Chapter 11: Nightmares
Lucy's P.O.V
I slowly opened my eyes after my nap. I felt something beside me so i loked to my right and left. My eyes widen at the sight of him. It was Zeref. I missed him badly we haven't met for a long time. And here he was sleeping right beside me so relaxed and happy. I began to tear up when remembering all the good memories. I tightly hugged him but not tight enough to wake him up.
I miss him so badly. I haven't seen him for years or so he took care of me when i was little he's like my brother my adorable cute brother. I giggled to myself. I don't always think him as my brother though. Sometimes i think him as a lover somehow And friend. I carefully examined the place we were in.
It was a big, well-decorated room which i would suggest as a hotel room because of the complimenteries. I slowly got up and placed Zeref on the bed and rushed to the bathroom and took a refreshing bath while waiting for Zeref to wake up.
Zeref's P.O.V
I fell asleep while waiting for lucy to wake up. The dream i had was one of the weirdest thing i dreamed off. It was about Layla, lucy's mom. She was dying. She was wearing a black and white blood stained dress with her blonde hair let down. She was inside a coffin. She wasn't dead still breathing. It was as if she was going to die but the coffin wasn't allowing her to die. She could barely say any thing or keep her eyes open. And a little child was standing in front of the coffin. It was Lucy.
I tried to reach out for her but i couldn't do anything but watch. Lucy reached her hands out to touch Layla but something stopped her. Suddenly there was a soft evil giggle from the door beside her and there was a purple long haired girl that reached to her lower back she was wearing a black dress that fitted her petite body perfectly. there was a white fresh rose on her right shoulder. She slowly reached out to lucy's head as slowly a gold light began emitting from her hand it spread to cover both of them.
I closed my eyes blinded from the light. when the light dimmed down layla's coffin was gone and the purple haired girl was gone and there was layla carrying a sleeping lucy in her hands. Layla smirked and murmured quietly to herself, "The plan is going smoothly."
They both began to go through a door where the purple haired girl had gone through. I watched them as they go. When suddenly everything stopped it everything turned black and white the little lucy in layla's arm began to turn her head towards me. She had a huge smirk on her face, big red eyes and messy hair. My eyes widen. "Zeref-kun~ Where are you?!~" she asked to the empty room as if she didn't see me.
She began to walk to me. "There you are!". She reached out for my hand and suddenly everything began white and i woke up. I sprang out of my pillow and began to pant from the nightmare. My eyes still wide. Then i heard a door opening, it was lucy from the bathroom only in a towel hurrying out. "Ze-chan! Are you ok? i heard you scream!" She asked fastly.
i softly giggled and began to realize that it was all a dream. Lucy wouldn't be evil and i trust her not to be. I nodded at her and smiled. "I'm ok lu-chan". Lucy pouted and sighed. "Tell me if anything happens ok?" I nodded. "Ok ok lu-chan hihi" I hugged her tightly. "Welcome back lu-chan." She blushed lightly and turned her face away. "Baka..." she said softly as i giggled once again.
"Lu-chan, you should go change your clothes your only wearing a towel you know." i smirked. She flushed red and ran to the toilet with her clothes. I laughed. " Baka lu-chan." I shouted at her. "I am not..." She murmured through the door. "Sure~" I said disbelievingly. "Your really childish you know?!" She screamed at me through the door. "Childishly cute?" I asked. Lucy then mumbled something i didn't hear then went out.
She was using yesterday's clothes. "Lu-chan, where do you want to go?~ I'll accompang you~" i asked lu-chan. She looked at me and smiled at me. "Can we go to sabertooth? I want to introduce you to my family" She replied. "Let's go" I smilled.
