A/N: Okay, I think you guys are tired of all the apologies for lateness so I'll just shut up about that. As you guys know, I have exams coming up. The bloody government isn't making it any better.

JFVM: Maybe and who do you have in mind?

Jeremy Shane: Thanks.

brankel1: Aww, that's sweet, thanks XD

hewhoreaps: Thanks for pointing that out and nice guess ;)

KJ: Thanks. No idea? Do I smell sarcasm? :P

Soo here's chapter 11.

"Check it out!" Ethan whispered, searching something up on his laptop. "It says here that brainwaves are just electrical impulses that have converted into a binary language can be downloaded!" Ethan was pleased with the information and gave his friends a smug look, but they weren't paying attention. Conner just glanced at him for a second and then smirked at the sight of Kira staring dreamily at Trent, who was behind the counter in front of them.

"Hey, I read about that. It means your eyes can become the video cameras of the future," Trent added. Ethan nodded excitedly.

"Geek TV. I wonder if it'll become part of a basic cable," Conner teased, earning a glare of disdain from his blue teammate.

As usual, Cassidy's voice was ringing through the whole room, talking about something do with journalism.

"C'mon Devin, there must be something that hasn't been done to death. We need something big and something fresh," she stated.

"I got it. Check this out," Devin told her, twisting his laptop around to face her.

"Woman in Iowa raises a two-hundred-and-fifty-pound pumpkin?" Cassidy read of the screen in disgust, rolling her eyes.

"Cass, you've gotta admit, it's fresh and big," Devin remarked, grinning.

Suddenly, the doors were thrown open by two women. They stood in front of the doors, like doorstops and in walked a heavily make-up clad woman with dark hair, really high heel and a red dress.

"Nikki Valentina!" Cassidy shrieked.

"Yeah, right Cass, like the biggest TV star is gonna come..." Devin trailed off as soon as he turned around and spotted the star. "Here," he finished with a shocked expression on his face.

"Hey!" Kira exclaimed, spinning around in her seat and nudging Ethan. "Isn't that the girl from Ocean Alert?"

"The most popular television show of all time?" Ethan stated rather asked, staring at the woman like there was no tomorrow. Conner's face looked like it was gonna break. That was how hard he was beaming. "Does anyone have a brown paper bag? I'm hyperventilating!" The blue ranger struggled to breathe as he, Conner and pretty much everyone else in the cyberspace stared at Nikki Valentina.

"Wow!" Trent gasped. That was enough to make Kira jealous. She was the one saying 'wow' and 'woah' when she first saw him and now he went and did the same to some diva?

By that time, Ethan had actually grabbed a paper bag and was breathing in and out of it. He lowered the bag and gave a lovesick baboon grin.

"Welcome to Hayley's cyberspace!" Hayley greeted cheerfully, after sprinting all the way over to the star. "What can I get you?"

"I'm just dying for a wheatgrass shake with a twist of lemon," Nikki answered, bobbing her head around seductively.

"Sorry, we just ran out of wheatgrass. How about a banana berry smoothie," Hayley suggested.

"Did I ask for a smoothie?" the TV star countered arrogantly. Hayley's smile faded. "I'm certain I asked for a wheatgrass shake."

"And as I said we-"

"Alright, I'll give you 100 dollars for it," Nikki interjected, cutting the redhead off.

"I'm sorry; you can't buy what I don't have," Hayley told her.

"Listen, I don't know if you noticed this but I'm Nikki Valentina - there's nothing I can't buy," the star claimed. The cyberspace owner rolled her eyes and scowled at the younger woman.

"Never mind, I'm over this place." Nikki was about to leave when Cassidy blocked her way.

"Miss Valentina," the blonde started through a microphone. "Cassidy Cornell Reefside reporter, I'm a huge fan!"

"Of course, you are," Nikki replied conceitedly.

"Someday, I'm gonna be a big star too except I'm gonna be a news anchor but like, maybe we could work together!" Cassidy offered hopefully. "I know! I can be on ocean alert!"

Nikki chuckled in amusement. "Honey, you better get yourself a new dream; cos being me, well that's mine. And I'm not sharing." She walked around the younger girl, heading towards the door that her assistants opened for her. "Let's go." One of them handed Cassidy a signed picture of Nikki Valentina.

