico, who Percy heard was still a dandelion, were scowling.

Jake Mason roared, his face as red as blood. "WHO BURNED DOWN MY CABIN? I KNOW ONE OF YOU DID THIS! THIS IS DISGRACE TO HEPHAESTUS AND WILL NOT GO UNPUNISHED!"

"I thought being the son of Hephaestus was punishable enough." Travis and Connor Stoll said.

Jake slammed into the Stoll brothers, punching and kicking them.

"Jake," Annabeth said fiercely as Clarisse and some of the other councilors cheered on the fight. "Enough!"

The three stopped fighting, but snarled at each other. Chiron sighed. "We must stop making false accusations, Jake."

"Chiron, I saw an old man right before the fire. He told me his name was Pelops and asked if Tantalus was still working here as activities director."

"Pelops?" Chiron asked gravely.

"Yeah, does that name mean anything to you Chiron?" Annabeth questioned, raising an eyebrow.

"Chiron!" Malcolm shouted, running in.

"What's the matter Malcolm?" Annabeth asked.

"The Aphrodite Cabin is in chaos. They lost their make up and are destroying the cabins, looking for it! Wow," Malcolm blinked. "That sounded much scarier in my head."

The councilors ran outside. True to Malcolm's word, the cabins were being ransacked. Percy saw the Dionysus cabin overcome with grape vines, the Hades cabin on fire, and the Nike campers running around at super sonic speed, crashing through walls.

"We have to stop them!" Rachel said. The Oracle shivered and doubled over like she was punched.

"Rachel!" Annabeth and Percy shouted.

Rachel smiled evilly, her eyes green. A raspy voice spoke instead of the Oracle or Rachel's. Let my curse destroy this camp! Fear the wrath of Pelops, chariot driver of Poseidon! Rachel laughed manically and flew to the ground. She laughed until she started to choke.

Chiron helped Rachel up. "Councilors help your cabins!"

The Athena camp exploded in flames as a fiery owl glared daggers at Annabeth. She growled, "I'm going to smack Pelops!"

Percy ran to his cabin as chaos took control of the cabins, filling them with disaster. He stopped in front of his cabin and gasped. It was in perfect condition.

The old man was staring at the door. He turned and smiled again. "Ah, fellow son of Poseidon, if you survive the next race, the story of Tantalus would have served you better."

He vanished. Percy stared at the cabins. They weren't in chaos anymore, but they were heavily ruined.

Annabeth walked up to Percy holding Daedalus' laptop. "I found the story of Pelops."

"What does it say?" Percy asked.

"I'll say it at the campfire tonight. No doubt that Chiron has something to say about all of this." Annabeth explained.

The next part will be released when it is released. I make no promises. It's already written, I can assure that, but I still have to read The Lost Hero, The Son of Neptune, and The Mark of Athena by Tuesday for the House of Hades. Wish me luck. Oh, I deleted all my stories except this one, but look out for a project about Avatar, Total Drama, and Kingdo Hearts. Back to Percy Jackson, next part you will see Blackjack, Guido, Gaea, and a camp destroyed. Hahaha, I have perfected the art of trolling…maybe not.
