Hi guys

I just wanted to apologize for not updating this last two weeks.

I am sorry… now here come my reasons; last week I was at a youth conference with my friend, it was awesome, praise God I got to go and make new friends!

Reason number two… my great-grandmother is sick, very sick and we don't know if she is gonna make it so we went to visit her this week.

Those are my reasons, so deal.

Chapter eleven

Damian POV:

I am Damian Wayne, son of the batman.

Age: 17

I convince Irey to stay on the couch, while I search out my father.

I find Father and Grayson in a whispered discussion "if you just let Tim…"

"No" Father commands, but Grayson isn't fazed by Father's Bat-voice.

"Bruce, he can do it… you have to let him try!"

"ehm" I clear my throat and the two men quit talking.

"Hey Dami!" Grayson says cheerfully "did you go talk to Iris?"

"Yes. That is what I have come to talk to you about, lets relocate to the living room" I stalk out of the briefing room and don't wait for them to follow.

When we arrive in the living room Iris is sitting up waiting, I place my hand on her shoulder and she lies back down without a fight.

"So what's up Dami?" Grayson asks, I point to the shirt and Grayson shrugs.

"Iris is wearing a gray tee-shirt. So what?" he says obviously not getting it.

Iris points to the Nightwing symbol "you gave this shirt to Damian, after you were… um…." Iris turns to me with a 'do we tell them?' look.

"After you babysat me for an extended period of time" I decide they don't need to know all about my father's almost death "but the point is that I wasn't wearing this shirt when I came here"

"Yeah" Iris cuts in "Dee used her magic to give me new clothes, her magic brought this shirt from the future." We let that sink in and wait for their reaction.

"We need a team meeting… now!" My father demands

Tim's POV:

I am Tim Drake, the current Robin and a member of young justice.

Age: 13

Batman has called a team meeting, maybe there is some news.

I smile at Zee, who is sitting to my left, she smiles back and leans close.

"What do you think Batman wants?" she asks, I shrug.

"No clue, but Nightwing seemed pretty overwhelmed when I saw him"

"How come no one is ever just whelmed?" she asks with a smirk in her voice.

I laugh into my elbow and her smile widens.

As Batman stands to talk, Diana walks over and sits at my feet, leaning against my leg.

She seems worried and her face looks so much like Zee that I can't help but lean down and place a hand on her shoulder.

"Are you ok?" I ask, she nods and nestles further against my leg.

Zee leans in and places a quick kiss on my cheek, my face heats up and Diana giggles.

"Ok everyone" Dick says "Damian and Iris have found something that might break this wide open"

Iris POV:

I am Iris West daughter of Wally west (flash) and Artemis West (Tigress)

Age: 15

Uncle Dick announces mine and Damian's discovery and backs away so Damian can explain; Damian steps away from the couch where I am sitting and moves to the center of the room. His shoulders straighten and suddenly the room is silent, Damian possesses a natural leadership ability that causes others to listen to him.

"Iris and I realized that the shirt Dee's magic provided for her was a shirt that should be sitting in my closet in the future" he pauses to let them digest this info.

"Wait you're saying that Dee can time travel?" Jai asks.

"No, she herself cannot time travel, but her magic can…" Damian explains, Uncle Tim sits up excited.

"But combining the girls' magic and the technology from that villain's suit could possibly transport you all back… that would explain why we couldn't get the tech to work, it needed magic! Why didn't I think of that?" Tim face palms, Mom places her hand on my shoulder.

"How do we know it's safe?" she asks, Dad backs her up "Artemis is right, how can we test it?"

Everyone starts talking at once.

"They need to get home!"

"What if it kills them? Then what?"

"We can't risk their lives!"

"How do they even know the magic will fix it?"

Damian stands silently watching, waiting.

Superboy (Mr. Conner) steps into the center "QUIET!" everyone shuts up.

"Let's let them explain their reasoning" he suggests calmly.

"Thank you Superboy" Damian says quietly "I have run some tests, Batman and Nightwing have as well and before we try anything Robin and sphere will also look into it. I will not send my team, your children, into this blindly"

I sit up and push myself off the couch; I stand next to Damian and place my hands on my hips.

"So what are we sitting around for let's get cracking"

Author's notes:

So while I was working on this my great grandma, the one that was sick at the beginning of the chapter, she died. I started this in June and now it's August, I just didn't really feel like writing while she was sick. She was a wonderful woman, loved her family and fought the cancer till the end; now her husband of 68 years is alone and suffering.

Sorry don't mean to be depressing, she is in heaven talking to Jesus and watching over her family. That's why I haven't posted and if that's not good enough for you then… you have no heart and I don't like you anyways!

What do you think of the chapter?
