I woke up lying on the ground near the homestead, confused as to how I got there. I distinctly remember falling asleep cuddled up to Newt on the bed, so why the bloody shuck am I on the ground?!

I sat up slowly and glanced around to see Newt a few feet away from me. "Newt?" I called out. No answer. I squinted my eyes and realized that he was crouched next to Minho.

Both of them were drenched in a red slimy like substance. A faint copper smell filtered the air, which could really only mean one thing. Blood.

"Newt? What happened?!" I asked as I went to Minho's side. I put my hand on his bloodied chest to feel a heartbeat, but there was nothing. I felt tears fall down my face. "Newt! What happened?!" I repeated as my vision started to go blurry.

Newt grabbed my wrist forcibly before he looked at me dead in the eye. "This is your fault, Tasha!" His veins were black, a black substance dripping from his mouth. His eyes were dark, fuelled with anger and hatred

"What?" I looked at Newt in disbelief, shocked at not only this scene in front of me, but how he looked.

"Newt, no-"

"Look at him, Tasha!" He forced me to look over at Minho's corpse which caused me to sob. "You shucking did this to us!"

There was no humanity to his eyes. He looked at me with fear and anger. "You didn't listen to me! You never bloody listen, do you Tasha?!"

Tears began to stream down my face now, as blood now covered me from head to toe. I looked down and realized I was wounded in several places. "Newt! What's going on!"

Newt let out a scream before he shook me violently. "KILL ME!"

I woke with a start, with my forehead covered in sweat. I glanced down and noticed Newt was still lying next to me. It was just a dream, it was just a dream. I sighed deeply and rubbed my eyes to try to get the dark images out of my head. Newt's fine, he's okay... But why didn't I feel any better? I laid my head back down and tried to get comfortable. All I could see in my head was Newt covered in blood.

I laid there a few moments as I failed to get the scary images out of my head, but they never went away. Every time I closed my eyes all I could see was Newt covered in blood. I took a deep breath and sat up as I leaned my head on my knees. He's fine. He's okay.

I rubbed the sweat off of my forehead and took three deep breathes as I laid my head back against the makeshift bed. It's only a dream... It was only a dream...
