Macintosh woke up with the sunlight gleaming over his face. He got up a little, putting himself in a mid-sitting, mid-lying position. Two doctors came in with Rainbow Dash in their arms and proceeded to put her in the bed. Macintosh asked "What's going on doc?" with a little confusion. The doctor replied "Your friend here keeps trying to leave the facility. This is the third time now". The doctor had then put her in a straight jacket, to try and keep her from leaving again. Macintosh nodded his head from side to side, letting out a chuckle, and exclaimed "That's Rainbow Dash for ya". "Feeling better Big Macintosh?" asked the other doctor. "Much better" Macintosh replied. "Good, good" the doctor muttered taking note of his heart rate and blood pressure on to his clipboard. "Breakfast is at nine whenever you get hungry, and you'll have to bring her something so she doesn't try to leave again" the doctor informed Macintosh, who replied "Thanks doc". Macintosh looked at Rainbow Dash and chuckled. He took out a sheet of paper from his pants pocket that was placed in the chair next to him. He unfolded it and began to read it. Macintosh sighed. He had no idea that these events would take place and now he has to live through another problem. He folded the paper back up and slipped it into the pants pocket. Macintosh got up and sat in the wheelchair in between the two beds. There was another one for Rainbow Dash, though he didn't know why she didn't use that to try and escape. He wheeled himself with his left arm. The other one was in a sling, and he was smart not to try to make his sprained leg even worse. Down the hallway he spotted the cafeteria. Macintosh grabbed enough food for both himself and Rainbow and wheeled back to the room. He began to eat his apple, and thought about what he could do to make things better. And there wasn't much he could do. After eating nearly his entire breakfast. Rainbow began to wake up. Rainbow tried to wipe her eyes, but she found herself in a straight jacket. She looked over towards Macintosh. "Good Mornin' sleepyhead" Macintosh said. Rainbow Dash said "Thanks for helping me out, but I don't really want to talk to you". Macintosh wheeled himself over to the other side of Rainbow Dash's bed. He spooned her some oatmeal and said "Doctor said you should really eat somethin'." trying to get her to eat. Rainbow Dash told Macintosh "I ain't hungry" and right after she said that her stomach growled. Macintosh tried not to chuckle and said "They gave you 3 dosages of them drugs, your body isn't in shape and you really should eat". Rainbow Dash gave in and bit into the oatmeal Macintosh spooned for her. When she was done eating she said to Macintosh "Why did you guys come after me?". Macintosh replied "Applejack couldn't live withoutcha". Rainbow Dash muttered "Yeah she could" and a tear fell from her left eye. Macintosh said "No she couldn't. You weren't even gone one day and she is bawling her eyes out, having nightmares in trees, starving herself, and regretting almost everything she does". Rainbow Dash looked over towards Macintosh and asked "Really?". Macintosh replied "Really. And that is not her baby". Rainbow Dash said "What?" And Macintosh told Rainbow everything that happened the night they found Autumn and went on to their journey to find Rainbow Dash. Rainbow Dash told Macintosh "I'm sorry Macintosh. I didn't mean for any of this to happen." and the Applejack walked in. "Rainbow! Oh I'm glad you're alright!" and walked up to her to hug her. "Uh, why the straight jacket?" she said noticing it. Macintosh answered "She wanted to get out as soon as possible." and looked over to Rainbow. Rainbow told Applejack "I'm sorry for causing you so much stress Applejack". Applejack responded "It's alright sugarcube" and she hugged her again. Rainbow asked "So, who's the little guy" noticing Applebloom holding Autumn and wanted to see Autumn. Applebloom handed over Autumn to Rainbow Dash. Rainbow Dash grinned and held Autumn by her sides. Autumn giggled and reached for Rainbow's mane. Rainbow Dash let her mess with with her mane and said to Applejack "She's adorable. What's her name?" and Applejack replied "Autumn". Rainbow Dash looked back over to Autumn, messing with her hair, and smiled. She liked the name. The doctors said that it would take 2 days before Rainbow Dash was able to start healing and start to walk normally again. Rainbow Dash was just fine with that, as long as her friends came by often. For the rest of the day, Rainbow Dash continued her book series "Daring-Do", reading chapter after chapter of tragic and suspenseful events and them turning around with a trick up Do's sleeve. Finishing up another chapter, Rainbow Dash's reading was interrupted when Macintosh came through her door. "How's it goin' Rainbow?" he asked her. "Well, I'm managing." Rainbow replied. Macintosh walked to the chair set next to Rainbow's hospital bed. Macintosh pulled out some food from a large brown paper bag he had been carrying and told her "Here, I got ya a little somethin'. Doctor says it's fine" handing her a sandwich. Rainbow Dash accepted the sandwich and took a bite. "Thanks Mac" she thanked him for his thoughtfulness. Macintosh took in a big inhale and let it out. "I have tah ask ya somethin, a favor". Rainbow Dash replied "Anything Mac. What's up?". Macintosh twiddled with his hands and finally managed to say "It's about the farm".
