Chapter 10
Interesting Feeling
Robert's POV
Shapiro residence. Saturday, the 22nd.
Today is a big day for me. Wanna know why? Well, I'll tell ya. Today, Victoria and me are getting together to hang out for the first time ever. I must say, I'm a little nervous. And, by 'little', I of course mean really.
We had made plans earlier this week. Victoria and I went to her place together after school on Thursday. I met her family. I met her sister, Trina on the bus ride home of course. She's very nice. At their home, I met their mother, Holly, who's very sweet. Holly says she's a kindergarten teacher, but she's staying home for her daughters. She's studying for a degree in law, whatever that means. Their daddy, David, didn't come home until the evening. He's scares me. But he's nice. Kinda. He's a detective, I don't know what that means, so they told me he's a cop. So, that makes him scarier. I had dinner there when David finally arrived home from work. I told them all a little about me.
After dinner, we all, yes all of us, went to my house to drop me off and to meet my parents. My parents and the Vega's got along almost instantly. I smile throughout all this as they all talked.
After a few minutes, the Vegas left, I told my parents about my day with them. I had a great time over there. We played some games and watched a couple of Winnie the Pooh movies.
Now, I'm sitting in the back of daddy's car, driving to the Vega's house. We're going to pick up Victoria and Trina to see The Tigger Movie today. (A/n: Damn, I'm old.)
We arrive in a few minutes and we walk up to the front door. I ring the doorbell and I could swear I heard a squeak from the other side.
The door opens and I'm greeted by a smiling Victoria.
"Hi, everyone! Come right on in!" She says. She steps aside and we walk in. I wave at her and she blushes, causing me to blush as well. We are greeted by Trina and Holly too.
"How are you doing?" I ask her as she stops hiding her red face from behind her hands.
"Good; you excited to see the Tigger Movie?" she asks, smiling. I nod my head quickly and she squeals and hugs me. She really likes to hug people.
"You kids ready?" daddy asks. Trina, Victoria, and me jump up in down in answer. He chuckles in response.
"You girls have fun and don't cause trouble." Holly says to her children.
"You're no fun." Victoria groans.
"I am fun!" Holly replies, faking hurt. We all chuckle at that.
"Well, let's get going kids; don't want to be late." Mommy says.
"Bye girls." Holly says as she gives Victoria and Trina hugs. They hug her back together and we all leave the house.
Trina, Victoria, and I take the back seats, with me stuck between them. Daddy joked that I was 'girl-trapped'. Everyone but me laughed. Trina then starts to torture me with tickling every now and then and occasionally pokes me. Thanks, dad.
We arrive at the theater 15 minutes before it starts. It's fairly quiet in the parking lot. Daddy finds a spot and parks and I practically jump out after Victoria gets out so that I can get away from Trina. She pokes hard. We all walk up to the front of the theater, where you go buy the tickets. After that, we go inside to get our snacks. My parents get soda and popcorn for themselves. Trina, Victoria, and me get lemonade and nachos. Mmm!
We get to the large room where the movie is going to be shown in. Daddy said it's a- uh, auditor-something. I can't pronounce it. Something to do with audio. I don't know what that is either. But that's beside the point. The point is, is that the room is huge and is already full of people. We manage to find seating in the middle of the room. It's hard to see, since there's not much light. We settle in in time for the lights to slowly turn off and for the previews of upcoming movies to start.
A couple of hours later, the movie ends and we all leave the room. We head out of the theater when I turn to Victoria.
"What did you think of the movie?" I ask her. She smiled and sighed a little.
"I loved it!" She squealed and jumped on me for a hug. I hug her back and chuckle. I smile at her and she smiles back. She's so cute. I think. I notice mommy looking at me, with a smile. I smile back at her.
"I liked it a lot." Trina added. Victoria and I nodded in agreement.
"Glad you kids liked it." Daddy says as we get to the car. We get into the car and head for home with the Vegas to play some games. I wonder how many of them will be Winnie the Pooh related.
