To be frank: It's been four years and I found this on an old USB I'd lost. The reason Chapter 11 never got put on here was due to how long it was and my lazy ass didn't want to edit it. Yet. Here we are four years later with me finally finding it and to be honest the style of it is a little different to the previous chapters so apologies to anyone who has read this/reading this. I'm aware that my childish ass sucked, but I decided to give in and put this up here. Who knows. Maybe one day I'll rewrite this shit or start anew, but life really has a way of taking over. (Copied to first chapter as well.)
Ellis dropped his duffel bag to the ground as Nick brushed past him to go farther into one of the Mandarin Hotel's suites. The hick felt a smile spreading onto his lips and glee running through his veins as he dropped from the wood floor onto the white and black detailed carpet, he passed between the white furniture and the grand piano before coming to a halt in front of the floor length window to stare down at the Vegas strip. He slipped his hands into his pockets as his head tipped up slightly to look at the already darkened sky, but then hands came between his arms and sides before they pressed into the window. He felt Nick's body press into his back, face nuzzling into his neck.
"Is there anything else you need sir?" Nick didn't lift his head as the bellhop spoke from the door.
"No," Nick answered and a second later the door shut to the suite.
"Why Vegas, Nick?" Ellis asked feeling Nick's tongue roll across his neck.
"Because in Vegas," Nick smiled, "nobody cares."
Ellis swallowed keeping his eyes on the outside lights as the streets buzzed with life, "So what are we goin' ta do tonight?"
"Tonight?" Nick kissed his neck as the hick muttered a yes, "Tonight Ellis," his lips brushed his ear, "I'm going to fuck you on every surface until you black out from pure pleasure."
Ellis felt his cheeks flame with a blush, "We're not going out?"
"Ellis," Nick started, "I finally got you away from your nunnery whore of a fiancée and you want to go out?" Nick's hands came back through Ellis's to grab them then turn the kid's back into the window, "We have two other nights here." Nick lifted an eyebrow, "Can I have my way with you now?"
"I guess," Ellis shrugged and Nick grinned wrapping an arm around Ellis's waist pulling their chests together then their lips. His free hand came up to grab the mechanic's hair yanking it back slightly revealing more of his neck, and finally for the first time in years he felt the man forcing a bloom of color onto his neck. The hick gasped rolling his hips into Nick's; the older man stepped back grabbing Ellis's hand leading him into the large bedroom with its orange walls, white floors, and red sheets.
Ellis walked through to the bathroom where a long white porcelain tub raised up on steps in the center, shower in the corner and a separate side room that led to a toilet.
"How nice," Nick walked up behind him, "You can enjoy a bath and the flashing lights of Vegas." He walked closer to the floor length windows before turning back to Ellis, "Would you like to enjoy a bath and the flashing lights of Vegas?"
"If you mean the kind of bath I think you mean then I don't think so," Ellis put his hands behind his back.
Nick frowned, "What the hell does that mean?"
"I don't want to be bathing in my own…" Ellis rocked back on his heels, "you know."
"How about a shower after it?" Nick took a giant step towards Ellis, "I'll even wash you myself…"
"Or," Ellis took the same large step to slide a finger down Nick's chest, "we can take this weird bath of yers and I can take a shower while you make us something to eat."
Nick chuckled bringing his hands sliding down Ellis's back to cup his ass connecting their hips, "I guess I can't say no…I need you to have a lot of energy if I plan on having you scream for me all night."
Ellis's hand, trapped between them, pulled back out to meet his other as they began to unbutton Nick's shirt. He continued down the length as Nick removed his jacket and reached between them to undo the hick's belt. Their lips connected and Nick walked Ellis backwards until the kid fell back onto the step before into the tub completely; his head hit the rim, but Nick had somehow followed right in pursuit tugging at the kid's lower lip.
"Ow," Ellis muffled into his lips, but he reached up to take his already falling hat and threw it across the room as Nick grabbed onto his shirt pulling it swiftly over the hick's head. Ellis finished with Nick's shirt a few seconds after then spoke into their kiss, "Nick."
Nick's lips found their way down his chin, "What?"
"We can't bathe in our clothes."
Nick sighed and clambered from his halfway of being in the tub and out of it to begin peeling clothes from himself.
Ellis started to climb from the tub as well, but Nick leaned forward to push him back down with a large amused smirk. The hick fell back into the tub and used his arms to pull himself up so that his legs fell completely into the tub. He started at his own belt with slow interest as he watched his lover stripping away clothes in front of him. He swallowed a lump in his throat finding it harder to focus at the task on hand while Nick was becoming more and more exposed in front of him, but just as the gambler stripped away the last of his garments he quickly covered himself with a towel getting a small whimper from the man still half-dressed.
"Finished getting undressed El then start the water," Nick leaned down to place a steamy kiss to the hick's lips before leaving the room.
Ellis climbed out of the large porcelain tub to start the water at a warm flow. He stood watching it fill for a moment before quickly getting out of his own clothes. He slowly climbed back into it to where he could lean against the side with his arms resting on the edges. He let his head lull back and he closed his eyes as the water level rose. He listened to the water pooling into it more as the room stayed completely silent, but then there was a click and the sound of music he wasn't used to coming into the room. He opened his eyes to see that the room was still empty so he closed his eyes once again, but when he heard the sound of an ice bucket being placed by him. He looked to see Nick standing there pouring what appeared to be a white wine into a glass.
"Uh, I don't…" Ellis began, but Nick put the bottle into the bucket and handed Ellis the glass.
"Hold that," he left the room again, but came back holding two beer bottles. He sat one in the ice bucket and turned the water off, "Scoot up kid."
Ellis slid forward through the water as Nick removed his towel to get in behind him he waited for Nick's legs to touch his before sliding back to lean against the older man's chest.
Nick took the glass from Ellis's hands and replaced it with the beer before resting his arms on the rims as Ellis rested against him and at that moment they both seemed to let out long held in sighs of relief.
"Nick," Ellis said after a while, "This is the first time we've ever been alone."
"We've been alone before," Nick had closed his eyes and to focus on the man pressed so close to him, but he opened them to look down slightly to see blue eyes staring him down.
"Not like this," Ellis stated, "We've always had the slightest chance of bein' caught or bein' found out or even Coach and Rochelle breathin' down our necks."
Nick thought about it for a moment before smirking, "You're right."
"So," Ellis turned his head slightly to press his lips to Nick's neck.
Nick sighed letting his head roll back before bringing the wine glass to his lips finishing it in a gulp to place it upside down in the ice bucket.
Ellis continued to kiss his neck, but spoke between them, "What're we listenin' to?"
"Frank Sinatra," Nick answered closing his eyes, "Hey kid."
"What?"
"You're turning me on," Nick deadpanned.
"Is that a problem?" Ellis pulled back with a smirk.
"In a sense, yes," Nick slowly opened his eyes and brought his head back up to look down at him, "I thought about it and this bathtub is nowhere near big enough to have sex in."
