It's that time again! What time you may be asking... it's story time~! I'm sure a lot of you thought I was going to say adventure time ain't cha? Well I wasn't...okay so I was thinking about it but it wouldn't have made sense. Well whatever, here you go I hope you like it.

Chapter 11

The Rest Is A Blur

There was only three more days until it was Saturday, the day that Sasuke and I were to, what I believed, go on a date. I was so nervous about it that the next three days passed by so quickly is was a blur. I still remember most of it or at least the parts that were somewhat important.

The day started out as it usually did on Wednesday, I got on the train, Sasuke was there, Sasuke teased me about not listening and I got off my stop. Nothing out of the ordinary.

For first period I had a chemistry lab to do, and I couldn't wait until the torture was over. The torture had nothing to do with the experiment itself, but one of my lab partners. To be exact, the torture of doing this experiment was doing it with Kiba Inuzuka.

"Come on Naruto, can't you just introduce me to that hot babe you were talking to on Monday?" Kiba begged for the umpteenth time.

"I told you no." Naruto firmly replied.

The 'hot babe' that Kiba kept on begging Naruto to introduce him to, guess who it is, me. Apparently Kiba was in the shopping district with Naruto on Monday and as he put it, it was love at first sight. In my case it was lust at first sight.

There was no way that Kiba could actually be in love with the me on Monday otherwise he would be in love with the me on Tuesday, today and possibly tomorrow, but he wasn't. he still thinks I need some 'improvements' like a bigger set of boobs and plastic surgery to reduce my forehead, just like how I still think he needs a muzzle and to be neutered.

"Come on man! You know I would hook you up with one of my hot friends if you liked them." He pleaded.

"Listen here Kiba, no means freaking no! so stop bothering Naru about it and focus of the experiment before you mess it up!" I commanded, totally annoyed that he was talking about me like I'm some kind of object Naruto could lend.

"Whoa! Someone seems jealous." Kiba stated as he jabbed Naruto which led to Naruto pouring out more than he was supposed to into the test tube.

Luckily nothing bad happened but we did have to start our lab from the very beginning. And this time Kiba stayed quite, thank God.

By the time it was lunch time, I wasn't hungry. I was just tired.

"What's the matter Socks? You look drained." I heard TenTen say.

"I'm just feeling sleepy is all." I yawned before putting down my head.

"Well you can use my jacket as a pillow and we'll wake you up when lunch is over." Ino told me as she folded her jacket into a square.

Thought I always bag on Ino about her granny knitted sweater, it was understandable as to why she would bring it to school and face the risk or being laughed at. It was so soft…. and comfortable to…

"Sakura-chan, lunch is over." A deep voice said.

In my state of confusion, I thought it was Sasuke waking me up but that didn't make any sense, he doesn't go to this school. But due to me being a little slow when first waking up, I called Naruto Sasuke. Which was a big mistake.

"Naru, I told you I'm sorry. You can't blame me for that, I just woke up!" I pleaded my case to him as we walked to our next class.

"Your eyes were open." was Naruto's comeback.

Just because my eyes were open doesn't mean my eyes were open." I said idiotically.

Naruto's face began to turn red until he could no longer keep it in. "Ha ha hahaha!"

"Stop laughing at me. You're hurting my itty bitty feels." I pouted hoping it would get to him.

But Naruto knows me better than that, meaning he knew I was faking my sadness. You would think that he would have stopped laughing anyway but no, he didn't. He kept on laughing until we got to class. At least he stopped then.

Once again Sasori was in my seat with Tayuya, it was like he had no respect for the seat system or me. Rage over took me in that spilt second and I marched right up to them. I wasn't talking this laying down. Not today!

"You're in my seat…again." I commented to the two notorious delinquents.

"So, what's your point?" Tayuya answered sharply.

Sasori didn't even look up from his phone, not that I was surprise. Like most people it looked like his phone was his life and only if he consider you to be important or if his phone was dying would he take you on. I refuse to be brushed off as uninteresting. I would get his attention today.

"The point is that you can't keep making this an everyday thing." I could feel the confidence from Monday coming back and transforming me to the girl I was that day, "I'm not having it and I don't care who you are or who you're with or what your reputation is. I want my fucking seat and I want it now!" I said venomously.

The bus went silent, even my thoughts were empty. I really did it now.

"Well you'll just have to-" Tayuya was cut off

"Let's go sit somewhere else Tayuya." Sasori stated, putting his phone away.

"You're not really gonna move and give in to her little demand are you?" Tayuya asked in disbelief.

"She made her point and I'm going to respect it as well you." Sasori replied unfazed by the whole ordeal.

After Sasori said those words, they both walked away and sat somewhere else.

They listen to me, they actually listened to me! Well Sasori listened to me and Tayuya listened to him but it's technically the same thing I guess. Okay so it wasn't. My eyes shifted to Sasori every once in a while until his stop came and he had to leave. Thankfully Tayuya left with him too. I don't think I could have pulled another stunt like that so soon after the first one.

