Chapter 11

Veronica slowly opened the door to her sister's bedroom and quietly tiptoed her way inside like a thief. After all Kaname was there sleeping. From a good distance she observed him carefully and confirmed that he was actually as the only thing she could see was the light rise and fall on his chest which was half under the duvet. 'Kaname is still asleep. Perfect timing.' Veronica thought to herself as she moved towards her sister's closet.

Kaname slowly opened his eyes as Veronica made her way towards the closet. Actually he was awake this whole time but didn't want to scare veronica instead he chose to secretly observe her.

Kaname saw her opening Lydia's makeup compartments and picked up few of those stuff and put it inside what appeared to be her backpack and soon as she was done secretly left the room just like the way she entered. As soon as Veronica exited Kaname looked at the table clock beside his bedside table and found it was 6.00 am in the morning and Veronica leaves for the school at 8.30 and usually wakes up at quarter to 8.

'why is she up two hours before the due time.'

Suddenly he got in the guardian mode and decided to stalk her. Kaname secretly waited to see how Veronica actually get out of her room and it turned out exactly as he suspected she took two hours to get ready. Her hair was so perfectly done that it had an extra added to leaving behind her normal shine. Her school uniformed appeared tight high-lighting her newly blooming curves and her stocking was lacy one rather than plain black one that goes with the school uniform. Then another realization hit him those pair of stocking are not hers it's Lydia's. he saw them on her many at time; on bed, while giving him a lap dance and other etc etc times. He figured it all out Veronica is trying to take her relationship with Len to another level.

As soon as Veronica left the house the sound of children's cries reached Kaname ears and he quickly rushed into their room to find their milk was left on the table untouched. Veronica was so busy with herself that he totally forgot to feed the kids. By now kaname was more than furious because Veronica's careless ness was going to cause him and a few others in the house a lot of trouble.

Letting out a frustrated sigh Kaname made his way towards the crib and picked both of them up in each of his arms and gently started shaking them a bit in order for them to calm down.

The crying went on for quite some time, his daughter was the first one to calm down sensing her father's presence. One of the maid rushed towards the room to give Kaname a hand with the children because first he had no experience with them second it was impossible for him to handle two at the same time. By the end it ended up being Kaname along with three expert maids managing the new-borns and one of them was Bea who happens to be Lydia-Veronica's baby sitter. Even with all these resources it was difficult to get the children to calm down and eat but for Veronica it was absolutely diffenrent. She didn't really have to do anything, her presence was everything for them even though most of the time she poked them or tickled or chewed their feet; it kept them happy. Not it was crystal clear to Kaname that Veronica was his children's happiness. This is what his father in law tried to explain it to him; he needed Veronica, his children needed Veronica not that level-C wannabe musician.

Kaname watched as the maids fed them, gave them a bath and after changing the diapers and fresh clothes on put them to bed. Ugen his son fell asleep right away, more like he was asleep thought out the process of being bathed but his Myra, his little star was fully awake. Kaname moved towards the crib to find his son nuzzling into the side of the pillow. The sight was so cute that it automatically him bends down to place a soft kiss on the beautiful boy's temple and fully tugs him under his Spongebob Square pants blanket.

From there he moved towards the pink crib that belonged to his daughter. As he bent down over that crib mysterious burgundy eyes met with innocent green ones that was watching him with curiosity and soon a beautiful toothless smile crept up on her lips as she recognised her father. That innocent smile lightened up the dark world in which Kaname kuran lived. He felt his heart explode with happiness at the sight of that smile and he knew he would do anything to make sure that this smile never vanishes.

Kaname could resist himself anymore. He gave into the urge of taking her into his arms. Without wasting a moment he picked up the feathery soft fuzzball wrapped in a soft pink bundle in his arms. He held her very carefully and lightly making sure he was not crushing her. Another smile made it's way to kaname's lips as he saw his daughter make some noise with excitement of being this close to her father. Kaname softly caressed her temple with his lips which made the baby again giggle with happiness. Everytime she giggled in happiness her it tripled her father's happiness.

