Kim is ecstatic to be out of the hospital. It had been a long month and she was ready to return to her normal routine. Only problem was that her coach thought she needed more rest so Kim returned to Angel Grove with Tommy and was not too happy about it. "Tommy I am so glad Ernie is letting me continue to train; so that when I return back to coach I am ready to compete."
Tommy smiles down at Kim from his spot on the couch. "Kim, maybe taking it a little easy some of the time is not so bad." He stretches his legs out under the coffee table.
"I know that I had a bad fall…"
"Kimberly a bad fall is putting it mildly; you were in a serious accident that took us to the spiritual plane and I do think you need to be more careful," Tommy softly caresses Kim's hair.
"I understand that but when have you ever noticed me to take it easy especially with a game coming up and one of the most important meets of my life." Kim leans into Tommy's touch.
Tommy frowns slightly a Kim. "Please do it for me." "Evil is still trying to dominant the World and I cannot worry about you and perform my duties."
Kim nods her head in understanding. "I will try." "I know something that will make you feel much better." She leads him to their bedroom.
"I am so glad we decided to move and are not staying with my parents." Tommy smacks Kim's butt sending her into a fit of giggles.
In another part of Angel Grove Billy was in his room trying to impress Kat. Okay I will send her flowers but leave out whom they are from. He orders the flowers and cannot wait to hear about her reaction to the nice gift.
Kat was in her room when the doorbell rang. She hops out of bed and opens the front door.
"I have a package for a Miss Katherine Hilliard." The carrier tells her.
"I am Katherine," Kat takes the package and smiles before signing for it. She closes the door and hurries upstairs to her room. Kat opens the package and sees that the card only has her name on it. Did Tommy send me pink roses? If he did, than what does it mean?
The next afternoon the gang decides to hang out the Youth Center. Kim is performing her routine under the watchful eye of Tommy, Kat is staring at Tommy when she is not staring into space, Tanya and Rocky are sharing a platter, Adam is teasing Aisha, Billy is watching Kat, Trini and Jason are sharing a milkshake, and Zack is looking at his friends in awe.
"So Tommy can we go over the calculus notes for the test," Kat smiles at Tommy.
"Gee Kat I really do not think that is what Tommy wants to be doing," Zack tells her.
Kat looks sheepishly at Tommy but he is watching Kim too closely to notice.
"I would like to study with you," Billy states to Kat.
"Oh um thanks Billy but I just remembered I have to help my mum." Kat tells him quickly.
Before he can respond, their communicators go off.
"Kim please stop practicing until I return," Tommy tells her before he rounds up the rangers.
"Oh okay Tommy I will stop," Kim has her fingers crossed.
"Kimberly," Tommy tells her as he shakes his head before teleporting out.
"What do you guys want to do while we wait," Aisha asks.
Tommy is happy they defeated the monster but he is beyond exhausted. "Good job guys."
Adam looks at his friend for a second. "Maybe you should rest right along with Kim."
"I am fine," Tommy comments before sitting down on a park bench.
Kim sprints the rest of the way over to Tommy. "Are you alright; maybe we should go home?"
"No Beautiful I am fine besides when have the whole gang been able to hang out." Tommy smiles to show Kim that he is okay.
"Fine but I will be watching you," Kim warily tells him.
The next few days seem to only make Tommy more tired as he fights monsters by day, and try to play doctor to Kim by night.
"Kim I am alright really go and practice while Ernie has given you the Juice Bar for the night." Tommy sits up on the bed and grins at Kim.
"I can practice tomorrow night and spend the night with you," Kim sits down on the bed.
"No, go and practice and for my peace of mind Aisha will be joining you," Tommy kiss her.
At the park, Kat is smiling at the box of chocolates she thinks Tommy sent her. Our little talk paid off he seems to want to be with me instead. She eats a chocolate square and squeals.
Billy is watching Kat eat the chocolates he brought her in the park. Should I tell her that I am her secret admirer or should I ask Tommy for help on the matter?
Kim has started her routine when she feels dizzy and falls slightly forward. "Aisha I need to go home now." "Tommy is not feeling well."
Aisha looks at Kim. "I am coming to."
"No I will let you know if I need you then Adam can teleport you to me," Kim runs to her car.
Tommy is stumbling around the house trying to return to the bedroom when Kim returns. "Oh Kim I was thirsty and wanted a glass of water when…" He staggers forward and she catches him before he follows to the floor.
"Oh no, Tommy," Kim screams. It was worse than she thought. "I am going to take you to the hospital. She concentrates and all her energy and the energy Tommy had given her to take him to the hospital. You are going to be fine Handsome." At the hospital, Kim calls her friends.
The doctor walks over to Kim. "Ms. Hart I will need to run more test to determine what happen."
Kim nods her head. "I need to enter his mind and see what has caused him to become ill. Where can I go without drawing suspicion to myself? I need the others to get here. Kat I am so glad you are here; can you do me a huge favor?"
Kat looks at Kim. "Sure but what is wrong with him?"
"I need to figure that out," Kim gives her a weak smile. "Tell the others okay."
"Okay Kim," Kat shakes her head. Oh well he will be able to see me as soon as he wakes up.
Kim walks over to the X-ray room where Tommy was and kisses him on the forehead. "I will be back as soon as well you know." She slides off his communicator and puts it on her wrist. Kim teleports to the park and lands by their favorite spot, he will be fine just like I was. Okay Kim focus Tommy needs you. She takes a few deep breaths before she closes her eyes and begins to duplicate what Tommy had done when she had her accident.