To my surprise, when we get there, we don't start playing a Winnie the Pooh game. Instead we take out Apples to Apples and play the entire game. Victoria also asked me to call her Vicky now. I like Vicky a lot better. Not much of a mouthful.
After we finish Apples to Apples, mommy and daddy make lunch for all of us. While they do that, Trina, Vicky, and me watch some TV.
"Lunch is served." Mommy calls to us from the kitchen.
"Ooh! I wonder what they made us." Trina says, jumping up from her seat on the sofa.
"No clue, but I bet it'll be yummy." Vicky replies. I nod at that as we skip to the kitchen.
We go into the kitchen and the table is set. There are plates in front of the seats. There are plates that have snacks in them. One plate has a lot of sandwiches in them. They look like peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. There were also some chips and crackers.
Trina, Vicky, and I sit down as my parents bring us drinks. We all have orange juice and we start eating a big lunch. We don't talk much, but we do talk about the movie we saw a couple of hours ago.
After a filling lunch, we all go to the living room again to watch so more TV. We do this for several hours until it is starting to get dark. My parents start to make dinner. Trina wanted to help and they allowed her to. Trina wants to learn how to cook. This leaves Vicky and me alone. We're sitting next to each other. I think she moves a little closer to me.
"Are you having fun?" I ask her.
"Yeah." She replies.
"Cool." I reply and I smile at her and she smiles back. I go back to watching TV when I feel something on my shoulder. I turn a little and see Vicky is leaning her head on my shoulder. "What are you doing?" I ask her.
"Just relaxing." She replies.
"But why are you lying your head on my shoulder?" I ask her confused.
"I don't know, but your shoulder is nice and warm, so don't move." She replies.
"Thanks?" I say, even more confused.
"Relax, I'm not doing anything wrong." She says.
"I didn't say that; I just don't know why exactly you want to put your head on my shoulder." I reply.
"I thought it was kinda obvious." She says. I look down on her.
"What?" I ask. She lifts her head and I feel weird without the weight on my shoulder for some reason.
"I like you, Robert." She replies. Oh. Now that I think about it, it is kinda obvious. I feel dumb now.
"Well, I like you too, Vicky." I reply, smiling. She smiles back and hugs me for like the fifth time today. She lets go of me and looks in my eyes with a weird look. "What?" I ask her. Her look's starting to freak me out. In response, she leans in and I feel her lips on mine. My eyes widen as her lips move against mine. She's kissing me! I don't move, well, actually, I can't move! She stops after a while and leans back and looks at me. I just blink at her, shocked.
"I'm sorry; I don't know what came over me." She says in a low voice. I shake my head quickly and blink several times. I spaced out from shock.
"It's cool; I don't know what to say." I reply.
"I don't know what to say either; I just got weird urge in me and the next thing I know is that I'm kissing you." She says.
"Sorry if I didn't kiss back; you kinda surprised me there." I reply. She nods.
"Please don't say anything. We could get into trouble." She says.
"I won't say anything." I say. She smiles.
"Now kiss me." She orders. I raise my shoulders a little and look to the kitchen. I can still hear my parents and Trina talking in there. I look back at Vicky and she smiles at me and takes my shoulders in her hands. I lean in as she does and our lips connect again.
It's an interesting feeling. Kinda hard to describe, but I like it a lot. Her lips and warm and soft. The kiss lasts only for a few seconds, but I enjoy every second of it. Vicky seems to too as she keeps going on. We break apart after a while and we smile at each other.
"Kids, dinner's ready!" mommy's voice comes from the kitchen. Vicky and I get up and walk together to the kitchen for dinner. Lasagna.
After dinner, we all drive Vicky and Trina home. Vicky is lying her head on my shoulder again. We're holding hands as well. When we get there, we let go of our hands and she raises her head. We all get out and go to the front door and they say goodbye. Vicky hugs me yet again today.
"I'll miss you." She whispers in my ear.
"I will too." I reply as she lets go and goes inside. I go back to the car with my parents and we drive home. As we go back, I can't help but feel weird without Vicky. I don't really know why. But I try to think of something nice instead.