"So…I can actually take a normal bath?" Ellis's tone had taken on a slight innocence and Nick chuckled tipping his head back by his chin.
"It just means that we're going to manage it," Nick grabbed the beer in Ellis's hand and dropped it into the ice bucket, "Turn around."
Ellis managed, somehow, to turn completely around in the small area while Nick moved forward so the hick's legs could go on either side of him and instantly Nick wrapped his arms around him to pull their chests together causing their slowly hardening cocks to rub against the other's. Ellis let out a small startled gasp before wrapping his own arms around Nick's neck so to bring their lips crashing together in a heated kiss.
Nick lifted the kid in the water and shifted him forward even more so that when he came back down there was a pulsing dick entering him slowly.
Ellis's eyes squeezed shut and he moaned into Nick's mouth.
Nick kept an arm around the mechanic's waist and brought the other to the rim of the tub as his own tongue intruded the younger man's mouth.
Ellis moved his own hands to grip the rims of the tub in order to lift himself up, but as he did so Nick's lips left his and he met the dark eyes, "What?"
Nick's hungry eyes scanned the taught muscles of the mechanics arms and hitched in a breath before running his tongue up the center of Ellis's neck making him shiver with delight.
Ellis came back down on Nick letting out another moan, but the speed by which he could lift himself again wasn't enough for either man, "Nick…"
"Get out," Nick growled and not even a second later Ellis was climbing from the tub. Nick got out with just as much speed to grab Ellis pulling the dripping wet man against him, "I need to fuck you now, El." Nick walked Ellis backwards until his lower back connected with the bathroom counter. The cardshark spun Ellis around shoving him forward, but the hick's hands flew out to press against the mirror holding him slightly up. Nick didn't wait to see if Ellis was comfortable before penetrating him again.
"Nick!"

"Where did you get the food?" Ellis had come out of the bedroom with a towel around his waist and another rubbing at his hair.
"A nifty thing I like to call room service," Nick closed the newspaper in his hands to eye the hick, "Something you might not be used to."
"Funny," Ellis lifted an eyebrow, "that also come with silk bathrobes?"
Nick glanced down at his black robe before smirking fondly at the other man as he crossed further into the room sitting at the table to the left of the conman who sat at the head of it, "How was your shower?"
"Good," Ellis looked down at the food on his plate, "a little lonely, but good."
Nick opened his newspaper again grabbing a glass of scotch from off the table, "Would've joined you, but you said you were hungry."
Ellis threw the towel in his hand onto the table then ran the long digits through golden locks, "I can't help it."
"I know," Nick set the glass down, now empty, followed by the newspaper; he stood up and walked around Ellis, but not without running a hand through his hair, "I really don't like that hat of yours."
"It don't like you either," Ellis commented, "Aren't ya goin' ta eat?"
"Already did while you were showering," Nick kept walking towards the bedroom, "I think it's my turn to take a shower. Don't wander off anywhere…I'm not done with you."
"Wouldn't know where ta go even if I wanted ta wander," Ellis stated and Nick chuckled carrying on towards the room.
A half hour later Nick was passing the metal framework into the bedroom tying his robe shut, but he stopped walking when he noticed Ellis leaning against the headboard, plaid covered legs stretched out in front of him, and a small paperback book in hand. The conman smirked going to the dresser and opening the top drawer where he found silk black pajama bottoms. He quickly pulled them on and threw the robe on a chair in the corner. He went back towards the bathroom to flick light the switch off so that the only light in the hotel room was the lamp closest to Ellis. He climbed onto the bed at that point, but waited to get under the covers. Instead he moved to put a leg on each side of Ellis's before ducking down to kiss his stomach and up his chest, but never did the younger man put his book down. Nick glanced up at him to see his brow furrowed, "What the hell are you reading?"
"A book I got from this little old lady on the plane," Ellis answered half-heartedly.
"Okay," Nick snatched the book from his hand, "What is this book? And since when did you like to read?"
"I got bored," Ellis tried grabbing for the book, but Nick held it from his reach to look at it.
"Ellis, what…the hell…"
"It's not that bad of a book so far."
"It's about gay cowboys."
Ellis frowned at him, "When you say it like that it makes it sound really bad."
"Because it is," Nick looked at the cover of the book, "Love is a force of nature…" He locked eyes with Ellis, "Didn't take you as the sappy love story type, El."
"I'm not!" Ellis protested, "I got bored and this was the only thing to do…nothin' good on TV either."
Nick dropped the book in Ellis's lap, "Well once you finish the book then maybe you can watch the movie."
"There's a movie?"
"Yeah, came out a while ago," Nick sighed, "Read anything in there that might relate to us?"
"Well…one of them is getting married to a girl that he thinks he loves, but yet he knows he can't keep his thoughts of this one guy," Ellis frowned when he met Nick's stare, "You don't care."
"Not in the least," Nick moved the rest of the way up Ellis to lock onto his lips. But then he was pulling back to whisper, "I only care about what happens between us right now, not what happened between the two men in that book of yours."
Ellis let out a soft noise before pushing Nick onto the other side of the bed so he could straddle his stomach.
"Now this is much more interesting than hearing about that book," Nick grabbed the object which had transferred to him and tossed it to the floor just as Ellis moved down his body to grab his hips and trail kisses down his chest. He brought his lips to just above the waistline of the silk pants and began sucking at the skin there. Nick had moved his hands to behind his head, but the sudden awareness of the blood flowing to just below Ellis's mouth became very noticeable, "I hope you plan on ending what you started."
Ellis had already begun pulling the waistband down instantly rolling his tongue across the still hardening flesh. Nick let out a small noise and Ellis lifted his head to look at him, "I know I've done this a few time t'you, but how many times have you let this happen?"
"On a rare, rare occasion," Nick answered, "I don't like not being in control, El…you know that."
"I know," Ellis's tongue slid up the length of Nick's cock before teasing the tip of it then slowly taking it into his mouth. He tightened his hold on Nick's hips as he sucked at the head before twitching his tongue across the tip again.
Nick's hands had gone to the bed sheets balling into them as Ellis took in his whole length; the gambler closed his eyes as a hand was removed from his hip. He opened them again to see Ellis looking up at him with bright lust filled eyes, but then they fell shut as he lifted his head to begin a slow bobbing movement. Nick's eyes closed again and he let out a soft moan.
Ellis's hand—which had released the hip—worked its way underneath his own pants' waistline to grab hold of himself. The touch was enough to finish the hardening and he moaned against Nick.
The vibration of the hick's moan caused Nick to buck back up into him; the older man was now aware of where that free hand had gone and it amused him slightly…turning him on even more. Nick was about to comment on it when he heard his cellphone ringing from the side table closest to him. He cursed it trying to ignore it, but it kept going. The mouth wrapped around him vanished and he growled reaching over to grab the phone. He answered it and put it to his ear, "What?"
"Where the fuck did you go?"
Nick's eyes went wide and he cleared his throat, "It doesn't matter."
