A/N- This started out as a fic that I wrote for Guiding Light characters and I could not find the inspiration to finish it. I changed the characters and some of the plot and was finally able to keep going with this.

Please review and let me know your thoughts on this! Oh, and I own nothing. This is all for fun.

I'm sorry for the delay. I've had this written for a while, I just wasn't sure I was completely happy with the chapter. Thank you SO much for all of your wonderful feedback and continuing to read and review! *Re-uploaded with a few mistakes fixed*

Callie had worked feverishly, long into the night, stopping only when exhaustion took over and she collapsed onto the sofa and her body took the few hours of sleep she desperately needed in order to move on. Arizona had given up waiting around for Callie to give her something to do, and had helped herself to Callie's bed, sleeping on top of the covers with a throw blanket covering her. She instinctively knew that to crawl between Callie's sheets would be a terrible mistake. They would smell of her delicious, infuriating scent, and would wear the imprint of Callie's delicious body, both of which would serve to torture her conflicted mind all night.

She woke earlier than Callie, went into the bathroom and splashed cold water on her face. She hadn't brought anything with her—no clothing or toiletries—so she spied within the bathroom cabinets and found a brand new toothbrush, still in its package, and commandeered it, along with some of her toothpaste. Feeling somewhat more human, Arizona went into the kitchen and brewed a pot of strong coffee. While it brewed, she found fresh fruit in the refrigerator—blueberries, raspberries and strawberries—which she washed and prepared. Taking two bowls from the second shelf of the cabinet, she filled them halfway with vanilla yogurt, added the fruit, than scanned the cabinets for granola. She put the bowls and two cups of steaming coffee onto a tray and carried it into Callie's workspace.

Her breath caught in her throat as she saw Callie sprawled out on the couch. She lay there on her back, legs spread open, one leg bent and pushed up against the back of the couch, and the other lay slightly cocked against the seat cushions. One hand was behind her head, and the other was placed over her stomach, flat and toned. Her face looked peaceful in repose.

Arizona stood there for more than a few moments, looking at the beautiful, dangerous sight in front of her. Just remember what she's like when she's conscious, Arizona, she admonished herself.

Walking over to the table near the couch, Arizona slammed it down hard, the noise startling Callie so much that she sat up bolt upright and swung her head around looking for the source of the loud noise that had pulled her from her sleep.

"Come on, oh mighty designer of the tacky Christmas sweater line. This shit isn't going to sew itself," Arizona said.

"Well, good morning to you too, sunshine," Callie replied sarcastically. "What's this? You decided to really help and make me something to eat?"

"I was making something for myself anyway, and the fruit looked like it was on its way out. I hate waste of any kind," Arizona replied dismissively. Wordlessly, she handed Callie the cup of coffee and the bowl of yogurt and joined her on the couch where they sat silently eating breakfast.

As soon as Callie was done, she made a quick trip to the bathroom. When she emerged a few minutes later, her face and hair a bit less dishevelled than they had been moments prior, she went directly to the work table.

"I'm going to need your help sewing today, Arizona," the designer said quietly, praying to a God that she didn't speak to with any sort of regularity that for once, the young woman would just do as she asked and not torture her with her wise-assed comments.

Arizona got up and went to the table, standing next to Callie and awaited instructions.

"I need to start draping these fabrics on the dress forms so we can start stitching them together. If I drape, can you help me hold the fabric in place while it's pinned?" Callie asked.

"Sure—no problem," Arizona replied brusquely, trying to steady her breath, its regular rhythm disturbed whenever she was in close proximity to Callie.

Deciding that she should start with the most complex designs first to get them out of the way so they didn't wear on her confidence, or suffer from lack of energy which she was bound to experience as the next 48 hours unfolded, she picked up the fabric pieces for her showpiece—an intricately cut red satin dress, which, if executed properly, would be heart stopping. As she lay the first swatch of fabric over the shoulders of the dress form, she handed a box of pins to Arizona who stood next to her.

"Hold this right here, and let me get the next piece," Callie said as she leaned over and took the cloth in her hand, and placed several pins between her lips. Sometimes I wish I had more hands, Callie thought and then her mind wandered to that pornographic place it often inhabited and she wondered what she could do to Arizona's body with four hands. Chasing the thought from her head, she placed the cloth carefully next to the first piece and held it in place, pinning it quickly together. She took Arizona's hand and moved it from where it was holding the first piece, to the place where the two pieces of cloth met, the brief contact sending tingles through Callie's arm. For fuck's sake Torres, focus! You don't have time for this shit right now! Callie told herself sternly. They repeated the process several more times and when the fabric pieces had been pinned together, Callie lifted it over the top of the dress form and moved it to the sewing machine.

