Woo Bin
For the past few days the mafia price had been on edge. It bothers him that everything is a mess and he seems to be the only one who noticed. Woo Bin still had a hard time thinking things through, even after the talk he had with his little sister. He still felt confused, he still didn't want to make things worse for the three of them, he just wanted to solve it not make it three times worse. Adding fuel to the fire is something he wanted to avoid so bad that it gave him chest pains.
Woo Bin was laying idly in his bed staring endlessly at his bedroom ceiling when he heard his phone rang. He was surprised to see the Ga Eul was calling, he wondered she still wanted to be alone after the events that unfolded in the hospital.
"Hello Ga Eul?" He greeted with uncertainty
She didn't answer. Woo Bin made a confused look as he stared at the dialer, it made his heart beat faster and it didn't feel good. She wasn't responding no matter how many times he said her name, the mafia prince began to worry.
"Don't hang up. I can still hear you breathing, Oh God I hope you're okay!" He said while he ran to his bright orange car.
It was hard to drive when have feeling that someone you know is in danger. Woo Bin's hands were shaking, he tried to tighten his grip on the wheel but it wasn't much help. Ga Euls call made him panic, he wasn't entirely sure why but he knew Ga Eul needed him, or else why would she bother calling? He tried to dial her number again but it kept going to voice mail, it worried him more that she wasn't answering any of his calls. So as soon as he hit a red light he dialled a number who he knew who could help him when it comes to Ga Euls state. After a few rings he answered.
"Ji Hoo, I think something happened to Ga Eul" he said immediately when his friend answered the phone.
"Where is she?" Ji Hoo asked calmly.
"I think she's at her house, the GPS on her phone is on so I traced it. I'm on my way there now" Woo Bin replied as he began to restart his engine.
"Alright, I'm coming. I'll call the others"
Woo Bin contemplated a bit. He knew Ga Eul wouldn't want the others worrying about her, she wouldn't be comfortable enough. But the others also have the right to know, specially Yi Jeong.
"Don't just yet" he decided. "It's best to make sure she's all right before worrying the others"
"Okay. I'll see you there then" Ji Hoo said and hang up the phone.
Woo Bin immediately ran up towards the house as soon as he parked. He tried knocking on the door multiple times but no one answered.
"Ga Eul! Are you there?" He yelled while he continually slammed his fists on the wooden door.
"Chu Ga Eul!" He yelled one more time before he kicked the door open and only to see that no one was home. He went room to room searching for the beautiful yet sick lady that always worried his fragile heart, but she wasn't there. Woo Bin's heart beat faster, hoping that she was in the last room he was about to open.
The room was dark, he couldn't see a thing. Woo Bin turned on the lights and saw her. She was laying still on the bed, pale and unmoving. The sight frightened him. "Ga Eul!" He yelled out as he ran towards her side. "Ga Eul! Wake up!" He said while continually tried to shake her unresponsive body. She had her phone in her hand and it looked liked that tears have dried on her face, her lips were pale and her cheeks have lost there color.
Moments later Woo Bin heard footsteps coming towards the room. Ji Hoo had just arrived in time, Ga Eul was still unconcious and Woo Bin didn't know what else to do. Woo Bin looked at Ji Hoo with eyes that begged. Begging his friend to help the girl that lay still in his arms. Ji Hoo placed his fingers on her neck, his eyes focused on Ga Eul.
"Her pulse is too slow, we have to bring her to the hospital now!" He ordered. Immediately Woo Bin scooped the fragile girl in his arms and ran out the room.
Kang San
Guem Kang San just finished a meeting that took all the hours of his day, and the youngest member of the Guem family was eager to come home. It was cold out when Kang San stepped out the building, he immediately felt the rush of the wind, so he called his driver to pick him up. He stood idly in front of the building when he noticed a familiar face coming his way.
"Hi Mister Techy!" The girl greeted with a cheerful smile. Kang San squinted his eyes, he believed he knew this girl, he just couldn't remember.
"Ah! You've forgotten me already! It's me Min-Jee!" The girl replied while he hit him lightly on the shoulder. Kang San made an awkward smile as he finally remembered the day whe he ate a bunch of cupcakes with a very chatty girl.
"Ahhh it's you Miss Chatty!" He said.
"See you remember! I thought I'd never see you again!" She mused.
"What are you doing here? Do you work here?" She asked curiously.
Kang San scratched the back of his head. He didn't know how to answer the question without sounding to cocky, and it was uncomfortable to say that he actually owned the place. So instead he went for the safe answer.
"Yeah I do, how about you? What are you doing here?" he asked akwardly.
"Oh I'm just strolling around when I saw you go out of the building" she said while she moved back and forth.