"Ugh! I could be you! I could totally be you and I'm gonna prove it!" the wannabe anchor declared. She looked down at the autographed photo. "Heart Nikki?!" she scoffed, chucking it on the floor.

"I have to meet her or my life will never be complete," Ethan proclaimed dramatically. Conner nodded in agreement.

"I'll introduce you at our wedding," he told him, slapping his friend on the back.

"Oh, brother!" Kira muttered, rolling her eyes at her brother-like friends.

"My shift is officially over," Trent told Kira, wiping his hands on a hand towel. "Ready to go?"

"Off to Trent's house again, Kira?" Ethan teased, as Trent put the hand towel down on the counter.

"Yes, why?" Kira replied, already knowing what was coming.

"Oh, nothing."

"Just that you go there every day!" Conner chirped cheekily.

"Oh hush, he's gonna show him some sketches that he did for the cover of my demo," she stated as a matter of fact. "Don't listen to them Trent, let's go."

"See ya!" Ethan called, turning around with Conner.

The couple only made it a few steps when Trent's phone rang. He took it out, glanced at it and then groaned.

"Let me guess, your dad?" Kira presumed. It wasn't the first time this happened and it definitely wasn't the last.

"Yeah, he needs me at home. I'm sorry Kira," Trent apologised sincerely. They gave each other lingering glances as he backed away slower than necessary. Then he turned around and walked off as Kira looked on in disappointment.

The purple ranger sadly made her way back to the boys. Ethan and Conner didn't bother asking what was wrong because they had been spying.

"Hey, it's not like you won't try again tomorrow," the blue ranger commented. Kira glared at him, trying to hide her blush.

"I know you're out there. And if my calculations are correct, you're about ready to hatch. But where?" Michael talked to himself, trying to locate the newest dino egg yet. What he didn't notice was the person standing behind him.

"Almost got him!" Hayley backed off. She couldn't do it. But if she didn't tell him, then all of them could be in trouble. She remembered what Kim said when she told her.

"Oh don't be ridiculous Hayley. It doesn't make sense. I know she's weird but no... she can't be. You know what? I think you're jealous! Don't worry, it's one-sided. Sure she has a crush on him but I think he likes someone else..."

"Guys, we have some tyrannodrones downtown. Get there now!" Michael ordered the rangers as he watched an attack on the computer screen. Hayley decided to walk away before he noticed her presence.

Michael and Kim jumped in to rescue Nikki Valentina from a shark monster.

"I hate sharks!" Michael said. "You okay?"

"Great, now how I am going to get my nails fixed without an appointment?!" Nikki shrieked, not looking twice at the pair as she walked past.

"A thank you wouldn't have killed her!" Kim complained. Michael was going to reply when the shark beast got back up on its feet.

"Doctor M, we're heading to the beach," Kira informed via morpher. Michael didn't respond and hurled over the edge of the building to avoid being hit by laser beams.

"Mike!" Kim yelled anxiously, from behind the monster.

"Dino Thunder power up!" she heard Michael yell and sighed in relief. Then she proceeded to kick to monster off the edge too.

"Take that!" she cried.

"That was close," Michael exclaimed after he moved out of the way so the monster didn't fall on him. Conner, Ethan and Kira turned the corner and saw him.

"Dad?" Conner said.

"You okay?" Kira asked just as Nikki came out of her caravan.

"Hey, it's Nicki," Conner observed, pointing at the star and approaching her. "Check it out, baby. It's all about the red." Ethan pushed him aside and stepped in front of him.

"Unless you prefer a kinder, gentler power ranger," he countered, stroking the part of his helmet that was covering his chin.

"What?!" Conner yelled in disbelief.

Unfortunately, the shark monster rose yet again. Kim leapt from the building to join her teammates while the monster picked a massive flower up.

"Watch out!" Kim and Michael warned in unison. But they were too late. The three teens got hit by the flower-laser.

Nikki Valentina hadn't noticed any of this and just stood by obliviously, inspecting the damage done to her nails. The monster charged at her and grabbed her shoulders.

