As soon as everyone was told the severity of the character in the drawing, everyone sobered up.
"So. Should we get going?" The Doctor asked, twiddling his fingers nervously enough to make Steve's eye twitch.
"Do you think you can stop doing that?" Steve asked, motioning towards the Doctors hands. The Doctor tucked his hands under the table.
"Let's go. Thanks for all the help Urania." Dean said with a small nod. She waved a dismissive hand at him as she gathered the drawings and stuffed them in the bag. She handed it to him as she said, "Take these. They're nothing you haven't already figured out but their might still be something that could help perhaps."
"Are you all done with your slightly sentimental conversations? We really should get going. Trying to avert a catastrophic event doesn't really give you much time for goodbyes, don't you say?" Sherlock asked as he walked out the door. John followed soon after, muttering what an ass Sherlock was.
"I don't mean to sound rude but I think the detective has a point." Natasha said as she glanced at Clint. Clint nodded before the two of them got up to follow Sherlock. Everyone rushed their goodbyes before leaving for the tardis.
They ended up in the lobby of the Stark Tower. Dean complained how they hadn't landed on the top floor in the elevator but was cut off by a frantic voice calling them to hold the elevator. Of course it was Steve to actually stick his hand out to stop the doors from closing. The woman hurrying towards the elevator was wearing a black tight shirt, jeans, and leather high heeled boots. She had what appeared to be a lab coat thrown over the crook of her elbow.
The woman hurried as she said, "Thank you." She turned to give a soft grateful smile to Steve before directing her attention to the buttons on the silver panel. Her mouth twisted as she contemplated the buttons before turning to look at everyone in the elevator. Everyone, respectively, looked back at her.
"Sorry to be bother but would anyone where to find Doctor Banner?" She asked, nervously thumbing the clasp on her satchel. Bruce looked over Dean's shoulder in surprise.
Dean let out a scoff. "You want to talk to the dork with glasses? Really?" He asked as he moved aside for Bruce. The woman gave Dean a small smile before turning her attention to Banner. Dean however, continued to look at Lucy with interest. She didn't look half bad either.
Her green eyes lightened up as she stuck out her hand. "Lucy Bosch. I'm from SHIELDS radiation science department. I'm a big fan of your works." She added the last part almost shyly. Bruce smiled and shook her hand.
"I would introduce myself, Miss Bosch, but it seems you already know me. Or of me." Bruce said as everyone pretended not to listen. The Doctor discreetly pushed the button to the top floor with the screw driver.
"Who hasn't heard of you? Your thesis data on gamma radiation is incredible. It's a proper shame SHIELD has you holed up here." Lucy said enthusiastically. She cleared her throat and tucked a piece of her wavy thick black hair behind her ear. "I'm getting ahead of myself. Of course I am. Sorry." She shook her head before turning to get something from her satchel.
Natasha immediately had her had hovering over one of the guns that was under her jacket. Clint's hand reached towards his back but he passed it off as trying to scratch the back of his neck, though the action was too tense to be casual.
Lucy brought out a small stack of papers, covered in a glossy cover with the shield insignia pressed boldly in the middle. She thumbed through a couple of the first pages trying to find her place as she talked, "See, a few days ago I made a discover while I was pouring over your previous files on—"
"I don't mean to sound rude lady but we're kind of in the middle of something important." Dean cut in. He smiled firmly at Lucy as he watched her gaze lift from the papers. She looked almost lost.
"I think we can direct you to… you can contact, ah…" Bruce looked to Tony as the billionaire let out a yawn.
"Oh yeah. Talk to Pepper Potts and you guys can schedule out an appointment." He replied lazily as rolled his shoulders. The doors opened up on the top floor. "JARVIS please direct Miss Bosch—"
"It's Doctor Bosch—"
"Miss Doctor Bosch to Pepper's floor and alert her beforehand that she has company." Tony finished. The bodiless British voice replied with a, "Right away sir."
"Can we get going already? We have slightly more important things to do." Sherlock said as he shuffled out of the elevator. As everyone began to move out of the windowed room Bruce looked back with an apologetic look in his eyes.
Lucy looked, eyes soft and distant before she snapped to it and pressed her hand to the door to prevent it from closing. "Sorry Doctor Banner but I believe this is important as well. It has to deal with Loki Odinson."
Everyone turned to look back at her. Thor took a small tentative step forward. "My brother… has he been found?" The blond asked.
Lucy shook her head. "No, nothing like that."
"The data you found…?" Bruce asked, eyes wide with interest. Lucy nodded with a smile as she stepped out the elevator cautiously. He smiled at her tentativeness.
"I thought maybe we could discuss the contents of the folder over… well over tea perhaps." She said with a slight blush.
"She's holding the papers ransom." Clint said with an amused look on his face.
Lucy's face paled slightly as she shook her head. "Oh, no! I didn't mean as a, a date. No that would be ridiculous." She looked like a deer caught in headlights. "Not that it wouldn't be wonderful Bruce. Banner! Scheiße." She cursed in German.
Bruce let out a chuckle. "I'll make the tea and we can discuss it in the kitchen." He replied, putting a hand on Lucy's back to guide her to the kitchen. He hesitated before turning back and looking at the rest of the group. "You guys can tag alone."
Tony sauntered up to Bruce and but a hand on his shoulder. "You know me Bruce. I wouldn't miss a science chat for the world." He said with a grin.
"It doesn't seem like it." Sherlock muttered. He took a step forward as well. "I may as well come."
The Doctor leaped forward enthusiastically. "Ooh, this should interesting."
"I think that's pretty evident, actually." Lucy replied with a smile.
A/N: Right. Apologies are in order for anyone still reading this like wow you guys rock if you haven't given up hope. Obviously I still plan on writing for this, so theres that. Also Lucy's last name is Old High German (Lucy's kind of german) but it has the roots of the word 'tree' because I just kinda imagined Dean going 'yeah id climb that like a tree'
