Cooper picks Tammy up at her house at five pm. Tammy's wearing a tight purple top and black shorts. "You said to dress fun and casual. Does this work?" She asks Cooper before she presses a deep kiss into his lips.

Cooper kisses her back. After they break the kiss he checks her out looking her up and down.

"Do I pass?" She asks.

He grins. "You're off the charts."

Cooper's wearing a black t-shirt and jeans.

"Where are we going?" Tammy asks.

"To the pier." Cooper chuckles. "I can't believe someone can live in LA over a year and have never been to the pier."

Tammy raises her hand. "I can." She laughs. She's impressed Cooper remembered she told him the first night she met him at the bar that she moved to LA a little over a year ago and has never been to the pier in Santa Monica."

"This is the perfect time of day to go. We can watch the sunset from the ferris wheel." Cooper tells her.

"Sounds romantic." She grabs his hand and holds it as he drives the to the pier.

"I'll go get the tickets." Cooper kisses her. "You wait here." Cooper waits on the long line to buy tickets. He can't help but think about the last time he was here. It was with Charlotte a week before she told him she was married before. They had a remarkable time together, laughing and just hanging loose. Cooper snaps back to reality when it's his trun to buy the tickets. He finds Tammy and they walk down the drive to the ferris wheel.

""How was work?" Tammy asks as they walk.

Cooper shrugs, she grabs onto his hand and holds it. "Nothing really to speak of." He doesn't want to tell her about his conversation with Charlotte although he wonders if he should.

Tammy points out the roller coaster "Let's go on that next."

Cooper laughs. "The roller coaster is Charlotte's favorite ride." After he says it he wishes he could take it back.

"You're thinking about Charlotte?" Tammy sighs."You're not over her."

He squeezes Tammy's hand. "I'm sorry but I'm trying really hard."

She squeezes his hand tight. "Don't worry about it. I'll help you get over her."

Cooper laughs as they climb into their car of the ferris wheel. "How do you intend to do that?"

She squeezes his butt as he sits down in the car. He ends up sitting on her hand. "When I'm done with you won't even remember the name Charlotte King."

"Really? I like that." Cooper quirks an eyebrow as Tammy clutches his butt in her hand. They sit for a few minutes enjoying the ride and breathing in the ocean air. The car of the ferris wheel rocks and it feels good.

Tammy looks out over the ocean. "This sunset is awesome?"

"Yeah, it is," he says."

After the ferris wheel, they ride the roller coaster. Cooper thinks about riding it with Charlotte and it makes him sad. The roller coaster is definitely Charlotte's favorite. He feels a pang of guilt thinking about their talk in the office earlier and that she finally wants to tell him why she kept her divorce from him.

After the roller coaster they pass the arcade. "You any good?" she asks him gesturing to the basketball toss.

"Are you kidding?" He boasts. "Basketball is my game." They stop and buy some tokens.

"Mine too." she smiles.

"Oh, some competition?" Cooper grins. They play several rounds of basketball.

Cooper ends up winning but he's not quite sure she didn't throw the competition on purpose.

Cooper's won a handful of tickets playing basketball and Tammy gives him hers too. Tammy's beaming. "Looks like you won yourself a decent prize with all those tickets."

Cooper laughs, and grabs her hand. "C'mon, let's pick out your prize."

"For me?" She jokes putting her hand on her chest. It better be for her, she thinks.

They make it to the prize counter, " What do you like?" Cooper asks.

"you to pick something out for me."

Cooper surveys the stuffed animals they can choose from. Not the horse, he thinks to himself, those would be for Charlotte. He takes a while to look.

She nudges him. "That white bear is cute."

"Nah. Not that one," he says. He doesn't tell her but he won that same type of bear for Charlotte the last time they were here, shortly before they broke up.

Cooper finds one he has never given to Charlotte, "I think that little grey kitty is cute. It reminds me of you all sweet and cute."

"Aw, that's so sweet." She squeezes his hand. "Yeah, I like the kitty."

Cooper gets her the kitty and they walk around the pier hand in hand together. They stop on the way home to get some food and end up back at Tammy's place by ten pm.

The next morning Tammy wakes up to Cooper's naked body against hers. She turns to see if he's awake. He is. "How long have you been awake?" She asks.

"Not long." He answers. "I was waiting for you to wake up."

"I'm awake, now." She grins before she crushes her lips into his kissing him.

Tenty minutes later, they're laying in the afterglow. "Do you want to meet for lunch today?" She asks.

"Sorry, can't do it today." He tells her, remembering he promised Charlotte lunch at noon.

"Hectic day?" She asks.

"Yep!" He answers stretching. "But we can do dinner."

"It's a date. Meet me back here after work for dinner and a special desert."

Cooper smiles. He feels a little like he's cheating by not telling her he's having lunch with Charlotte, but this moment in the afterglow doesn't seem the right time to bring up Charlotte's name.
