***Chapter 11**
Kagome gave a sigh as she flew through the air, she didn't know what it was but she had a feeling that something was going to happen here soon but she didn't know what. As she landed she walked she heard someone yelling No I lost! She walked into the room and saw that Hitomi was holding onto a computer looking at what she thought was a stuffed toy.
"What happened?" Kagome asked as she moved to stand beside of Hiyo and Kurou, while Gin and Yuki stood behind her.
"Hitomi-chan was battling someone over an online auction site and lost." Yuki said while looking at them, Kagome moved closer and looked at the doll and couldn't help but think that it look Shippo showed her at one time along with some other stuffed toys.
"That is a limited edition soft toy that Jutaifu Corporation releases every century, an extremely rare one!" Hitomi said sadly since she lost the toy, before Kagome could tell the girl she could get her the doll if she really wanted it Maki spoke up.
"If you want it that badly, you should have offered higher bids, don't be so cheap!"
Kagome couldn't help but start chuckling when what Maki said seemed to get to Hitomi and she yelled at her while looking full of passion.
"Stupid you never bid higher than marker price! That is a true collector!...Talking about that." Hitmoi looked back at the computer
"This 'Night Wing' person appeared just recently and bagged some rare items by biding really high prices.." before turning away and yelling angrily "Wreak Havoc in the market!"
Kagome was still chuckling and started laughing softly when she heard Hiyo and Maki taking.
"Simply because she's stingy!" Hiyo said.
"That's why!" Maki said while looking at Hiyo
Again before Kagome could say anything to Hitomi about getting her a doll Mizuki came into the room and looked around before speaking to them.
"Hey, you guys there..Let me ask you…AHH…! Don't look at me like that!" she yelled when Maki turned and looked at her with the eyes of predator before being led away by Gin and Yuki when Maki was so far away Mizuki moved closer Kagome and Hiyo before speaking while still shivering.
"Ex-excuse me, did you see Chiya?"
"Chiya?" Hiyo asked while looking confused, before turning to Kurou, "Kurou did you see Chiya?'
"Nah?..I haven't seen her since yesterday." He said while looking down at them.
"That's so worrying.." Mizuki said while putting a finger to her mouth and thinking about where Chiya was.
"Totoko, you have such good relationship with Chiya!" Gin said while smiling at her.
"Of course! Because we are a fated combination!" She said while smiling, right then the teacher showed up.
"Students, please return to your seats." She said while smiling at them, "This is sudden decision, there will be a parents' visit in school tomorrow!" She said while there was gasped of horror and some especially Gin saying they were dead.
As soon as she heard that she started thinking about who would come to see her, since she had returned from the past Sesshomaru had basically taking over as her guardian. It wasn't that her mother gave her up, her mother just understood that Sesshomaru had taken her as his sister and heir to the empire he created over the years.
She was so in her thoughts that she didn't hear really anything so in thought wonder who would be making the trip to see her. When she came out of her thoughts she heard Kurou that is was going to introduce Hiyo as his fiancée, she couldn't help but smile when she heard that. Then start laughing at silly Hiyo started acting after that.
The next day Kagome set back and watched as everyone started getting nervous about their parents appearing. She couldn't help but smile since she still didn't know who was coming, she saw Gin's parents at the front. She watched as his father went straight to him and started rubbing his head hard, while his mother went straight to Yuki. Maki's mother and sister where wanting to know if she gotten a crow. Konta's mother and father stayed in their fox forms. When snow started and looked to the side and knew as soon as she saw the woman that this was Yuki's mother and father, he was truly the male version of his mother.
She looked around wondering when and who was coming to see her when she was quickly grabbed by the arm by Yuki.
"Let's us introduce you!" Gin said while holing Hiyo.
"This is our new classmates, Osora Hiyoko, and Higurashi, Kagom." Yuki said while smiling and holding Kagome beside of Hiyo while everyone looked at Hiyo in shock, before everyone looked up when they heard wings flapping.
"Hiyo! Hey!?" Her father yelled before flying down.
