Q and Jesus
John Luke Picard and Jesus talked at length while on the way to QonoS about Q.
"Who is Q, in Your mind, Sir?" Jesus answered, "Remember the story of Adam and Eve?" Picard nodded. Jesus continued, "Well, Q was a human who had a supernatural event happen. My Father allowed Satan to test Q, as he tested Job and Q, who was named David Quinn on Earth as one of the first people who spoke the English language from the time of Nimrod, went through the final temptation that Satan gave me during My life on Earth. Remember how Lucifer showed me the kingdoms of the earth?" Picard nodded again, "All the kingdoms of the world I will give You." "Yes, and of course, I resisted; Q didn't, however, and instead of ruling the kingdoms of the world, he ruled the galaxies, and Lucifer gave him and his family and friends supernatural power and waited 2,400 years to come to you and appear to you on your first mission." "Yes, the Farpoint Mission." Jesus nodded. "So now, what will You do?" "You will call on Q and take Me to His courtroom."
Picard looked up, "Q? We're here. I seek an audience with you." They waited. Then they were teleported to the courtroom of the Q Continuum. "Welcome back, mon capitan." "Q, it's been a while since you declared us free." "You do know that the trial never ends, Jean-Luc." Nodding, Picard said, "Yes, I know." Looking to Jesus, "This is Jesus of Nazareth, from Earth's ancient history." Q laughed, "Did you use one of your Holodeck for this facsimile?" "No, Q, this is no fantasy. This is the real Jesus, from 1 century AD." Walking closer, "And, He's God!" "HUH! A GOD, is He?" Q laughed, then they were teleported to the "afterlife" of the Q Continuum. "Okay, Jean-Luc, for the benefit of the doubt, let's say I believe you. What can He do?" Jesus answered, "This." Jesus waved His nail-scarred and all three were taken to a place in ancient time. "What do you see?" "I see a big pile of rubble that puny little minions are building something out of." Q looked at Jesus, "What does this have to do with me?' "Look closer." Jesus waved His hand behind Q "What do you see?" "I see a human male made to look just me. But that preposterous, that could be anyone." "No, Q, that is you, as you've always been." "No." "Here." Jesus looked to the south. "What do you see now?" "This can't be!" Picard assured Q, "Oh, but it was, Q. You were taken under the wing of our Lord's greatest enemy. That is Satan you are speaking to. He gave you the immense power you now have and have had for 2,400 years. Now that the Lord has returned, it is your choice to leave the Continuum and follow Jesus; or you can be forced out of the Continuum, and your friends and you can be sent to Hell."
"You're asking me to rescind all my powers to Him?" "Yes, David Quinn, I am." "What did you call me?" "David Quinn was your name before you became the Q. You've been lied to, manipulated, caught in a scam, to use an old Earth phrase. Snap your fingers." "What?!" Q said with a disgusted look. "Snap your fingers." Q did and nothing happened. "Think about vanishing away." "What obtuse nonsense is this!" "You can't can you?" Jesus answered, "I have overcome the Devil's hold on you, David Quinn. Now that he is banished in Hell for all eternity, you must choose Me or choose the abyss and the Lake of Fire." Jesus showed David Quinn His hands. "Look upon the True Master of the Universe. I am the Beginning and the End. The First and the Last. He who was dead and is alive forever more." David Quinn said, "What about Junior?" "He's safe with the Voyager crew. I went to him before I came to you. He believes. His mother believes. Now, it's all down to you." "Jean Luc?" "Believe in Him, David. This is far better than the game from Risa. This is eternity that He's offering you." David sobbed and believed. "I'm sorry, Lord, for making myself like You." As he composed himself, "I'll admit it was a bit of fun, but who wants to play God?" Jesus laughed, "I see your sincerity, David Quinn. Come follow Me.!"
