You wake to find your head spinning, your neck stinging from the bites marks, blood all over your neck, and just an over all weak feeling. Your vision is blurred and you can't seem to focus your hearing onto anything so you can't tell if your alone.
You try to clear your head but it only makes the pain worse. You aren't sure how much time passes as you sit there, trying to plan an escape route while wishing Dean would just show up.
Your muddled thought process was interrupted by a groan. Youre still seeing double but you can tell it came from in front of you. It's not long before you hear quiet sobs.
"Hey" your voice is hoarse.
"Hey" you say again. This time your voice is a little stronger.
"Huh?" The woman jumps.
"Were gonna get out of this." You soothe.
"No, you don't know what they did to them" she sobs.
You glance around the room and see a few bodies off in a corner.
"What's your name?" You struggle to make eye contact with her.
"Alexis" she sniffles.
"Hi Alexis! Trust me. Help is on the way" you try to sound positive.
"This is a nightmare!" She continues.
"Yeah but you always wake up at the end" you try to wiggle out of the ropes again. Just the small movements makes you lightheaded and almost pass out.
"I don't want to die! I have a fiancé and..." She blubbers
"Look, I've dealt with these things before." You interrupt.
"What?" She asks sharply
"How many times have they fed on you?"
"Feed?! They're gonna eat me?!" Her voices raises and makes the pounding in your head increase.
"Calm down! As long as they don't know we are awake, they'll leave us alone." You try to give your voice as much commanding power without being too loud.
Her sobs only slightly lower in volume.
"Alexis! I promise you, if you do exactly what I say, we will get out of this alive!" You assure.
She slowly begins to bring herself under control. Then the door creaks open.
"I thought I heard some noise in here!" Cal grins evilly and stalks towards you.
Alexis begins to shake.
"Stay calm." You whisper to her through gritted teeth.
"Where's your friend?" You ask.
"She's busy at the moment." Cal snaps
"Busy?" You nod mockingly. "Can't find her, can you?"
"She's wrong. I'm going to enjoy ending you." Cal stands between you and Alexis who struggles to keep her composure.
"You don't know who Dean Winchester is, do you?"
"Valerie thinks he's some hunter..." Cal rolls her eyes
"Oh he's not just any hunter." You chuckle. "He survived hell and purgatory. He defeated Lilith and locked lucifer back into his cage."
Even in your haze you could see that she was catching on.
"He took down Eve and Dick Roman..."
"You're lying! I don't believe you!" Concerned laced her tone.
"Really? Then why is there fear in your eyes?"
Her eyes turn to snakes eyes and her teeth extend down. She latches onto your neck and you try not to scream.
You can feel the life leaving your body. The ringing in your ears is almost deafening but you can see Alexis over Cals shoulder, loose all hope. You try to fight the blackness that is very quickly swallowing you. Your head begins to spin and that's when you see him. Dean. You can't tell if your hallucinating or not.
"Get your freakin' hands off my wife!" You hear a voice very similar to Deans say.
It takes a moment for your eyes to register that Cal is no longer latched onto your neck.
You try to focus on keeping the room still but then all of sudden you feel like your being lifted. You see Sam cut Alexis loose and that's when Dean comes into your view.
"Babe?!" His voice is filled with concern.
"Dean?" Your vision starts to hold steady.
"I got you." He smiles.
He picks you up and carries you outside.
"You're gonna be fine!" He starts rubbing circles on your back.
"I can't stay awake." You words slur together.
"No no no no no. Stay with me!" He whispers to you. "SAAAAMMMM!" He yells behind you. "We're going to the hospital now"
You try to hold the darkness off as long as possible. You remember the sound of the impala door shutting, the street lights passing across Deans face, revealing a very pained expression. The roar of the engine seems to be calling you to sleep. Your eye lids slide closed and it seems to take super human strength to push them open again.
The next thing you know you in a hospital bed, wires and tubes going everywhere. Dean is slumped over, holding your hand. Sam is no where to be seen.
You take a deep breath and try to move.
"Babe?" Deans head slowly rises.
"Hi" your voice is shaky and only a whisper.
"How ya feelin?" He asks. There's a soft smile on his face but tears fill his eyes.
"I'm okay." You return the smile.
He places a lingering kiss on your forehead.
"I'm sorry." Guilt painted his entire face.
"For what?!" You question.
"Getting you get kidnapped."
"Getting me get kidnapped? Dean, this wasn't your fault!"
"You have a target on you cause... Cause your my weak spot." He stumbled over his words and slouches onto the edge of the bed next you. Tears rolled down his cheeks.
"Dean... You're the reason I'm alive!"
"No, I wouldn't had to have saved you if..."
"Stop!" You pull his face to yours.
"They didn't know who I was at first. In fact, your reputation saved me."
Dean locks eyes with you.
"I just can't live without you." His voice is shakey and raw with emotion.
"I'm here now."
"I almost lost you..." Now tears streamed down both of your faces.
"You almost didn't make it." He snapped his eyes shut and tried to fight the tears.
"I'm a Winchester. It's what we do." Your somber chuckle was cut off by his lips.
The kiss was gentle but meant so much.
"I love you." He said as he pulled away.
"I love you too, Dean!"