Kagome couldn't help but move a little away again and spreading her senses out trying to find out who was coming for her. She listened as the parents talked about how Hiyo's father was the strongest person in their history, and Kagome had to agree she could tell he was holding a lot of power back. Deciding to see just how well he controlled it she sent a little of her power at him and watching in amusement as he froze and turned widened eyes toward her and couldn't help but channel her inner aniki and give him a smirk and winked which seemed to put him a ease. Kagome again couldn't help but pout so far no one had come to see her and she was starting to wonder if Sesshomaru had been made aware of today. She was again pulled from her thoughts when she felt to powers coming toward them and looked over as a tall man with a woman in his arms landed on the ground.
Kagome could sense the woman and couldn't help but wonder what this woman was going to be like so far whenever she met anyone who held this much power, other than her aniki she didn't truly care for them. They all thought they were better than others and seemed to also think they are above getting punished when they do something they shouldn't.
"AH! That's the soft toy I lost at the online auction!..Could it be, that person is my enemy, Night Wing?" Hitomi asked while shocking people around her for being so loud all of a sudden. Kagome looked back at the woman and noticed she was about the same size as Hiyo, and was a beautiful woman if she still looked like a child. But knew from her aura that she wasn't truly the nicest person she held a taint to her soul not even to be evil, but enough that Kagome wouldn't turn her back to this woman.
"Good day! I am Korou's mother." She said while looking at everyone and smiling, Kagome wasn't truly surprised by what happened next and knew this woman was about to show her true colors.
"Your head is raised to high." She said while still smiling.
"In front of "The Dark Night Priestess" Miyako, please bow your heads in reverence." The man who Kagome figured was Korou's father.
Kagome could hear everyone talking about the priestess and then glanced out of the corner of her eyes and watched as everyone bowed to the woman but for Hiyo and herself. Hiyo didn't cause she didn't understand what was going on, and Kagome didn't because she only bowed to one person and that was her aniki.
"Sit at the last seat." Korou's mother said while still smiling at Hiyo and what she said next made Kagome blood boil and decided this woman would be taken down a few pegs.
"You filthy human."
Kagome walked forward and placed herself between this woman and Hiyo and looked down on the woman and acted how she once did in Sesshomaru's court.
"One should know their place in things before they give orders." Kagome said while making everyone freeze and look at her and many especially the students that knew her had never seen or heard Kagome speak in such a tone or how her whole demeanor had changed.
"And who are you to speak to me in such a way?" Miyako asked while glaring at the girl standing before her.
"Someone who is your better, so know your place last I checked it wasn't the crows in charge of the monster world now was it." Kagome said while looking at the woman who flinched at her gaze while others gasped.
Miyako didn't know who this girl was but she didn't like her, she had never seen eyes like this girls' before they held knowledge. She soon was pulled from her thoughts when Koruo stepped forward and spoke.
"Honored mother, please take back those words, because Hiyo is my most beloved lover. She is my only bride. Further more, Hiyo is not a human. She is a crow with white wings—one of our kind." He said while moving and standing by Hiyo's side and resting his hand on her shoulder and looking at his mother.
Kagome couldn't help but continue to glare at the older woman even when her attention turned away from her and to Hiyo's father, and said she would kill everyone there if he didn't come to her.
"You truly are that confident in your powers that you think you can kill everyone here?" Kagome asked while moving forward and looking at the woman who turned to look at her while smiling.
"Of course I can." She said while still smiling before frowning when Kagome spoke again while giving her a Sesshomaru smirk.
"I would love to see you try." While looking at her and letting her powers make her eyes glow, which made Miyako's eyes widen before looking away and acting like nothing happened, and moving toward her husband.
"Hey, go and greet Shou-kun, too!" she told him and when Hiyo's father went to greet him he called him a traitor, and when he went to on about how Shou married a human and had a child and disgracing them all Kagome had, had enough it was true she was different now, but it didn't change the fact she was born human and still had her human family. She was letting her power gather in her hand and was about the launch it at the crow when Hiyo spoke up.
"UGH..Even though I don't really understand the matter, please don't speak ill about my parents or any other humans, okay?!" she said while standing there looking at them and looking scared and mad at the same time.
When Miyako moved forward she pointed at Hiyo and spoke.
"Kurou, you definitely cannot pair up with that girl." She said while still smiling even though everyone was frowning at her.
"Mother." Kurou said while looking at her.
"Your bride has been chosen for you. Come.." Miyako said while raising her hand and everyone heard flapping sound and looked over right when Chiya landed.