"You guys okay?" Michael asked Red, Blue and Purple.

"Next time, check your hormones before you morph!" Kira quipped.

"Ironic since you're the one dreaming about Trent!" Ethan remarked.

"Let's get back to the lab," Michael ordered, breaking the childish squabble up.

"Okay!" the teens agreed.

"Uhh, guys," Kim piped up. Everyone turned to look at the yellow ranger. "The monster took Nikki..."

"You're late, son," Anton commented as he saw Trent walk past, in his peripheral vision. "You know how I value punctuality." Trent stepped into the room.

"Yeah, I know, I just kinda had plans," he explained, containing his frustration.

"I have plans too, Trent. I won't be around forever."

"Where are you going?" the teenager queried.

"Nowhere right now but if anything unforeseen should happen to me, I need to know that family business will be in good hands. Can you... understand that?" Anton asked, looking at his collection of antiques in the cabinet.

"Yeah I understand," Trent replied. He was going to leave, but he figured he should add something. "By the way, Dad, please don't interrupt me again. You've done it enough times and it's ruining my plans."

"With that girl?" Anton questioned.

"What?" Trent mumbled, slightly shocked. Sure, Kira came around almost every day but it was a big house. A mansion even. How did Anton manage to see her? They were usually in completely different parts of the building...

"Relax. I've seen you with her once or twice the house. But I hope she's just a friend." Trent couldn't help himself.

"Why?" he demanded. Anton didn't even bother to glance at his son.

"Because she doesn't exactly... scream Mercer..."

"This is not good," Conner observed as he stared at himself in the mirror, poking at his zits. Ethan was doing exactly the same.

"You guys are lucky you were morphed. It could've been a lot worse," Michael pointed out, strolling past them.

"I cannot believe this," Conner continued to whine. "How am I supposed to save Nikki now? Look at my face!"

"Mine looks like it should be delivered in thirty minutes or less," Ethan cried out like a drama queen.

"You know, most of us look past the rash and see the person inside," Kira mentioned.

"Okay, Nikki Valentina is not like most of us," Conner remarked.

"Two arms, two legs, all seem the same to me," she commented.

"Great arms and legs. Not to mention the rest of her," Ethan said. Kira grimaced at her friend's perverted nature.

"Whatever, I don't like her," Kira stated. "What a man-stealer," she muttered under her breath. Kim and Hayley heard this and exchanged surprised looks. Kira wasn't the jealous type. Which meant one thing: Trent had taken a liking to Nikki too.

"DUDE! YOUR FACE! EUGGHHHH!" Conner yelled, stumbling backwards. He and Ethan had decided to look at each other, which was a huge mistake.

"ME? LOOK AT YOURS! IT LOOKS LIKE AN UNDERCOOKED PIZZA!" Ethan retorted.

"A really disgusting one," Kira added.

"SHUT UP KIRA! AT THIS RATE TRENT'S GONNA GET NIKKI BEFORE I EVEN HAVE A CHANCE!" Conner screeched, shaking Ethan by the shoulders.

"WAIT A MINUTE! WHO SAYS TRENT WANTS NIKKI IN THE FIRST PLACE?!" Kira stood up from her seat and yelled.

"Chill out Kira. Trent may have liked you before but with Nikki around..." Ethan trailed off.

"Don't even finish that sentence," Kira threatened as she walked up to the boys.

"Right kids, I think that's enough for today," Kim told her three teammates, turning around to look at the computer screen. Hayley, who was next to her, turned to Michael.

"Looks like Mesogog shares your infatuation guys," he told his son and his friend.

"He's setting up a firewall around the invisiportals. Not even the raptor cycles could get in," Hayley said grimly. Michael shook his head. There was no way out of this one. Or so he thought...

A few minutes later, Nikki Valentina popped up on the screen. She was at the beach and was unscathed.

"I don't know how, but she's made it out. She's back at the beach," Hayley announced. This seemed to get the boys to stop complaining for a second.

"Yeah, go Nikki!" Ethan cheered. "I told you she was smart." He pointed at Kira smugly.