"Watch how I do this please and then replicate the exact stitching, okay Arizona?" Callie instructed. "The placement of the stitching is crucial to how this thing is going to hang, and I don't have time to rip your stitching out and do it over myself."

"Yes, ma'am!" Arizona said clicking her heels together and saluting in her best imitation of a soldier. Callie ignored her antics and proceeded to expertly sew a straight and sure line, joining the first two pieces together in under a minute. She did the same for the next portion and then got up from the seat and motioned to Arizona to do the next section.

Arizona steadied herself by taking a deep breath. She was comforted as the face of her grandmother swam into her consciousness, giving her strength and confidence. She sewed the next three sections of the garment together as effortlessly and flawlessly as Callie had, while the designer hovered above her, her breath tickling her hair and neck slightly. It took all of her self control and concentration to block out the sensations of Callie's nearness to her body and focus on the task at hand. If I give in to her—to this—then she wins, Arizona thought with renewed resolve as she continued to sew the rest of the garment together.

Callie was looking for a mistake—anything to criticize Arizona with—but came up empty. The stitching was perfect. She could see no difference between the lines that she had done and Arizona's lines.

"That's perfect, Arizona," Callie said sincerely as they returned the newly assembled piece back onto the dress form to finish draping the bottom section of the dress. It took them another two hours to finish the dress, which the designer put to the side while they started on the next most complicated design—a rich, turquoise silk gown, adorned with delicate, thin black strips of braided silk. The two women repeated the process and stood by the form, this time allowing Arizona to pin the strips together after she placed them where she wanted them. Callie prayed that Arizona's seamstress skills were as sure as her own—then they could work side by side and do whatever was needed instead of just one or two parts of the whole.

"Remind me to thank your grandmother, Robbins," Callie said smiling—her first smile of the day.

"That would be a neat trick if you could. She's been dead for five years." Arizona continued on pinning the pieces of fabric together, her face not giving away a hint of emotion.

"I'm sorry, Arizona," Callie said quietly, knowing that she had unwittingly stumbled upon a land mine buried deep in the young woman's psyche.

"There's no way you could have known, Callie. Just drop it and keep the next piece in place, would you? I think it slipped down a bit, so you might want to check the placement," Arizona said brusquely.

Callie's eyes shot open at the same time as her head snapped up from her worktable. She reached up quickly to remove the piece of fabric that was dangling from her forehead, her eyes scanning the room for any sign of Arizona. The faint aroma of coffee filled the air and she grumbled, knowing that she would have to extricate herself from her chair in order to get a cup. Callie groggily stumbled into the kitchen to find Arizona sitting at the table, sipping a cup of coffee. "How long was I asleep for?" Callie mumbled, somewhat coherently.

"Apparently not long enough. Somebody is not a morning person," Arizona said cheerfully. Callie only glared at the other woman in response. "Only a couple of hours," Arizona resigned.

"A couple of hours? Christ, Arizona. Why didn't you wake me?"

"Because you are far more tolerable when you are asleep," Arizona offered with a small shrug of her shoulders, before bringing the mug to her lips.

Callie reached over and stole the mug from Arizona's hands. She inhaled deeply, "Smells yummy. Thanks."

"Callie..." The ringing of Arizona's cell phone cut her off. Arizona picked her phone up off the table and glanced down at the small screen. "I have to take this." Arizona stood from the table and moved to the living room. "Yes, Teddy?" She smiled as she answered the phone.

"Hey, Sis. I was thinking that we could grab breakfast," Teddy said.

"I would love that but I can't today. I'm really busy," Arizona responded with genuine disappointment.

"Busy? Since when are you too busy for your favourite sister?"

"I am just helping someone with something. We will do lunch later this week, I promise," Arizona offered, switching the phone to her other ear.

"Spill, sis! What are you doing and who are you with? Or who are you doing and what are you not telling me?" Teddy laughed loudly at her own brashness.

Arizona chuckled, "I'm just helping Callie with her new line. It's not a big deal, Teddy. So don't make it one."

