Soon, he'll go back to Resembool. It will be summer by then. The Promised Day will have come and gone, he and Alphonse will be whole again. He will be free to collapse in Winry's arms and together they'll watch Alphonse breathe, sleep, eat and live, and Edward will live too, oh yes he will.