"Like hell it doesn't! One second you're here and then you're in Hicksville. Where the fuck are you now?"
"Vegas."
"Fuck."
"What the hell do you want?" Nick glanced at Ellis to see him with a lifted an eyebrow, "I'm busy."
"Are you with someone right now?"
"In a sense."
"It better be for gambling purposes."
"It is."
"Why the fuck wouldn't you call me?"
"Would you stop with the fucks already? I have my reasons."
"I'm getting sick of being left in the dark about everything you do. You have one week to get your ass back here or I'm gone."
Nick's eyebrows rose, "Is that so?"
"Yes."
"Alright…I understand."
"Good."
"Can I go now?"
"Yeah."
Nick tossed the cellphone to the floor to see Ellis staring at him with confusion, "Business."
"So…" Ellis's eyes shifted to between Nick's legs then back up.
"I would like to speed this process up actually." A few seconds later Ellis was resting on his knees and elbows with his slightly raised ass being thrusted into over and over again. He let out a loud moan then grabbed Nick's hand from his hip to overlap them entwining their fingers and wrapping the arm around his waist pulling the two closer together.
"Nick…oh God," Ellis pressed his head into the pillow, "Fuck…I can't hold out any longer."
"We really can't have any foreplay can we?" Nick grunted.
"No," Ellis managed to say before letting out rather loud moan.
Nick could feel Ellis tightening around him, "You're lucky you're sexy."
Ellis didn't respond as his body rippled with pleasure, "Nick!"
"Fuck," Nick gave one final thrust following Ellis's orgasm a few seconds later. For a moment neither did anything as they tried to catch their breaths, but then Nick was pulling out of Ellis and rolling off the bed with his lover close behind grabbing the top quilt as well tossing it to the floor. Nick pulled his pants on then turned to Ellis just as he finished doing the same thing. He reached out grabbing Ellis around the waist until they were pressed together.
"Wow," Ellis gave a soft smile, "That was…"
Nick smirked at the rosy cheeks and dewy eyes, "I know."
"Was I loud?"
"I think if I had left a window open…the Vegas strip would have heard you," Nick smirked.
Ellis blushed, but then wrapped his arms around Nick to bury his face into the crook of his neck, "I'm worn out."
"I bet you are," Nick chuckled; he leaned over and pulled the bed sheet back, "We didn't do as much as I had planned for tonight, but…we still have a couple days here. Let's get some sleep."
Ellis released Nick and watched the man crawl into bed, but he didn't move.
Nick looked up at him, "What?"
"We've never actually slept together a whole night," Ellis pointed out, "Just a few hours here or there during the outbreak."
"Well…there's a first for everything," Nick could see the weariness on the hick's face so he did something he never thought he'd do: he held his arms out to him, "C'mere."
Ellis switched the lamp off and got into the bed pulling the covers with as he crawled over to Nick. He gripped Nick's shoulder with his right hand to pull himself up in order to rest his head just below the gambler's chin.
Nick wrapped his arms around Ellis with slight hesitation still trying to wrap his mind around what he was doing, "This a little weird for me."
"I can sleep elsewhere," Ellis offered. He didn't want to leave the older man, but even during the outbreak they only slept side by side because—well, Nick never initiated a cuddle session and Ellis was too chicken shit of scaring him off.
"Fuck that," Nick tangled their legs together and moved one of his hands to grab Ellis's which had still been holding his shoulder. He entwined their fingers and closed his eyes, "Goodnight Overalls."
"Night," Ellis whispered with a small grin on his face as he nuzzled closer to his lover loving every second of this new Nick and begging God that he never left.
)()()()()()(
Ellis awoke the next morning alone which brought him straight up in bed to look around the room with slight panic settling in, "N-Nick?"
"Don't you look attractive in the morning; nice hair."
Ellis looked at the doorway to see Nick standing there in white slacks and a red button down; he had a hand in his pocket and another with a coffee mug in hand. Ellis reached up to try flattening his hair down feeling that it was scattered about; he smiled lightly at the other man, "How long you been up?"
"Twenty minutes give or take," Nick took a sip of his coffee.
"Why didn't you wake me?"
"I need you well rested," Nick answered, "We have a long day ahead of us. So get dressed." He nodded at a set of clothes folded on the bed before walking out.
Ellis threw the sheets from himself and climbed off the bed to walk around looking at the clothes; his face scrunched with confusion, "Nick, these aren't my clothes."
"Yes, they are," Nick called from the other room, "Put them on."
Ellis's brow furrowed, but he did as he was told and a few minutes later he was walking into the next room wearing a pair of nice dark blue jeans, a white t-shirt, and a black open front blazer with the sleeves rolled up to just below his elbows. He went over to one of the white chairs and dropped into it to finish tying the black converse he had also found, "Where's my hat?"
"No clue," Nick stood in the kitchen with a small smirk as the hick stood up straightening his shirt, "You don't need it though."
Ellis looked over at him with a raised eyebrow, "Where did you get these?"
Nick shrugged, "I have my ways." He set his coffee cup down and started toward Ellis grabbing his white jacket in the process, "You look good though."
"I feel weird," Ellis's nose crinkled, "why am I wearing this?"
"When in Rome do as the Romans do," Nick finished pulling his jacket on then stepped in front of Ellis so to gently grab his arms, "Here in Vegas you want to be more than you were back home. And those in Vegas excel to be the best. First step of that mission: Dress to kill."
"What does that have t'do with the Romans?" Ellis asked.
"Just a saying kid," Nick chuckled and let Ellis go, "Let's get out of here. I don't know about you, but I'm hungry."
Ellis smiled, "Starvin'."
Nick turned grabbing his wallet from the couch to put it in his inside jacket pocket while moving to the suite's door, "C'mon El."
Ellis bounded after him forgetting completely about his hat and his new set of clothes. He followed Nick out the door and down the hall to the elevator where two brunettes were already standing in wait. As they approached the two girls stopped their conversation to look at them, but grins both slid onto their faces and they began talking once the two men came to a halt.
Nick grabbed Ellis's arm pulling him closer to whisper in his ear, "I'm starting to think we shouldn't have left so fast." He turned Ellis slightly to slide a hand around to the hick's lower back keeping his mouth by his ear, "I believe that my hunger isn't for food." Nick kissed Ellis's neck and the kid flushed red glancing over at the two girls but they only stood smiling.
"Don't be embarrassed honey," the long haired one cooed.
Nick stopped what he was doing, but pulled their chests together keeping an arm around Ellis as his other hand went into his own pocket, "He's a newcomer to Vegas."
The other girl with pixie like hair grinned at Ellis; her voice carried a southerner's accent as she spoke, "No wonder he's turning red as a tomato. If I'm not mistaken we're in Vegas for the same reasons."
"Is that so?" Nick lifted an eyebrow.
She nodded, "The names Lulu and this," she looped an arm with the other girl, "is my girlfriend Betty."
"Nick," the conman smirked before looking at Ellis to see that the younger man was already staring at him, "and this is Ellis."