"You're with Callie Torres right now?" Teddy's voice raised an octave. "Oh my God, Zona. I'm sooo bringing breakfast to you. I have to meet her. You have to introduce us."

"No. Definitely not. Not going to happen. Sorry, Teds," Arizona shook her head as she responded.

"Who's Teddy?" Callie interjected, walking into the living room and dropping onto the couch.

Arizona covered the phone with the palm of my hand and whispered, "My sister."

"You have a sister?" Callie asked, taking a sip of her coffee before continuing "Is she hot?" Arizona rolled her eyes and walked back towards the kitchen. Callie shifted on the couch to watch as the younger woman paced the kitchen and spoke in a hushed tone. A few minutes later Arizona returned and slumped down onto the couch next to Callie. "You never answered my question," Callie smirked. "Is she hot?"

"She is." Arizona stated flatly. "However, she is MY sister, which of course makes her off limits to you."

"You know the fact that you are telling me that I can't have her only makes me want her more, right?"

"Unfortunately for you my sister actually has taste," Arizona deadpanned.

"Don't underestimate me, Arizona. I could fuck your sister if I wanted to," Callie replied confidently.

"Why don't you put your money where your mouth is? She's going to be here in about five minutes."

Callie placed her mug down on the table next to the couch and slid closer to Arizona. She leaned in close to whisper, "You're on, but for the record I can think of much better things to do with my mouth."

"Show me," Arizona breathed.

Callie pushed Arizona onto her back and slowly crawled up the other woman's body. Suspending her lips just above Arizona's she husked, "One. Kiss. Arizona. Just one incredibly delicious kiss is all that it would take to have you begging for more."

"Prove it," Arizona dared.

Callie's body throbbed with desire as she narrowed in on the younger woman's lips. Callie dipped her head and immediately felt the warmth of Arizona's breath on her face. She licked her lips and inched forward. Arizona's eyes fluttered closed in anticipation as she moved her hands to rest on Callie's back. Arizona could feel the ache in her center intensify exponentially as she felt the tips of Callie's fingers brush over her breasts. Callie slowly slid her hands lower and lifted Arizona's shirt, exposing her toned abdomen. She shifted her body and dipped her tongue into the younger woman's navel. She licked a languid path down to the top of Arizona's jeans and trailed her tongue along the waistband of the extremely low cut denim. Callie smiled against Arizona's heated flesh as the blonde shivered beneath her. She placed a single kiss just below Arizona's hipbone, nipping the sensitive area and then gently soothing it with her tongue.

The sound of the buzzer caused Arizona's eyes to shoot open to find the other woman straddling her thighs, gazing up at her intently as Callie's face hovered millimetres above her aching sex. Callie pulled back slightly and smiled confidently at the dazed woman beneath her. "Like I said...just one kiss, Arizona."

Arizona sat up and pushed Callie off of her. She stood from the couch and smoothed out her shirt before moving towards the entranceway. "It's going to take a lot more than that to get me to beg, sweetheart," she tossed over her shoulder before opening the door.

"Hey, sis," Teddy greeted cheerfully, passing Arizona a cardboard coffee tray.

"Good morning, Teddy," Arizona grumbled.

"Well, don't you sound happy this morning," Teddy's gleeful tone only irritated Arizona more. Noting the scowl on her sister's face, Teddy leaned in to whisper, "Judging from the look on your face right now I am guessing that it would be safe to assume that you haven't fucked her yet?"

"Teddy," Arizona warned.

"You must be Teddy. Hi, I'm Callie." The designer appeared from around the corner and sauntered towards the stunned woman.

"H... Hi," Teddy stuttered, extending her hand to Callie.

"Don't be silly, Teddy," Callie said, swatting the other woman's hand away gently and pulling her into a tight embrace. "We love to hug around here. Don't we, Arizona?" A smug smile played on Callie's lips as she glanced over to Teddy's shoulder to Arizona, who shot her an icy glare. Finally releasing Teddy, Callie asked, "The coffee smells delicious. Thank you, Teddy."

"I brought muffins too," Teddy squeaked, offering the bag to Callie.

"Wow, beautiful and thoughtful." Callie shot Teddy her trademark grin before turning to face Arizona. "Arizona, if your sister got both the brains and the beauty what exactly did you end up with?" Callie chuckled as Arizona's hands flew to her hips.

"Much better taste apparently," Arizona retorted, taking in the look of adoration on her sister's face.