Is it safe for me to call her my girlfriend now? Is that how it all works?
Victoria's POV
Vega residence. Saturday, the 22nd.
I'm pacing the living room, nervously. Robert is coming today and I don't know why I'm freaking out. What I do know, is that my pacing is starting to upset everyone.
"Vicky, knock it off!" Trina says from the couch. I stop and give her an annoyed look.
"No, I will not knock it off." I reply and I go back to pacing.
"Honey, it is getting annoying." Mommy says from the kitchen table.
"Fine; I'll stop." I grumble and sit down on the sofa next to Trina. A few minutes ago, Robert's daddy called, saying they were on the way now. They are going to pick up Trina and me to see the new Tigger Movie today. I'm excited, but I'm nervous. I think it's because Robert's coming over again. The other day, when he came home with me to meet my family and for dinner, I was nervous that they wouldn't like him and that dinner would be a nightmare. The family loved him. I think daddy's a little upset about him. I guess it's because it's Robert, who's a boy. Don't really understand the bid to do, but ok. Hope daddy doesn't do anything bad. I like Robert a lot. I asked daddy not to hurt him and he merely raised his shoulders in response. Not what I wanted, but I think that means he'll try not to. I hope.
Since I'm talking about Robert, I think I get why I'm nervous. I've been nervous around Robert since I told him I had a crush on him. I became a little more nervous after he was mean to me that day. It's lightened up again now that I know him. But, I think the reason why I'm nervous around him is because I like him. I think he's kinda cute.
There's a knock on the door and I squeak a little. I jump up and run to the door. I open it to Robert and his parents, Carol and John.
"Hi, everyone! Come right on in!" I greet, smiling brightly. They walk in after I step aside. Robert waves at me and I blush. He blushes too. Aww, he' so cute when he blushes. I think as I try to cover my red face.
"How are you doing?" he asks me when I lower my hands.
"Good; you excited to see the Tigger Movie?" I ask him, smiling. He nods his head quickly and I squeal and hug him.
"You kids ready?" John asks. Trina, Robert, and me jump up in down in answer. He chuckles in response.
"You girls have fun and don't cause trouble." I hear mommy say. Ohhh.
"You're no fun." I groan.
"I am fun!" Mommy replies, faking hurt. We all chuckle at that.
"Well, let's get going kids; don't want to be late." Carol says.
"Bye girls." Mommy says as she gives Trina and me hugs. We hug her back together and we all leave the house.
Trina, Robert, and I take the back seats, with him stuck between us. His daddy joked that he was 'girl-trapped'. Everyone laughed, except Robert. Trina in response starts to tickle him and poke him in the sides to torture him.
We get to the theaters with several minutes before the movie starts. We get tickets and go inside to get food to eat. Robert, Trina, and I get lemonade and nachos. Carol and John get soda and popcorn for themselves.

"I liked it a lot." Trina added. Robert and I nodded in agreement.
"Glad you kids liked it." John says as we get to the car. We get into the car and head for Robert's family's house to play some games. I have a feeling they'll be related to Winnie the Pooh.
To my surprise, when we get there, we don't start playing a Winnie the Pooh game. Instead we take out Apples to Apples and play the entire game. I asked Robert to call me Vicky now. I wonder if he'll let me call him Rob or something. I'll have to ask him.
After we finish Apples to Apples, Carol and John decide to make lunch for all of us. While they do that, Trina, Robert, and me watch some TV.
"Lunch is served." Carol calls to us from the kitchen.
"Ooh! I wonder what they made us." Trina says, jumping up from her seat on the sofa.
"No clue, but I bet it'll be yummy." I reply. Rob nods at that as we skip to the kitchen.
We go into the kitchen and the table is set. There are plates in front of the seats. There are plates that have snacks in them. One plate has a lot of sandwiches in them. They look like peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. There were also some chips and crackers. Yummy!

After a filling lunch, we all go to the living room again to watch so more TV so we can digest. We do this for several hours until it is starting to get dark. Rob's parents start to make dinner. Trina wanted to help and they allowed her to. Trina's always been interested in cooking. I think she may want to be a chef when she grows up. This leaves Rob and me alone. We're sitting next to each other. I move a little closer to him and he doesn't seem to notice. I barely moved.
