Author's Note: Hey guys. It's me again. You might be wondering why I'm updating now. I want to upload this chapter so that I can go on to what will happen to both of them after the incident. The main purpose of this chapter is to introduce Inuyasha since I'm going to use him in the future chapters (I guess). Hope you enjoy it.
The morning light flooded the room where Mai and Kagome sleep. Opening her eyes Mai sat up and looks around. Looking at the unfamiliar room reminds her of what happened last night. How will this morning turn out she wonder. Turning her attention to her sleeping friend she walks towards her bed to wake her up.
"Wake up Kagome," she shakes her slowly. "It's morning."
Slowly opening her eyes to see her friend she sat up and rub the sleepiness away from her eyes.
"Morning Mai," Kagome said in a yawn. "Is breakfast ready?"
"That's the first think in this morning?" she asks in disbelief. It seems like her friend had forgotten what happened last night. As if she read her friends thought, Kagome patted her friends shoulder.
"If you are still worried about Rin she'll be fine," Kagome said with a smile. "She's tougher than you think."
"I know but I can't help but worry," Mai said in a low voice.
"Come on, cheer up," Kagome encourage. "If ever she needs us we will be there for her but she needs time to think right now."
Nodding to her friend Mai smiles, Kagome smiles in return.
"Now, we need to grab some food," Kagome said cheerfully.
They prepare themselves for breakfast when a knock on the door interjected. Answering the door a maid came in.
"You're breakfast will be serve," she said bowing.
"Okay," Kagome answers a bit unsure. After hearing the answer the made left the room. "It feels like I'm staying in a mansion."
"We are in mansion Kagome," Mai almost roll her eyes. "A mansion that belongs to Rin's husband."
"Right," Kagome just nod her head. "Come on let's go eat."
Both of them went down stairs to eat. Seeing that no one was down stairs only to see the maid that called them.
"Are we the only one that will have breakfast?" Mai ask the maid.
"No," she answers with a small bow. "Sesshomaru-sama's younger brother, Inuyasha-sama will join you to breakfast."
"Sesshomaru's younger brother?" Kagome repeated softly. "I wonder how he will look like."
"Maybe he's a demon," Mai answers softly. "Considering that he is Sesshomaru's brother."
"Maybe he is ignorant and so full of himself type of guy," Kagome said with a grim face, remember the demon she encounters last night. If she remembers correctly that demon kind a look like Sesshomaru but that guy is also a dog demon so maybe they are suppose to look alike.
"So this is Sesshomaru's guest," a voice made them turn around toward the voice. "Aren't they human?"
"You!?" Kagome almost shouted. "What are you doing here?"
"Ahh.. The lazy servant last night," he noted. "What do you what I'm doing here? To have my breakfast of course."
"Breakfast?" Mai repeated. "Don't tell me you are?"
"Good morning Inuyasha-sama," the maid greeted as well as answering the question of the two.
"You are his brother?!" Kagome ask in shock. "You are not like him."
"That's rude," Inuyasha said, irritated. "Why do I need to be like that self-suffocated bastard?"
"A good way to address your older brother," Mai said in whisper as sweat drops on her face.
"What's the noise about?" all three of them look at the direction of the voice.
"Sesshomaru," both Kagome and Mai said in unison while Inuyasha only gave him a side way glance. Noticing he is carrying a tray of food, Mai decided to ask a question. "Are you giving to Rin?"
Sesshomaru only remain silent leaving the question hung in air. Inuyasha only grin at his brother's silent.
"Since when did you care for humans Sesshomaru?" he said with insult.
"Shut up," Sesshomaru said coldly. Walking pass the three he headed towards the stairs.
"Keh, cold as ever," Inuyasha said in annoyance. "I really feel sorry for your friend being chained to a cold hearted being that ever lived."
"I don't think he is that cold hearted," Mai said softly. "I think he cares about others in his own way."
"I he doesn't he would not do such thing to her," Kagome added.
Inuyasha only look the both of them and turn to look at his retreating brother. Maybe this will change something, something.

Rin snuggles closer to the softest thing she ever touch. It feels so soft and smooth under her finger tips that she can't help but bury her face in it. Inhaling its scent it calms her and it smells like him. Her eyes snap opens at the realization. Looking around she notice she's in some else rooms, looking down she notice she have been snuggling on a very fluffy fur. Stroking it again she giggles at its softness and pulling it closer to her. As if it had a life it wraps itself around her and tickles her cheeks and neck.
"It's so fluffy," she said in glee, rubbing her cheeks on it. Like it some kind of animal likes being cuddled, it wrap itself on her waist. "That tickles."
She is enjoying herself too much that she did not notice the door opens revealing a very flustered demon.
"Rin," his voice sounds firm to catch her attention. But to his dismay she is too busy rubbing and snuggling his fur. If she keeps doing that his demon self will loss control. "Rin."
This time she turns her head towards him. She stops for a moment and frown at him. The fur in her hand loosens itself from her and lay still on the bed. Feeling better that he can breathe better again he put down the tray full of food on the side table.
"You need to eat," he said plainly. She only nods and took a fruit from the tray. He only sighs at his silent. "If you are done you can see your friends down stairs."
"Okay," she said softly. She did not know he allowed her friends to stay through the night.
He turns to leave her to give her peace as she eats. Now that he is gone she turn to look at the fur but it was now gone.
"Where is it?" she asks herself. She very much likes the softness of that fur and she likes to cuddle with it as she eats her food. "How did it disappear?"