Ellis looked at the two giving a frail smile, "Pleasure to meet you both."
"I recognize that accent anywhere," Lulu said, "You from Georgia?"
Ellis nodded his head, "Yeah."
"Me too!" She beamed, "I'm from Atlanta."
"Savannah," Ellis's smile began to grow slightly.
"I'm from New York City," Betty input, "I'm a Yankee."
Nick smirked, "Same here, but Boston."
"Wow," Lulu was grinning largely now, "What are the chances?"
"High when in Vegas," Nick answered just as the elevator doors opened; he kept his arm around Ellis as the group got on and the doors slid shut, "How long you ladies been here?"
"Arrived two days ago," Betty answered, "Came up here for a vacation away from all the southern crazies; what about you two?"
"Um," Ellis licked his lips trying to find an answer.
"Same thing, but add a bachelor party to that equation," Nick looked at Ellis, "his bachelor party."
Lulu lifted an eyebrow, "You lost me."
Nick was looking at them again, "What are you girls doing for breakfast?"
)()()()()()(
"So, he's going to marry a nun?" Betty asked as a waitress took their plates away.
Ellis sighed lifting his head from his arms, "She's not a nun." He dropped his head back down and Nick put a hand on his leg.
"Pretty much," Nick nodded.
The two girls exchanged looks, but Lulu spoke, "What are you going to do?"
Ellis took a deep breath and sat up straight giving a shrug, "I don't know."
She reached across the table to give his arm a soft squeeze, "Everything will work out in the end, you just wait and see. The Lord works in mysterious ways."
Ellis stared at her for a long second and she kept a light smile.
"What?"
Ellis shook his head squeezing his eyes shut, "Sorry, you just remind me of someone…"
"Not a crazy ex I hope," Lulu giggled and Betty joined her in it.
Ellis opened his eyes looking down at the table, "My sister."
Nick looked at Ellis blinking with confusion, "Sister?"
Ellis's blue eyes met his green eyes, "Yeah…her name was Mindy."
A silence fell over them, but Lulu broke it, "What was she like?"
Ellis turned his attention to her, "She was great. Sweet, kind, and always thinking of others. She always knew what to say when it needed saying and I could always count on her. She believed that everything happened for a reason even when our Ma kicked her out."
"Kicked her out, but why?" Betty asked.
"Because she came home with her girlfriend Clarabelle," Ellis answered.
"Your sister was gay?" Betty looked at Lulu then back at Ellis, "And so are you?"
"I'm not gay," Ellis frowned glancing at Nick, "Nick…is an exception."
"What did your ma have to say about you?" Lulu folded her arms on the table.
"She," Ellis cleared his throat, "she turned into one of those zombies…and killed Mindy the day the virus broke out. But I already know what she would've said to me."
"You've signed your contract with the devil and are going straight to hell," Lulu was looking at the table too, "God doesn't love you anymore and he won't save your soul. You're no child of mine…how dare you do such a thing. I never want to see you again." She looked up at Ellis with sad eyes, "Something like that?"
"Something just like that," Ellis nodded, "I take it, it happened to you."
"Yeah," Lulu nodded as Betty took her hand, "but I didn't believe any of that. God made me this way for a reason and gave me this path to walk so that I could learn from it. I'm happy with who I am."
"My parents just want me to be happy," Betty sighed trying to get away from the sad topic, "They don't bother me ever. What about you Nick?"
"I left home after high school," Nick was still looking at Ellis, "My folks could be dead for all I care." He raised his hand from Ellis's leg to place it against his cheek; Ellis turned into the palm. Nick put his other hand on the table and met Ellis's puppy eyed stare, "Why didn't you tell me?"
"You never asked," Ellis answered simply, "I didn't want to burden you with it during the D-Days and I just never really thought of it lately."
Nick's face held a hard stare, but then he dropped his hand and looked at the girls, "I think this is where we part ways." Nick began to stand at the point pulling Ellis with by the arm, "We should all get a drink before you leave."
"We'd love that," Betty stood as well trying to brighten the mood with a large smile. She fished her phone from her purse and handed it to him, "Put your number in there and we'll call you with a place!"
Nick quickly put his number into the phone then gave it back, "We'll see you ladies around." With that he turned him and Ellis around leaving the hotel's restaurant entering the lobby, but he kept going until they were on the bright sunny streets of the Vegas strip. They walked in silence side by side, but then Nick put his arm around Ellis's waist and pressed his lips into his temple for a long second as they went, "No wonder you were so worried that first night."
Ellis wetted his lips, "Yeah…because I already knew how my ma acted towards it."
Nick fell quiet again and pulled his arm back, but kept it pressed to Ellis's as they walked. He flicked his other wrist out to see his watch sighing heavily, "Okay…so breakfast ran a bit later than I had hope. We have to get over to Caesar's Palace."
)()()()()(
"Damn, this place is huge," Ellis muttered as he followed Nick towards a bar, "It survived the outbreak?"
"A lot of shit survived the outbreak," Nick grabbed his arm to pull him through around a group of people, "Vegas, New York City, Boston, and D.C. were the only large main cities to be somewhat revived to their full potential after the outbreak." Nick came to a stop at the bar forcing Ellis onto one of the stools, "Don't you know all of this?"
"No," Ellis answered, "I didn't care."
"Ask Rochelle about it some time," Nick lifted a finger at the bartender getting his attention before turning sideways to face Ellis by leaning on the bar and placing his back almost against the person sitting next to them, "She'll love to share her knowledge with you."
"You ask her?" Ellis asked the question, but as soon as Nick gave him a look her answered it himself, "No, of course not. You just know this stuff already."
"Exactly, but she's a reporter she knows more about it," Nick turned his attention as the bartender came over, "Don't tell her I said that."
"Well if isn't the James Dean of Vegas himself," the bartender gave a smile and took Nick's offered hand giving it a shake, "Haven't seen you since before the D-Days!"
"Nice to see you too, Craig," Nick chuckled.
"Where have you been hiding this whole time?"
Nick gave a slight shrug, "Got in trouble with the law before the outbreak and had to get the hell out of Dodge. I went to Savannah in hopes of some good riverboat gambling, but instead I wound up with fending for my life."
Craig chuckled, "When did you get out?"
"A couple months back," Nick answered scratching his chin thinking on it, "I've been busy as hell up in Boston."
"You still run with all those shmucks?" Craig asked.
"Hell yeah I am," Nick snorted, "Those shmucks will come after me if I don't."
Craig sniggered, "No doubt in my mind about that. So, what brings you here?"
Nick nodded his head at Ellis who was currently looking up at the ceiling, "This hillbilly is marrying a nun and we're here to celebrate."
Ellis snapped to attention at the comment and frowned at Nick to lean forward on the bar, "She's not a nun, Nick. I keep telling you that."
Craig gave a laugh, "Let me guess," he lifted his eyebrows at Nick, "you two been dickin' around?"
"Why must you use such derogatory terms to explain it?" Nick asked and Craig shrugged.