"Now we don't want to wake your brother up do we?" Kaname cooed in her ear as he walked out of that room and made his way towards his room. On the way to his room he crossed path with his little sister Yuki but it was actually the first time when none of them spoke to one another just silently glared at each other.

Upon entering his room Kaname gently placed his baby on the bed and climbed on to it himself too. He wondered for a while what to do with her while he just watched him and soon started making noises in order to get his attention, she got right away. Kaname observed that she frequently opened her mouth as if she wants to chew something that is when he remembers at times like this Veronica used her pinkie finger, so he did the same and watched with amused eyes his daughter's desperate attempt to byte despite having no teeth at all. Soon the little princess was bored and started crying in signalling her father to try something else. This time he gently put one of his fingers around her small only for her to hold it as tight as possible and squeeze it a little soon that was boring for her too. So this time Kaname decided take one of her foot massaged t a little with his thumb. She giggled and moved both her feet gently kicking his face. Kaname enjoyed every bit of it in-fact he moved his face even closer so that she could enjoy hitting his face even more. There is always time for everything so this time of little joy for Kaname came to an end as little Myra started to get tired and yawned. Kaname realized what he should do next so he simply placed his hand over her head and gently started stroking till she could no longer keep her eyes open.

Even though his beautiful girl was fast asleep he remained there exactly like that after all it was quite difficult to take his eyes of her.

"…you brighten up my dark world my Star…" the pureblood king muttered under his breath as he placed a final kiss on his daughter's temple only for her to move a little, which scared him inside and he quickly started patting her till she again fell into her deep slumber.

"What is in there?" Len asked eyeing the box that Veronica just handed him.

"Just open it silly." Veronica said giggling.

"As you wish my queen." Len said placing a soft kiss on her lips only for Veronica to cup his face and kiss him back. Right after pulling back from him Len started unwrapping the box as he opened the box finally he saw a wallet. It surprised him a little. "A wallet?" He questioned Veronica a bit amused.

"Your one is torn, so I decided to get you a new one." Veronica said happily but her happiness was short lived because soon the smile on Len's face got replaced by a very serious deep frown.

"What's this?" Len asked in a calm furious tone.

"A wallet…can't you see blindo." Veronica said bobbling her head.

"What kind of cheap joke is this?" this time Len's voice escaped as a hiss making Veronica gasp. She had no clue why on earth his mood changed too drastically. "Len... what's wrong?" This time Veronica asked with a serious face. "Len?" She placed her hand on his shoulder but he pushed it away. "...Len?" this time Veronica said in a louder tone.

"Don't you dare touch me…bitch."

The use of slang, coming from Len's mouth got Veronica frozen. All she was trying to figure out what exactly happened.

"What do you think of yourself? Just because that bastard father of yours has hell lot of money doesn't mean you can buy me. What were you thinking... you cheap whore? Presenting me a wallet filled with a stack of cash?" Len growled making Veronica gulp nervously.

"I have no idea what you are talking about…"Veronica was truly confused because she clearly remembers not putting any cash inside it. Len brought the wallet to her eye level and showed the stack of cash inside it. "Does it ring a bell? Miss Mori?" Hissed Len.

"Trust me Len you have to trust me…I didn't put it. I have no idea where it came from.." this time Veronica was on tears, her voice was broken. "Len I didn't do it."

"Of course you didn't…" Len spoke in a sarcastic tone and this time he threw both the wallet and the cash inside on her face and walked away from there not even caring that his precious Veronica was crying. "I don't need either you or your dad's money."

"Len please listen to me. Len you're misunderstanding. I love you Len. I didn't do it...I would never do it." Veronica cried running after him but today Veronica's cries meant noting to him. 'Fuck off' was all he said without even stopping or looking back. In truth it broke his heart too but he couldn't help it because today Veronica has crossed her limit she dared to do something...offensive, pity him for being poor. No one had ability to buy him not even Veronica.

