Author's New Note

My dear friends, followers, fellow authors, and beloved fans,

I must ask you for your forgiveness for not keeping my promise to finish this story, and believe me I wanted to finish this more than anything in 2014…however, 2015 became worse before things got better in 2016.

I want to thank everyone very much from the bottom of my heart and soul for your concerns, sincere thoughts, letters, messages, comments, prayers, and kind words of encouragement. Your words were a pick me up on the days that were the most difficult to live through, and I really did want to pay back all the kindness and compassion everyone gave but sadly was unable to at the time due to either school, work, or drama.

2015 unfortuantly will be known in my life journey as my most challenging year, and praise the Lord I got out of it alive…barely…

To answer a few quick questions;

Yes, my best friend recovered from the hospital but had to return a few months later and needed a lot of support. I'm happy and relieved to say that she is doing much better now and is as determined as ever!

Yes, my dad recovered from his surgery, however he had to return to the hospital last December for collapsing due to shortness of breath and a new heart condition. We are keeping a close eye on him these days and more check ups till he finally recovers. Many prayers and thoughts would be most appreciated.

Sadly No, my stolen dog still hasn't been found, BUT I'm not giving up in looking for her!

Yes, I had to go back to school, regardless of the drama and chaos in my life. I barely got by but I'm hoping to graduate coming up in the Spring before going to finishing school.

Yes, (for those whom have met me last year at a local Convention I volunteered at) I am recovering from my leg injury and am taking a new swordsmanship class in the fall. Thank you very much for your encouraging words that day!

No, I didn't get married last year because my fiancé of six years called it off two months before the ceremony to elope with his new secret internet girlfriend. Two days later, my youngest brother proposed to his girlfriend and they were married this year in Jan. I got to be a bridesmaid and loved every min. of it. I ended up running into an old childhood friend who I used to crush on in high school and when he asked me out I turned him down at first, but he proved himself to be quite serious and insistent so I finally said I would give it a try (even though I didn't understand why he would ask me of all people). Turns out he had crushed on me years ago and didn't have the guts to say anything because he had to move to another state for school while I stayed at home. I had no idea! He was shocked to learn that I liked him from a distance as well years ago. In a couple of weeks will be a fifth month anniversary of going out, and I have to say it has been quite a healing process and incredible time!

Things haven't been perfect, but it has been a time of great healing and recovery so far. I want to thank all of you again for your patience, your understanding, compassion, brilliance, love, and support for my first love Fanfic and I hope to continue and deliver more to such lovely readers.

Many thanks and please continue to be beautiful hearted people!