"I say it how it is," Craig smiled at Ellis, "What the hell do you see in this piece of shit?"
"Don't answer him, El," Nick put a hand on Ellis's leg, "He's being a no good snoop who is currently neglecting his job at getting me something to drink."
"You're lucky you're unforgettable James Dean," Craig chuckled and walked away returning with a half glass filled with brandy and no ice. He nodded at Ellis, "You look like a beer man."
"I am," Ellis said.
Craig left and came back uncapping a beer bottle to put in front of him, "Starting up a tab again?"
"Oh yeah," Nick took a drink of his brandy then took his hand from Ellis's leg to put on his own hip, "Who's running the show tonight."
"Hood's got a thirty grand buy in," Craig answered, "Sugar-Bear, the Kid, and Ol' Boss Hogg are already bought in. Game don't start for another twenty minutes."
"Perfect," Nick smiled, but then sighed, "Hood's got a cheap buy in price going for this."
"That's why it's cheap though," Craig corrected, "Hood is running it. Now if Bear were running it you'd be emptying your pockets."
Nick snorted, "I don't ever empty my pockets." He took a breath and pushed off the bar, "We should get going if I want to cash in then buy in."
"I'll see you around," Craig turned to go to the end of the bar and Ellis stood up only to be grabbed around the waist as they walked towards the chip exchange booths.
"Now Overalls," Nick said as they stepped in line. He let go of Ellis to turn to him, "I got one simple rule as to how this is all going to go over and I think you can handle it."
"What?"
"When I'm doing my thing," Nick's face went serious, "Don't bother me."
"Isn't this trip about us spending time away from everything together?" Ellis asked and Nick smirked.
"Kid," Nick slid a hand into Ellis's back pocket pulling their bodies together, "We got two more nights here. The next few hours you're going to have to share me, but once that's over," he placed his lips on Ellis's neck then spoke in between kisses, "you can have me all to yourself."
Ellis smiled at the idea then realized what Nick was doing in front of the public eye and he was ready to pull away, but then he was looking around to see that nobody cared…nobody seemed to be bothered by it. He slid his hands up Nick's chest to push the man away from his neck only to press their lips together. Nick put his free hand on the kid's chin to deepen the kiss.
"Excuse me," the voice broke them apart and Nick stepped up to the booth with a charming grin which got the girl to smile back, "What can I do for you, sir?"
Nick pulled out a card and handed it to her, "Forty grand, please."
The young girl took the card and swiped it, but smiled at the two men as Nick grabbed Ellis around the waist pulling him closer so to kiss the side of his head, "You two are the cutest."
Nick chuckled, "Cute? It's amazing what this kid can make people think about me." Nick then reached his drink hand out to point at the girl, "Do me a favor Sweetheart and make a grand of that in hundred dollar bills."
"Sure thing, sir," she handed back the card to bend down for something.
Nick winked at her then brought his drink up to his lips to smile at Ellis, "Gotta feed you eventually."
"Here you are, sir," she slid a box of chips to him, "Thirty-nine thousand in chips," then placed ten hundred dollar bills on top of them, "and a thousand in hundred dollar bills."
"Thank you," He grabbed the bills to put in his wallet with his card then let Ellis go to pick up the box of chips, "Come on kid." Nick led the southerner through the crowds until they reached a back room that had three poker tables in it with three clothed tables as well. At one of the poker tables there were four men seated and at a clothed table there were four finely dressed women. Three of the men rose at the entrance of the two men.
"Well I'll be damned," a man in a white cowboy hat and brown suit put his hands on his hips with a smile of disbelief, "Nick, tell me I'm not seeing things."
"You're not seeing things," Nick walked towards them to set his poker chips and drink down in order to shake hands with the man, "I'm really here, Jer."
"It was about damn time you showed you fancy suited white ass," the man who had spoken was a bigger black man in a grey suit and cigar in hand; he took Nick's hand again, "Good to see you."
"Always is," he turned next to a man in a dark green suit wearing a matching fedora with a red feather in it, "And you, you cheap bastard. Thirty?"
He gave an innocent shrug then shook Nick's hand, "I'd like to walk out of this with some profit at least."
Nick chuckled then gave a nod at the youngest of the group who sat at the table still wearing a nicely tailored black suit, "Glad to see you haven't given up, Kid."
"Someone's got to kick your ass at this game," the youngest pulled a cigarette out lighting it up with a smile, "You in?"
"Hell yeah I'm in," Nick said and the three stood, but Nick went over to take Ellis's arm with a smile, "Alright, see those girls over there?" He waited for a nod, "Go and sit with them."
"But Nick—"
"I promise to make it up to you later," Nick whispered, "Now go on."
Ellis sighed and walked over to the table where immediately the four women looked at him, but that gave the southerner the chance to glance at them closer so to get a better look at one who's make up was done up a bit more and her shoulders broader. Ellis cleared his throat awkwardly and a pretty blonde in a short pink single long sleeved dress smiled at him, "Sit down honey-pie we don't bite."
Ellis pulled out one of the chairs and sat his beer down before doing the same which got the blonde to lean forward on the table.
"What's your name?"
"Ellis," he answered.
"I'm Ella-Mae," she smiled, "My man is the one in the cowboy hat up there. His name is Jerry, but others know him better as Ol' Boss Hogg."
"I'm Georgette," the girl across from him had lovely red hair done up on her head and wearing a black dress, "I belong to Karl or Robin Hood if you want to get technical."
A girl with black hair in a white tube dress was next, "I'm Kelsey and my husband is Ben, but the men like to call him the Kid because he's still far too young."
"That leaves me," the one who had spoken was the one which caught Ellis's curiosity more; her voice deep like a man's but her cheekbones as pointed as a woman's. Her skin was tanned along toned muscles and she had long black hair that went down in waves to the orange dress she wore, "I'm Ashton and my man is Sugar-Bear Morris, the big handsome one."
"Please if we're talking in looks all y'all know my baby is the best looking of them all," Ella-Mae teased and the girls let out short giggles.
"Oh don't start that again," Georgette picked up a wine glass, "We're finally over that stage. And I'd hate to drag," she paused then looked at Ellis, "I'm sorry, but what was your name again?"
"Ellis."
"Yes, right," Georgette smiled, "I'd hate to drag poor Ellis into this."
"You're right," Kelsey agreed with a nod, "we're past that." She looked at Ellis and gave a sad noise, "I think we're making him feel uncomfortable."
Ellis cleared his throat awkwardly wishing somewhat that he were elsewhere and not currently being stared at by the four seated with him, "I'm fine."
"No, we're sorry," Ashton put a hand on his arm, "We should be a little less direct in introducing ourselves. Lord, we know nothing about you."
"Except that your name's Ellis and your Nick's sex toy," Georgette said and Ella-Mae gasped swatting the girl with her hand.
"Georgette!" The girls giggled and Ellis could feel his face growing red.
"What? Okay, I'm sorry," Georgette set her wine down to lean forward lifting an eyebrow, "Are you just a sex toy or have you been around for a while?"