"Teddy, I hope that you plan on joining us for breakfast," Callie's voice was dangerously low and incredibly sexy.

"I... of course, Ms. Torres. I would love to."

"Please, there's no need to be so formal. Call me Callie," the older woman corrected.

Callie led the way to the kitchen with both Robbins's following closely behind. Callie set the bag down on the table and took a seat next to Teddy. She pulled out a blueberry muffin before offering the bag to Teddy. "So, Teddy, you seem far less uptight than your sister. What do you like to do for fun?" Callie put extra emphasis on the last word as she broke off a piece of the muffin and slowly brought it to her lips. "Mmm this is scrumptious," she moaned. Neither sister could tear their eyes away from Callie's full lips. Callie sucked her fingers into her mouth and licked them clean. She tore off another piece of her muffin and moved it towards Teddy's mouth. "Hungry?"

Teddy nodded her head and parted her lips, closing her mouth to wrap around Callie's fingers. The designer's lips quirked into a smug smile upon noticing Arizona roll her eyes and drop her head to look down at the table.

The sound of the door opening and then quickly closing drew Callie's attention away from Teddy's lips.

"CALLIE?" Addison called out as she entered Callie's loft.

Grumbling, Callie shouted, "We're in the kitchen, Addison."

Addison made her way into the kitchen and was surprised to see that Callie had company. "This better be a gathering to celebrate the completion of your line, Callie," Addison stated, crossing her arms over her chest.

"Oh, would you relax, Addison. The line will be finished tonight. I already have four designs completed," Callie explained.

"It HAS to be finished tonight. Bryant Park is TOMORROW and my ass is on the line here," Addison scoffed, scowling at Callie's breezy demeanor.

Arizona used Addison's tirade as a means to escape from the kitchen and speak to her sister. She quietly stood from the table and dragged Teddy by the hand into the living room.

"What's up, sis?" Teddy asked giddily.

"What the fuck do you think you're doing, Teddy?" Arizona whispered in a harsh tone.

Teddy's confusion was evident. "What do you mean?"

"Making sexy eyes with Callie... You licked her fucking fingers for Christ's sake, Teddy!"

"She's hot," Teddy responded with a shrug of her shoulders.

"She's... she's frustrating and demanding and..." Arizona argued unsuccessfully.

"Yeah... don't really care about that. I'm not looking to marry her, Arizona. I am just having a little fun."

"Well, you're going to have to go have fun elsewhere. We have work to do and you are a distraction," Arizona began.

"Oh my God, you SO want her. Why didn't you just say so?" Teddy said, feeling mildly guilty for openly flirting with Callie. "I would never step on your turf."

"The only thing I want is for her to contract some sort of incurable disease... ebola... syphilis... leprosy...I don't care."

"Riiight, Z. Remember, I know you better than you know yourself. I'm going to go now, but seriously if you don't fuck her I'm going to. Consider yourself warned," Teddy said.

"Goodbye, Teddy," Arizona said, spinning her sister towards the entrance to the loft and turning to re-enter the kitchen.

"I don't know what you want me to say, Addison. This was not my fault. It's not like I gave my whole line to Constantine," Callie shouted, standing to emphasize her point.

"You're being melodramatic, Callie. Why don't you take a deep breath and sit back down. You can start by introducing me to the beautiful woman sitting across from you," Addison purred, blatantly checking Arizona out.

"Addison...Arizona," Callie sat and motioned from one woman to the other. "Arizona...Addison." Callie repeated the motion with an unenthusiastic wave of her hand.

"Ahhh, of course! The photographer!" Addison grinned wickedly at Callie. "I know that you said she was pretty, Callie, but pretty just does not do her justice. She's stunning."

"Oooh, you think I'm pretty?" Arizona batted her eyelashes at Callie.

"I never said that," Callie quickly covered herself.

"Yes, you did, Callie. Right before you said you wouldn't mind a..." Addison began.

"Enough. Addison, is there something you needed? Because if not, I have work to do," Callie cut her publicist off before the other woman could reveal too much.

Addison attempted to sneak a glance at Arizona, which did not go unnoticed by Callie. "There's something I need all right, but from the looks of things you need it far worse than I do. You have twenty-six hours until show time." she said before turning to Arizona. "It was a pleasure to meet you, Arizona."

"The pleasure was all mine," Arizona flashed the publicist her dimpled smile.

"Don't let me down, Callie," Addison added, standing from her chair and moving towards the front door.

