Chapter 11
Sakura jolted and Sasuke froze mid-lock. Taking advantage of his surprise, she hurriedly pulled their lips away and blushed crimson, looking at the person who called them out. "Naruto!?" Then she smiled before running and hugging the lost boy. "You're okay!" she exclaimed, momentarily forgetting her very irritated 'hunny'.
Naruto chuckled and hugged back. "Yeah... you know I heal ridiculously fast!" he smiled, also forgetting. Then, feeling a cold chill, he looked up. "You bastard!" Naruto growled, placing Sakura behind him. His head quirked to the side. "The fuck happened to you?"
Sasuke raised a brow at this and shook his head. "Too much to explain to an idiot." He smirked. "Now get away from my mate you brat. Before I send you back to the infirmary." A glare twisted his expression.
"You're mate?" Naruto gaped. Who says that? And... The fuck happened while he was out!? Sakura blinked. There was something almost comical about a twenty-seven year old vampire prince calling her his 'mate' in the 21st century. But she knew this was no time for laughing. If she didn't diffuse the situation fast, Sasuke was going to make Naruto his appetiser.
Sliding out from behind the blond, Sakura walked calmly -as possible- back to Sasuke. "Yeah, I wanted to tell you before you got into that fight." Sakura smiled tightly. "Sasuke and I are dating." Her smile was so fake Sasuke wasn't even looking at her and could tell. Naruto narrowed his eyes. "You're dating the asshole who sent me to hospital?" The betrayed tinge in his voice made Sakura swallow thickly.
"...Listen Naruto, things are a little complicated right now and... I just, I'll explain another time-"
Like hell she will.
"-But for now just please keep calm." She pleaded. All the while Sasuke was a tad suspicious of the male. Not because he may take away his mate, judging by the way she was acting with him, the boy was clearly friend-zoned. It was more to do with the fact that Naruto remembered him as his former self. Humans shouldn't be able to remember him at all.
"Fine. But why the fuck is he taller than before... and what's with the after shave?" Naruto raised a brow. That was just so weird.
"...I don't know what you're talking about..." Sakura's smile became even tighter as she prayed to every God she knew to make Naruto stop talking.
"I swear he was shorter and like... more youngish-" Sasuke's brow twitched.
Is that little shit calling me old?
Of course, fair enough for centuries plus old vampire, but he didn't know that.
Sakura was now frozen and watching through her peripherals as people gathered around them. Including her friends.
"Sakura, who's the hunk?" Ino called out, walking towards her with Temari, Tenten and Hinata in tow. The first three were smirking whilst the last was smiling shyly at her and glancing at the other blonde in her life every now and then.
"Uh, he's my... boyfriend. I wanted you guys to meet him." Sakura chuckled nervously but the girls didn't notice. Sasuke squeezed her hand tightly. But it wasn't comforting.
"Wow Sak, I didn't know you went for the older guys." Temari raised a brow, eyeing Sasuke suspiciously. She knew exactly who he was.
"I didn't know the older guys went for her. Or guys in general." A new voice called out. Sasuke raised a brow and Sakura twitched. God she hated that chick.
"Yeah well clearly they don't go for you." Sakura snapped at Karin, crossing her arms. The red head just rolled her eyes.
"S'cuse bitch, I have a boyfriend." Karin bit out, she then looked at Sasuke. "But that can be changed." she winked, taking off her glasses flirtatiously.
Sakura gagged. "Like hell it will." she muttered.
"Aw, thanks for sticking up for me Sak." A hand ruffled her hair from behind and stepped forward.
"Yeah well it's your fault for having horrible taste." Sakura pouted, tsking.
Suigetsu smirked at the pinkette before turning to his girlfriend. "Karin stop being such a slutty bitch." a silver haired male rolled his eyes.
He's a shapeshifter...
Yeah, but that fucked up kind, were they change parts of their body instead of their form.
Hmm, why is he so close to Sakura.
"The fuck did you call me you asshole!?" she screeched at him.
Suigetsu sighed. "Get over yourself, we have class soon." he hoisted her bag over his shoulder along with his own.
The male eyed Sasuke wearily. All the members of the hidden knew who he was, but he didn't know what he was doing here. Or what he was doing with his best girl friend. Suigetsu switched his gaze to Sakura and took in the tenseness of her form. 'I'll have a chat with princy there later. For now I gotta control Karin.'
Suigetsu didn't reach Sasuke's height, but was a little taller than Naruto. He smirked at the dark haired male. "Sorry for my whore of a girlfriend." Said girlfriend kicked him. Suigestu winced in pain. "She get's like this... all the time." he nodded, fake thinking on it.
Karin let out an angry huff and slapped him across the face. Suigetsu grabbed the hand and yanked her forward, sticking his tongue down her throat. Karin moaned softly as he wrapped an arm around her waist. Drawing back Suigetsu gave a toothy smile, showing his insanely sharp teeth.
"See ya guys. Tell me if yr boyfriend's a bitch to you kay Sak?"
Sakura giggled softly and smiled at him, some of the tension leaving her shoulders. "Got it Sui, thanks. And keep her on a leash would you?" she glared at Karin.
"Hah, says the bitch." Karin sneered at her. Sakura glowered and Suigetsu chuckled.
"Ladies, cool it, cat fight later, right now just chill. C'mon babe." Suigestu shot a smiled at the group and dragged his girl with him.
"Oh this is not over." Karin called over her shoulder. "Bye bye~!" she waved at Sasuke, shooting a smile his way. Suigestu groaned in embarrassment while Sasuke stayed stoic.
"Why does everybody like this asshole!?" Naruto gaped, throwing his hands up in disbelief.
"Because he's hot." Ino replied with a shrug.
Naruto blinked for a few seconds before groaning and slapping a hand on his face. Sasuke smirked at this, thoroughly amused. Sakura smiled softly and looked at Sasuke through her peripherals. 'He is kinda good looking.' she thought to herself. Sasuke then shot his eyes to her, smirk slightly wider.
"Aa." he muttered, leaning down for a kiss. Sakura blushed prettily as she realised that he read her thoughts. She met his kiss obediently, tilting her head. Sasuke's onyx orbs peered at her through hooded lids taking in her blissful expression. He kissed her deeper still, bringing her body closer to his as she got lost in his taste. Her smaller fingers fisted his shirt unconsciously, neck craning up and feet going to tippy-toes.
"Don't make me attack you again bastard!" Naruto yelled, causing Sasuke to scowl against Sakura's lips and Sakura to snap out of her trance. She tensed, mentally slapping herself. The guy was an evil rapist nothing else.
If this bitch pisses me off one more time, I will kill him.
Agreed.
Sakura pushed against Sasuke's chest and he drew away, turning towards the idiot who interrupted his sexy time... thrice.
"I can kiss her whenever I want to dipshit." Sasuke crossed his arms. Then the bell went.
"Yeh well not right now." Then, without warning, Naruto grabbed hold of Sakura and pulled her off to their next class. Sasuke blinked as a surprised Sakura was dragged off quite comically.
"Chill out your highness." Temari muttered next to him. Her brother being a demon, she knew about the world as well. "Your mate is safe and won't be touched." she assured.
"I will kill him if necessary." was all Sasuke said before turning on his heel and leaving. Temari frowned and nodded gravely.
'Watch out Naruto, he's not someone you wanna mess with.'
Wow it has been a while. Sorry guys, I was away for a little while over-seas and didn't really get to update it sooner. Buuuut, hopefully I'll be faster next time yeah? Either way, I hope you enjoyed. Hehe, I wonder what Sasuke is going to do now ;p