"Are you having fun?" He asks me.
"Yeah." I reply.
"Cool." He replies and smiles at me and I return his smile. We go back to watching TV. For some reason, I decided to put my head on his shoulder. It's nice and warm, just like mommy's is. "What are you doing?" Rob asks me.
"Just relaxing." I answer. Duh.
"But why are you lying your head on my shoulder?" he asks, now confused.
"I don't know, but your shoulder is nice and warm, so don't move." I tell him.
"Thanks?" he says, even more confused.
"Relax, I'm not doing anything wrong." I state.
"I didn't say that; I just don't know why exactly you want to put your head on my shoulder." He replies. It's kinda obvious, Rob.
"I thought it was kinda obvious." I say and he moves a little to look at me.
"What?" He asks. I lift my head a little bit so that I can talk to him. Really, Rob? You can't tell that I like you? That's why I'm leaning on you.
"I like you, Robert." I tell him and he gets this look on his face, as if he were told he was dumb.
"Well, I like you too, Vicky." he replies, smiling. I smile back and hug him again. I don't know why I like to hug people, I just do. I let him go and look into his brown eyes. "What?" He asks. He seems a little nervous and I don't know why. Am I doing something to freak him out? I have no idea why I want to do this. But I want to. There's this weird urge in me to lean in. So, I lean in and press my lips against his. I feel him stiffen up a little as I move my lips against his. He doesn't move at all. I pull back and see his shocked face. Uh oh.
"I'm sorry; I don't know what came over me." I say in a low voice. Rob shakes his head quickly and blinks several times. I think he spaced out from shock.
"It's cool; I don't know what to say." He replies.
"I don't know what to say either; I just got weird urge in me and the next thing I know is that I'm kissing you." I say, truthfully.
"Sorry if I didn't kiss back; you kinda surprised me there." He answers. I nod to show him I understand. I kinda surprised myself as well.
"Please don't say anything. We could get into trouble." I tell him. I don't want to get us in trouble and have our friendship broken because of it. I really like him.
"I won't say anything." He says. I smile.
"Now kiss me." I order him. He raises his shoulders a little bit and looks to the kitchen. I listen too, and I can still hear Trina and Carol and John talking in there. I look back at Rob and I smile at him and take his shoulders in my hands. I lean in as he does and our lips connect again.
Kinda hard to describe the feeling. It's interesting and I like it a lot. He has warm and soft lips for a boy and he tries his best to move his lips with mine. The kiss lasts only for a few seconds, but I enjoy every second of it. I think he enjoyed it too. I hope he did. We break apart after a while and we smile at each other.
"Kids, dinner's ready!" Carol's voice comes from the kitchen. Rob and I get up and walk together to the kitchen for dinner. Lasagna. I also call it the most filling meal ever. Cause it is.
After dinner, we're all in the car. Rob's parents are driving Trina and me home. I'm once again lying my head on his warm shoulder again. We're holding hands as well. When we get there, we let go of our hands and I raise my head. We all get out and go to the front door and they say goodbye. I hug Rob one last time for tonight.
"I'll miss you." I whisper in his ear. Whoa, where did that come from? Why would I say something like that? I'll see him again Monday. Odd.
"I will too." He replies as I let him go and go inside the house. I go to the window and watch him and his parents get inside their car and leave. As they leave, I have this strange feeling inside me. It's like, I'm not…complete without him. I don't know why, but I want to be with him and hold him. I try to think of something nice to push away the bad thoughts and I think of something.
I think it's safe to say he's my boyfriend now. I guess. I don't know.
Chapter 10. Comment or review plz. Seriously, how have I not gotten a single review on this story? Did the previous chapter suck that bad? Well, the next 2 chapters will be intriguing. I can't believe Sam & Cat was cancelled. It had great potential. I know you'll are gonna look up Tigger Movie. It came out Feb 11th that year, but it was the first family movie to be released.
