Chapter 11
Well she was wrong the town loved Billy within a week he had his own place and had moved his stuff in from his home in Grey Hill. I even think he is falling for Ginny. I am glad that Ginny is doing great and is happy again, she was very upset for the first three weeks after Lucas tried to rape her. It has been two months and Alanna and Gorge are to be married to day. The wedding is taking place here at my house since it is the only one big enough to hold all of us. Since Lucas is no longer aloud in town Mrs. Cross and her family have moved to the city with him but not the one he had fled from four years ago. As it turns out the young woman that had had his child had been raped as he had tried to do to my sisters, Mark has fallen for her.
The wedding was fun, half the town showed up, and it turns out that Mrs. Cross had been keeping them from coming to the other weddings she had the whole town afraid of her so if she did not like you the town would act like they did not like them. Now that she is gone, they can come and be friendly with us for the first time without fear of her doing something. A young man came and told me that he knew what Jane had planned for Twilight Queen and Storm Cloud if we had not caught her; she had planned to hold them hostage unless I married her. I am glade that I caught her before she could get away with them. Alanna was even more glade that not even two weeks later Maria gave birth to a little girl, she named her Rosalie.
She was born just ten months after her parents had been married. The twins were all most two now, and my 23 birthday is coming up and I can tell that I do not know what I am going to do with Storm Cloud because I do plan on saving Mr. Beast's aunt but I do not know how or when I am going to. I wish I could find a way to free her and fast. Since it has been almost 46 years since she became a beast. I do not wish for her to be a beast any longer than she has to be one.
Father has to go to the city because yet another ship has come in to the shipyard. He is taking John with him to the city it is a bit of a risk to go this late in the year. As it is all most winter, and it is not safe to make the journey in the winter. So the later in the year the more likely, you will get lost. If they get lost they will find the palace and someone will have to go and live with Mr. Beast's aunt until they find the way to free her. I do hope that they are safe and get back unharmed but I hope that they find the palace and then I will not have to have any more reason to go to the palace. Amy and the twins will be staying with me until they get back it had been four months when they entered the room. The day before a blizzard came blew through town and we had hoped that they had stayed in the city or stopped at a town not far from here and stay there for a while.
When they left, they had asked if there was anything we wanted. Amy wanted some nice plates for family dinners on special occasions. Maria and Ginny wanted some blue cloth the make in to a dress. Alanna wanted a nice hat since her old one had fallen in the fire one night. Mother wanted some warm blankets. I wanted some flower seeds mainly rose seeds. I had wanted to plant a flower garden that would be the envy of the town. As they entered I saw two horses standing in the yard, while Amy tended to them, I tended to the horses. When I got back in, I was amazed at how heavy the saddle bags where and put them right next to the door.
Father is holding a rose that is in prefect bloom when he sees me he hands it to me and says, "Little do you know what we had to agree to because of it," and with that he got up and went upstairs to his old room and went to bed. I look at John and he is holding Amy as if he had thought he would never see her again. "John what did he mean, what did you have to agree to, too get this rose." He just looks at me and says, "Can it wait until morning Josh I do not wish to think of it right now." With that, he got up and went to his and Amy's old room. "I do not like this Josh he was holding me like he was scared of something," said Amy. "Go and comfort him Amy he needs you it seemed to me that he had thought that he would never see you again. So go and make sure he knows you are safe," I tell her. Amy looks at me and I can see she is not sure what to do about Father and John both are acting as if something has gone wrong and they do not know how to fix it.
The next morning I got up, went to town, and let everyone know that they made it home last night and are at my house, so they need to come over. I could not tell them that something had made them act as if they were to die soon. When I got to Mr. Beast's store I told him what had happened and he said, "Go home Josh, I will be there in a few minutes so tell them to wait tell I get there." I did as he said and when I got home, everyone was there. Father and John were greeting everyone and telling them to wait for the story so tell them what has happened while they were gone. Maria let them know she was glad that Ginny was helping her with Rosie. Alanna announced that she was late and she might be pregnant but was not sure since they had only been married for a few months but they hope that she is pregnant so that they will have a child of their own to take care of, at this Father looked proud but somehow sad at the same time. Amy let John now that the twins had been asking, "Where is Daddy?" I had no news but that I was thinking of traveling for a bit and wanted to know if they would mind taking care of the house while I was gone.
"You may have to put off the traveling for a bit Josh. See I fear that you may not be able to travel after we tell the story of what happened," said Father. At this, Mr. Beast walked in, saw the rose, and said, "You have seen the palace then I guess." That would not have shocked me if it were not for the fact that I was starting to think that was what had happened to them.