"You can't just ask someone that," Ashton said.
"Well I'm curious to see if Nick's changed or not," Georgette gave a shrug, "And I know you're all dying to know too."
"Sadly that's the truth for us all," Ella-Mae finally agreed.
"I, uh, met Nick," Ellis cleared his throat again, "during the Dark Days."
"Honey, that was four years ago," Ashton said, "Are you telling me you two have been together ever since?"
"Well," Ellis's brow furrowed, "not really." He scratched his neck then put his hand on the table next to the one holding his beer, "We were separated af'er rescue got us in New Orleans."
"Hold on," Georgette broke in, "You weren't already in a secure facility?"
"No," Ellis shook his head, "Why were you?"
"Yes, all of us were," Kelsey answered, "We had been evacuated to safety immediately."
"We weren't," Ellis said, "I found two of our other friends at a small diner and I found Nick at a gas station. He wasn't too happy 'bout the idea of travelin' with us, but he did."
"Where are you from?" Ella-Mae asked.
"Savannah, ma'am," Ellis said.
"But you got rescued in New Orleans?" Ashton lifted an eyebrow.
Ellis nodded, "Yeah. We had managed to get a car for some time and a ride from someone who owned a boat. Af'er that we had to find real military help since all the CEDA zones were a no go."
"So, you two hooked up during the outbreak?" Georgette rested her arms on the table, "Right in the middle of all the blood and gore?"
Ellis gave a small shrug with a nod, "I guess so."
"But yet you two are here together even though you got separated," Ashton's brow furrowed in confusion, "I'm a bit lost here sweetie."
"It's kind of a long story," Ellis admitted shyly, "A long…complicated story."
"In that case," Georgette looked at the others, "I say we go get dinner at Spago and you tell us everything."
"Dinner, but it's not even one yet," Ellis pointed out.
"Well that's because those boys won't be taking a break until a little around or even after three," Ella-Mae answered for her, "So, in that time we can talk about ourselves and tell you our life story before we hear yours."
In that amount of time Ellis did learn about these four women and how they came to be where they were today. They basically all had the same story when it came to the D-Days and how they all had been evacuated into safe zones. But their actual life stories were different.
Ella-Mae Daily was the wife of Jerry "Ol' Boss Hogg" Daily since three years before the infection. She had met the man at a blackjack table when she was in Vegas with her boyfriend at the time; apparently Jerry was as good a smooth talker as he was a card player. In the end Ella-Mae never returned back home with her boyfriend and sent word to her family that she would visit when she could.
Georgette Pippin was married for ten years to Karl "Robin Hood" Pippin and was the oldest of the girls, but in Ellis's opinion was the prettiest with her red hair. She had gotten married to Pippin a year after meeting him in a Vegas showroom. She had been a Showgirl at the time in a very flashy, feathered outfit with long legs and waves of red hair. She was the main girl of the group; the pride and joy of the team, but then Pippin showed up and she quit her days of dancing in front of multiple men to go to entertaining just one. She's never lifted her finger to work a day since.
Kelsey Tucker was the youngest of the group being only twenty-six, but she was also the only one who got married quicker than the rest. She married Benjamin "The Kid" Tucker a month after meeting him in Vegas when she went on a Graduation trip with her friends two weeks after graduating from high school. Her and her friends had been at the slots when they noticed the staring eyes of the handsome suitor and when he noticed they were looking back he made his move to sweep the girl off her feet. Little needs to be said after that because she hasn't been home since meeting him. Her parents could be dead for all she knew.
Then finally there was Ashton Mitchells who was there with Lenny "Sugar-Bear" Morris. They'd been together for four years after meeting in the military compounds during the outbreak. It wasn't much of story because Ashton had only gone on to say that she had always wanted to be a woman despite being born a man. The story of it was actually far more interesting to Ellis than he thought it would be; almost like a brave tale of a soldier finally finding who they were. It made him smile and Ashton appreciated beyond words the compliments given by the hick.
By the time the woman and Ellis had finished their talking the men were scooting their chairs back noisily and standing up to stretch their arms then finish off their drinks. They were chuckling about something as Georgette stood up gathering her purse from the table, "This is where we make our move or we'll lose our chance."
The other girls were standing so Ellis did the same thing, but as he turned around he jumped slightly at the sight of Nick standing presently close to him with a blank expression, "Boo."
"Nick, dammit," Ellis frowned collecting himself, "Don't do that."
The gambler snorted giving a smirk while placing a hand on Ellis's waist to bring their lips together, but Nick pulled back to watch the as the girls scattered off to find their other halves before returning his lips to Ellis's. He moved his lips to the kid's ear, "I have about a thirty minute break before I go back to that game."
"That so?"
"Yep," Nick slid his hand around to the small of Ellis's back pulling their chests together as he kissed the hick's neck, "And I would like to relieve some angry tension I have."
A chill went through Ellis and he brought his hands up to hold Nick's arms, "What are you goin' ta do about it?"
"Live with it," Nick sighed pulling back to look at Ellis, "The girls only ever rise from their seat if they want something. What do they want?"
"To go to some fancy-shmancy restaurant," Ellis said, "I don't even 'member the name of it. It was something like Sponge…or Spyglo…or Spagle."
"I think you mean Spago," Nick couldn't help, but show his bemused grin.
"Yeah, that's the place!" Ellis beamed, "Damn; that was actually pretty easy. Don't know why I didn't get that."
Nick chuckled, "Let me guess you were invited to dinner?"
Ellis gave a nod, "They wanna hear our story or whatever 'bout how we came to be."
Nick lifted an eyebrow, "You going to tell them about the nun?"
Ellis closed his eyes sighing, "Nick—"
"I know, I know," Nick's smirk grew in size, "She's not a nun—"
"Thank you."
"—but that doesn't mean she isn't a fucking God-loving whore."
Ellis smacked his lips then bit the inside of his cheek, "Anyone ever tell you yer an ass?"
"Every day," Nick answered, but then stepped back reaching into his pocket where he pulled out his wallet, "Spago…Spago…I don't think I've had the pleasure of eating there."
"It's expensive," Georgette had walked over with an arm around her waist from Pippin, "and classy."
"Good thing I got you new clothes," Nick winked at Ellis then opened his wallet.
"Who's the kid?" Pippin asked.
"I'm the Kid," Ben walked up with Kelsey on his arm, "and don't you ever forget that."
Pippin made a small amused noise, "My bad Tucker; let me try that again. Who's your better half Nick?"
"Better half?" Nick asked, "I am the better half."
"Yeah, with yer sparkling personality," Ellis muttered and the four laughed as Nick looked at him with a lifted eyebrow.
"I can easily leave your ass here in Vegas," Nick stated.
"You could," Ellis put his hands in his pockets giving a slight shrug, "but you won't."
"And that's where you're lucky," Nick turned to Pippin, "This is Ellis."
Pippin held his hand out, "Karl Pippin."
Ellis took his hand to give it a shake, but then switched it to Ben's outstretched hand.