Kaname kept on knocking Veronica's door but no response from inside did get him a little agitated so he opened the door and entered without waiting for permission from the inside. To his relief his princess was absolutely fine physically but of course mentally she was devastated. He could smell her salty tears all the way from the entrance door of her bedroom.

Veronica was lying down on her bed, with her face buried inside her pillow. She felt Kaname's presence inside the room but didn't have the mind to care or acknowledge it. She felt her mattress move as some sat there. Soon a hand was caressing her hair as the smooth voice called her.

"Princess.."

" Not now...Kaname...Please leave me alone for some time." Veronica voice wasn't really clear due to how it was buried on the pillow.

"I cannot hear you."

"Just go…"

"Still not clear.."

"Fine.." this time Veronica shot up "Happy! You tricked me to see my face and now you may go." But before she could go back to her previous position Kaname got hold of both her arms preventing her from moving. A smirk of victory crept across his face.

"Gotcha." He spoke in hard-core English accent. Something that he pulled of many at times to mock his half English wife. Veronica struggles her best to free herself from his iron grip but offcourse he was Kaname and she was Veronica.

"What's wrong Princess?" Kaname asked erasing the mascara smudges from under her eyes. It got impossible for Veronica to control her emotion; she jumped into the male purebloods arms only for her brother in law to pull her into the tightest embrace possible while she cried.

Kaname simply stroked her hair as she sobbed loudly on his chest.

"Princess…Shhhhh…you're a big girl now…and big girls don't cry…" there was no sign her of stopping, with every passing Veronica's sobbing became louder and more intense resulting in her getting hiccups. Kaname motioned a maid to get a glass of water for Veronica. As the maid walked in with the glass Kaname took it from her and held it in front of Veronica's lips slowly making her drink all of it.

"Now do you feel better?" Veronica just nodded her head saying 'no'

"Very well then.." this time her brother in law got up and scooped her up in his arms and put her over his shoulders and started walking in a different direction.

"Where are you taking me?" Veronica asking still crying

"That's a surprise."

Kaname put her down after entering into a dark room. Veronica was a bit confused first but the moment her brother in law switched on all the lights Veronica's face changed it was filled with shock and joy at the sametime. After all it's her old bedroom. It was always heaven for her, it had everything. All the staffed animals in one corner, the other side was filled with Veronica's Barbie collection, the other side had her different princess toy sets where she played 'Fairy princess and husband' with Kaname when she was a child…well she mainly forced or blackmailed him to play with her. And the most interesting part about this game was she always made Kaname the fairy princess and she was the evil king her husband. The pureblood king always hated this kind of stupid games but for his princess he overlooked everything including the fact how hilarious he always looked wearing fairy crown and wings.

Veronica ran towards that side first. Happiness was coming out of her every angle, for the time being she forgot about her fight with Len. Kaname just leaned on the wall and watched her with sad eyes. He hated himself for being so cruel. He knew very well this cruelness will one day take him to the lowest level of hell. In all these thought Kaname closed his eyes tightly as a sad sigh escaped his lips.

"Kaname remember this stupid game 'Fairy princess husband'?" Veronica's voice made the male pureblood opened his eyes. Veronica looked at him confused because suddenly there was no emotion in his eyes at all. Even when he marched towards her and took the princess crown that she was holding and placed it on her head.

"How do I look?" Veronnica asked moving her head in different angle.

"Exactly like a fairy prin- Queen exactly like my queen." the way Kaname's voice came out it sent chill down Veronica's spine.

Then he moved towards the music player, put a CD on played a very romantic tune and turned towards Veronica. This time there were tones of different emotions in his eyes that made no sense to Veronica but the younger vampire recognized one particular look that he always gave her sister. It was a look of intense desire or yearn to be prefect and for the second time it sent shivers down her spine. Veronica didn't understand what was happening to her, her brain didn't have the answer why her body was reacting that way.

"Dance with me my evil king husband." Kaname said offering his hand to Veronica. The younger female hesitated a little but took it either way... and the next thing she knows that kaname pulls her dangerously close to him.