"Oh thats nice." He again, said awkwardly. He didn't know what to say, it was difficult for him to talk to pretty girls.
"Are you going somewhere? Do you want to eat again?" Min Jee said with glee as she held on to his arm.
Kang San bit his lip, wondering what to say while he looked down at the girl who wore the look he couldn't resist saying no too. Her eyes were big and round, her eyelashes long and thick and she blinked a bit slowly that it made her look so beautiful. Who could say no to that?
But he was also tired. "Well...Nowhere,I was just going-" He was cut off when Min Jee squealed in delight. "Thats great! Lets go then! I know a place, I'm sure you'll love it there" she beamed as she linked her arm to his and pulled him towards to the opposite direction of his house.
Ji Hoo
Once he saw her frail body he knew it was bad. It could mean a lot of things, but he was certain that her sickness had worsen. It was a painful scene to watch as he saw his friend hold on to Ga Euls body protectively as he lowered her inside the car. This shouldn't be happening, he thought. These kinds of things shouldn't be happening to anyone of them. None of them deserved to see or experience this much pain, the silent prince thought while he entered the drivers door.
"I'll drive, give me your keys Woo Bin" he said while he held up his hand, waiting for the mafia prince to hand him the keys. Woo Bin fished out the keys from his pocket while he gently cradled Ga Euls head in his arms. Her face was pale, her lips had no color in them and her breathing was shallow. Her state made him worry too, and that is not a good thing.
"Someone needs to be sane in this chaos" he whispered to himself as he started the engine and drove as fast as he can.
"We should call them, her parents" Ji Hoo mumbled while he focused on the road. Woo Bin looked uo to him and nodded.
"I think we should also call Jan Di and the others too, regardless of what Ga Eul thought" Ji Hoo continued.
Woo Bin stared at him for awhile then looked back at Ga Euls unmoving body. He looked longingly at her while he carresed the side of her face. Then he took out his phone from his pocket and dialled Jan Di"s number.
"Hello Jan Di, Ji Hoo and I are heading to the hospital, something is wrong with Ga Eul please come and please call her parents too!" Woo Bin informed Ga Euls best friend.
Over the phone Ji Hoo could hear Jan Di's panicking voice, he heard her yell a few things like.
"GA EUL-HOSPITAL-JUN PYOOO!!! - SLOW!!" He managed to smile at her goofiness, in times like this Jan Di always gave out positive energy. He loved her for that.
"Jan Di said they are on their way now" Woo Bin said while he hanged up the phone and placed it back in his pocket.
He had a worried look on his face, while she had no expression at all. Ji Hoo sighed, he couldn't think of a way to help, or at least lift the burden that was placed heavily on his friend. He knew Woo Bin had feelings for Ga Eul, he noticed it during the Truth and Dare game they had. He noticed the way the Don Juan looked at her, he noticed how much he cared for her, he had seen the way he acted around her. It was the same when Yi Jeung started to develop feelings for the country bumpkin, it was like it was happening all over again but this time with Woo Bin.
"Oh Ga Eul, what charm do you hold?" Ji Hoo said to himself while he took one last glance at the two.
Yi Jeong
The potter had been sitting in front of his laptop for hours. He had been searching for ways to help Ga Eul, treatments, cures, trials, anything to help her but nothing. He came up empty. It was frustrating him that he slammed his laptop shut and grabbed his hair forcefully.
"Ahhhh!" He screamed, all these research is giving him a headache, it felt like he was experiencing what he had with his mom all over again. It was infuriating him so he poured himself a bottle of vodka and drowned it. He was close to giving up but he knew he can't, he had to do this for Ga Eul. He had to do this for the girl he loves, it was the only way he knew he could help.
He was about to pour himself another drink when his phone rang. He saw that it was Song Woo Bin, so he picked it up.
"Hello Woo Bin?"
"Hello Yi Jeong! I need you to come to the hospital now! Its about Ga Eul! Hurry!" After saying those words Woo Bin ended the call leaving Yi Jeong frozen in his place.
After a moment had gone by Yi Jeong finally was back to his senses and ran out the door.
Phone in hand the potter ran as fast as he could to the hospital, completely forgetting that he had his keys in his pocket. But that didnt bother him, he knew he had to go to her as soon as possible. She needed him, he knew she needed him as much as he need her. Completely not caring of his surroundings Yi Jeong had bumped a lot of people on the way and it hindered him from going to her any faster.
Not aware of what was happening around him the potter barely noticed the loud honks made by the car that was coming his way.
I apologize for the long wait...again! A review would be highly appreciated! It keeps the story going! Lots of love!