"Benjamin Tucker."
"Nice ta meet you both," Ellis brought his hand back only to have it grabbed by Nick and five bills were pressed into it.
"Don't spend it all in one place," Nick said.
Ellis blinked in confusion, but pulled his wallet out to put the money away, and as he returned it to his pocket he spoke, "I'm just hungry, Nick."
"Yeah, but you're always hungry," Nick stated.
Ellis shrugged, "Yer point?"
Nick chuckled, "I don't have one."
"I," Ella-Mae sang from where she stood next to her husband, "just called us in reservations. If we get over there in twenty minutes we got a table in the private dining area."
"Then you better get on a going little missy," Boss Hogg said, "Their twenty minutes usually only mean fifteen."
"I know, darling," Ella-Mae kissed his lips quickly, "Come on girls," she looked at Ellis then, "and Ellis. We have a table waiting for us."
Nick grabbed Ellis's arm pulling him over to kiss his temple, "Be careful, El."
"I'll be fine," Ellis reassured.
"I'll meet you at the bar when you're done eating," Nick said then let him go, "Have fun."
"Alright, I'll see you later," he started towards the door where immediately Georgette and Ella-Mae each took up an arm of his.
The men watched the group of five leave all harboring around Ellis with giggles.
"You're damn lucky that boy of yours is a Sal Mineo, James Dean," Sugar-Bear stated, "Or I'd have to shoot him for talking all our girls away."
Nick snorted as a waitress walked in, "Ellis isn't gay." He pulled out a cigarette and lit it up with an amused laugh walking back over to the table, "He doesn't like men. I just seem to be his one exception."
"What the hell are you saying?" Boss Hogg sat down as well pulling out a cigar.
"He's engaged to some nun of a thing back in Georgia," Nick brought the cigarette to his lips as Pippin pulled his hat off.
He pointed the hat at Nick, "You're shitting us right now, aren't you?"
Nick shook his head and took the cigarette away to let out a puff of smoke, "He's engaged to get married to this girl name Abigail Harrison who is some Godforsaken little whore who loves God too much. She even banned me from going into their house."
"Wait, wait. Let me get this straight," Pippin put his hat back on, "Are you telling us that your good ol' boy is currently in a relationship that inclines him to live with this girl that he is supposedly going to marry?"
Nick inhaled the sweet tobacco of his cigarette nodding, "Yeah." Nick watched them exchange looks so he pulled his cigarette out to talk, "He's a gentleman when it comes to woman, but he's also loyal as a dog."
"That doesn't make sense from what you just told us," Ben stated.
"He's loyal to me," Nick frowned, "Ellis is mine and he knows that. This little bitch is just an error that needs to be erased and then Ellis can stop his damn worrying about it." He was back to focusing on his cigarette.
"If I'm not mistaken, Ol' Nicky-boy," Sugar-Bear had also lit up a cigar and was sucking on it, "I'd say you were in love with this southerner."
Nick froze, but then lowered his cigarette not looking at the man, "I don't believe in love, Lenny."
"Everyone falls in love, James Dean," Boss Hogg said.
"Not me," Nick shot him a look, "I don't."
"Oh that's right," Pippin frowned, "You're an ass who doesn't give a shit."
"That's not true," Nick shook his head looking at the cards on the table, "I care about the hick, but that doesn't mean I have to love him."
"No, but it does mean he has to worship the ground you walk on in order for him to be important to you," Pippin barked, but it got no reaction out of Nick, "Unbelievable."
"Let's just get back to this game," Ben broke in, "I'm sick of listening to this shit."
Nick placed the cigarette in his mouth and sat up straight fixing his jacket ignoring the looks he was getting from the men at the table. His choice of words were true and he believed them true…he wasn't in love with Ellis. Love was a ridiculous thing that little girls made up when they dreamed of meeting Prince Charming. In the real world there was no such thing as love in Nick's mind…only him and the one person he cared about: Ellis. But it wasn't love. It would never be love. Because love was a myth and he wasn't about to start believing in those.

Ellis let the waitress take his plate away then grabbed his beer up taking a long swig of it as the women around him leaned forward on the table with curious eyes. He had told them the story of how Nick and him met, when they began their "relationship", when they were separated, reunited, and all the way up to now. He even included his doubts about Nick after hearing the man's lies being confessed and also mentioned all the past involving Abigail and what was currently happening with that.
"So, technically," Ashton started, "you're here celebrating your bachelor party?"
"Yes," Ellis nodded, "I am."
"I'm finding it really hard not to judge you," Kelsey said leaning back in her chair, "It's wrong."
"Why don't you just call off the wedding?" Georgette asked.
"B'cause I had promised her father on his death bed that I would help take care of the farm he owned. The only way she'd be able to keep it was if I married her and when I spoke t'him about it…I thought Nick was never comin' back," Ellis said simply, "I thought he was gone from ma life. Our friend Rochelle had told him where I was…that's how we returned t'each other."
"So what are you going to do?" Ella-Mae asked.
"I don't know," Ellis shrugged looking at the table, "but I have t'think of somethin' fast. The weddin' is this weekend." He sighed glancing back up at them all, "Can God spite you fer getting married t'a woman while yer lover stands behind you as the Best Man?"
The question had all the girls laughing, including Kelsey. Georgette's laugh faded first though, "Ellis, can I ask you a serious question?"
"Sure, go ahead," Ellis straightened up in his seat.
"Do you love Nick?" Georgette asked and all the girls glanced at her before turning curious eyes on the hick.
"W-w-what?" Ellis stuttered out.
Ella-Mae pulled out a cigarette to light, "She asked if you loved Nick."
"I, uh," Ellis licked his lips feeling his nerves starting to rack at his body, "Well…um." They were staring at him hard like hawks circling a meal and he couldn't find his voice to respond. It was making him even more nervous than the question had.
"Ellis."
The hick turned in his chair to see Nick standing there (how long had he been standing there?) with one hand holding a cigarette to his lips and the other in his pocket, "N-N-Nick, I thought I was going to meet you at the bar."
"I got bored," Nick said simply, "and took my winnings while I had the chance."
"Wow, Nick," Georgette said, "I never knew you to walk away from a card game."
"Usually I don't have a reason to walk away from one," Nick put the cigarette in his mouth and grabbed Ellis's arm, "Come on, El."
Ellis allowed himself to be pulled out of his chair, "Are we goin' back to the room?"
"Yeah," Nick answered letting his arm go and moving his hand to the kid's back.
"Oh, okay," Ellis smiled back at the girls, "It was nice meetin' all y'all."
"You too," Ella-Mae chimed.
"Good seeing you too, Nick," Georgette added.
"Sure," Nick mumbled, "Let's go."
Ellis threw a wave at the table before letting Nick lead him out of the restaurant in pure silence. It was a grim silence. A silence which worried Elis, but he couldn't find words to ask what was troubling the cardshark. Could it be that he had heard Georgette's question? Or was it because he had lost a lot of money? Either way Ellis was finding it hard to ask the man a question let alone speak at all.