Close...way too close

Kaname took both Veronica's arms and wrapped it around his torso and his slowly slid down to her waist and they started to move slowly with the rhythm of music. Over the time they did a lot of different moves he twirled her around, let her go from his arms and sharply pull her towards him by the next second. His fingers slowly traced over her collar bone making veronica close her eyes as pleasurable shiver were passing throughout her body making her breath getting shaky little by little. Again he turned her towards him and wrapped her arms around his torso and his around hers.

This time Veronica was standing on top of her brother in laws feet, still the difference between them was a quite a lot. They moved with the music but it was very slow barely understandable…but what was understandable was the fact that their faces were getting closer with every passing breath. Kaname leaned down and gently kissed the outer corner of her eye then the outer shell of her ear and moved to her temple placed a longing kiss there then came down to her nose placed a sot kiss there, from there he moved to her cheek and then moved to the other cheek. After that placed his temple on hers and shared his breath with her.

"….Kaname.." Veronica whispered his name softly, she didn't know why but it just happened.

"….Vero-nica.." He almost moaned her name as if it was an automatic reflex and the sound of his voice for the third time sent shiver down the younger person's spine. The shivers started to get more pleasurable when Kaname's hot breath fann her lips even more. The tips of their nose started brushing against each other…their lips were just few centimeters away. Both their grip tightened on each other.

"...Veronica..."

"...Kaname..."

Kind…you are too kind Kaname. Why…why isn't Len like you…Why isn't he as kind as you...why isn't he as lucky as you...why isn't he you Kaname...

They stayed like that feeling each other's soul…sorrow and pain and also by this time both had they eyes fixed on each other's lips as if it was a treasure they found. Eventually the music came to stop but still none of them moved instead shaky breath started coming from their lips. Veronica could feel herself tightning her hold around her brother in law.

"...Kana-me.."

"music is over…Prin-" Kaname doesn't get the chance to finish his sentence as Veronica pressed her soft lips into his, pulling him into a longing kiss. Kaname opened his mouth out of shock giving full access to Veronica which took right away and slipped her tongue inside and started to explore every corner of it. Before Kaname could do anything Veronica tightened her hold on her brother in laws head and deepen the kiss. For about a minute or two Kaname just stood there and moved is mouth in the same rhythm as hers but soon his controls were thrown over the edge, and when Veronica parted this time it was him who pulled her back towards him with his lips while also bending down a little and wrapped his arms around her hips and lifted her off the ground and started moved towards the nearby couch, the two of them still indulged in the most passionate kiss ever.

As Rima as was passing by Veronica's room she heard the sound of Veronica's phone ringing. She entered and found the phone on her bed so she picked it and saw Len calling. She also knew who Len was she immediately left the room and searched for Veronica and her senses took her towards Veronica's old bedroom which wasn't used by her anymore but this time the lights of that room were on and door was slightly open. So without thinking twice she proceeded there but as she was about to open the door wide she got struck by thunder right away at the sight before her. Because it was something she never imagined..

The passion between the two caused more fire than they expected. By now they were already on the couch with Kaname on top of Veronica's small form. Though Kaname tore himself from her lips but only to move to her jaw, neck, throat, collar as all these parts of Veronica started to get ravished by the male vampire's lips. Kaname didn't even know when his fingers undid her uniform blazer and was doing her blouse but luckily Veronica was wearing camisole inside but that didn't stop her late sister's husband as he continued showing his passion for her with each of the kisses. The sound of their lustful breathing filled room. A moan passed Veronica's lips as Kaname started nibbling on the skin of her neck and soon another sound entered their eardrums…the sound of children crying. Both Kaname and Veronica were frozen on the spot and slowly realization hit them specially Veronica and she found herself lying down on the couch tightly holding her brother in law in her arms who in-fact had his mouth on her neck, biting the skin of that area or giving hickey to be more precise. In the next second they push each other away as far as possible. Veronica quickly pulled her blouse together from both sides to cover her chest and ran out of the room right away but Kaname just sat there like a statue still processing everything in his head that just happened with absolutely no emotion in his face… but slowly a small smirk curled up the corner of his lips. Then again a sad sigh escaped his lips, his heart tightened making him bite the inside of his mouth as tightly as possible as the feeling of hatred washed over him. He understood something this time, it was something that Lydia said to him out of anger but now he knows it's true. So true.