"Yeah, as a bag of hammers," the purple ranger fired back. The shark monster appeared on the screen on the same exact spot Nikki had landed on.

"She didn't see that one coming," Michael remarked, getting out of his chair. "Hayley, keep track of that egg."

"I will," the red head reassured him. He went to stand next to his son in their morphing positions.

"This is so not in my contract!" Nikki spat, tearing her hand out of the monster's grasp and running away.

Devin was filming Cassidy in the water when he spotted Nikki running past. Then he saw the monster hold his flower-laser up and yelled, "Watch out!" He pulled her out of the way and ended up on the floor, on top of her. "You alright?"

"You're even braver than a power ranger," Nikki claimed. "Have you ever thought of a career as an action hero?"

"Ugh... An action hero huh?"

"Yeah..."

"Hello! I just saved a life!" Cassidy shrieked at Devin, angrily approaching him. "Does anyone even care?"

"It's not easy, though. Everyone wants a piece of me. Can I get an autograph? Can I have your DNA?" Nikki imitated her fans. "It never stops."

"Yeah, I mean it must be so hard knowing that millions love you. Isn't that why you became a TV star?" Devin implored.

"No, I just wanna be rich, have lots of stuff, marry a rock star and have more stuff than houses than J. Lo," the overrated diva admitted shamelessly. Devin followed her like a love struck puppy.

"Woah, that is shallow - even for me!" Cassidy said out of extreme jealousy.

Meanwhile, Zeltrax and Michael were having their daily battle and the former ended up fleeing. The rangers lost against the 30 storey version of the shark monster and fell out of their megazord.

"Guys, you okay?" Kira inquired, helping Ethan up. Michael did the same with Conner whilst Kim got up herself.

"Surf's up!" the monster shouted, teleporting himself to the ocean. Just then, Hayley arrived with the jeep.

"Guys! I found the dino egg! Catch!" she chucked it over to the rangers and Kira caught it. The face of a new zord appeared on her morpher.

"It's hatching!" Kira exclaimed excitedly as the egg began to shake in her hands. The egg finally cracked and a new zord appeared in the purple ranger's hand. It jumped off her hand and grew.

"It's a stegozord!" Michael stated. "Great! Now, Kira, you need to use telepathy to control it so the others can use it as a surfboard."

Finally, the rangers were able to save the day with the help of Kira, the stegozord and, of course, the Thundersaurus Megazord.

"I'm glad to see you studying. I hope it's relevant to the task at hand," Anton said, upon seeing son at his own desk, doing some work that involved numbers.

"Yeah, I'm just working on some figures," Trent replied.

"Good, good. You see all you have to do is put your mind to it and you can do anything." He clapped his son on the shoulders.

"Yeah, yeah," Trent agreed, smiling at his father until he was out of sight. Then he moved his paper aside to reveal his sketchbook. He grinned as he got back to drawing a picture for Kira.

"Let me do the talking," Conner told Ethan as they approached Nikki Valentina like the two giddy teenagers they were.

"Yeah right," Ethan muttered sarcastically but cheerfully.

"If I have to talk to one more lovesick, annoying fan I am going to barf in my coffee cup," Nikki complained, before strutting off haughtily. Conner and Ethan heard this and backed away.

Kira popped up in front of her brothers, "So, you guys put the moves on Nikki?"

"No, it turns out-" Ethan started.

"She's whack!" Conner finished.

"So, I say you guys have learnt a valuable lesson," Kira decreed.

"What, stick to cheerleaders?" the red ranger joked. "Kidding."

"You can't judge a book by its cover," Ethan said. "Especially one like Nikki's." Kira stared at the boys in disbelief as they gazed dreamily at the overrated diva.

Cassidy glared in jealousy as Nikki leant in to give Devin mouth-to-mouth for the rescue scene.

"Ugh! I don't like her!" she snapped. A crew member came up to her.

"You're disturbing the actors; you'll have to leave," he stated.

"You can't do that to me! I'm with the press and I have a pass!" Cassidy protested. The guy grabbed her wrist and dragged her away. The trio of rangers laughed as they passed her. "They know me! Hello! Tell him!"

"So where's Trent?"

"Shut up."

A/N: Enjoy! And review!