Their silence stayed like that all the way back to the hotel and to their room where once there Nick was throwing his jacket onto a chair and going into the bedroom.
Ellis followed like a puppy unsure what to do, but the minute he stepped into the room Nick was grabbing his waist and forcing him back onto the bed as the conman's lips attacked his neck. Ellis gasped in surprise and grabbed onto Nick's shoulders closing his eyes and arching his head back. The exposed flesh was nipped at, grazed with teeth, and licked by a talented tongue before the man on top of him was crawling off. Ellis sat up to move farther back onto the bed pulling the blazer off as he went. He tore the shirt from himself as well just as Nick returned without his own shirt grabbing onto the hick's waist and sliding the other hand up his chest to cup his chin. Their lips connected and Nick's tongue darted into the hick's mouth in a kiss of pure ecstasy, but it made Ellis's nose scrunch up and he pulled back which only got the lips to move onto his neck, "Nick, wait."
"No," Nick's muttered.
"You taste like smoke, how many cigarettes did you'ave?" Ellis asked.
Nick lifted his head to look at him with a frown, "Seriously?"
"Yes, seriously, it's usually not this bad," Ellis stated, "but you literally taste like an ash tray."
"And you know what that taste likes?" Nick asked.
"Actually I do," Ellis admitted, "One time when I was little I got dared to lick one."
"I regret asking," Nick muttered, but then climbed off him, "I see your point though. I'll go brush my teeth three times and drink the mouthwash."
"Thank you," Ellis sat up watching him go into the bathroom, "I'm going to take these incredibly-hard-ta-get-on shoes off." He drew his legs up closer to him to untie the black converse. He untied them both then went to loosening them well enough to where he could slip his feet out. He tossed the pair across the room along with his socks and rolled off the bed to land on his feet. He worked his way out of his pants and boxers so he could slip under the fresh, clean sheets, but once under there he felt warmth come over him. He sighed out happily curling more into the softness of the sheet. The covers were lifted and the mattress moved as weight was placed onto it. Ellis rolled onto his back just as Nick was moving to hover over him.
Nick lowered his lips to Ellis's ear brushing the soft flesh as he spoke, "Ellis, I want you on me."
Ellis turned to Nick so they could look into each other's eyes, "What?"
"I want you to ride me Ellis," Nick clarified with a devious smirk.
Ellis flushed red, but Nick only turned over to lie down on his back. The hick propped himself up on his elbows, "Really?"
"Yes," Nick closed his eyes never losing that smirk, "You get to be in charge tonight kid. I'm just going to lie here and supply you with my dick and lips."
"Is that it?"
"And a condom," Nick held up a hand with the tiny wrapped package between two fingers, "other than that…yeah, that's it."
"What about—"
"Bedside drawer," Nick answered.
Ellis moved to climb over Nick's chest and claw open the drawer finding the small bottle of lube, "Alright Mr. Gamblin' Man…I'll play yer game."
"Don't forget to prep yourself kid," Nick reminded.
Ellis turned himself so that he could get a leg on either side of Nick's hips; he put the bottle on the man's chest and rested his hands on the conman's shoulders, "You've stopped doing that with me."
"I know," Nick opened an eye, "but I'd like to watch as you fuck yourself with a finger."
"That sounds so wrong, Nick," Ellis said with a small smile, "but t'be honest…it kind of turns me on."
"Which part," Nick opened his other eye, "the part where you fuck yourself with a finger or the part where I watch?"
Ellis leaned down kissing Nick's bottom lip and gently tugged it as he pulled back, "Both."
"Where the hell has this Ellis been?" Nick asked while Ellis found a spot on Nick's neck to suck at.
"Stuck underneath you," Ellis aired against his neck.
"I still like that better," Nick muttered and Ellis turned his blue eyes up to him, "Sorry kid, but what can I say?"
"Nothing," Ellis suggested, "just lie there and look good."
"Now, that I can do," Nick held the condom up to Ellis, but the kid batted his hand away knocking the object to the ground, "Um, El…"
"Nick, we haven't used one in sometime," Ellis face scrunched, "or ever for that matter."
"We could start," Nick said simply, "It seems to be safer this way."
"You goin' ta get me pregnant?" Ellis lifted an eyebrow.
"Did you suddenly become a woman in the last few minutes?" Nick asked, but his eyes drifted down the farmboy made chest and he licked his lips, "No. You're still Ellis. Not Elise."
Ellis chuckled, "And yer still Nick…now are you goin' ta keep talkin'?"
Nick smirked up at him and Ellis slid his hands down Nick's body along with his own to where he could drag his tongue along the soft flesh just below the conman's belly button. He licked his lips and went even farther to where he could roll his tongue down the length of Nick's cock.
Nick groaned at the slickness of the tongue sliding down to the tip of his hardening erection, "Hey Kid, you want to speed this up a bit?" The mouth vanished and Nick glanced down to see Ellis staring up at him with frown, "What?"
"Would you rather do this?" Ellis asked and the gambler fell silent for a long second before smirking deeply, "What are you thinkin' about?"
"The look on your face if I suck you off," Nick answered.
Ellis hesitated in his response which got Nick to sit up, "I thought you wann'ed me t'do everythin' tonight."
"Yes, but you also want to know what it feels like to receive a blow job," Nick said and Ellis rose to his knees with furrowed brow.
"I've gotten 'em b'fore," Ellis said, "jus' not from a guy."
"Oh, but I'm not any guy," Nick wrapped his arm around Ellis's waist and pulled the hick while turning him so that he was pinned to the mattress. Nick ran his tongue up the kid's neck all the way to where he could place his lips next to his ear, "I'm Mr. Gamblin' Man."
Ellis let out an earnest laugh nuzzling his face into Nick's hair kissing his head, "I'm really glad we came 'ere Nick."
"Yeah me too kid," Nick sighed, "Me too." He lifted his head back to stare into those Southern blue eyes and gently pressed their lips together getting Ellis to squirm slightly underneath him. The gambler pulled away to look at him, "What are you doing?"
Ellis averted his eyes with a small blush, "Nothing."
Nick smirked, "You want me to touch you, Ellis?"
Those eyes met his again and the kid nodded slowly, "Yes…"
He chuckled darkly and placed a kiss to Ellis's collar bone before trailing a line of them down his chest all to the soft flesh below his belly button. He nibbled the skin and Ellis twitched under the contact, but then he was letting out a gasp as Nick's lips pecked his slowly hardening cock.
"Nick," Ellis said quickly and the cardshark made a small noise as his lips dragged down him more, "Are ye-you s-sure—ah!" The accent was cut off by Nick's tongue flicking over the tip of his cock and he gasped loudly while complete bliss washed over him. Not even a minute into this and he didn't care one second that they'd suddenly switched gears. There was always tomorrow to ride Nick to kingdom come, but right the feeling of his mouth surrounding his cock for the first time was like a gift from God Himself.
Goddammit was he going to Hell.