You truly are a disgusting being Kaname...

Next morning everyone turned up at the table for breakfast apart from to be bride and groom. A servant came down to inform Juri "Lord kaname says he has no appetite for breakfast and Veronica baby is still asleep."

"I really don't understand what is wrong with those two." Juri spoke with a frustrated sigh.

"Nothing is wrong with them…something is wrong with you all how are you all supporting this marriage. Injustice is being done with Veronica." Yuki interjected.

"Listen Yuki, no injustice is going on here. After what me and Rima just witnessed last night I would say her father absolutely made the right decision." Argued Shizuka Hio making Yuki narrow her eyes at her aunt but Shizuka continued anyways "I have seen them kissing last night and the amount of passion they both had…" Shizuka couldn't complete her sentence

"Kaname holds Veronica very dear…why can't you-"

"They were making out Yuki." Rima stated robotically cutting Yuki off, leading her to choke on her food and others including Zero, Shiki, Juri were stunned. The environment became awafully quiet. Untill Shizuka spoke once again " Making out is an understatement Rima, kaname was two minutes away from thrusting inside her." Again there was an awkward silence till Shizuka opened her mouth once again. "I have no idea what is wrong with that boy's character, he can't even hold himself to a fourteen year old…and with him as the king only God knows what dark future awaits for us." This time Shizuka hissed.

"Are you questioning my love for Lydia?" the cold velvety voice made everyone present frozen, they turned to see Kaname standing at the top of the stairs in his signature casual attire, with his arms folded across his chest.

"N I'm questioning your character…after all your character was always a questionable one when it came to Women." Shizuka spoke casually. "But then again I'm not surprised; I always knew that this would happen. I was more than sure that after finishing her teens Veronica and you would end up having an affair…behind Lydia's back." Suddenly the room temperature felt oddly cold, Yuki and Juri's gasps were loud and clear. Kaname vanished from the staircase and the next thing Shizuka feels her throat being crushed by Kaname.

"Kaname!" Yuki and Juri both screamed in union.

"Are you losing your mind Kaname?" Juri spoke while she, her daughter and Senri were pulling Kaname and shizuka apart.

As the two were separated Suzuka was panting a little for air while Rima and Senri stroked her back and Juri and Yuki tightly held onto Kaname. Soon Kaname shrugged both his mother and sister away and went upstairs. Soon as Kaname was out of sight Juri spoke out louder "please let my son have some peace! All of you are making him crazy. Why do you all have so much expectation from him? Just leave him alone." Juri almost screamed at the last part, though it was quite not clear who she was actually pointing at but this much was clear that she accused each and every one present there.

"Veronica baby!." Veronica tuned around to see her babysitter the woman who has been taking care of her even since she was born. Her grip on the photo frame the she was holding close to her chest tightened.

"Bea.." She called her babysitter "Can I please be alone for some time?" the woman went closer to her only to see dried stains of tears on her face. "Have you been crying all night Veronica baby?"

"I'm a bad person Bea," Bea took the photo frame from her only to see it was Lydia's picture. "I kissed Kaname, Lydia will never forgive me." Bea handed over the picture to Veronica and keeled down beside her so that it was easier to stroke her hair to comfort her.

" You're not a bad person Veronica baby, you only made a mistake. I'm sure Lydia baby will understand and also be proud of you at the same time,"

Veronica looked at her shocked and asked "Why?" in broken barely audible tone.

"Because you realize that you made a mistake and now you repenting it. All that matters is that you realize your mistake." Bea spoke pulling Veronica into her arms only for Veronica to break down into tears once again.

5 days later…..

Veronica was having quite a pleasant conversation with her father Havier Mori. She was giving him back and head rub while he was paying her with a big note every five minutes.