"Hello brother Kurou." She said while standing there like she had every right.
Kagome moved to the side again and looked everything over, she remembered Sesshomaru telling her once that even though it was frowned upon by humans siblings could marry each other with demons and monsters. She even heard what Shou was telling Hiyo and couldn't believe that it was still going on to this day and age, five hundred years ago she could understand but now in this time. She was going to have to speak to Sesshomaru about that. She was so in her thoughts that she almost didn't hear Chiya speaking about Haine, then she was going off about wanting a prince charming.
When Kurou was about to approach his mother and father his mother release her powers on her own son and Kagome thought enough was enough, and released hers and placed a barrier around this woman and raised her off the ground and moved forward.
"Kurou you alright?" Kagome asked while glancing at him, he couldn't speak and nodded his head, before looking back at the woman who didn't understand what was going on.
"Drunk on ones power leads to the down fall of all with power." Kagome said while moving forward while everyone stared in shock that someone actually attacked the priestess.
"How dare you! Release her at once!" Kurou's father said while moving forward as if to touch her, but was stopped by a voice.
"If you value your life crow, and the life of your family you shall not touch this Sesshomaru's imouto." Sesshomaru said while walking forward in all his glory, but instead of his arm and clothes of old he wore a three piece black and silver suit, but still with his tail over his shoulder.
Kagome was so shocked to see him she dropped the barrier and smiled before moving toward him and grinning and hugging him.
"Aniki you made it! I was starting to think no one was coming to see me." Kagome said while looking up at him and smiling at him, but looked away from him and to everyone when it was almost yelled and everyone was on their knees.
"LORD SESSHOMARU!"
At that moment Kagome moved to stand by her aniki's side while he looked over everyone who was staring still in shock.
"Kagome!? Who is this?" Hiyo asked again not understanding what was going on and was surprised when Kagome smiled and her and walked forwarded and grabbed her before moving around and grabbing Kurou and helping him up and getting Yuki and Gin and pulling them toward Sesshomaru the boys in horror tried to gently pull against her, but stopped when she looked at Sesshomaru.
"Aniki these are my friends, Osora, Hiyo, Tenma, Kurou Kouya, Ginjirou, and Snow-White, Yuki. They have made my school life so much fun and I truly enjoy my time here with them." She said before turning and looking at them, "Guys, meet my aniki Tashio, Sesshomaru." She said while still smiling before grinning when all Sesshomaru did was 'Hn' at them before looking back down at her.
"Imouto why are you using your powers while at school?" Sesshomaru asked while looking at her which Kagome looked away with lightly puffed checks.
"How much did you hear?" She asked while looking over her shoulder and looking at the crows and letting her eyes harden when she looked at Kurou's family.
"Enough." Sesshomaru said while looking at her and understanding why she did what she did and was surprised that the female crow was still alive after what he had heard. Before Kagome could say anything Hiyo decided to ask what everyone was wanting to know especially the students that knew Kagome wasn't a dog demon.
"Um, Kagome I was wondering how are you two related since you don't look alike." Hiyo asked while looking at Kagome while resting a finger on her lips and looking like she was thinking very hard.
Kagome looked at Sesshomaru to ask his permission to tell them and when she saw his nod she looked back at everyone and smiled.
"We aren't truly related, aniki adopted me into his family and made me his imouto and heir." Kagome said while smiling at them and watching a look of understanding going across everyone's faces. But Kagome and Sesshomaru quickly frowned when they heard Miyako speak.
"Then you have no calm to power other than what was offered you when Lord Sesshomaru took you in." Miyako said while smiling like she said something wonderful.
"You dare speak against this Sesshomaru's imouto? You who is only the priestess of darkness, when this Sesshomaru's imouto is the Shikon Miko who holds power to equal this Sesshomaru?" Sesshomaru asked while everyone gasped when they heard that and Kagome looked at all the adults. Kagome didn't even react to what Sesshomaru said but watched as Miyako seemed to pale and step back toward her husband in fear of Kagome. Kagome quickly looked back at Sesshomaru in surprise and shock when he spoke next.
"Imouto what is it this Sesshomaru's hears of you trading feathers with a crow and accepting him to court you?" Sesshomaru asked while looking down at Kagome with a knowing look that only she knew he was amused by what he had heard and her reaction.
