Chapter 11

New York City

Angel Taylor's POV

The day started off like any other day. Tho every now and then, I would hear some voices. And yes I know how it sounds. But I'm not crazy. Anyway, I was thankful that today was my day off. I mean, who wants to be in a boring classroom, on a beautiful day like this. The only thing I could think about doing was going to Time Square and shopping til I drop.

"That sounds like a good idea." I say to myself, as I get in a cab and head there.

It didn't take me that long to get there for some odd reason. I mean, the traffic is normally backed up for miles here. But I wasn't going to complain. It just means I get to do more shopping, which is my most favourite thing to do. As I got closer to the door, I get a weird feeling. So I hesitate before going in, which causes a few people to look at me very oddly.

"Stop it, you're being stupid. Just go in." I order myself to do.

Opening the door, I look around to find that I'm in a different place. What I mean is, I walked up to a Victoria's Secret store and end up in what looks like a police station.

"Your early." Someone says to me.

Looking around I try to see if I can identify anything that will tell me, where I am. And then I saw it.

Raccoon City Police Department

"You've gotta be shitting me." I say in disbelief.

RPD Building

Chris' POV

I wasn't sure what was going on with Angel, but I was glad to see her. Tho it was odd to see here this early. Not that I was complaining. The Alpha meeting was going to start, but Wesker was nowhere to be seen. Still. As I walk over to Angel some cops walk in laughing and talking about the calls they went to. I didn't see what was so funny about it.

"What made you come in early?" I ask her.

She turns towards me, looks me up and down. There was something in her eyes that said she was seeing me for the first time. And yet we've been working together for two years. Ya, sure she's 22 years old, but i didn't know why she had that look in her eyes.

"It doesn't matter." I smile. "Let's get something to eat before the meeting."

"Sure, that sounds nice Chris." Her face is blank.

As we walk to the cafeteria, I notice that Angel would every now and then look down at her clothes. I wasn't sure why she was acting like this.

Downtown Raccoon

Brad Vickers' POV

I knew I had some time before the meeting, but I wasn't sure on what to do. So I just wondered the streets till I ended up somewhere, which just happened to be at a bookstore. Walking in, it took me a bit to realize I went right for the self-help section.

"I need new books." I said putting a book back.

Slowly walking around, I try to make an effort to find something new. But for some reason I just couldn't find anything that interested me.

"This is pointless." I say in a low voice as I headed towards the door.

But just as I'm about to leave, I see this book on si-fi. The book was about zombies taking over the earth. Getting intrigued by what it was about, I go and buy it. Looking at my watch, I see that I have twenty minutes before the meeting. I know I would still get there early, but it was better than being late with Chris Redfield. When I get there, I wasn't the only one there, but I didn't pay any attention to them, as i went to my desk.

S.T.A.R.S. Office

Barry Burton's POV

I didn't say anything as Brad came into the room, tho he was acting odder than normal. But I was busy talking with Joseph. I didn't even notice Jill was in the room, till she made a sound.

"Barry are you listening to me?" Joseph asks me, tapping me on the shoulder.

Turning towards him, I sigh. "Sorry, just wishing the meeting would get started."

"I know what ya mean." He says looking at the door.

Looking behind me, I see Chris and Angel walking in. Tho, something seemed wrong with Angel. But I didn't know what, and I didn't have time cause Wesker was right behind them.

"Good, you're all here and on time once." Wesker says, but mainly looks at Chris.

He just laughs and sits down. And now I try my best to pay attention but it's so boring. At some point I find myself drifting off, until the radio goes off.

"This is Bravo Team. We're going down! Something hit us. I repeat, we're going-"

Wesker didn't take long getting things going. "Alright people we have a situation. Brad, try to get Bravo back on the radio, while the rest of us get ready for a rescue mission."

Without being told anything more, we all head for our things, and then head for the helicopter. As I got my good guns out, I was hoping that everyone was okay.

Raccoon Forest

Drogo's POV

It was so nice, to just rest for the first time in hours. Even the grass felt great. But I know it won't last long. This was just the beginning. I looked over at our small group, lying there. It was amazing how much we have been though in such a short time.

"What now?" I ask looking up at the sky.

No one says anything. The only sound we hear, is nature. Which is odd to me, cause if I remember when this all started, you couldn't hear a thing.

"We need to find the others. Make sure no one else gets hurt or killed." Sara says.

I knew it was her, didn't have to look. Slowly getting up, I look ahead of us at the next mansion. Just great.

I look over at Billy. "What are you going to do?" He doesn't look at me.

"I'm not sure. Might run or try to fight my conviction." He looks at the mansion and then looks at the girls. Guess he's just as concerned as I am.

Taking one last look at the mansion, I say my goodbyes and start walking away. Turning back, I see the girls saying their goodbyes. Part of me was hoping I would never see him again, but the other half hoped we did. I mean he helped us, when he didn't have to.

"Let's get there before the sun goes down." Sara says as she and Rebecca walk past me.

RPD-Unknown

Wesker's POV

Everything was going to plan, soon I will lead the Alpha team to the Spencer Estate, where Umbrella's experiments will be tested against real people. But how to how to get the data down without everyone noticing what I'm doing. It was easy to fool them with the emergency call from Bravo team. Tho it was sent out over several hours ago, no one seemed to notice it. There wasn't enough time to think everything out clearly. It was all happening fast, but I just had to think of this as another challenge.

"Wesker!? Are you listening to me!?" Irons screams into the phone.

"Yes, Irons. I am." I lie.

He sighs. "You're clear to take off-"

That's all I needed to hear, before I look up at my team. They are the best, and I was hoping some of them would live to see tomorrow, or just die fighting. But I wasn't going to dwell on it. I had other things to think about.

"Brad had the radio over to the front desk and get the bird prept. I want to leave in fifteen minutes." I order as I get up and head to the lockers.

He didn't waste any time, which I liked. Quickly looking around the room, I see that everyone is almost ready. Good. Hopefully. When everyone is ready, Brad will be ready to take off.

"We're ready Wesker." Chris' voice breaks my train of thought.

I look up to see them by the door, waiting for me. I was both surprised and shocked at how fast they got ready. Which made me wonder who was going to make it tonight. Them or the experiments. It was hard to say. The four from Bravo had made it further then what I had thought. Or did they get out? Pushing that thought aside, I put my gun in my hip holster and head to the door.

To be continued….

Sara- Hmmm, I hope you enjoyed that chapter.

Wesker- What do you mean, you 'hope' they enjoyed it?

Sara- Well, I don't want to tell them that they are to do.

Wesker- Well I know they enjoy anything with me in it.

Drogo- Please leave a review and tell us what you thought about it, thanks.