"There you go my love.." He handed his daughter another note only for her to put it inside her huge piggy bank that she kept on her father's study table. "Now concentrate more on the head Verno.."

"Ofcourse.." veronica said cheerfully as she continued with her work. She was quite happy since her parents return from Paris last night; after all they go plenty of gifts for her. But what she didn't know that there were more surprised gifts for her, a surprise that would turn her world upside down. Veronica kept on talking to her father about their trip but stopped as Juri suddenly entered the room without knocking it was as if her father was precisely waiting for her. Four maids followed her into her father's office and two of them were holding what appeared to be a wedding dress.

Veronica was confused noting was really making sense to her. Her older sister just passed away two weeks ago then what on earth was a high end designer wedding dress doing at home. It wasn't Lydia's because the one Lydia wore was designed by Versaci and this one is Chanel.

"Veronica my child please come over here." Juri called her in an extremely serious tone. It made no sense to Veronica after all Juri was always a hyper type. Veronica looked at her father asking permission to move which he right away gave.

Veronica slowly moved towards her Juri who took her towards the wall mirror in her father's study and signaled the maid who was holding a black box to march towards them. The box opened to reveal the most beautiful pair of earring she had ever seen. It had a huge sapphire in the middle with small diamonds circling it.

Juri took both the earring and put them on each of Veronica's ears. Veronica wanted to crack some joke but the seriousness on both the older vampires face scared her but still she dared to ask

"What's with this gift all of a sudden?"

"Veronica it's the earring that has been passed from generation to generation. In the Kuran family." Juri's words made no sense to Veronica all she thought why she was the one getting it. She is no way a Kuran.

"Shouldn't Yuki be the one-"

"It's always passed to the Kuran brides." The line made Veronica's hear skip a beat. She wasn't aware that there was a slight blush on her face mostly out of fear as she remembered her kiss with Kaname. Right then guilt took over her mind but none of these lasted long as Juri started speaking again

"I never understood why I always forgot to give this to Lydia but today I have the answer…these earrings were waiting for you." Veronica started feeling dizzy. To her the worlds was turning upside down.

"Why is there a wedding dress?" She asked with trembling voice.

"Because you're getting married my child, to the man of your dream. Look at the positive side from now on Kaname will not only be your brother in law but your husband too. " This time her father answered in a cocky tone.

"WHAT? Married to Kaname? Are you out of your damn mind? Kaname is going to kill you if he ever hears this sick joke." Veronica shouted at the top of her lungs. Her father signalled all the maid to leave the room leaving him with Juri and his daughter.

"Just so you know my dear your kaname is also a part of this sick joke. What kind of fool do you think I am, that I'm going to plan his wedding without his permission." Now everything made sense to her about the planning and decorations everything going on inside the house also her parents sudden trip to paris and out of nowhere Kaname making that kind of move. Everything was set up from the beginning. What made no sense was that how come no one said a single thing to her. Then again how could Kaname betray her like this? Her father might not know about Len but Kaname knew everything from the beginning.

"I-I love someone else." Veronica spoke nervously looking down at her feet after all she was very scared of her father.

"I'm aware of that."

"Even KNOWING THAT YOU DID THIS?"

"Watch your tone child?" Her father warned.

"Papa…I'm begging you please don't do this to my. I can't live without Len." Veronica got on her knees crying and begging. For some reason this sight made Juri's heart ache she couldn't take it any longer. So she left the room.

"Vernon…" This time her father bent down to her level and pulled her into an embrace and whispered to her "Listen to me carefully Veronica after your marriage to Kaname you need to tend to him, he is very hungry now. Your sister left him at the peak of his hunger now you need to quench it. You will do it for your husband won't you?" Veronica pulled away from her father shocked and got disgusted at the smile that was on his face and realized it was pointless talking to him.

"I hate you Papa. You should burn in hell." Veronica said as she stood up.

"Strange Lydia said the something to me the day I fixed her marriage to kaname." Veronica was out of words at her father's coldness. She ran out of the room in tears and broken heart along with the feeling of betrayal.