Today I gain a whole new found respect for my fellow bus taker and little did I know I gained respect from someone else, Red.

On Thursday, the students were dead… or so they seemed to be as they did not move an inch as the teacher before them spoke.

"Blah, blah, blah" she babbled on sounding like one of the adults on Charlie Brown.

"Is this class ever going to end?" Naruto inquired.

"I hope so because she's boring me to death." I replied and continued my doodling, waiting for the day to finish.

Today as everybody already knew was Thursday and not just any Thursday. Oh no it was treat me Thursday… ok, ok. So it as so happened to be the Thursday before Friday which was also the day before the big day. Long story short, it meant that there was only two more days before I spend Saturday with Sasuke… not that I was keeping track or anything.

Ring!

The last bell sounded and all that could be heard were the scraping of chairs, the zipping of book bags and pencil cases and the chatter of teens continuing unfinished conversations as they exited the classroom. Naruto and I walked out to his bike and I thanked God it wasn't raining because I didn't feel like being made fun of today.

'Treat Me Thursday' was something Naruto and made up when we were in the fifth grade and have been doing ever since. But as we got older and our schedules got busier due to the different interest we had, it just became a thing that we did whenever we were free on a Thursday. As it turned out today was one of those free Thursdays. Naruto didn't have any football practice and I didn't have any track and field practice. So off to our destination we went!

"Hello and welcome! I'll be your sever today." Hinata said with a false smile that I knew was because of me and not Naruto.

Yup, Naruto and I went to Sasuke's family bakery. It was totally Naruto's idea. I had nothing to do with the decision. I mean I see Sasuke every morning, there was no need for me to see him in the evening too. Speaking of people I see in the evening, I wonder if Sasori went to school today. And if he did, I wonder if he missed seeing me on the bus?

Clearly I had too much boys on the brain and I didn't even know how I truly felt about them.

"Hi Hinata. Today I think I'll have whatever you recommend and Sakura will have it too." Naruto smiled, not even knowing the power he has over Hinata when he does that.

Someone should really tell him and seeing as I was the only one there who saw this…I was the one for the job.

"Naru, what have I told you about smiling at girls like that? You know it makes them weak kneed!" I commented.

"I'm sorry Sakura-chan but that my smile and if you think that's true that I make girls weak kneed than why doesn't it work on you?" Naruto enquired.

Funny enough it did work on me and sometimes it still does but I wasn't about to admit that willingly. The last thing I need him to know was that I kinda had a crush on him growing up. Agh! Again with the boy problems.

"Cause I'm immune to it thanks to our years of friendship." I replied.

"So it did work on you once!" Naruto exclaimed with a grinned causing me to blush uncontrollably.

"Shut up." I mumbled.

"Two mini flans. One for you" Hinata sweetly said as she gently placed Naruto's down in front of him, "and one for you" she said in a grumble as she dropped mine in front of me.

"Thanks Hinata" Naruto replied happily.

"Yea thanks Hinata-san." I grumbled.

To my delight, the flan tasted heavenly. I think I found my new favorite thing! I was even think of asking Naruto if he wanted to make this our new Treat Me Thursday place but then someone, unintentionally, reminded me that maybe, just maybe it wouldn't be a good idea.

Walking through the double doors of the kitchen, holding two orders of strawberry cheesecake was Sasuke and he was coming this way. Which could only mean that those were our cheesecakes.

"Two strawberry cheesecakes." Sasuke stated as he sit both of them down in front of me.

"Actually, one is for Naruto,"

"Really? I know how much you love strawberry cheesecake so I just thought that they were yours." Sasuke smirked.

"Well their not Sasuke."

Sasuke bent down closer towards me as he said, "What, no Sasuke-kun anymore."

"Oi Teme, your ruining our moment." Naruto hissed and if I didn't know any better, I would think that he was jealous. But knowing Naruto for as long as I have, I knew his big brother mode was activated.

"And we wouldn't that to happen now would we? I guess I'll see you tomorrow Sakura-chan." Sasuke smirked, "Try not to think about me or Saturday too much until then."

I wanted to say a snippy comment back at him but the only thing I could do was blush my head off.

I was so happy that it was finally Friday! But like any other day before a big event, the day did not end quickly. My class dragged on and on until it was time lunch. Even lunch was uneventful or maybe I was just too busy freaking out about tomorrow to even notice anything. After lunch classes began again and before I knew it, it was time to go home.

One thing I definitely do remember about Friday was that Sasori wasn't on the bus…

This chapter was different from the others for one reason only, I put three days into one chapter and it was simply because I had to make the other days seem boring even though things happened. I'm sure many of you have experienced this, you're so excited about something, everything else pales in comparison. I know it has happened to me! so you know the drill, I need feedback on this story so I know I'm doing something right.
