ABSOLUTE GENIUS
"I want to go back on active duty."
"But you can't, your mandatory honeymoon holidays are not yet over."
"I don't care. I just want to go back to work. Besides kakashi goes to work everyday so its not like anyone has a illusion of honeymoon." Sakura retorted.
Tsunade scoffed in reply. "Kakashi and on work... he hasn't come in his office in last three years, that is since his appointment."
Sakura was really surprised at this revelation not only because kakashi daily went outside claiming to go to work but also that konoha and Tsunade allowed him to do such a thing. After all he was the jonin commander and head of civil judiciary.
But sakura felt that they were digressing as it didn't matter if kakashi went to duty or not. She wanted to do her job, save peoples lives and that is why she is here and kakashi bunking his job doesn't change anything. "But I want to join my job. I am wasting my time at home anyway. I can help around hospital in the time. Anyway this arrangement is not working."
"But the council will get suspicious and also our second reason for making this arrangement is kakashi himself. Remember?"
"Yea about that, I did not find anything wrong with him. He is the normal kakashi sensei I knew and loathe. Tedious and too cryptic." Sakura replied to her shishou and met with a disapproving gaze from her mentor like she somehow missed something important. This meant that her shishou was counting on that if sakura lived with kakashi she will come to the same conclusion that kakashi needs her help but somehow she couldn't find any reasons for this. All she knew new was that he was a bit of a prankstar, otherwise he was perfect in every other way.
"I think I need to tell you the whole thing and how I came to the conclusion that I need to interfer in this and why I was so adamant that you marry Kakashi to avoid your crisis."
"See sakura Kakashi is one of the most important in village. He is a prodigy and is very smart. Not Nara smart but kind of battle smart. The boy is absolute genius, a all rounder. There is nothing he can't do in any field. Now everyone knows this and respects him accordingly. He currently holds jonin commander position and also does jiraiya's old job. You with me?" Sakura nodded and tsunade continued.
"But nobody is infallible, not in our world. From very young age that man is fighting wars and watching people die around him. I don't think anyone cares about this peace we have achieved more than he does. He is right now dangerously close to what can be said to a fanatic about this peace."
"First, how did you come to this conclusion and why is this wrong? I mean I want to preserve this peace too. What's wrong in that? " sakura interjected tsunade's monologue.
"To your first question, here see his psyche evaluation reports from his quarterly evaluations." Tsunade put a few files on the desk for sakura to inspect. Sakura opened the file and looked inside.

Now sakura knew that these reports just contains the final analysis of the patient and no other details. Though any other troubling news can be shared with hokage but looking at these final analysis she could not think of anything that was so bad that kakashi can be considered as a threat. Sakura looked at her shishou for explanation, the point tsunade was trying to prove was null and void by reading this report. Kakashi after all was perfectly healthy. Only thing that did shock her was his punctuality of keeping the appointments with the therapist. Tsunade just smiled and pointed towards the other file that was on the table. Sakura picked up the file and started reading. The heading on the file was 'Kakashi Hatake :Mission Summary'. She read the details written and turn pale. The details were absolutely mortifying. It stated as a summary of the missions That kakashi has done over the last three years.

Note: The deaths were mostly were caused either due to decapitation or due to missing hearts probably because of chidori.
Sakura looked up from the report and the confused look on her face was very evident. Reading his psych eval. reports and mission reports, they could not have belonged to same guy. He was perfectly sound yet he made zero arrests. Maybe it was due to nature of mission but then tsunade would not have been this worried. She looked at her mentor for the answers.
"So now you understand the problem, sakura."
"but how?" Sakura asked indicatingthe stark difference between the two reports.
"Sakura, his psych eval. reports are just not right. A ninja, especially a ninja like kakashi who has spent 30 years and fought two wars, cannot get a perfect score in his psych eval." Saying this tsunade stood up from her hokage chair and moved around the table to sit in the chair next to sakura and continued her explanation
"That is when I got suspicious. Kakashi is an intelligent man who has been in system for so long, it is not beyond him to manipulate the evalutor. He is smarter than all of them. Now, maybe if inoichi would been alive but it can't be helped now. So I sent an anbu team after him on his missions just to observe his behaviour there. He used to report deaths on mission in his negligible reports and barely gave any details so I thought it would be better to follow him on the missions. He obviously lost them but after the battles when he left, the anbu reported on the carnage he left in his wake. It was awful Sakura. I can't show you the photographs but Bodies mutilated and blood every where. " Sakura taking in the information and processing it came to the conclusion that obviously kakashi was not as perfect as she thought. But the next thought was why tsunade was so concerned. It is not out of bounds to do what he did and obviously she doesn't know the exact situations of the mission. Maybe the conditions warranted that sort of action. Its not like she would refrain from killing if situation called for it. What she could not understand was the worry her shishou was telling her about.
"But what is the problem? So he killed a few enemies, I don't think it is big deal. Not enough to vilify him like you did." Sakura said desperately hoping that Tsunade had no counter to it.
"Sakura, I am not trying to vilify anyone. I am just concerned that the path he is leading is not a stable one. I am concerned about him as well. On the surface we may fight a lot and not see eye to eye on a lot of matters but he is still dear to me. I have known him since he was little boy." Tsunade said reassuring sakura that she genuinely did care for Sakura's arranged husband and former sensei.
"Luckily for all of us he saw a civilian Psychologist, Matsuko. He met her a one of her seminars to which she invited him and then insisted, on my orders, that he sit down with her and talk to her. What conclusions she drew from their sessions is what most troubles me. Now she doesn't know all this information about him, his background, his current mission reports, etc but her predictions about him and his personality were spot on to what we know." Tsunade looked at sakura to see if she was still following. Sakura nodded and tsunade continued "she essentially wrote that he is too obessed with this peace that we have achieved. And I understand this as he has lost too many people in achieving this peace. But What troubled me most is this last line she wrote in the file." Tsunade said while giving another file to sakura to read. 'He would not hesitate to remove you or guy, if he perceives you as a threat to what he holds dear.' Sakura read and now fully understood where tsunade was coming from. If what this psychologist claimed about kakashi was true then he essentially is more dangerous than danzo himself. He holds more power and sway than danzo ever did.
"So I called Matsuko to come and meet me. Further discuss what she wrote and why she wrote it. She obviously did not tell me much about it "doctor patient confidentiality" but she told me the reason to his behaviour."
"He is alone sakura. Preserving peace from above, like a guardian does and not having any sort of relationships with anyone. To him this is his life goal and he has forgotten their is some things more to this world than just that. I use to invite him for drinks every week to see how he is doing but he has himself too well guarded. Even when we cooked up some plans and discussed a lot of this, he never revealed anything personal. So I think it will be best if you can stick with him and rescue him and us at the same time."
"But..." sakura could not say more. She was overwhelmed, overwhelmed by all the information she received in last one hour.
"Just to prove my point you can do a little experiment. Just call him a nickname like kaka-kun, show a little connection and watch him flip out. Please do it sakura. Only you and Naruto are the two, I think, that he will allow near himself. You are part of his team. He is letting you stay at his, that is a huge deal sakura. Even if you don't believe that he is a threat please save my friend from his lonliness." With that tsunade stood up and stood near the window, looking outside at the village, essentially dismissing Sakura.