"Don't let me down, Callie," Callie muttered under her breath.

"Wow, have I told you how sexy it is when you act like a ten year old?" Arizona joked.

"Shut up, Robbins." Callie jumped up from the table and walked to her studio.

"Hey, where are you going? Are we going to jump rope? Oohh, can we play hopscotch? I love me some hopscotch."

The designer entered her studio and stood in front of a mannequin that was dressed in an exquisite knee length red satin gown. "It's missing something," Callie said, tapping her finger against her pursed lips.

"It looks fine to me," Arizona responded, moving to stand behind Callie.

"I wasn't asking for your opinion," Callie snapped, reaching for a very long and narrow piece of red satin. She stepped forward to loop it around the neck of the mannequin. "So, where did your sister rush of to?" She asked through a seductive grin.

"She prattled on about how incredibly boring you are and said that she had better things to do with her afternoon," Arizona tried in vain to sound convincing and smiled as the other woman nodded. "Oh, she also said that the magazine airbrushing is your saving grace."

"Ha, now I know that you're lying. We both know that I'm a hottie," Callie retorted, pinning the excess fabric to the bust line of the gown. "It would be hard for Teddy not to notice. I'm flattered...really...she's pretty hot herself. I would love to see more of her. Maybe I should invite her to the fashion show as my personal guest. You know, give her the star treatment. Front row seat next to all the big designers and celebrities. Someone bringing her champagne all night long as she watches my creations come down the runway one by one. And then, after the show, I can take her to the after party with me...or maybe we'll skip the party and I'll bring her back here..." Callie stated teasingly.

"You cannot be serious," Arizona was furious.

"Why don't you give me her number and you will find out just how serious I am." Callie turned to face Arizona in an attempt to gauge the other woman's reaction.

"Fine," Arizona spat out as she leaned over to the desk to scribble on a piece of paper. She folded it in half and turned to hand it to Callie.

The designer pulled her cell phone out of her back pocket. She swiftly crossed the room to sit down in the chair behind her work table. Callie leaned back in her chair, throwing her feet up on the table. She cleared her throat before unfolding the paper. "917-Go-Fuck-Yourself? Clever, Robbins." Callie chuckled.

"I thought so. Did you want me to dial that for you too? Or do you think that you can handle it?" Arizona deadpanned.

"You're a funny girl, Arizona. It's a shame that your sense of humor only comes out to play when you're jealous," Callie said, grinning.

"I know this is hard for you to believe but I do NOT want you, Calliope. I couldn't care less who you fuck."

"As long as it's not your sister, right?" Callie's smile widened.

"I'm just trying to save my sister from an evening of mediocre sex followed by an expensive visit to her OB-GYN to remedy the itching and burning sensations from said act," Arizona laughed loudly.

"Sweetheart, sex with me is anything but mediocre. Be sure to ask Teddy just how true that statement is the day after my show, okay?"

Arizona crossed the room and with a quick swipe of her arm she threw Callie's feet from the desk. She sat where Callie's feet previously rested and leaned forward to roll the chair that the older woman currently occupied between her legs. "You don't give a shit about my sister, Callie. You're just trying to get a reaction from me that would only serve to feed your already oversized ego."

"First of all, my ego is just the right size. Secondly, if I were trying to get a reaction out of you..." Callie paused to tuck her legs under her body, leaned in and lowered her mouth to hover above the younger woman's denim clad knee. "I would probably start by doing this." Keeping her eyes locked with Arizona's, the designer nipped a path up the other woman's thigh, being sure to apply more pressure to the areas that made her whimper. She came to a stop, resting her chin at the apex of Arizona's thighs she grinned devilishly. "And if that didn't work I would definitely try this," Callie husked, dipping her head to cover Arizona's clothed sex with her mouth. She expelled a long, hot breath before inhaling deeply the delicious scent of the blonde's arousal. Arizona's head flew back wildly and her eyes slammed shut as a guttural moan tore through her. Callie pulled back unexpectedly and slid her chair away from Arizona. "You see, that my dear, is how you evoke a reaction."

Arizona took a moment to steady her breathing before retorting, "I've had stronger reactions to my showerhead."

"Mmm, now that is a visual that is going to stay with me for the rest of the night and I'm more than okay with that," Callie winked playfully at Arizona before continuing, "but I'm going to need you to remove your ass from my desk so that I can finish my designs."
